• Ik zag een medewerkster saucijzenbroodjes met vieze handen in de vitrine leggen en liep daarom de winkel uit. • Een eerdere ervaring met een medewerkster die na vuilniswerk haar handen niet waste, versterkt de klacht. • Gezien de schrijver op haar gezondheid moet letten, vindt zij hygiëne essentieel en vraagt strengere naleving van HACCP-regels. • Bij herhaling zal zij de waren autoriteiten en GGD inschakelen. * Tot heden heb ik GEEN reactie op mijn feedback gekregen en dit is zeer teleurstellend, aangezien het om de hygiëne van het bedrijf gaat. Ze hebben waarschijnlijk geen interesse in de gezondheid van de klanten en de hygiëne in de winkel en medewerksters.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. Expensive for nothing. The name no longer reflects its purpose. Many cakes and other pastries are frozen, returned unsold, and then sold the next day. Displayed cookies and other pastries are only tasty on the day they're delivered; after that, they sit on the shelf for days, drying out, and you're buying a pig in a poke. Sausage rolls are extremely greasy and sit under a lamp until they dry out. Certain products don't always taste the same, which is supposedly due to interns or apprentice bakers. In short: go back to basics!

I was getting oliebollen today, and my friend asked, "Are they made today?" It was a perfectly normal question. But the girl who helped us told us three times that she thought it was a stupid question, which was very rude and definitely not customer-friendly. I've been coming here for years, but not anymore.

Ordered a simple tosti ham/cheese. It took ages and was partly burned. The girl on duty useless and not fit to work here.

Placed a simple order, had to wait a while for my order to be made. Then didn't receive my full order while customers that came after me received their order which included what I ordered. Left empty-handed

We had a hot chocolate with cream and a tompouce. It was lovely and the service is great! The guy who works there is super friendly.

I am very satisfied with my regular visits to this pastry shop. The staff is extremely friendly, and the quality of their products is excellent. An additional advantage is that they do not use gelatin, which is essential for me when buying tompouces. For me, Kwekkeboom is the only place where I can find this delicacy without gelatin. Although I always thought that whipped cream cake was overrated, Kwekkeboom pleasantly surprised me with the deliciousness of their variant. The pistachio grandeurs, Sacher cake, nut cookies covered in chocolate and croissants are all excellent. The pastries are fresh and delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Excellent cafe with a wide range of Dutch cakes and pastries. You can even order from the range in the shop next door. Top service and tips for a stimulating afternoon. PS: The TOMPOUCE was simply great!

it has so many names, kroket, croquet, croquette, this is the original where it comes from, of indonesian “kroket”. crispy on the outside, soft and tasty on the inside. certainly does not disappoint. will come back here if we have the opportunity to visit Amsterdam again. pray and wish 🤞✌️🫰 RECOMMENDED

Freshly baked bread every day, hot snacks such as croissants, sausages, ham/cheese sandwiches... delicious.

I regularly come and buy pastries and chocolate in a box and it is always more than delicious. I used to spend a lot of time on the terrace, which was fun and there was always a lot to see on that busy corner.

Slightly pricey range, but the quality you can expect.

Almost Happy New Year 2024!!! Despite living in the Netherlands for quite a while now, i still find it a most interesting cultural phenomenon to see the locals queuing up almost everywhere in the Netherlands apparently to buy oliebollen and appelbeignets and eating them at home on the last day and evening of the year. This is quite a popular patisserie and cafe and the queue here on every New Year's Eve is really long. We come here sometimes to buy their really quite delicious cheese snacks and of course on every New Year's Eve for the really quite excellent oliebollen and appelbeignets. Friendly, kind, helpful and professional staff members. For me personally, the prices here are quite OK for Amsterdam. To each and everyone of you, a very Happy New Year 2024!!!🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂

Whipped cream cake for 10/11 people from 24.80 where the whipped cream is whipped so stiff that it tastes more like butter than light whipped cream. Unfortunately, your quality is no longer what we are used to and the service when you call to report it is poor. But like the lady on the phone said, if I don't like it I should just buy the cake somewhere else, I will follow her advice and throw the rest of the cake in the trash where it belongs!!

Delicious pastries and nice place for a cup of coffee. The filled cookie and whipped cream omelette is highly recommended. Service good but a bit messy.

Poor communication and service. Ordered a cake online last week asking if it was possible to make a baby figure on the cake, for example, from chocolate. On their own initiative they make a small molded marzipan baby figure, for which an additional “10 euros” is charged upon collection. Something other than what you asked for, without discussing this with the customer and then the customer is robbed with an extra “10 euros”. When expressing dissatisfaction and surprise about this, both in the store and by telephone at the head office, the customer is not offered a solution to accommodate the customer. The gentleman on the phone indicates that they have 'at least' made something for the cake and that this is "service". Service is something completely different, dear employee. It is not a service if the customer has to pay an extra '10 euros' for it. Again '10 euros' for a 'little baby figure'! Plenty of other artisan bakeries in Amsterdam where communication, honesty and customer satisfaction come first.

