't Zusje Arnhem in Centrum

Good evening, My wife and I spontaneously decided to grab a bite to eat at ‘t Zusje 🙋‍♀️. We were unfamiliar with the concept of this “restaurant”. However, my wife R. Nigerova thought the espresso martini tasted good, so that is a good sign. My wife also had a *friet pepiet*, named after the Arnhem celebrity DJ *Pepita Queen*👑; the fries with peanut sauce looked very much like a recent Instagram post of hers. The food was pretty okay, though the portions were on the small side. This fits the concept, but I prefer to eat a bit more at once. Additionally, my wife felt like a bunny 🐰 with the amount of greens served with every dish. All in all, a nice place to go for dinner with your grandchildren, but not for a date night. EDIT: After eating at ‘t Zusje, my wife got sick; I will never set foot inside to eat here again. Rating reduced from 3 to 1 star. Sincerely, R. Nigerov III

I thought it was fantastic... The food was delicious and the atmosphere was more than good. It's just a shame that they forgot to bring the 2nd round, which included dessert. But that will definitely be made up for another time... ;)

Beautiful building near the city center. Tastefully decorated with sufficient privacy for groups, though a bit noisy. Delicious small dishes that could be ordered à la carte. Very friendly and efficient service. For our family party, the table was set with particular care.

The food is tasty, but waiting 45 minutes for the next round isn't. Because I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for the next round, I left hungry. A real shame. It took me 3 hours to get through 3 rounds; I skipped Desert because of this. Afterwards, I just drove on to McDonald's and got a Kip20 to stave off the hunger.

The atmosphere was very cozy! The food was delicious and it didn't take long to reach the table. The service was good; the waiter gave a clear explanation of how the concept works and was very friendly all evening!

Unfortunately, a bad experience. We wanted to come for lunch for the first time and had a reservation for 12:00. Upon arrival, staff were standing by the front door smoking. Subsequently, we were taken to a dirty table, and the staff were licking their fingers with their own clothes; a child was also running screaming through the kitchen. We filed a complaint, and they claimed they were not yet finished preparing lunch at that time. Why can we make a reservation for 12:00 then? We will not be coming back.

We went there for dinner because we had been together for 1.5 years. We had a delicious meal.

The staff is super friendly. You can tell that the organization puts a lot of time into this. The locations, decor, etc., are always top-notch, and the dishes are very tasty and look nice.

Well, what more can I say about Het Zusje that isn't already known? We walked in, were allowed to join the queue without a reservation, and could eat immediately. We received a sincere explanation with all the trimmings, and the food was delicious again. Thank you, Het Zusje Arnhem, for the hospitality and service.

We visited 't Zusje in Arnhem for the first time. We had contacted them by phone beforehand to discuss the ins and outs of 't Zusje. After that, we made a reservation immediately. There were four of us, and upon request, we were assigned a quiet table because my wife is deaf in one ear, so it was a pleasant welcome right from the start. Lisa, a lovely waitress with a charming smile, gave us an explanation. We felt very welcome. After she explained how the ordering process worked, we ordered our first drinks. We had a very good meal and stayed for over four hours. So, all in all, absolutely fantastic. Compliments certainly go to Lisa as well; she helped make it a fun evening and also arranged a surprise for my daughter's birthday. Bravo.

We enjoyed a delicious variety of dishes with the family. Thanks to Hassan, it was magically fun; this waiter does his job with pleasure. A delight for my nephew, who kept wanting to wave at him. At home, he said: ‘Hassan, where are you?’ Plenty of choice for vegetarians.

Mouse infestation As described by others, mice are found in the restaurant here. According to an employee, they supposedly came from McDonald's. Screaming women and legs pulled up. Compensation following the complaint was not appropriate (€80). Spent more than €400, and nothing is being done about the complaint that an extra drink was charged. I will never come back here and would not recommend it to anyone.

