La Chesa in Van Lennepbuurt

I come here every Monday when I have to wait for my next class at school. And it's always great here; the woman behind the bar is always super sweet. I always order the same things: American wrap, crispy chicken wrap, and salmon bagel. I recommend all three, and the coffee they serve is also delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by, whether you're just passing through or if you're at the vocational college across the street.

Sofia's La Chesa is wonderful!! And, her friendly personality was a great way to start the day!! We shared a breakfast special #3 & added sun-dried tomato cream cheese. It was a perfect bagel with scrambled eggs & the cream cheese (extra charge) was the perfect complement!! Her orange juice was fresh squeezed and her coffee was smooth. Highly recommend!!

i loved this place, i took a simple cappuccino to go but the lady who served me was the sweetest. will come back 100%

Came in as shelter from the rain with my girlfriend, had 2 espressos and an eel bagel (would recommend) had a cute Kitty sit in between us on the stalls and a lovely chat with the owner, all around amazing cafe

The owner is very nice and helpful. The Cappuccino was average and the raisin bun was day old. No wifi.

The club sandwich has nothing to do with a club sandwich. There shouldn’t be pesto nor scrambled eggs on a club sandwich. What should be on there is bacon not just tiny bacon pieces.

We came to this cosy cafe for breakfast all 3 days of our stay in Amsterdam because we were served so nicely by such a sweet woman. The salmon and scrambled-egg bagels on the breakfast menus were delicious too. Thank you so much

We stopped here by pure coïncidence and: what a surprise! The food is delicious, the coffee good quality and I’m not mentioning the perfect service. What a sweet lady. We’ll back for sure!

Nice ice coffee best in Amsterdam

A great coffee shop where people can sit quietly and eat and drink. The woman who runs it makes everyone happy and nothing is too much to ask. Simply a great place where, in addition to a nice cup of coffee or beagle or sandwiches, you are treated like royalty. As they say, the customer is king and that is what happens here

This is a very nice little place to get some coffee and breakfast. The bagel I had was very good and also the the Croissant with Omelette. I would recommend it very much. Also the prices are very good! Very friendly staff!

Really cozy atmosphere and Super friendly Staff. I felt right at home. Baked goods were also fresh and made with love.

Everything was dirty. The counter, the sink, the floor, etc. The sweet woman helped us with a cup of coffee but touched the edges of the cups with her hands. Given the state of her case, we threw the coffee away.

We've been coming here for years. They have delicious bagels and good coffee. But it is especially the extremely hospitable and sweet owners that make us want to come back here so much.

Cozy old diner, and normal prices. Very friendly lady, and what I found very important, she speaks Dutch. Nowadays you have to speak English everywhere, and then I prefer to walk away straight away. I recommend this business 😍

I was looking for a place where I could sit, have a quick lunch, and use the toilets, and I stumbled on this little place, the menu looked good, and not very expensive for Amsterdam (which is rare!), the pita falafel was really good, with homemade falafels, everything was tasty and fresh, I also ordered an iced coffee to go even though I usually don’t drink coffee during the day and it was very good and refreshing on this warm day. The owner is very friendly. The toilets are clean. This is a place I will go back to next time I am in this area when visiting Amsterdam 😊

Small and causey place with excellent coffee and tasty bagels. The owner is really nice and mace you feel very welcome, almost as a family. We definitely will be back on our next visit to Amsterdam.

My friends and I ended up here during the crazy rain storm yesterday, and ordered coffee and hot chocolate! It is a cosy place for sure and will check it out next time for food. The staff was very friendly, patient and welcoming 💜

Schuilen voor een onweersbui onder het genot van hete chocolademelk en koffie. Vriendelijke eigenaresse met humor die bij vertrek de handen van onze kinderen volstopte met koek en snoep.

Excellent Falafel (avec pain Pita), fait minute avec des produits super frais. La personne qui tient cette petite boutique est adorable, un vrai plaisir.

La Chesa is een warm bad, waar je steevast met' dag schat!' wordt begroet door de eigenaresse en je eigenlijk de hele dag wil blijven. Intussen lekker genietend van heerlijke huisgemaakte falaffel of een beagle. Neem de tijd, er wordt goed voor je gezorgd.

The place is super cute and offers a wide choice of food and drinks. Especially the homemade ice-coffee was a killer. The owner, who is also the person working there, is extremely kind and hospital. A great choice if you want to have a morning coffee with a delicious bagel to start your day properly. :))

Pequeño lugar, gran menú. Tantos bagels, no puedo creerlo. Una verdadera dama lo maneja sola y hace un gran trabajo. Y no es que importe, pero es mucho más barato que un Bagels and Beans - joint.
