Kwalitaria Ridderhof - Alphen aan den Rijn in Ridderveld

New location. I had to wait about 10 minutes before being helped because the staff was mostly talking amongst themselves. Unfortunately, the fries I ordered were cold, as if they had been sitting there for a while. That was a disappointment.

I saw an employee take leftover fries from a plate that had already been eaten and was covered in sauce residue and throw them back into the scooper for new fries. Besides being incredibly disgusting, this is also dangerous for people with allergies.

I ordered fries with spicy chicken. I asked what size they had, but there was no choice; it was one large. But the woman who ordered from us said they were really large portions. So I just ordered. I went home expecting the container to be full of fries and spicy chicken. But I opened the box, and it contained about the same amount as a small portion of fries and not quite enough spicy chicken for the fries I had. It was tasty, but VERY little.

We ordered on-site at the self-service kiosk. A moment later, our drinks were delivered to our table, and the rest of our order arrived within minutes, which was a big surprise for a Friday at 7 p.m. A positive one, of course. Everything was delicious, and the restaurant itself looks much better after the renovation.

Great food, the three of us had a good meal for 50 euros in total including a drink.

Beautifully renovated. That's the positive. After ordering, we waited over an hour for our food. When I went to the counter to inquire, it turned out our order still hadn't been processed. Staff comment: "Oh, forgot." We finally got our food, but without cutlery. They said they'd bring it right away. After going back to the counter twice to ask where our cutlery was, I was told there wasn't any. Result: cold food. With this experience and a lot of money lighter, I won't be coming back!

I had to wait 2 hours before I got my food

I wanted to cool down here and escape the sun, it looked open, the door could also be opened but immediately upon entering they shouted we are still closed, while customers were sitting with a cup of coffee. The information on Google Maps says that they open at 11 am and I arrived at 11:40. Not a good service on a day with 30 degrees to cool down.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. We had to wait 15 minutes longer than indicated. When we finally got our order, both the fries and the cheese on the burger were missing. That can happen, of course, but when we tried to call, no one answered. We therefore drove back to the store, but did not receive any compensation there either. It is a shame that this is how customer service and waiting times are treated.

The food, the staff, everything was amazing and delicious. The Bull burger was cooked and built perfectly. The BBQ sauce complimented the rest of the ingredients. The gyoza fries were so delicious and I don't know that we have ever had a combination like that before. Overall, it was amazing and we will be returning.

The staff was not very friendly and did not give a professional impression. The service felt disinterested and the cleanliness left much to be desired. Too bad, because you expect more from such a place. I hope they do something about this, so that it will be better in the future.

I ordered two large fries. These containers were just as big as regular fries and didn't satisfy my appetite at all.

Doesn't do its name justice. A menu does not include drinks, only the burger, fries and a little lettuce, a slice of tomato and a piece of cucumber. You would think that a menu is beneficial, but nothing could be further from the truth. If you order the burger and fries separately, you will even spend €1 less! At the bottom of the menu it says in small print: "Are you staying to eat with us? The prices stated may differ." In other words, if you want a plate on which your food is served, you can pay extra for it. Staff is friendly. However, it is a shame that I was served the wrong burger even though the place was not very busy. Solution offered: eat the burger anyway or have the burger made again. When I ask what they do with the wrong burger, they say: "we throw it away". Is it really out of the question to say "enjoy this burger, and in the meantime we will make the one you ordered. If necessary, you can take it with you to take home." In the end I ate the wrong burger, because otherwise I thought it would be a shame. Anyway, I'm not surprised by a place that uses sneaky practices such as the aforementioned menu without drinks and extra costs to eat on site. Do yourself and your group a favor and go to Lelina, just a stone's throw from this place. There you really get value for your money and you also eat a lot better 😋

Tasteless bite. Apparently putting salt on the fries as it should be is too much effort.

Very poor service, other people do get sauce pots with their food. But with us, nothing at all, gives our food in a bag, half ignored while ordering. Bad thing in general, I used to come here and you guys were very friendly. How quickly that changes is a shame. I came here with several friends, highly recommended!!!

First, the order arrived more than an hour late, and they don't answer the phone. The fries were Lau, frikandel special had peanut sauce on it🤦‍♀️ fries je war with loose garlic sauce came with the garlic sauce in the middle of the peanut sauce and mayonnaise. Very sad everywhere DO NOT ORDER HERE!!!!!

