La Fermata in Wijk 01 Woerden-Midden

The sandwiches here are incredibly tasty. But last night I ordered a pasta carbonara. You pay almost €15 for microwave pasta. To be honest, I have never had such bad carbonara pasta. There were so many fatty chunks between the pieces of bacon and the taste was very strange.

The food was really fine, but the elderly man who came to deliver was incredibly rude. I had to come down from upstairs, so it took me a minute to get to the door. The delivery driver got angry because of this and said he was almost driving away already; a nasty reaction, especially since I had already apologized immediately. Even if it took several minutes, this delivery driver still wouldn't have the right to act like that. The food itself was fine.

Delicious sandwiches, friendly staff

Way too expensive for what you get. Normally I never post reviews, but this is really not normal. Infinity is expensive, but this goes too far.

Chicken pesto pizza: super tasty

Delicious sandwiches for connoisseurs: highly recommended!

Ordered a burger menu with wedges and a milkshake. The burger was good, but because the wedges were smothered in far too much salt, there was too much bacon on the burger (and I normally eat a lot of salt). The nice milkshake in the picture with chocolate sauce is actually not a very tasty milkshake... as far as we are concerned, the price-quality ratio was well below par...

Delicious dishes of very high quality and great variety.

Good service! Delicious products!

Delicious sandwiches and delicacies. Nice staff.

Excellent spaghetti carbonara, crispy pizza base with delicious prosciutto, and the lamb shank was exceptional. Homemade tiramisu was irresistibly delicious. Everything was delivered promptly.

Extremely overpriced for a traiteur. I couldn’t take pictures as I left my phone in the car to get some snacks, their Parma is good, bread too, also wide variety of Italian dishes that are evenly expensive as a restaurant - owner seems cold

Highly recommended!! Whenever we have a team day in Woerden, we always walk to La Fermata for lunch. They have a huge selection of fresh sandwiches. Last week it happened again, and everyone was looking forward to lunch. Since the schedule was quite full, we ordered the sandwiches and had them delivered. We called to let them know that La Fermata would deliver promptly at the requested time. We thoroughly enjoyed it! See you next time :-)

The best Italian deli in the entire area. The pasta, pizza, and sandwiches are all top-notch without being overdone, and everything is prepared with care. There's always time for friendly interaction with the owner or staff, and the service is superb. In the summer, you can enjoy a drink on the terrace. We've been fans for years and continue to eat there a few times a month.

The most delicious Italian sandwiches and meals in the Netherlands!

Good service and really tasty food

Excellent pizza...more styled for takeaway, but we loved eating our pizza outside the shop

Delicious food and drinks We had a wonderful meal and were very happy with it. It was lovely and enjoyable, enjoying the food from La Fermata.

Good quality pizzas. It's a shame there's so much truffle mayonnaise on the double truffle pizza. Because of this, all you can taste is the mayonnaise, and the pizza becomes quite greasy. Hence 4 stars, not 5.

Super 🙏

We had a wonderful meal with five different sandwiches from La Fermata. A real treat, and excellent value for money! Delivered promptly and delicious! Definitely worth repeating! 🙏

They're screaming in that store

Delicious fresh sandwiches, as you would expect from an Italian place! Ordering is easy via the self-service column and what you get is really great! The sandwiches and ingredients are fresh and the combinations are delicious! There is also a nice shop with authentic Italian products, a bit pricey, but hey... for the survival of this place it is definitely worth it.

Are you renovating? There was a nail in my husband's pizza today 4/29/25. Delivery Ampereweg 9. Fortunately not swallowed!

Great shop with good Italian food! I saw in a review that they don't offer real carpaccio on sandwiches. But Italian carpaccio is Bresola. As always, I received my order from them, and it was good value for money.

Delicious sandwiches and generously filled

Very satisfied with the carpaccio sandwich. Ordered several different sandwiches and they were delivered at the agreed-upon time. Definitely will order again.

Delicious sandwiches and Italian delicacies. They sell prepared sandwiches and prepared meals. They also sell wines and other Italian food (that require self-preparation). Make sure you do NOT sign up for their newsletter, you cannot unsubscribe. This business does not monitor their mail, and is therefore difficult/impossible to reach by mail (Even though they do advertise their mail address)

Wecreate Academy

I came to Woerden for work and was looking for a nice lunch. Got a sandwich at La Fermata on the client's recommendation. What a pleasure! Top sandwich. Smokey beef. Delicious sandwich for an excellent price! Try a different sandwich next time.

