Quality of food really dropped, the menu really changed, reduce a lot of plates they used to have and some plates ordered came cold, really disappointed

Not worth the money to eat there; the cold food, like meatballs in tomato sauce, was truly disgusting. The chicken in honey was also cold, the hamburger undercooked and sour, the squid rings tasted like a bicycle tire, and the prawns had a nasty taste. Furthermore, we didn't receive much of what was ordered in the first round by the end of the evening. The concept of a double espresso also proves complicated when you have to explain six times that it is coffee and not ice cream. The dessert and food were far below par. I went along for the camaraderie of the group I was with, but they really need to try very hard for tapas, because you don't even come close to tapas. I feel it was a waste of money that I spent, and I left hungry simply because the food was cold and inedible. I can only say that I left very dissatisfied last night.

The manager (a woman with a tattoo of 3 hearts on her wrist) is very curt and unfriendly. And unfortunately, the food didn't taste good either. When you indicate that the food didn't taste good, no empathy is shown; instead, she goes on the defensive. They could learn from La Cubanita in Delft; they know what service is there.

We had a wonderful meal here with our team! What stood out to us most was how involved and helpful the team was regarding one of our colleagues, who cannot eat safely just anywhere due to severe allergies. They thought along with us extensively both beforehand and during the dinner, and really went to great lengths to ensure that she could eat with peace of mind. We appreciated that enormously! Furthermore, the evening was very pleasant, and we all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. A lovely conclusion to our team outing! 😊

We really enjoyed ourselves here. Unfortunately, the Zaandam branch went out of business, which is how we ended up here. A blessing in disguise.

Very tasty and varied food for a great price

Sooooo bad... I am never going here again. The food is cold, the service is slow. It took 4 hours until I actually got 10 dishes (some were just cold, didn't even try to send them back). The kids couldn't stand it anymore because it took so long.

Then you report it, and the cook comes over.... Long hair, only in a ponytail (absolutely a no-go in the kitchen!) Starts an argument and then says... Would you like more or not?? Everything around us was going wrong too This place really needs a clean sweep!

Went out for dinner here with my girlfriend today. But what is going on here? Here is a list of annoyances: - Upon arrival, we were shown to a table and told that someone would come to help us. After fifteen minutes, we walked over to the bar to see if the table could be activated for the app. - Ordered 2 ice teas via the app. These arrived after half an hour. On the plate were vouchers for scratch cards accompanying an order of Lipton ice tea. We never saw these. - The food took an incredibly long time. We didn't receive the bread, Bruschetta, or prawns. 1.5 hours later, a dish from the first round suddenly arrived. - The hamburger was still raw on the inside. We sent it back. - Plates were stacked high and were not cleared away. - Staff do not pay attention to exactly what is happening and wander around in a daze. Plates are placed at the wrong tables. - The people around us were all irritated by the slowness and sloppiness. - the last ice tea order also took 20 minutes. It arrived when we wanted to leave. We indicated that this was really taking too long and that we were leaving. The lady didn't mind and took it back. @hans Bommer and colleagues. We certainly understand that it is busy. But this was truly total chaos. We have never been in such an unpleasant restaurant. This was not relaxation, but pure irritation. A shame!

It was quite quiet on a weekday, but the wait time was still not great; the food, however, was to our liking.

The menu has improved. I come here more often. The all-inclusive price is perfect. And even cheaper than an all-you-can-eat.

The staff are doing their best, but it seems mainly understaffed. It takes an enormous amount of time for the order to arrive (if it arrives at all; many dishes didn't arrive). The food has been better, too. Had to wait an hour (!) for mocktails, even after asking multiple times. There was no time to clear the dirty plates, so they just stayed on the table. Some dishes had clearly been sitting there for a while before they were served. Things have been slow here for years, but this time it was really bad. A shame.

First, we waited 20 to 30 minutes per round before we received 1 dish (there were 5 of us, including 1 child). Second, the food was cold; we sent it back, only to get it back cold again, so it was absolutely useless. Third, we ordered 2 virgin cocktails; after half an hour, still nothing had arrived, so I walked over to the counter to ask where they were. She said, "You ordered complicated drinks, so it's taking longer." Half an hour for 2 practical lemonades??? Like, okay??? So no, we won't be doing this again, and think twice before you want to take this risk with a branch.