I have been going to 't Zusje in Arnhem for a while now. Always full, busy, and generally cozy. Excellent menu and delicious food. Service was always okay! It certainly wasn't busy now, and the service wasn't great. First of all, it took quite a long time before they even came to our table. Not very interested in whether we knew the concept and a worthless explanation. Drinks were already a problem. After filling out the order form, it took a very long time before they brought the food, which, in my opinion, had actually been ready for a while: it wasn't warm! This remained the case for the rest of the evening. It took quite a long time for the order to arrive every time, and if you started a bit later, you really have to keep eating. Well… we wanted to… Towards the end, things were being thrown around, to put it bluntly, but that is how it came across. No "was everything to your liking" or "did you enjoy your meal"? Well, not everything was to our liking, and because you choose what you eat yourself, that is usually okay, but even that was disappointing. All in all, a very disappointing evening for quite a lot of money. We will not be coming back!

We dined at ’t Zusje Arnhem tonight, but unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. It took an incredibly long time for the receipts to be collected; so long, in fact, that we eventually just left the last one. In over 2.5 hours, we were only able to complete 4 rounds. Additionally, incorrect food was brought out multiple times. When we pointed out that we hadn't ordered this, the staff repeatedly brought it up again, asking if we really hadn't ordered it. That felt very uncomfortable, and they made things unnecessarily difficult. When settling the bill, two glasses of wine were eventually removed, but that did not resolve our disappointment. Furthermore, we were told that the hostess for the evening hadn't worked for a while and that this had already been reported internally multiple times. It is understandable that things can sometimes go wrong, but as guests, we do not appreciate it when responsibility seems to be shifted onto an employee. Unfortunately, that does not resolve our experience of the evening. In short: the service was slow, communication was unpleasant, and the evening did not meet our expectations at all. Unfortunately, no more visits to ’t Zusje Arnhem for us.

There was absolutely no one there, and yet there was no room for two people. It was 4 p.m. But now that I read the other reviews, I am glad that we couldn't get a table there.

Nice, atmospheric place and well-decorated! It does sometimes take a while for your ticket for the next round to be collected, and the quality of the dishes can vary greatly from round to round. Also, it generally takes a very long time for drinks to arrive or for dirty crockery to be cleared. As mentioned in many other reviews, this is likely due to a staff shortage, which is a real shame as the employees are incredibly friendly. A few highly recommended takeaways are the pepper steak, crunchy prawn rings, butter chicken, and the bao bun. A few things not to be recommended are the tuna tartare, grilled pork tenderloin, and the beef tenderloin skewer. These were either simply not very special or tasty, or the meat was much too tough. Overall, a good place with tasty food, but definitely on the pricey side.

The first time was actually the same as now... a long wait for someone to come and take our drink order, then an even longer wait to get the drink, and then also a long wait for someone to come for any explanation or to pick up the first order..... I then walked to the bar to order a drink... after that things went a bit faster and they regularly asked if everything was to our liking... The food is super good and tasty, the service is also very nice, only I think they are a bit short on staff.... It just takes too long.... Went in at 19:30 and left at 22:05 and had 3 rounds.... we got 2 back-to-back because we had indicated that we had to wait quite a long time ...and 4 drinks (so 2 ​​drinks p.p ) 105.- Quite pricey then!

This time, it was a huge disappointment at 'Het Zusje' in Arnhem. We had ordered drinks at the beginning. After 30 minutes, they still hadn't arrived. When they came to give us the receipts and explain the situation, we were told that the drinks were on their way. Everything went wrong; we received things we had just ordered. Double orders. On top of that, the quality was very poor. Burnt satay, a USA burger you could throw through a window. I have never experienced anything like this at 'Het Zusje'. The menu had also been changed (not an improvement). We stopped after 4 rounds. It just really wasn't tasty. The desserts were fine, though! And then we got the bill :-( For that money, you are much better off choosing a different restaurant. No more 'Het Zusje' for us. I have eaten there often, but never again.