Very small portion of "large fries special"... And that for 6.25. Snacks were okay.

Had a burn burger, Had an insect in the salade (see picture), they forgot 1 sauce that I ordered… never again

Food was okay, but certainly not special. Unfortunately the order was not complete and there was an insect in the salad. I won't order from here again.

Ordered food on Saturday evening, including a bag of fries for 5 people, which was not enough for 3 people! Way too small portions. We order several croquettes, unfortunately no mustard!! Real disappointment. We ordered food somewhere else so we wouldn't be hungry!!

The sauce was in a separate small container instead of just over the fries. After half your fries it's already gone. Not much Curry, but it didn't taste very good either, so I'm actually happy about that. But this was 80% mayo and 20% curry, you hope for 50/50. Lots of hard small fries were in between. Frikandel was okay.

Eating care is deteriorating rapidly. Bami disk barely fried falls apart. Croquette cold on the inside. Fries (3 people) stuffed in 1 bag and cold. Too bad......it's getting less there.

What poor service... an hour and a half after ordering, still nothing received and phone not answered. If I were you, I would look for another snack bar if you want to eat on time.

Today we were helped by a young polite guy. He took our order and then she poked her colleague in the side and whispered that we don't have it. The lady again with the short haircut, who never feels like doing her job. So suddenly the boy says we don't have it. You guessed it, we left, why lie to your customers? Just because you don't feel like it?

I like to eat something here, because the service is nice, there is a wide choice, it is tasty and you can order something tasty for little money. I hope I'll be in the area again, because then I'll look for something tasty again.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they can serve indoors again soon, always so cozy and also tasty. Now you can easily eat your order on the terrace, but I still prefer to sit inside.

Good food at the quality restaurants, but they should really do something about those elderly people who sit there all day with 1 cup of coffee and read the newspaper 5 times. Last time there was even a fool reading a book, then go to the library. .

Nice that they had something vegetarian. And if possible, there should be more Vegetarian/Vegan in their ranges

I bought snacks here like gehaktbal and fried chicken hot wings both not cook proper and i saw rubber band in chicken hot wings i thing they accidentally fried together and taste to salty...i want to complain but i live far i can't make it return to the shop and already late so i won't buy there anymore and i throw everything it's so wasted

Had food delivered last night. After 45 minutes the food arrived. We were hungry by now. But unfortunately the food was a big disappointment. Everything was lukewarm. Fries were limp. Satay croquette was in 2 pieces and pressed flat. Tried calling 3 times between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM but was not answered.

There's nothing wrong with eating, but I don't think you need to ask the owner or manager (man) for a little bit of service! If you want to sit on the terrace without sun and there are too few chairs, there is no customer friendliness at all and they even ask what you are eating and the gentleman walks you outside, a chair from inside was not allowed either so you have to go inside. sit, why do you have a terrace? I have never been treated in such a scandalous, uninterested and unhelpful manner at a catering establishment, and after being completely ignored as a customer earlier last year, this is a reason to never go back here again!

Kwalitaria de Ridderhof is a good and well-kept "snack bar". The staff is friendly, the range is very extensive and it is well prepared. The store is very clean and you often see this differently in a similar store.

Ordered food, took a seat, thought the amount was very low. After calculating, we went back because it was too little. A bit poor. Not many people inside and outside, only people smoking or sitting in the sun, or both at the same time of course. It could be made a little more cozy inside. And I think a big point is that delivery is very expensive compared to others.

Ordered via home delivery. Chose the 'as soon as possible' option because the next time was an hour later. After an hour and a half (!) I called to find out where the food was. I was told it was busy and the food was in the making (an hour and a half after ordering). Received no apology. I hung up and after 5 minutes the delivery person showed up on my doorstep... (so it can be done quickly?) With cold food and snacks that were undercooked. So saying that the food was in the making is nonsense. Too bad, we don't do this anymore!

I don't know what the reason is (changing staff?) I got fries tonight, asked not to add salt because they throw it between the fries (yuck! Everyone digs into that container with bags of salt and they throw it in with the fried food) they say we add it for free. Then don't do it (because of the above reason) and yes, this time not between the fries, but add it anyway!! When they come home with fries and special frikadel, the fries are tough and the frikadellen are lukewarm. Sorry Kwalitaria, but the quality and service are decreasing! I'll just go to someone else 😕