We came here today for a nice dinner with family, but we were not satisfied with the service. Right from the moment we entered. We received a brief explanation and were able to order drinks and the Social Deals package immediately. It took no less than 30 minutes before we received our drinks, and the food took another 30 minutes. When we finished eating, the food was only cleared from the table after an hour, and we ordered our ice creams. 30 minutes had passed and we still hadn't received our ice creams. At that point, we decided to leave.

Had a really good experience at this Cuba!! It's also really nice how they keep changing the menu so it stays a bit exciting. Always good food & fast, friendly staff. Definitely recommended!

It is a mess due to a shortage of staff.

As a long time fan of La Cubanita I'm sad to see it's current state and frankly I have never recieved such poor service at any point in my life. Food took so long to arrive that we barely had time to eat until full despite staying there for almost 2.5 hours. We even had to leave before recieving all ordered dishes. The restaurant was not even half-full. Most of the food was tasty but two orders had missing ingredients and another was heavily burnt. The drinks also took forever to arrive, meanwhile we could see several servers sitting at the bar, chatting with eachother. At one point we had to remind the server to bring us our drinks after seeing him standing there with them on his tray for what must have been 10-15 minutes. At this point, HALF of the ice had melted and the drinks were warm. We also saw another guest having to remind the staff to bring his order. Needless to say at this point but the table was completely full with used dishes and glasses most of the time. The table was not cleared consistently. I also felt bad seeing one server seemingly serving all the food by himself while a group of other staff was lounging at the bar most of the time. I have been coming here for years and was truly shocked to see the downgrade.

I wanted to say here: “Tasty tapas. Good service.” Unfortunately, it all leaves much to be desired. There is probably a shortage of staff. The strange thing is, asking if someone can take it away is immediately met with the remark “I actually only serve drinks,” and then I think, surely you walk back with an empty tray. Meanwhile, the pile kept getting bigger. Nobody took plates/dishes away. Sometimes we waited a long time for our snacks and drinks. Another table complained that they had already been waiting for 40 minutes. The quality of the food is also not entirely what it used to be. It is tasty, mind you, but the oven-baked mushrooms taste like nothing. The meatballs in tomato sauce, dry. Pork tenderloin… dry. Is everything bad then? No, the salmon with breading is divine. I ordered the Pil Pil a few times, and that is tasty. But otherwise. Unfortunately, for now, this is the last time we have eaten here. Furthermore, it is noticeable that the staff shows no interest in empty tables where guests have finished eating; these are not cleared, which looks untidy.

La Cubanita Beverwijk had better close its doors! Four times in a row, a long blonde hair in our food, and food that was barely warm. So we reported it four times and showed what was in our food, and then the young staff just stared at us arrogantly as if to say, "What does that woman want?" No manager present who could help us properly. It's all young girls and boys walking around here and working in the kitchen. We certainly won't be coming back here. Just close the doors, or at least put better staff in place. Or a manager with at least 10 years of experience to lead this team!

Truly the worst La Cubanita restaurant. We had such a nasty meal and drinks, had to wait more than an hour, and all the tables that were supposed to be empty were still full of plates and glasses. It is very dirty there, and the staff just sits around smoking while the customers wait. I think it is a really bad establishment.

We had a wonderful meal at La Cubanita Beverwijk last weekend and I am extremely satisfied. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and relaxed, exactly what you expect from an evening of tapas. The tapas were all flavorful and freshly prepared. There is a wide selection on the menu, ensuring there is something tasty for everyone. The hot tapas, in particular, were excellent in taste and beautifully presented. Moreover, the dishes arrived at a pleasant pace, allowing us to leisurely enjoy the different flavors. What makes this location extra pleasant is the attentive and friendly service. Despite the busyness, the staff remained helpful, enthusiastic, and service-oriented. We were regularly asked if everything was to our liking, and empty plates were cleared away quickly. The price-quality ratio is also very good. For a fixed price, you can enjoy a large selection of tapas, making it an ideal place for a fun evening with friends, family, or colleagues. In short: delicious food, a nice atmosphere, excellent service, and a cozy ambiance. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone who loves tapas!

It often takes a very long time for all the food to arrive. Or your partner has long finished her food before you get yours. She claimed one of our last orders hadn't gone through, even though we had simply ordered, and because the kitchen was closing since it was 10 pm, it was no longer possible. Even though we had already waited 30 minutes for it. Furthermore, it was way too expensive for the quality of the food. Most of it feels like microwave stuff; nothing is really tasty. More mediocre or not tasty at all. We hadn't been to La Cubanita for a while due to similar previous experiences, and it will probably be another few years now. For that money, we aren't going anywhere else to eat tapas, but just a nice meal. The service was friendly, though.