It's a shame that you can't eat a sandwich during the week.

The telephone is more important here than customers who take the trouble to come to the store. Left without purchase.

Al jaren een tevreden klant. Bij Kwekkeboom Oost . Heerlijke koffie en gebak. Personeel is altijd vriendelijk. En zelfs de krant ontbreekt niet bij de koffie tafel. Mooi ook om te zien dat deze onderneminings fam deze zaken al decennia,s lang in stand weten te houden!!!!

Vrij prijzig. Lang gewacht op onze lunch. Wel een gezellige plek om te zitten.

Top kroket, lekker rustig binnen.

Een hamkaas croissant, pain au chocolat en een appelkanjer gehaald. Héérlijk! Vooral waard om een blokje voor om te gaan zijn de chocolade gember sticks. Behoorlijk aan de prijs (8,25) maar dat zijn ze echt waard. Ieder chocolaatje is weer een traktatie en gelukkig zitten er een hoop in het doosje!

Goede koffie en lekker gebak. Tosti's zijn ook prima.

Wel zorgelijk dat de lunchroom door personeelstekort momenteel vaak gesloten is. Hopelijk komt daar spoedig een einde aan.

Bekend adres voor Amterdammers. Bediening was nogal chaotisch deze dag ivm inwerken nieuw personeel. Saucijzenbroodje van black angus viel eerlijk gezegd, en jammer genoeg, wat tegen vanwege papperige vulling.

Bediening oke.1 medewerkster was heel erg aanwezig en overdreven in haar contakt met de klanten.Andere medewerkster mocht alleen maar de mindere klusjes doen.Vandaar 2 sterren.

2 koffie 2 gebak voor 14 euro dat is fors aan de prijs

Ik heb nu hier nu 3 keer geluncht. Het is niet uitzonderlijk lekker maar gewoon prima.

A slice of chocolate cake was delicious. The taste of chocolate was nice and smooth. The bakery part is quite small. But you can sit and enjoy in the patisserie part (next to the bakery). I will try rest of the cakes definitely.

Aardig personeel. Lekkere kroketjes en n prima uitsmijter. Leuk plekje, we zaten lekker bij t raam.

Vorige week 7 oktober bij Kwekkeboom zitten lunchen samen met mijn vrouw. vroeger was dit altijd top! Hoe het nu is, ga ik nooit meer terug. Ik had 2 broodjes kroket en mijn vrouw een uitsmijter kaas, beiden gekozen voor bruin brood. De kroketten waren prima, echter het brood was op, ik kon wel een paar kleine broodjes krijgen of pistoletjes. Mijn vrouw had nog wel 2 bruine boterhammen welke erg droog waren (volgens mij was het gewoon oud brood). Wanneer je dan twee broodjes krijgt met daarop een rondje (ongeveer 10cm) ei. Dusdanig dat de helft van het broodje leeg is, en je hebt dan zulk droog brood zonder boter o.i.d. dan komt dat erg zuinig over, buiten dat het niet te eten is. Tot slot bestellen wij nog 2 tompoucen, om mee te nemen, welke normaal altijd heerlijk zijn. Deze smaakten ook droog en oud. Ik heb respect voor het feit dat alles duurder wordt, maar op deze manier bezuinigen!!!!! Ons zal je daar niet meer zien. Ter controle voor Kwekkeboom: Ik heb op 7 oktober om 14.20 uur een pinbetaling gedaan van 33,00 euro.

Hele lekkere koffie verkeerd, met heel lekker hapje erbij. Vriendelijk personeel.

Hier kun je heerlijke koffie drinken, goed gebak en lekkere broodjes Personeel is heel aardig, met warm weer kreeg je een lekkere glas water erbij Ze hebben een fijn buiten terras Dus toppie 👍

Heerlijke appeltaart en vriendelijke bediening. Nadeel is wel dat iedereen mij nu op de koffie uitnodigt, in de hoop dat ik langs Kwekkeboom rijd- maar dat heb ik er graag voor over!

Elke zaterdag weer een feest voor koffie of brood met kroket heerlijk.

The coffee is delicious and the pastries are amazing. Would 10/10 recommend coming here for breakfast! Also, the staff is very friendly which is a big plus :)

Probablemente, como muchas otras personas, venimos aquí cada vez que uno de nosotros está celebrando un cumpleaños. Fue un hermoso día de verano para poder sentarnos afuera. Buen café y pastel, a un precio bastante razonable también en comparación con los precios habituales en Ámsterdam, pero especialmente por la calidad de los pasteles, tartas, etc. Servicio amable también.
