La Nonna in Binnenstad

The food was very tasty and the waitress was nice. Unfortunately, the portion size was small and it took quite a long time for the food to arrive.

I went there today with my boyfriend. He ordered a seafood pizza, and I ordered pasta with shrimp and pistachio sauce. The pasta dish was very poor. Flavorless, lacking spice, simply not good. The pizza was very average. The prices were high. The only positive was the friendly service. We don't recommend it.

A place with very good food and incredibly good service from a young Italian waitress, but... you can't and shouldn't charge 8 euros for a bottle of water, it's a disgrace. It's a shame because otherwise a pleasant place with great service and good food, so don't even think about going there.

The first time eating here was very tasty, but the second time the hygiene was ridiculously bad. I received two dirty plates twice. There were yellow rings on the plates.

I made a reservation at this restaurant for 8 people. Everyone was very happy with this choice. The food was excellent, and the service was good and fast. Almost everyone wanted cheesecake at the end of the evening. Even though it was almost sold out, good suggestions were given for other desserts. These were also very good. The cheesecake was fantastic; I am still hearing positive feedback about it.

The food was more than fine, and the service was friendly too. Unfortunately, the wine and drinks were scarce; the wine glass was literally empty in three gulps. The bruschetta is highly recommended; it is very tasty, but unfortunately, here too, there were only two pieces.

A very nice and cozy restaurant within walking distance of the city center. I have eaten there twice already and I really like it; the menu is limited (especially the wine), but that doesn't make it any less tasty. The risotto is delicious and the pizza was also very good. You also get large portions, which you don't see very often in a restaurant these days. It is a very pleasant place to sit, despite it being a bit smaller; the atmosphere is certainly cozy. The staff is also friendly and you are served quickly. I definitely recommend it.

Nice little restaurant but good was very disappointing apparently the cook does not use salt? But there is no salt or pepper at the tables and other spices were not available in the kitchen apparently because the taste was very bland. When I told the server she did not apologise or anything. So overall a disappointing experience unfortunately.

Pizza dough was not the best, service was ok atmosphere was unbearable a group of loud students came here for dinner and were way too loud.

A small, atmospheric restaurant with delicious food and very friendly service.

We had a wonderful date night here. The service was super friendly and professional. The food was truly amazing and arrived quickly. Even though we were full, we still tried dessert, and it was so good we finished it all! A gem for the city center!

Upon arrival, the place smelled chemical (like it was just cleaned?). They don't have fresh tea, just some Kruidvat tea bags. This doesn't fit the concept and gives a very cheap impression. The food was okay, but certainly not above average.

Average Italian restaurant, pizzas are okay but certainly not exceptional. Friendly service. However, the acoustics and background noise are terrible. You can barely hear yourself think, which is very distracting. This is a place to grab a quick bite, not to linger over coffee and amaretto. The house wine wasn't great either.

A small but beautiful restaurant and very clean. The service was kind and fast as the kitchen too. Although the food was not something special and also unsalted, which they told me that it’s their policy when I gave my feedback. So if someone goes there must ask for normal salt, otherwise he will get unsalted (which makes no sense because it should be the opposite).

7/10 An okey restaurant, where certain things could be a bit better (like price/quality) and customer friendliness (In service). But its not that they are unfriendly. Food is okey, but could be better. I paid 24 euro, which is a bit on the high side for a pizza with a coffee.

Wow, this was disappointing. Luckily, we didn't charge for the dish that wasn't right. We weren't asked if we wanted something else. Furthermore, the quality-price ratio was very poor. My neighbor received two burnt pizzas; apparently, the oven was too small. We'll never go there again.

A very bad experience. I ordered two limoncello and an Aperol Spritz that tasted like water. The bruschetta was okay/tasty. The risotto carbonara was bland. The pizza was swimming in olive oil, including canned mushrooms. A shame. Never again. The washed glasses were hung with foam on the rims.

The worst Italian food we have ever eaten. Bad atmosphere, no atmosphere at all in fact. Pan penne was covered in table salt. Pasta dishes were not cooked properly and the shrimps were barely visible to the naked eye. Tomato pasta tasted like cheap tomato soup with no onions, garlic etc, you know, the Italian basics. Random bit of rocket salad that was limp and not fresh. Came over once to take a drinks order and then didn’t come over again. Nonna, I’m guessing it was her, followed the waiters around like a micro managers worst nightmare. Hard avoid.

Spoiled food Last week I ate here with a friend. Her pasta norma turned out to be spoiled after a few bites!! Sour and smelly. My tartufo had no crunch or flavor. We took the food back to the kitchen. The owner didn't deny it, but argued, "There's a new young chef in the kitchen, he still needs to learn!" The chef is always responsible. In the end, we had to pay for everything. Disgraceful.