Got a delicious pizza chicken pesto

Very wide range! Received a fantastic bowl last week, the food was delicious, a big 10!!!

Best pizza in Woerden. Definitely recommended

What a delicious pizza we got after our outing when we got home

Worst pizza carpaccio I have ever had in my life. Even worse magarita variant. Pizza? I can't even call it that. More of a creaker/dough with cheese.

I've only been to the store, but it smells so wonderful that you spontaneously get hangry.

Best sandwiches in the area. You can also arrange a nice business lunch as well as delicious snacks. Actually something tasty for every moment.

If you're looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to be. Incredibly delicious and super friendly staf!

Damn how bad. Microwave pasta?? Carbonara looked like scrambled eggs and was nothing like a real Italian Carbonara. Price is very expensive for what you get, €54 for 2 pastas and lasagna We won't be ordering here anymore

Good pizzas, but clearly more geared towards takeaway and delivery than eating on the terrace.

They have the best pizza in town. Had a couple of bad orders with Lasagna though. Consistency might tank if they’re busy. Other than that nice Italian taste.

After taking 1 bite of the sour tiramisu, I looked again and there was mold on it! This is really not possible!

Super tasty freshly made sandwiches

The dishes are incredibly tasty

Would love to drive to Woerden from Schoonhoven 😉. Very tasty sandwiches/pizzas and a lot of Italian delicacies 👌

Sandwiches were wonderfully fresh and very well filled, plus friendly delivery staff which completed the order! Definitely recommended for anyone who fancy some Italian!

Delicious carpaccio sandwich! The delivery person was also very attentive.

Walked in on spec and received a delicious tapas bowl prepared. Nice wine that is recommended with what, so great!

Constant quality and good Italian products. Wonderful Italian delicacy shop. Recommended.

These really are the best Italian sandwiches.

Ordered food and still not there after 2.5 hours. With apologies that it is very busy. Food finally delivered after 3 hours.

Brother, there is one cancerous, beautiful chimney working there

Angus burger is not tasty. Looks like a pre-cooked burger and not even beef.

Ordered the Italian burger, which is very tasty! However, when we get home it is a white bun instead of a hamburger bun. (as ordered online) It is useful to indicate this when collecting. The order was still in the making. Called immediately and got the answer: yes, sorry, hamburger buns were gone

I don't know if this is really Italian food, but they certainly make really tasty food.

I've ordered pizza dough from their website a few times. Dough itself is fine. But last time they sent this to the wrong address. This did not reach us, and only a week later they sent it again without further communication. We were already on holiday at the time and this was delivered to the neighbors (we didn't know anything about it). Result: €120 in spoiled dough and no refund. So not very good customer service

Terrible pizza, poor quality ingredients. Delivered barely warm. Absolutely not recommended for delivery.

We buy our fresh unbaked pizzas here, which we then bake in our wood pizza oven in 1 minute. Often with guests, we cut one pizza into four and then eat the fresh, warm, crackling pizza. Really delicious. The fresh Tiramisu is also recommended. The service is friendly and helpful, it is cozy. Oh yes, the sandwiches are each a piece of Italy in your mouth.

Ordered lasagna, but it was certainly not freshly made, tastes exactly like a microwave lasagna from the supermarket, scandalous and hopeless.

We regularly drive half an hour there and half an hour back to get delicious sandwiches here. Fan of the smokey beef! Always good quality and friendly staff. Recommended!

I come here (usually with colleagues) for lunch takeaway or delivery; the sandwiches are really delicious. Such beautiful and version ingredients too! Not cheap, but much tastier than cheaper alternatives.

Too bad you reheat the pasta. Like the carbonara, which causes the sauce to clump

Placed online order, based on their website. The products which they delivered had nothing to do with the advertized ones, by far lower quality. When I complained, they promised to send the correct products. After more than a month and a few reminders, I am still waiting. By now they don't even bother to react. Strongly recommend not to use their online service.

Ordered lasagna for lunch and unfortunately it was not homemade. A factory lasagna. Earned quickly. Still cost €8. Too bad, no more La Fermata for me.

My 4 types of cheese pizza did not deserve the beauty prize, it looked a bit like a bouncer haha. but it tasted very good and the base was also nice and crispy... the chicken pesto pizza was also good...

Delicious brown beer and delicious dessert: ice cream with ladyfingers and a spout of drink. Very nice

Bah

Delicious dishes, pizzas and other Italian delicacies They also deliver. The sandwiches in particular are excellent.

