Delicious food. There were many vacancies available, so I wondered if the food would be good. It was delicious. I found the atmosphere of the restaurant a bit less appealing.

Cozy restaurant, where the service is very good and the food is very tasty!

Unfortunately, our visit was quite disappointing this time. We have been here several times in the past and were actually always satisfied with the price-quality ratio back then. We are certainly not the pickiest guests, but this time the experience was truly substandard. Upon entering, there was already a strong sewage smell, which lingered throughout the restaurant for our entire visit. We also pointed this out to the staff. They were friendly, but frankly, we found the response that the smell would disappear on its own once we started eating rather facile. Naturally, that did not happen; the sewage smell persisted during the meal. Additionally, in our opinion, the food did not taste fresh. Even worse: my husband became seriously ill after the meal and developed symptoms that strongly resembled food poisoning. Of course, we cannot determine with certainty that this was caused by the food, but combined with the rest of the experience, it certainly did not improve our impression. We understand that it is an old building and that certain challenges come with that. However, as far as we are concerned, a constant sewage smell throughout the entire restaurant is not part of a normal restaurant experience and should be seriously addressed. It is a real shame, especially since we used to enjoy coming here in the past. Unfortunately, this visit was a major disappointment for us and is not worth repeating at this moment.

It was our first time eating here, but certainly not our last. Our next dinner is already booked. There is quite a lot of choice, with something for everyone. The service was very friendly, and we ate everything we ordered to our heart's content, even the tapas we were trying for the first time. The atmosphere was also very nice, with pleasant music, and even though it got a bit busier for a moment, the sound of chatting guests remained reasonably quiet.

The tapas are different every time, but always tasty. Nowadays you have to order via an app, and that naturally has its advantages, but I do feel it comes at the expense of the atmosphere. Furthermore, it is often very noisy there. In short, it is recommended for the food, but for the atmosphere there are plenty of alternatives. The last time we went, last Saturday, we opted for a package including drinks for approx. € 42.

It is an all-you-can-eat place that isn't the best quality, but it is cheap! 25 euros per person

Super friendly staff and, of course, delicious tapas

We have eaten at La Cubanita Arnhem several times. We are always cheerfully welcomed and served by the staff. Delicious food and a menu that is regularly updated, surprising us time and again!

We arrived with a large group. The timeframe was clearly communicated, partly because we had to leave by bus at a specific time. It took 30 minutes before our part of the group took our drink order. First, some fixed tapas were brought to the table, often just not enough to share properly and without clear alternatives for vegetarians. After that, we were allowed to order ourselves, and things went completely wrong: in an hour and a half, I had two tapas dishes, one of which was downright cold. The rest never appeared, despite asking twice. The staff clashed, worked without a system, and a manager seemed to be missing. If you cannot handle groups of this size, then don't accept them. A severely substandard experience.

This is the umpteenth time at La Cubanita, the second time, only my partner and his girlfriend have fallen ill. This could have major consequences.

The food is tasty, the cocktails are good, but the staff here are so incredibly nice. They know us by now, even which table we prefer. And that feeling makes it personal, which I love. I go here every month with my husband. Changing menu and special offers; it never gets boring.

We had a delicious meal, as always. The staff is friendly. There is a wide variety of small dishes with a menu that changes occasionally. And the price is really great. For that money, you could eat out every week 😄

Had a delicious meal. Nice (and tasty) dishes. Fast service. Not excessively expensive. Very suitable for a second or third date, but you can also come here with large(r) groups. Making a reservation is recommended, though. This is a popular place to eat, and I understand why.

The food is varied; there are some very good items and a few less impressive dishes. The sweet potato fries and the chicken tacos were our favorites. The restroom area could use some improvement: a dark, steep staircase leads into a distinct, smelly corridor with very little room to maneuver. If you are in a wheelchair, you are not confronted with this, but there is nowhere else to go either.

The cocktails were prepared better one time than the other, but otherwise the food is always super tasty and the music is great! I love going there :)

I'm never coming back. Ate there on March 5th. The shrimp already had a peculiar taste. I got sick. Food poisoning. Was sick for 6 days.

I didn't expect to eat so well for this price. The dishes were delicious and the service was incredibly friendly. Occasionally it took a little while for the dishes to arrive, but we never had to wait long and the plates were cleared quickly. The menu offers a lot of choice, but is not overwhelming. The restaurant lacks atmosphere due to the small tables and somewhat cold decor, but that didn't detract from the experience.

Amazing food every plate is just perfect

Excellent tapas restaurant, and above all, in an ideal location. We enjoyed our all-inclusive package. I have no complaints about the food; it was delicious, and you can eat as much as you like until you're full. Cuban atmosphere and friendly staff. All in all, if it's as good next time with other tapas dishes, we'll go for the 5 stars.

A fun themed restaurant. All you can eat obviously means that not all the ingredients used are of high quality. However, everything was delicious, and ordering went smoothly via an app.

I've previously visited a branch of La Cubanita in Leeuwarden, and I share the same opinion as last time. Given the price-quality ratio, it's a good option for a pleasant evening out. The drinks are also still reasonably priced.

