Friendly, good food but very noisy. With a noise level of 78 dB. Next is one ladies' and one men's toilet that stinks badly and hasn't been cleaned in 5 hours. No air freshening. With a small table right next to the toilet entrance, where people are walking in and out all evening.

Truly and genuinely a top spot :) It was my boyfriend's birthday and he got a firework, everyone sang along! An evening to remember.

You get seated somewhere and then no one comes by for fifteen minutes. We had to find someone ourselves to ask for an explanation of the concept and how to order. We were only able to order something fifteen minutes after being seated, and the first bite arrived at the table fifteen minutes later. And an hour later we were told that the last round was starting and we couldn't order anymore??? And this was around 6:30, not even at the end of the day or anything.

It was a nice and pleasant evening; however, the whole place was packed, so we had to wait a bit longer for the food. But most of it was tasty and quite good. The melon with Serrano ham had an unpleasant aftertaste. Otherwise, everything was tasty, although here and there the dishes had already cooled down.

Unfortunately, our visit to La Cubanita in Tilburg was a real disappointment. We had opted for the all-inclusive deal, but the selection was a huge letdown. It felt like about 70% of the dishes consisted of fried snacks with hardly any vegetables. The baby corn was partly cold, and the fried pointed peppers were literally dripping with oil and limp. I pointed this out to the staff, but nothing was done about it. To be honest, I found the quality of the food really poor and had expected much more. Even though the deal is attractively priced, this is not a restaurant I would return to.

It used to be really worth eating at La Cubanita, but the quality of the food is truly substandard these days. From strange combinations (steak on a piece of bread) to very bad dishes (a tortilla with fresh tuna is nothing more than a pile of guacamole with 3 cubes of tuna). Nowadays, there are also a bizarre number of fried dishes on the menu, giving you the feeling that you are just sitting in a somewhat more expensive snack bar. Fortunately, the staff still did their best, but they couldn't handle the crowds on a Monday evening very well. Many empty containers were not cleared away, and from the kitchen, it was questionable whether you would receive the ordered dishes and when. We frequently had to reorder because dishes were not being delivered. A plus point was that you could get unlimited drinks for an extra charge of EUR 12. I can highly recommend the sangria, though. But still, I wouldn't be quick to return to La Cubanita.

We went on Saturday evening with a group of 4. We were already there at 6:15 PM. The food was good for the first few rounds, although it took quite a while to arrive right from the start. But as it got busier, the food deteriorated. A few things were burnt or, conversely, cold. The service was very friendly and helpful. The toilets were very dirty! We had the Completa package, which included drinks. However, that does limit you to a maximum of 2.5 hours. All in all, we had a nice evening.

Sometimes you have to wait a bit longer for your food. But it was delicious, so definitely recommended!

Went for a bite to eat here last night. At first glance it seemed okay, but my girlfriend got sick immediately after eating, and unfortunately, I did too, until late at night. We are never coming back here! Not recommended.

We had a delicious meal at our family party. It was very enjoyable. Nice to have seen almost the whole family again.

The food and atmosphere were good, the service excellent, and the mixed drinks great.

The food itself is very good and tasty, and (gluten) allergies are taken into account well. However, the fact that you are only allowed to sit for 2 hours is not entirely fair. If you order with an allergy, this can only be done via a note and not simultaneously via the app. So if it takes a long time for staff to realize that a note also needs to be brought along, then it does indeed take longer than 2 hours. And it is therefore not polite for staff to come and announce in a not-so-polite manner that time is almost up. Additionally, it took half an hour before the gluten-free desserts were on the table, and when they were brought, the waitress was talking to another table. All in all, therefore, a less than good experience!

Nice, cozy branch in the city center, nice little bar in the restaurant. Friendly staff. The tapas are generally just tasty, and there is plenty of choice. Only the steak on bread with herb butter is a really disappointing dish. We ordered it 4 times and 4 times the steak was completely overcooked, super dry and even black 😔😔 such a shame. We are very fond of steak, so it's a pity. Otherwise, everything was actually tasty & good! Delicious sweet Galia melon with ham, delicious toast with salmon, delicious chicken pieces, and skewers, tasty carpaccio, shrimp, ham on the bone, croquettes, tuna taco, albondigas, pointed peppers, etc. Unfortunately, the fried salmon was also completely overcooked and the pork tenderloin too. Those are perhaps a few points you could pay attention to... Otherwise, we had a nice meal, desserts were tasty too, that Cuban cigar is very funny! The toilets could definitely be a bit neater / cleaner, and use a quick makeover! We had a fun evening! Until next time! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Had a delicious meal on a Saturday evening. We were there at opening time, and often (understandably) you get your food quickly at the beginning, but as it gets busier this slows down and you have to wait longer, but that wasn't the case here! We were served our food super fast throughout the entire evening! We sat upstairs: respect to the (friendly) staff who were constantly walking up and down the stairs with full trays. The Completa package is great for us; we drink a lot with our meals. Something that might need to be looked at is the lock on the ladies' toilet; maybe it was just me, but I couldn't get it closed properly. We like the food here; the menu has been the same for a very long time, though, with the occasional new item. The tables and chairs are very narrow and not very comfortable... but oh well, with the fast service (and we had a 5-year-old with us), you don't fill up the whole evening anyway, so that's fine. Ordering via QR code works very well!

