Quality of the food is very nice. Just a bit overpriced with some products. And… They need to pay more attention on who was first in line.

the establishment is not unambiguous. I drink coffee sometimes, because it is the only place in the area where it is delicious. but the service… I don’t even know what to call it. the employees who put the products in the window (there is a suspicion that they also prepare it), they also count people. the cash register, coffee machine and kitchen are in different places, and because of this chaos is created even with 3 visitors in the hall while I was drinking coffee, a man stood in line and left, because the woman behind the counter decided to serve someone who came later. and when the man noticed this, she also responded rudely. with such prices for desserts, I would like some friendlier service. I myself have left empty-handed more than once, because I waited too long in a line with 3 people but the food and desserts are very tasty. some of the girls do a good job, but it looks like they don’t stay here, because there are always some new faces

I had a very unpleasant experience at Kwekkeboom. My son was charged €28.50 for two slices of croquette and an iced tea. My cousin and I were sitting three meters away, eating and drinking as we do every week. My son (39 and with multiple disabilities) wanted to leave early and requested two slices of croquette and one iced tea. The waitress eyed him suspiciously and charged €28.50. No explanation and no receipt! He had to pay for everything ordered at our table. Why didn't she consult with him or me? I only heard this from my son at the end of the day. I was furious! When my cousin and I were back in "our" seats the following week, I gave the waitress a stern but calm talking to. A few minutes later, the manager came to give me a piece of my mind! How could I have been so horrific with that now-crying "child"! The people right next to me hadn't even turned around, but I couldn't get a chance to do so because of the manager's enormous speech. So you can simply overcharge someone 20 euros here and not say anything about it. I regret not going to the police right away!

Very expensive for poor quality. Supermarket croissants are much tastier, and sausage rolls are the same story. Coffee is also way too expensive for such a small amount. I only went there once.

I went there based on the nice reviews on google, Friendly staff & good presentation, but the tables are not clean even when they serve the request it was so clear that it’s not clean and no one offered to wipe it down! The cappuccino was delicious with nice warmth but the sweets were just normal like those you get from supermarkets nothing special, it’s not that experience that I would like to have it again!

Nice shop with delicious pastries and coffee. The only downside is that they're short-staffed. I was here today because I wanted a cup of coffee. No one came by, and I left without drinking it. Such a shame!

We have been coming to Kwekkeboom for cakes and pastries for years, and have always enjoyed the quality and range. Unfortunately, in the last few years we have noticed that our favorites are disappearing from the menu. For example, we miss the well-known Sachertorte and the brownie-based forest fruit tart (unfortunately I can't remember the exact name). This month we were again disappointed: the oliebollen barely contained any raisins. My boyfriend loves raisins so this was a disappointment for him. We hope that in the future you will pay more attention to the trusted classics and ingredients that regular customers appreciate.

Olibollen are very bad and dirty, greasy, even the lidll ones are better

They have the best pastries. My favorites are the cheesecake, red velvet, carrot cake and chocolate truffle cake.

Best bakery in the area. Maccerons are really great there. Choose from fresh to eat straight away or frozen in a nice container.

If you want the real thing, excellent cakes, supergreat coffee, and saucijzenbroodjes, this is your place! Kwekkeboom has always been top-notch and an excellent place to have a nice cup of coffee and a chat with someone!

Remains a particularly good pastry banquet. We ordered a birthday cake online and picked it up. Tasty and nice and easy. Cake looked great and was also super tasty. Very friendly help from young Saturday helpers. So it is possible; customer service!!

Delicious, fresh and well-filled sandwich, eaten healthy with fresh orange juice, the tastiest in Amsterdam, quick and friendly ladies in the service and 2 delicious truffle points for home, highly recommended!!!

8/10 Carrot cake and mousse caramel dessert were delicious. The coffee was a bit bitter and the cups were small, but maybe that's just me. The staff was friendly and polite, will come back again for sure

Ordered 30 sausage rolls. Neatly packed in the boxes. Nicely painted and good proportions. Service was friendly and correct 1 tip: provide instructions on how best to warm up the sandwiches (oven/microwave). The place looks nice, next time I will definitely go here and order a cappuccino and pastry to catch up with someone. Hope this case stays on the square for a long time. One of the few quality businesses still present on the square.

Truly the tastiest croquettes ever

Mooie zaak met allemaal lekkere dingen, en vast personeel.

We hebben hier met 2 volwassenen en 2 tieners "koffie" met gebak genuttigd. Heel veel zit plaatsen hebben ze niet. Maar tot nu toe lukt het ons altijd wel om een plekje te veroveren. Lekkere drankjes hebben se Wij hadden cappuccino, chai latte, en fris. En heerlijk gebak😊👍🏼

They changed their product placement setting and introduced a large window round the whole setup. That is understandable but unfortunately communication with staff as to what you would like is very difficult. Their products are pricey but not very special. Their food is expensive for what you get as the portions became smaller. Staff is mostly ok.

It’s ok. I bought here my wife’s red velvet cake and tbh it didn’t feel fresh, which is weird because I also bought a slice of the same cake type in the shop and it was nice.

Altijd lekker en kwaliteit….Zoiets vind je veel te weinig in Amsterdam, helaas !

Ótimo atendimento, bom café da manhã e um preço justo.

Voor het eerst in jaren weer eens in het boven-Y winkelcentrum geweest, en natuurlijk de lunch gebruikt bij Kwekkeboom! Ook nog 2 gevulde boterkoeken meegenomen, waren heerlijk, en hebben ze hier in Zaandam bij geen enkele banketbakker..Dus: we komen deel weer terug, hoor!

Genoten van een broodje kroket, een cola en een Latte Macchiato. Geserveerd door vriendelijk personeel. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Voor goed gebak (of een geweldige kerststol) ga je naar kwekkenboom!

Erg leuk personeel en de lekkerste broodjes kroket.

Kwekkenboom Oliebollen zijn stuk kleiner dan voorgaande jaren en niet meer zo lekker €1,25 per stuk vind ik hoop geld.

Het beste van het beste. Zeer goed aan te bevelen.

Met de Kerst een chipolata taart laten maken. Echt super lekker. Inmiddels een jaarlijkse traditie. We wonen niet meer in Amsterdam maar voor Kwekkeboom komen we gewoon ff terug.

Heerlijke Ambachtelijke gebakjes en een bak koffie gedronken sfeer en beleving is erg goed een soort familie

Vestiging in Noord. mensen zitten binnen. medewerker doet de deur naar buiten open. wordt hier lekker koud. meerdere (oudere mensen) klagen maar krijgen te horen dat deur open moet blijven op last van de directie. ik ben niet zo'n koukleum maar zelfs ik vind het onaangenaam. echt belachelijk en heel onvriendelijk mensen van 60 70 en 80 in de kou zetten. inmiddels is het "wind gordijn" aangezet. toch slordig dat dit niet direct gebeurde ik heb mijn review aangepast ivm snelle reactie van Familie Kwekkeboom. Hartstikke fijn. bedankt voor de reactie

Mijn kwekkeboomkroket was erg zout. Een foutje? Verder aangenaam verblijf en prima koffie.

Mijn favoriete banketbakkerij! Hier werken de liefste en vrolijkste dames! Ik kom hier altijd met plezier binnen en ga weg met een goed gevoel en de lekkerste gebakjes! De beste slagroomtaart is echt alleen hier te vinden! Alleen nog maar kwekkeboom in noord voor mij!