We made a reservation for two. Upon arrival, we were led to the courtyard to a nice table. A few minutes later, we were told that the table was not available and were given a two-person table inside next to the toilet. We declined and were given a table where we couldn't even read the menu. We will never make a reservation there again.

We recently dined at ‘t Zusje in Arnhem and enjoyed it immensely. The menu is varied and caters to everyone's taste, and the service, in particular, stood out for us! Welcoming at the table, attentive to gastronomy (checking if everything was to our liking, if we needed drinks, etc.), and the real proof that the staff does it out of passion was when a table next to us (a couple with two young children) had left and one waitress asked the other if she had also given out a bag of candy. You could see the waitress recoil in surprise that she had forgotten, and she ran out of the restaurant after the family for two bags of candy! That shows that you really want to make the guest happy. Fantastic! We were even offered an umbrella when we left because it was raining heavily and we weren't dressed for it. Again, this shows that you want to completely pamper your guests and take the stress out of their stay. We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed delicious food and drinks! Tip: Zusje Cava with your dishes ;-)

We had a very nice, cozy evening at Het Zusje. The menu is extensive and there is plenty of choice for pregnant women as well. However, the service made our evening; Lisa is a top-notch hostess and she really spoiled us. Thanks for the lovely evening!

Yesterday, I had dinner with my boyfriend at T’zusje Arnhem. I used to have a very high opinion of T’zusje, but this time the experience was so negative that we won't be going there again. After sitting for an hour, we had had one round. A waiter came over to us to say that our receipt had gone missing. Well, fine, that can happen. As a solution, they were going to make the lost receipt urgently and we were allowed to fill out an extra one. After two hours, we still hadn't received it; it turned out our receipt had gone missing for the second time in a row. Our delivery person, who had likely lost the receipts, didn't dare show up at our table anymore, and we didn't see a manager either. Eventually, that same waiter came to help us again (a young, tall guy with a mustache and brown hair). He was the only employee who apologized and helped us. The rest of his colleagues tended to avoid us. The food really wasn't great either, and in the end, we still had to pay €60 for this terrible evening; truly abnormal. The worst service I have ever had.

I hadn't been here for a while, but recently went back for lunch at 'Het Zusje'. The concept is slightly different than in the evening; then you can just order 3 rounds for a fixed price. I actually liked this just fine; 3 choices is sufficient for lunch. The food is fine; it’s not wow or amazing. But a bit mainstream, so everyone likes it.

We was there on Thursday not busy but we was waiting for a waiter service 30 minutes to order only drinks. After next 20 min we get the drinks and order the food and another 15-20 min finally we get first platters. Good food, all you can eat, small portions, dessert including we left full. Restaurant is large but the tables are close together.

We were there at Easter. It wasn't full, all tables were free.. We arrived at 18:00 and went home at 22:00. And we only had 4 rounds because it took so long in the kitchen! We had to wait every time for our ticket to be picked up, and then you had to wait another 45 minutes for your dishes. We weren't full yet, but we were done waiting so long every time. I do not recommend this place!

We ate here yesterday with just the two of us. I’ve seen the sister restaurant pop up on social media quite often lately, so I had become very curious about it. It disappointed me greatly. I find the 42 euro price way too high for the quality of what is served. The food was sometimes not well-seasoned. Dry salmon. I had expected a bit more. I also found it very strange that if you ordered a pepper steak, for example, there was a very pale piece of steak on the plate, along with a lot of fries. So, ultimately, I was very disappointed... I won't be eating here again anytime soon for that price. I know better tapas restaurants for the same price. I also found it sometimes took a very long time for the dishes to arrive. We were also seated somewhere where several ants were crawling in the window frame.

Then, for a fixed price, you get unlimited food all evening. Or 3 or 4 courses. The staff were friendly; a lady came to explain how the concept works. She did this in a very welcoming and cheerful manner. Partly due to her enthusiastic attitude, I decided to write an extensive 5-star review. The quality of the food is also superb. You can simply enjoy a good and tasty meal. Highly recommended!! We certainly hope to come back again!