It's not like it used to be; there are changes in the kitchen, the service is bad, and so is the food. I think you could have a more enjoyable dinner at a better place for this price.

Opted for the unlimited Stelz deal. This is not unlimited; don't fall for it. If even one person at your table still has a little drink left in their glass, you cannot order a new one. Also, they only have 3 flavors, which isn't a problem in itself, but when 2 of the 3 flavors run out within 30 minutes, it is a huge disappointment. Feedback regarding this is not appreciated by the staff, and you are not treated kindly here either. Save yourself the time and energy and just stay home.

We were a small group. But it seemed too busy for the kitchen. Orders arrived at the table very irregularly. They were also staggered, so that one person had already finished while another was still sitting and waiting. The quality was fine, by the way.

Let me start with the positives: the food is good, well-made, fresh, and hot. The choice is somewhat limited. Tap water is not available, which is fine and an option, but I rarely experience that. The service is terrible; none of the 3 waiters seemed enthusiastic, they were grumpy, curt, and there was no proper explanation beforehand. Additionally, it states (we only noticed this afterwards) that you can choose from various packages. If we had known that, we would have made a different choice (for example, what kind of wine). The service was a real disaster and ended up costing us more money than necessary. The atmosphere is also mediocre; do something about the entrance as well. You can't see the entrance, and as soon as you enter, you have to pass a large box first.

The food was just really, really greasy and disgusting. Got food poisoning and spent 2 days in the hospital. Never experienced anything like this before. Shut this place down.

Right at the entrance, you enter a small courtyard with a Cuban atmosphere. It's very cozy. We were the first group, so we had limited time, but we were well-informed about this. The first drink order was recorded, and the process was explained. You can order two appetizers per person via an app, which are delivered quickly. Each subsequent round can be ordered after 10 minutes. There's a wide selection, including bread with spreads, meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. Everything we tried was delicious! The dishes also change regularly. Besides delicious food, they also have wonderful mocktails, cocktails, and sangrias. The staff is friendly and quick.

Price-quality is 10/10. The food is truly awful, but it's also very cheap. So you get what you pay for, fair trade. I don't understand why this store has 4 stars. Great for students on a budget. Canned meatballs, bagged shrimp. Do you like mayonnaise?

I don't often write reviews, but this time I feel compelled. The food was very disappointing: it simply wasn't good. Moreover, the temperature of the dishes wasn't right. The ice had already melted, and the hot dishes were lukewarm. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single dish I can truly say I enjoyed. We ate most of them half-heartedly or tucked them away under our bowls. After yet another round, we didn't leave satisfied, but I simply couldn't eat any more of it.

I plan to return. I had a great time with my fiancé. We ordered sangria and ended up quite drunk, and the food was delicious. We didn't like the meat dishes; they were too dry. But no complaints. Everything else was tasty, and we understand that it's tapas and they have a fast-paced kitchen.😌🫶😋

We had another wonderful Christmas at La Cubanita Tilburg! The concept now includes drinks, which is really great! Something for everyone!

Delicious tapas in a wide variety of flavors. Even with a gluten allergy (gluten-free), there are plenty of options and the menu is easy to filter. Every time, the next round of appetizers is on the table within minutes. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Parking is available directly across the street in the parking garage. Highly recommended!

The service was good, the decor was nice, but I think it's excessively expensive for what we ate. We didn't order two tapas of tacos, one of calamari and another of shrimp (which came with four of each), and two Cokes, and that's why they charged me 55 euros. And the food wasn't Cuban at all.

It's been a long time since I've been there, but I still love the tapas. Unlimited tapas, two delicious cocktails, and a half-liter of sangria for €50 is also not expensive. December 2025 This week I went back again, and the food was delicious, and after the first round, things went quickly. The drinks were served very quickly (which is nice with the Completa package). However, I had emailed a few questions to which I didn't receive a response. I only realized on the evening that they were replying from a different email address, so it ended up in my spam folder. There was also no answer when I called. There were five of us, and one colleague arrived a little later for a drink by herself. I had tried to ask beforehand if this was possible, but since I didn't receive an email and couldn't get anyone on the phone, it wasn't possible. The waitress reacted rather rudely when she saw that someone else had arrived, and we immediately pointed out that I'd tried to check beforehand (but couldn't get through), and our colleague indicated he'd also like to order a separate drink. After consulting with the manager, it was eventually possible, but they made it very difficult, and we (especially as customer service representatives) were quite surprised by the waitress's rude reaction. It could have been much more subtle.