Had dinner at La Cubanita yesterday and it was really great fun 😄 Tasty food, fast service, and the staff were just really chill and friendly. The spareribs and shrimp were especially top-notch. The cocktails were dangerously tasty too, by the way 🍹😂 The atmosphere there is just nice, a bit busy but actually cozy. Perfect for grabbing a nice meal and chatting with friends without anyone staring at you. We are definitely going back again 👌⭐

We received our first round after 55 minutes because the order was initially cancelled without any clear reason. So we spoke to the staff and placed another order via the app. This took a while again. Sometimes certain orders were forgotten. This is mainly due to the kitchen. We were there for 2 hours. During which we were able to order 3 rounds... we will never eat there again. Because this is truly ridiculous.

It seems like a losing battle here. It used to be reasonably good. Now dirty, falling-apart menus, a dirty table, and plates with shards missing. Tables weren't cleared, part of the food was served lukewarm, receipts were forgotten, and a sarcastic response was given when I commented on the food. We won't be going here in Beverwijk anymore.

This was the last time I went to Cubanita in Beverwijk. The food is cold. If you send your food back, you won't get it delivered again. Most of the staff would be better off sulking at home; don't do that in a restaurant. And screaming and running children. It's just like McDonald's. And it was terribly cold inside. No more Cubanita for me. Everything that comes out of the fryer is from old oil.

We ate here tonight and what a disappointment. We were always satisfied here and wanted to bring people along now to put them in the spotlight, but unfortunately; - we never received several appetizers - some appetizers only arrived 70 minutes after ordering - the fried part of the appetizers was lukewarm but not hot - the meatballs were hard, seemed to have been reheated in a microwave - items listed on the menu ran out quite early in the evening. - drinks only arrived 20-25 minutes after ordering - empty bowls and plates were not cleared; I eventually just put them on another table where people had left. This meant we did not leave the restaurant satisfied. The restaurant was not full. Inexperienced staff? They even asked us, while we were eating, if we wanted to place our empty bowls on their tray ourselves. And even after the people next to us had left, the waitress still placed a bowl from their order there (no insight). No La Cubanita for us for the time being, which is a shame because we always loved coming here!

If you like lukewarm food, it's fine, but there's no hot food on the menu. The flavors are okay, though. But I've had better.

I am never going here again. I have been to La Cubanita Beverwijk several times in the past, but I have never eaten so badly. The chairs were covered in food scraps from previous guests, as if it hadn't been cleaned for days. The table was so sticky that your hands stuck to it. The floor looked like it hadn't seen a mop in years. The toilet... everything was unhygienic. Then the food... where do I even begin? It was as if a small child was standing in the kitchen. Even a simple microwave meal tastes better than what we were served here. The corn on the cob was cold, several "dishes" were merely lukewarm. The steak was tough, the bread burnt. The meatballs, barely two centimeters in size, were so hard and dried out that your fork couldn't get through them. Comparable to bullets. The spareribs were without a doubt the dirtiest we have ever eaten. We sent the mushrooms back; they were so dried out that it looked like they had been reheated in the microwave four times. They looked just like magic mushrooms, simply inedible at all. For all this, we also paid €170 for four people (because of the 'Out and About' package). It was absolutely not worth it. I eat out regularly, but I have never experienced anything like this. Downright the filthiest place I have ever eaten. I will never come here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. A terrible waste of money.

Ate at La Cubanita again after a long time. The food was tasteless, and the steak, among other things, was too dry. The bread rolls looked terrible too. The plates were simply shattered. And cheese croquettes that were already sold out by 6:00 PM. I understand now why the place wasn't even half full. A pity, but next time I'll just go back to tapas restaurant Heinde.

Went out for a bite to eat with my husband at La Cuba Nita. The food was delicious and the service was fast and excellent. The Cuban fries and shrimp croquettes were definitely worth it. Highly recommended!!