The little sister isn't what it used to be. You often have to wait a long time for the food. Also, the dishes aren't particularly special in terms of flavor. I used to enjoy coming here. It was great. The food, the atmosphere, and the surfers were super good. The staff was customer-friendly, and if something went wrong, it was resolved right away and we received the correct dish. Highly recommended.

Where do I begin: a group of 14 people couldn't order all at once because the kitchen couldn't handle 28 small dishes. Drinks orders were taken late and often forgotten. The dishes were tough, overcooked, and not warm enough. Furthermore, I was sick afterwards and threw up all night. I've been 4 times, 3 times severely disappointed, and 1 time reasonable. This was really the last time. Oh, and those mice, do something about it.

The building was beautiful, the service friendly, but the food was lukewarm, and it took a very long time between courses. My friend ordered beef stew (Boeuf Bourguignon) and, after searching for a long time, found one small piece of meat on the dish, among the vegetables and sauce. When he pointed this out, a new dish arrived immediately. Strange, because we'd had to wait half an hour for the previous one. We also found the menu a bit monotonous. Lots of meat, but few things like salads or other things. Oh well, I don't want to be a nitpicker, and the staff themselves were very nice and there wasn't much they could do about it, but we won't be back.

This time, it was a real disappointment at the sister restaurant in Arnhem. We had made a reservation for five people and were given a beautifully set table, but they forgot to provide forks and knives. After ordering drinks, it took quite a while before we received them. Then it also took a very long time to get our order slips. You order and put the slip in the holder; the holder and slip are taken away immediately, meaning you can't immediately place another order in the holder because it wasn't there yet. After a long wait, the first order for everyone arrived: two appetizers. They were incorrect. We fixed this ourselves, just like the second and third time; something went wrong each time. We reported it. The manager said they would check everything from then on and serve us themselves. It went wrong again, and the manager didn't even come to serve us himself. So, for me, it's no longer a sister restaurant. *Everything takes a little too long *Mistakes aren't really being resolved *Some appetizers were really salty *They also throw in a lot of extras you didn't ask for with your appetizers, which then have to be thrown away. A real waste of my money.

We had an unplanned, delicious lunch at 't Zusje!

Last weekend, our family went to Zusje Arnhem for dinner, and we really enjoyed it. The food was simply delicious and beautifully presented, but the attention to detail made all the difference. They immediately brought a coloring page and pencils for our son, which was fantastic. And because it was a birthday, we also received a lovely, personal gift. No fuss, just genuine attention.

To our surprise, there are several mice running around this restaurant. According to the manager, the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) inspects them weekly, but that turns out to be untrue. We ultimately didn't have to pay for the food, but that's simply unacceptable. The possibility of droppings in the kitchen ending up in the food is dangerous. We've reported it to the NVWA.

Unfortunately, the evening wasn't as expected. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The food was very disappointing. The gnocchi was undercooked or prepared incorrectly, as was the bao bun. The salads were ice cold, and the meat wasn't prepared as described on the menu. The desserts were good. Unfortunately, the evening wasn't as enjoyable as we'd hoped.

I'm allergic to lemon, and this was very well taken into account. I received a personalized checklist, and each product listed what I could and couldn't take. Then, it was delivered with an exclamation mark! Very thoughtful!

Today we had lunch at the sister restaurant with five women. There were very few staff members, so we sometimes had to wait a very long time for a round of tapas. We had three rounds in three hours. It's a shame because the food tasted so good. The staff apologized several times for this. They hadn't scheduled enough staff for the number of guests. In the end, we received a good compensation, so we left satisfied!

Contrary to what I've read in other reviews, our orders were delivered promptly every time. I think we had eight rounds in three hours. There were only two of us, so maybe that made a difference. But the dishes were delicious and often had an unexpected twist. So, we went home feeling full and satisfied. Definitely worth repeating.