Italian food at the highest quality I have found in the Netherlands. Highly recommended to visit here if you like good food.

Tasty sandwiches for an affordable price to take away

Nice place, nice food. The pasta seemed to come from the microwave, but it wasn't tasty either?! Greetings, Pascal

Sublime, tastiest sandwiches in Woerden, fantastic specialty shop

Delicious fresh products. A bit more expensive, but also quality.

Delicious food and friendly service.

A bit of a drive from Bussum, but what a wonderful place. San Danielle ham, salami with fennel, Vino Santo too... heurlek!

The tastiest sandwiches in all of Woerden! Wide choice and delivered to your home on time.

Placed an order this morning, received the wrong order home. Of course that can happen. The owner indicates that we will deliver your order immediately. Called 50 minutes later. Order was not given and it is very busy says the owner. This puts me in trouble with my next appointment. Owner cannot think of a solution. And says we'll just have to make do with it. At that moment a delivery man appears and that sweet old man still arrives on the scooter. Sandwiches are delicious. But I am shocked by the owner's reaction.

Unfriendly staff, and 'your sandwich will be ready in 10 minutes' can be interpreted as 'it could take another hour'. And the website doesn't work either. Fix your stuff....

Looks nice. Friendly lady who helped me. The sandwiches I got were very tasty. I think it would be nice to eat at this location. Price quality is excellent.

The place for Italian products. Delicious fresh meats and cheeses. Maaaaaarrr... Super tasty freshly made sandwiches. Carpaccio is my favorite.

The owner made me my favourite bitter sweet coffee just the way I like it. Thanx)

I understand the negative reviews, but hey, there is one thing I can say for sure; There is no sandwich shop (in the Netherlands) that makes such tasty sandwiches as those from La Fermata. Recommended; Carpaccio sandwich on a brown bun (truffle mayo). There is no one that tastes like this, just try it!

Placed an online order for Italian delicacies 3 weeks ago. No order confirmation received. After a few days I called to see what was going on. It took a while but finally found the order. Would ship the same day. After 2 days of nothing, I called and found it was still in the freezer (no idea why, sausage and tapas sticks should not be in the freezer). Finally received the order. The box in which it was shipped was extremely dirty and when unpacking it turned out that the order was incorrect, 1 sausage was soaking wet due to poor packaging. After many calls it turned out that I was right and I would get the money back for the missing product. Unfortunately, it still hasn't happened despite many promises. Due to the poor packaging, the meats could no longer be described as tasty. If you cannot ship it properly, stick to pick-up. Disappointing.

Tasty sandwiches, fewer meals Especially sad for the kid on Friday evening who has to serve the terrace alone, prepare home delivery orders and also help customers in the store Sandwich was tasty and the young man is great!

Tasty sandwiches, well prepared.

Ordered food from La Fermata last Friday. Besides the fact that they were over an hour late, the pizza was cold. The information by telephone and via the internet was also not good. It is important at this time to distinguish yourself, but not like this!

Delicious homemade pizza, #homemade, #lafermata, #pizza, #recommended

Sandwiches are very tasty! Too bad about the price

Good food, mediocre shop staff. And a bit too pricey.

Big disappointment... they call themselves Italian, but you wouldn't dare deliver a microwaved meal for 10 euros! (with a separate bowl of grated parmesan, by the way) what is the effort to cook pasta and prepare a sauce with it? This can really be prepared in 5 minutes. So why use the microwave? And then there is the Pizza we ordered. Not warm, undercooked base and a tough crust... that I almost wonder if it has also been reheated....

Food was delivered more than 45 minutes late. Order did not match delivery. 2 pizzas were delivered uncut. By the time the delivery person arrived, the pizza was pretty much cooled.

Delicate dedication and impeccable products delivered on time. Great job!

Ooow dear people, what a wonderful address!!! Do yourself a favor and buy an ounce of freshly sliced cooked Iberico ham!!! One blast of taste and pleasure, melts on your tongue, you don't eat this; you enjoy this. For those for whom Italy is a bit too far... just next door here in beautiful Woerden

Had lunch today at La Fermata. The sandwiches and pizza tasted excellent. Nice place to sit. Lots of Italian delicacies to take with you. They deserve 5 stars for the range and taste of the dishes. However, this will be 4 because the prices are quite high. Ciao!

Ordered pasta carbonara, unfortunately it was cold, but I called right away. Neatly resolved with a new paste. ☺️