All the food served was overcooked or deep-fried until it was black. Yet, all the dishes were cold. Everything that was supposed to be hot was also cold, except for a single over-fried snack. We were there on a weekday at 6 p.m. Later in the evening, dishes listed on the menu disappeared from the ordering portal because they were already sold out. We also often had to wait a very long time for our dishes. We were already in order round 4 before the dishes from round 2 were brought. The staff were friendly and tried their best despite everything going against them. Eventually, the manager compensated us for the costs, apologized, and said he would take the feedback into consideration.

The staff are real jokers. They look at you with a cool attitude about everything. The tap was defective, the toilet door keeps jamming.

We went there yesterday with friends and had a great time. There's a cool option here. You have to scan a QR code and then you can order online. What's great is that for a low price you can try a lot of different appetizers. The portions are small, so you can try many items on the menu. Friendly service!! Nice place, with plenty of tables. As for the appetizers, I especially liked: shrimp with mango salsa, goat cheese with honey in puff pastry, corn (very sweet 😍), camembert with walnuts and honey, pulled chicken tacos, and many more. I recommend it; it's the perfect place for just such a getaway with friends. Cool, colorful drinks. We loved it. I'd love to go back and try other things on the menu. 😊

I come here regularly. But this time it was a disaster. Early in the evening, 6 dishes were already out of stock. Other products were very scarce. Some orders didn't arrive. The staff practically threw the dishes on the table. The atmosphere was good because we were having a good time together.

The food was really delicious, except for the calamari rings. However, it took a long time to get anything, which was particularly annoying when you sit down and have to wait 20 minutes before you can order and get something to drink.

It was incredibly loud in the room. You simply couldn't hear each other. Furthermore, a good 20 percent of the menu was out of stock, but you do have to pay for it, of course. Several dishes that were supposed to be hot were delivered cold, and one dish was even burnt. The restroom was incredibly dirty, and the trash bin was so full that paper towels were falling out.

We had a wonderful meal with our three teenage children. The service was very friendly, the staff were hardworking, and the food was delicious! The desserts were also excellent!

Still a great concept. I've visited several La Cubanitas. It was very busy yesterday, so they forgot several of our appetizers and gave us an extra dessert. The food was delicious. And they work so hard.

We've been regular customers at Cubanita Beverwijk for years. The most important thing for us is the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere of the people who normally work there. We'd like to thank you so much for that, because ♥️ you're fantastic! We got a puppy six months ago, and everyone let us put him on a coat on the chair next to us at the table...it was never a problem...a bowl of water for the dog? However, tonight, the manager, as she claimed, came and had to put the puppy under the table...we said that's never necessary here?? Yes, because I think it's unhygienic for the other guests...huh... She wasn't going to be too lenient...but our puppy doesn't understand anything about being under the table... Long story short, we had to continue our half-hour journey home... Unfortunately, for us and for Cubanita, a very good customer is gone... Well done, MANAGER...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

The price-quality ratio is excellent. Go there if you want to have a nice chat and enjoy a bite to eat. This atmosphere is perfect for that.

Most of the food was cold or not warm. We had to wait at least 20-25 minutes for our food each time, even though it wasn't particularly busy. The tables were comfortable. But I personally wouldn't go there again because I think it takes too long to get my food (which often wasn't even warm).

Last week, my girlfriend and I ate at La Cubanita in Beverwijk. Firstly, the food took a very long time to arrive, and secondly, we were very ill on Thursday and Friday with diarrhea, vomiting, and general weakness. We are convinced we were served contaminated food because it wasn't a virus, as no one in our family has any symptoms, and we both do. I emailed you but haven't received a response. I've rarely had such a bad experience at La Cubanita. The menu was half empty because it was all gone (steak, pork tenderloin, smash burger). The food was of extremely low quality. The meatballs had been microwaved too long, and the tacos were burnt. We had to wait a very long time for food and drinks, and 40% of orders were never received. Respect for the staff, though; they really work incredibly hard!

Unfortunately, it wasn't great tonight. Many dishes were cold or lukewarm. Portion sizes varied. We've been here quite often, but today was unfortunately our least favorite.

We had a nice spot with a spacious table. Using the QR code, you can access the ordering app and see which dishes are available. You can order two dishes per person every 10 minutes. This means it takes a little longer to fill up, giving you time to enjoy your meal together. The cocktails and mocktails were delicious and well-proportioned. The food was also excellent; the Cuban fries, the honey chicken, and the carpaccio were favorites. It's also handy that you can indicate in the app if you don't want mushrooms, for example. The service could perhaps be a bit easier to approach with questions with an extra person. We still received calm and friendly responses, but I noticed it was quite busy.