A great restaurant, though small. When it's crowded, it becomes more difficult to make yourself understood. The food was also fine; the carbonara was good, but nothing more. The service was very friendly, but they could definitely pay more attention to empty glasses. Unfortunately, we had to ask for service quite a few times. Otherwise, they were very friendly and helpful.

absolutely loved the food and the service, thanks to this young lady we had a really great time and got to taste some fancy liquors on our little date. the portions for meals were big enough to make both me and my boyfriend almost give up on finishing but it was way too good to leave it on the plate. carbonara was delicious and fatty and my ravioli with ricotta and warm cherry tomatoes were on point 10/10. small and cozy place but if theres a big party of +8 then it might be too loud, just wait for them to start eating and enjoy a quiet talk with your companions :)

I didn't eat here, I'll say right away that I can't appreciate the taste, but I wanted to go to the toilet, I was ready to pay for it, to which they answered, "My boss doesn't like that," a very strange act.

Sat outside on the terrace. Unfortunately had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food. The pasta had no taste, we just put some salt on it. The pizza was dry and was missing an ingredient (burrata). The service offered a drink because of the long wait. The limoncello and sambuca we ordered were about 30 degrees. The service was friendly, but otherwise it was a disgrace.

Cozy restaurant, also a small terrace in front of the restaurant. Pizzas very tasty. Service is friendly, hospitable. After arriving much too late for our reserved table we were fortunately able to take a seat without any problem.

Very bad. Pizza barely topped. Extras were not on it. Tastes like it came from the supermarket freezer and that tastes better and has more on it.

This restaurant has been there for years, but I had not been there yet, but I heard from time to time that it is really very good. It is cozy and was busy, but the service is fast and friendly (mostly in English). It is cozy inside, attractive and busy but not disturbing. The appetizer platter was delicious, but the main course… The Zucca pasta has a fairly sweet taste, but it came with lettuce with dressing and warm tomatoes, as well as a beautifully presented plate. The risotto funghi my friend had was also delicious (very large portion). The portions are large and it is not cheap, but the price-quality is excellent and so is the service. The wines were also tasty and had a normal price. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. Yes, La Nonna is highly recommended.

Atmosphere was mediocre, there was no heating. The tomato soup was tasty but was more like tomato sauce for the pasta. The pasta carbonara was saltier than the sea and dry. the bacon inside was burnt and raw. Foreign. After 4 bites I could already run to the toilet

The food was very delicious, and the staff was very helpful. However, our soup and pizza orders arrived quite late. We waited 35 minutes for the soup, and then another 30 minutes for the pizza. Other than that, everything we ate was very tasty.

In de afgelopen 3 jaar zijn we hier al regelmatig geweest. De eerste keer op onze trouwdag en we werden hartelijk ontvangen en super goed verzorgd. Mijn absolute favoriet is een pizza carbonara, helaas niet meer op de kaart. Vandaag (weer onze trouwdag) gekozen voor een risotto carbonara. Even moeten wachten, maar zooooo lekker! Hier kun je mij ‘s nachts voor wakker maken. Een lekkere limoncello gekregen van het huis om onze trouwdag te vieren. Reserveer op tijd, want het is altijd lekker druk en met een goede reden. Het is heerlijk! Goed en vriendelijk personeel.

Due to previous reviews on Maps, our expectations were not huge, but we were completely wrong. Very friendly service, real Italian food and an excellent Zuca, rightly recommended by the waitress!

My first negative review ever, that's saying something. Ordered pasta carbonara via Thuisbezorgd. Wanted to cancel but that wasn't possible, seemed more of a problem with Thuisbezorgd so okay then. Waited 50 minutes for my food and really got the NORLIEST pasta carbonara ever. Ham was more like burnt shavings and the pasta was dry and really bad tasting. Joke cost €23 and I'm still hungry. I had previously heard bad stories about this tent from my friend and his family. Don't order people, it's really better to go to Rijstlust.

There were six of us. Main courses were good. But everything else very disappointing. No atmosphere, very noisy and hot, very mediocre starters, bad service, ordering and getting something took a very long time. And on a Friday evening with a full restaurant, it was no longer possible to order pizzas at 7 p.m.! None of us will come back here again.

Bien, los platos principales eran todos buenos. Pero además, mala experiencia: mal ambiente, muy ruidoso, mal servicio (hay que tener mucha paciencia). El primer plato parecía barato, no de buena calidad. Y un viernes por la noche a las 19. 00 horas. .. no quedaban pizzas por pedir! Los 6 de nuestra compañía nunca volverán allí.

The food unfortunately was not of sufficient quality. The Marcello's or Barcelons(?) pasta was overcooked, under seasoned, and tasted like rubber, and the wine was meh. The servers however were very nice, service was overall good, and the people around us seemed to enjoy the pizza. So maybe get a pizza instead.