We found it very dark at our table, which wasn't very pleasant. The food was also a bit disappointing compared to other La Cubanita restaurants I've been to. The service was otherwise fine and the atmosphere pleasant, but we wouldn't go back to it anytime soon.

Cozy restaurant in a slightly older building, but that gives more atmosphere

It's understandable that tapas restaurants serve platters or set menus for large groups to keep things manageable for the kitchen and wait staff. But if you then primarily serve guests the cheaper and less flavorful appetizers, like pasta salad and cheese croquettes, it's bound to be disappointing. Of the 12 appetizers, I only found the carpaccio, garlic shrimp, and sweet potato fries tasty. Moreover, the female team leader occasionally forgot that a large, jovial group is best controlled with sharp humor, not by stern talking. All in all, the fact that I had a pleasant evening was due to the good company.

Edit 2: My two favorite dishes have disappeared from the menu, which is a real shame! Everything else was poorly prepared: burnt bruschetta, soggy boreks. Empty glasses and plates were left on the table for ages, and the time between ordering and being served was too long. EDIT: The concept has changed, and desserts are now included. The spare ribs were also good this time. We had some very tasty dishes. The spare ribs were very dry and tough, and the vitello tonato wasn't great. Plenty of options for vegetarians. The price/quality ratio is excellent, especially if you're not a dessert lover (you pay extra for those).

Food: very varied, from really good dishes to ordinary, with the calamari being the highlight, which was more like chewing on a rubber band. The ice cream dessert was also ordinary, with hard chunks of ice in it (like frozen water). Coffee too weak and in a glass??? Service: nothing to complain about, perfectly fine, with friendly and polite staff. Atmosphere: nice atmosphere and pleasantly busy. I can imagine it being too crowded or noisy for some people. Not a problem for me. So: a cozy restaurant with good service, but the quality of the dishes varies.

I've been to La Cubanita a few times in the past, including one in Arnhem. However, the quality didn't live up to its previous standards. The food was very unpleasant. Sometimes we felt like there was something wrong with it, or it had a strange taste. Unfortunately, the food was often not warm enough. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly.

Had to wait an insanely long time for the ordered tapas and when asked to be told that some dishes were no longer in stock. Maybe tell the guest instead of having to ask for it yourself??? Melon that was inedible.....rock hard and unripe. Drinks that were not brought. Ice cubes in the apple juice....how do you think of that!!!! Fried snacks very greasy and empty croquettes....the filling had simply been fried out. Greasy sauces everywhere and the fresh salad consisted of rocket, tomato and an excess of dressing. Only plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Initially, the waitress brought us our drinks when she tried to grab a bottle from her tray, and the full bottle spilled onto my shirt and pants. Ugh! On top of that, several of the snacks we ordered weren't warm enough. Hopefully, something will be done about this!

Good food and drinks - great concept.

Well, I got a birthday present from my daughter and a friend to eat there. We had a wonderful meal and drinks there, and I definitely recommend it. And I'll definitely eat there again.

It's a bit contradictory that Google calls La Cubanita Arnhem LGBTQIAP+ friendly and even a safe environment specifically for transgender people. - Unfortunately, there's no smoke-free terrace. - Unfortunately, there's a lot of noise from music, other guests, and the kitchen.

I paid 80 euros for a package deal. I'm a meat eater. I love spareribs and beef. A while back, there were no spareribs, and this time, no beef. I didn't specify; no, I had to call to ask if the online menu was correct. The rest of the meat selection was mediocre. I gave them a chance to make amends for my disappointment, paying 2.50 for a cocktail surcharge. The service was good, but we were the only tables occupied inside.

Yesterday I had a delicious tapas meal there with family, and the service was great and fast. Lots of variety, including vegetarian options. La Cuba Nita Arnhem is, for me, head and shoulders above the rest! Good value for money. Dessert included.

Went yesterday on Mother's Day with 3 people. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The kitchen has improved in terms of taste! I have had less in the past and also less at other locations. I don't know if there are better staff in the kitchen, but we found it pleasant. Most dishes were top notch. Small tip: the salmon could be baked for a little less time, it was dry. The rest of what we ate was great! Staff also friendly. Sometimes we received extra dishes that were not for our table, perhaps we could find a different system? This has happened 6 times. I would definitely recommend eating here once. We had a pleasant evening, plenty of choice of snacks, and we didn't have to wait too long. All in all a pleasant experience.

We had a great time, probably our favorite la cubanita location so far. The food was good but the service was also exceptionally fast (Tuesday evening exactly at dinner time 18.30), and the girl upstairs was very kind and cheerful and paid lots of attention to all the guests. The atmosphere is also superb, the restaurant has a nice terrace and natural light upstairs.

Went on Saturday February 22nd. Food was served cold, portions kept getting smaller.

Busy branch. Good food and nicely decorated. Staff is very young and makes quite a few mistakes. But overall a good enough score.

The restaurant looks attractive and is pleasant to sit in. When the food is there, it certainly tastes good, but you have to take into account that it can take a little longer between portions. This can of course differ per evening. You also have to be lucky with the waitress/s who weren't very nice that evening and couldn't take jokes very well. But otherwise highly recommended.

Most dishes on the lukewarm side. Very small snacks too. The advantage is that you can stay seated all evening and have no time pressure.