What a huge disappointment this was! I was there on October 8th with friends. The table and chairs were absolutely filthy, but we took that for granted. Not to mention the food, everything was fried in old grease. I was seriously ill for almost a week after that evening. I will never eat here again.

I can say I've always been to this restaurant. It was a family favorite. We visited yesterday and were deeply disappointed. The tapas were too small and there was less variety... the restaurant's quality has dropped significantly. The chairs were super dirty, the tables were sticky, and the staff was very limited... They ruined the restaurant.

Tables were spaciously set up, and when we arrived, it took a long time for our table to be activated. The orders were a bit chaotic, sometimes they didn't arrive, and for one order, we waited 50 minutes. Food was great! The atmosphere was pleasant. Tip! We had two people with us who preferred to order by writing their dishes, but that seems to have been discontinued. We could do this via the QR code and ordered for them, but you're excluding people who can't or don't want to, or who have a basic phone without a smartphone or something similar. Too bad, a missed opportunity.

The food was terrible. Yesterday, the seven of us went to La Cubanita for my birthday, and what a terrible experience! Absolutely everything we were served was lukewarm or cold. Even the coffee was served lukewarm, after watching it sit on the counter for 10 minutes before it was finally served. Well, it was served. I even went to the staff and asked if they could bring the coffee to the table, as we wanted it hot. Besides the food, the hygiene was also terrible. We were sitting with our sleeves stuck to the table because it was still completely dirty and greasy from the day before, even though they had just opened.🤮 Never again in La Cubanita Beverwijk!

Extremely disappointed with my visit. I've been coming to this restaurant for years, but I've never experienced it this bad before... Upon arrival, we were shown to our table without any further introduction. Our table was incredibly dirty. Furthermore, the dishes were placed on the corner of the table without any contact. The dishes looked more like microwaved meals, not at all appetizing (photos). We also didn't receive several other dishes we ordered. A huge disappointment compared to a few years ago...

Once again, cold, stale food. A 45-minute wait for the first course, which was either incomplete or missing. Every order was wrong and wasn't delivered at the same time, or something was forgotten; some items weren't there. The friendly staff lacked direction and were running around like headless chickens throughout the restaurant. There are no designated areas for them to roam around, which is simply easier for the staff. A real disaster, and above all, both the food and the interior were tasteless and outdated.

The food isn't freshly prepared at all and tastes awful. I suspect most of it comes from frozen, ready-made items. I'm definitely never coming back.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The cocktails have definitely gotten worse, especially with lots of Seven-Up and ice cubes. They're out of fruit juice, so we won't be back!

This restaurant could really use an update. There were four of us, and all our plates were broken. Shards and large cracks. We were seated by a window that needed a fresh coat of paint. One chair looked badly damaged. In short, the atmosphere was poor. The napkin stand was covered in dirty stains, and one of the glasses was greasy. The food was good but often cold. The staff wasn't particularly friendly.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your restaurant, La Cubanita. Unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. We had to wait an extremely long time for our food, and when it was finally served, it was cold. After such a long wait, this is truly unacceptable. To make matters worse, we ultimately decided to leave without eating because it was simply unbearable. This is unfortunate, as we have had good experiences at La Cubanita in the past. It seems that the quality and service have seriously deteriorated recently. We hope you will take this complaint seriously and take action to prevent a recurrence in the future. A restaurant visit should be a pleasant experience, but this time it absolutely was not.

The food was sparsely topped and sometimes just ice cold, tough, etc. The service was very young and made lots of mistakes. The beer, Spanish burgers, and ice cream were fine. It's a shame I've eaten here before, but it's gone downhill considerably.

It was cozy and delicious. Not all orders were correct.

The dining room staff (the two young waiters and two waitresses) were really friendly and attentive. Even if they lacked experience. On the other hand, the food was really disappointing. Most of the dishes were almost inedible: the meat tapas were all burnt and the majority of the fish dishes were overcooked and tasteless.

The food on his menu is inconsistent and the quality is very poor. The food arrives very late and is burnt when it arrives. Don't waste your money. I regret going there.

Whisky was diluted, normally you feel it going through your esophagus but this was really no more than 15% alcohol

Delicious food, everything arrived quickly. They could definitely improve the atmosphere.