Since the personel didn't speak dutch I will write this in English. We had to wait very long for our pizza's. Several tables thatentered and ordered after us were served while we were waiting. After mentioning that my parking was ending in 40 minutes and questioning when we could expect our food they took action. 15min later we had our pizza, which were good, but we had to eat so fast, we didnt have a good time here. My evening was spoiled!

Very tasty and surprising food. I had pasta with a pistachio sauce on top, unexpectedly tasty. Nice service and especially inside (I will definitely try it again, this time we sat on the terrace) very cozy but warm. Dessert was also good, tiramisu just had little coffee in it.

Wow discovered LaNonna today. Delicious real Italian food like at Nonna, nice hospitable service, very generous portions and well priced. We have found a new favorite trattoria.

Great place, super tasty food and quick service while having an Italian atmosphere sitting on the terrace! You could taste the love from la Nonna in the risotto and tiramisu. And a glass of wine and the sun completed the Italian experience. I would definitely come back to taste other dishes as well.

I hear some people rave about this place, which I don't quite understand. I have now been here for the second time. The first time was years ago, which was a mediocre experience. Unfortunately, it didn't appeal to me last time either. The service is not bad and it is a nice place to sit, but the food... Bruschetta with 3 pieces of tomato and 2 thick slices of raw ham? Lasagna salmone with 3 pieces of salmon and further filled with chunks of mushroom?? Not a piece of vegetable, garnish or even a basil leaf to be seen anywhere. Even the Aperol Spritz didn't contain a slice of orange or lemon, or anything along those lines. All very meager. When I indicated that I had not liked the main course, the response was somewhat scornful. Shame!

Heard a lot of good things about this place. However, it didn't seem to make any sense. Not one item we ordered was fresh. Even the pizza dough and tomato sauce were ready-made from the wholesaler. And then ask for the top prize for it. For a (real) Italian, this should of course never be possible. Very unfortunate, but certainly not recommended!

Didn't eat because it was really cold when we arrived. The heating was not on and it was -3 degrees outside. When we indicated that we did not want to eat in this climate, the owner was more concerned that I had to cancel my reservation at Fork! The food may be good, but the service is anything but.

Italians love food and it shows when in Italy, fresh pasta and pizza, La Nonna, unfortunately? Does not love it’s quality of food, its edible, but does not deserve much credit, the pasta was a bit undercooked, the pizza had ingredients which were asked to be removed when ordered, and the drinks were so so, we would recommend to stay away from the house wine, also its very noisy, especially when big groups are present, the female staff were very friendly, the gentleman however had little or no interest and lacked a bit of hygiene , first rubbing his nose, then handling the glasses we had to drink from, not the best impression,

When you eat out at La Nonna you really feel like you are in Italy. Authentic building, simply furnished, but the restaurant is run by real Italians. The food is fantastic and we always stay until the end for the tiramisu. The service is fast (three courses ready within the hour) and the service is also friendly. We keep coming! Compliments to the chef!

Everything is freshly made, so it takes a little longer, but it's definitely worth the wait. La dolce vita!

Food quality is below average: pizza and antipasti

Pizza Lombardia: Elegance and taste accompanied by a light crispy dough. The best pizza in Tilburg.

Hollanda’nın üniversiteliler şehri olarak bilinen Tilburg ‘a yolunuz düşerse Tren istasyonunun karşısında ki caddeden girin Tiyatro binasını geçtikten sonra sol tarafınıza düşen İtalyan Lokantası. Özellikle kapalı pizza ve Sicilya pizzayı denemenizi isterim. Ayrıca çalışan emekçilerin çabası insana güven veriyor. Fiyatlar Amsterdam’a göre daha ucuz.

Mijn pizza met zalm en garnalen was niet heel lekker. Pizza rook meer maar de zee dan naar lekker eten. Ook kreeg ik bij elke hap gratis zand? Komt denk ik van de garnalen af, niet goed gewassen of gepeld. De gevulde pasta van mijn vriendin was wel beter maar ook niet top. Hier miste naar mij gevoel al dente (bijtgaar).

Pizza was goed. Bleek stokbroodje met flauwe smeersels vooraf. Tiramisu was so so.

Heerlijk authentiek eten! Zowel het voorgerecht als het hoofdgerecht waren echt heerlijk. Waande ons even terug in Italië. Bediening is bijzonder vriendelijk en de eigenaar is een fijne man!

Bediening erg sloom en onzeker. Alleen Engelstalig. Wel vriendelijk. Pizza was niet hoe je het bij Italiaan verwacht. Met name de bodem was niet best.

Eten (pasta en risotto) waren smakeloos en de pasta en risotto waren naar onze smaak te al dente. Aardige mensen in de bediening, maar voor deze prijs verwacht je écht meer...

Gewoon goed alleen even de koffie melk nakijken zwaar over de datum drie maanden