Yesterday was my birthday. We checked out some restaurants over the weekend. We went to La Cubanita about 10 years ago. It was absolutely delicious then!! Just yesterday, with my partner and 8-year-old daughter, I went. I really didn't like it anymore. The food was a disappointment. We returned a lot of dishes, and the ice cream wasn't good; it tasted like water. It felt like things had been rushed. Tables weren't cleared, etc., etc. So all in all, a big disappointment. There goes my birthday dinner.

Standard La Cubanita food, nothing to complain about. It's a bit of a shame that when you're given a two-hour time slot, the second round of food doesn't arrive until an hour later. Then, rounds 3 and 4 arrive so close together that it's the last bit of time.

We had a great atmosphere, but a few employees were very grumpy. We also ordered something (chicken with bacon). We ordered at 5:30, and it's now 6:30 and we still haven't received anything. I think they still had to slaughter the chicken. The water was also incredibly expensive: €3.10 for a small bottle and €5 for a large one.

The food was okay, but the fact that - when I was here - at 36 degrees Celsius no (free/cheap) tap water was served in a room without ventilation or air conditioning is of course simply scandalous.

Amazingly delicious food, great service, and a Spanish atmosphere. One round was a bit delayed, but the friendly waitress resolved it nicely. It's a bit warm inside when it's also warm outside. Hats off to the waitstaff and kitchen staff. It's even hotter for them, and there's very little space behind the bar and kitchens.

We’ve visited this restaurant several times over the past three months, and our initial experiences were great. The food was delicious, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots in Tilburg. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. The menu had changed slightly, and the overall quality seemed to have declined. For example, one of the tapas dishes came with two skewers when we first ordered it — but after we ordered the same dish multiple times later during the same meal, it arrived with only one skewer. That kind of inconsistency gives the impression of cutting corners, especially when it’s so noticeable. Several dishes also arrived cold, which didn’t help. On top of that, despite booking our table well in advance, we were seated directly in front of the toilet. That kind of placement might be understandable if the restaurant were fully booked, but in this case, it didn’t seem necessary — and it definitely made the meal less pleasant. It’s a real shame. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants in Tilburg.

We went to Beekse Bergen for a midweek. Going to the Safari Park every day gets boring. We did a city treasure hunt in Tilburg and went to eat at La Cubanita in Tilburg. The restaurant is not far from the train station and close to a nice square. A warm welcome. The restaurant has a ground floor and a first floor. We got a nice table on the ground floor. It was Thursday and we were given the choice of 2 options, classico or completa. It was explained that classico costs €24.50 and does not include drinks and that completa costs €36.50 with selected drinks included. For a small additional charge, cocktails and mixed drinks are also available. We chose completa. The drinks arrived quickly, a liter can of Sangria and a glass of wine. We ordered the dishes, and despite the fact that it was busy, the dishes arrived very quickly. There is no time limit, so you can stay until closing time. That gives a calm feeling. And the fact that drinks are included also gives a good feeling, then you don't have to worry about the bill. The desserts are also included and are just as tasty as the dishes. We had a successful evening. Team La Cubanita, thank you for the pleasant evening. We come from Volendam, so the chance that we will end up in Tilburg again is small. But if we are there again, we will definitely come and eat with you again. The hostess, I think it is the owner or manager, knows her job!

Ate here with two people during vacation. Tapas were well prepared and tasty. Not at every branch but here it is. Ordering was not always correct but the service was nice and fast. The floor manager compensated us for the long wait with drinks. Service at its best.

The food is delicious. But the delivery from the kitchen is a disaster. I have been there twice now but both times the same. Every round we had to chase our dishes, because not everything comes to the table every time. I did not find this a pleasant experience. They will not see me again and I will certainly not recommend it to others.

The food we ordered was fine. The service and atmosphere were anything but. You had to order food with a QR code via your smartphone. After we both showed that it didn't work, we only got it the old-fashioned way. The atmosphere was also just not pleasant. It was really too noisy. The service is also not customer-friendly because they have little time to explain the concept and bring you your food. And when paying, they start swearing a bit at the cash register in front of your customers.

Meals served in small portions, ordered by phone via QR, quite good, partly spicy, and very good desserts. Alcoholic drinks at a decent price. The only thing we didn't like was that from Thursday to Sunday there is no package for 36.50 with alcohol included, but there is a package for 29.50 from Friday to Sunday with food, but it is written in very small print, you may be surprised on the spot, just like we were.

Very good transport, convenient way of ordering via applications. The portions are small so you can try many flavors (you pay per person, not per dish), the place itself is very atmospheric with a great atmosphere.

The service has to be done very quickly, the waitresses have very little time to give you some explanation. There is a choice of dozens of types of tapas. There are some very tasty ones, including vegetarian ones, but most of them are almost literally swimming in fat. That saturates quickly. We wanted to give it a try, and that's it.

Food often comes from the microwave, and the cocktails contain almost no alcohol. Indicated this and was then given 1 cocktail with an extra dash and then again with almost no alcohol.

Ate here yesterday, ordering is all done via a QR code. This makes it impersonal. The portions of food were quite large. And sometimes you eat alone because not all dishes are brought to the table at the same time. This makes it uncomfortable. The price-quality ratio is excellent.
