The finest place in Amsterdam to enjoy an authentic Spanish atmosphere and menu. Whether you come for lunch, drinks, or dinner: a warm welcome from the staff is standard, whose hospitality makes you feel right at home. Wide selection on the menu, without exception fresh and: DELICIOUS!!! Fast and friendly service, pleasant tables, reasonably priced. I have been here about 6 times now with family and friends, and I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who loves Spanish food.

We were there during the World Cup final; there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Both owners were working very hard to accommodate everyone, and they succeeded well! The food arrived quickly (despite the crowds), and all in all, it was a great evening. The prices are also very good.

We arrived at 8:10 PM and ordered two paellas at 8:15 PM. At 9:45 PM, we were still waiting for our paellas. Clearly, there was a misunderstanding. No one came to see us; they simply avoided us.

Good paella in AMS Centraal Had the gambas for starter - prawns were juicy Paella for the main - had to wait a while as it was freshly prepared but it was worth the wait. You could tell the ingredients were fresh by their texture and portion was generous too. Sangria for drinks Staff was attentive but it was during the heatwave in NL when I went and I sweating a little during the meal. But I would recommend this place to anyone looking for nice Spanish food at a reasonable price.

We had a delicious meal, excellent service, at a very reasonable price. The Zarzuela and the Paella were truly delicious. A top-notch restaurant, we will definitely be back soon.

This area is very touristy, so there aren't many good dining options around, but this place has become my go-to whenever I'm in the city center and looking for dinner. I've been here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. The last time I visited, a couple of weeks ago, we were served by the sweetest waiter, which made the experience even better. And of course, the paella is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended

The service is friendly, but the food tastes like nothing; we had tapas, and everything was tasteless. We didn't order any more either. Never again.

The service was super friendly and the food, especially the paella, was perfect and truly authentic. The prices were fair as well. You really feel comfortable here! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. It’s also very spacious, so everyone can find a seat easily. I can only highly recommend it!

We ordered some tapas. Three meatballs in tomato sauce, which were just okay. Some potatoes with aioli that were overcooked (they were the house specialty, practically permanent). And some fried calamari that was very overcooked and had clearly been sitting there for ages. The service was just okay. There was hardly anyone there, and the waiter refused to serve some customers ahead of us even though the place was empty. The only Spanish thing about it was the title.

Ordered delivery from this place. I asked for Meat Paella. It was the worst paella that I ever have seen. Jesus, there was 4 pieces of some god forsaken sausage (who in their right mind puts a sausage in paella???), 3 chunks of chicken parts where it was 60% bones and thats it. Wow. Thats a level. I advise you to ditch this place completely

I think their tapas are better than their seafood rice 😁 I'll definitely come back to this restaurant. Lots of Korean customers! The servers and chefs are all Korean, very friendly and comfortable.

Great place: Paella special delicious!

I went there with a group of friends. We had reservations and were well-served. The server was new, which caused a bit of confusion, but we managed to sort it out. Unfortunately, a colleague ordered a chicken schnitzel, and it arrived very disappointingly dry and unappetizing. I also ordered a Savion Millet, a luxury steak, for €30. What I received was a paltry piece of meat with a salad that made me cry. The food here can be good, like the paella, but some dishes aren't worth the price. The service was decent, so I'm satisfied, but unfortunately, the food simply wasn't worth the price.

We went for dinner and frankly, we were disappointed. The tapas were very small for the price; for example, 3 meatballs for €7.50 or 5 prawns for almost €10. The food was very average, nothing special. The only thing I thought was worth the price was the chicken, which was just okay in terms of flavor. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it if you want to eat Spanish food in Amsterdam.

Avoid this place, The head waitress was so rude to my friend and I. We went to this place and ordered a lot of food, she kept (intentionally i think) forgetting what we ordered. Later on she would just head towards the bar and chat away with other employees, laughing loudly while obviously not minding us and probably other guests. Service was pretty much non existent, food was average.

Delicious food! It's been a while since we've been here, but tonight we had a truly fantastic meal. We enjoyed a variety of tapas and drank delicious sangria. The various croquettes were so good 😋. The owners are super sweet. We'll be back soon.

It took them an hour to bring the food after we arrived. The restaurant is really ugly, with terrible decor and poor lighting. The food is okay, but I ordered a medium-rare sirloin steak and they cooked it overcooked. The service was awful, not to mention the radiators were freezing even on the lowest setting. I wouldn't go back. The prices leave much to be desired.

The food was amazing, and I'd really missed having an Estrella Galicia beer. Clara took great care of us; highly recommended!

Brenda is a wonderful waitress, and Jose is a real pro. The chorizo ​​in wine and the patatas bravas are fantastic. The fried calamari is also a must-try.

We ordered fish soup, and to our surprise, it tasted of vinegar. To make matters worse, the waitress came over and said she was very sorry, but offered us a freshly made soup. This meant the soup had been reheated and spoiled. It's a shame, because Spanish food is so delicious; I lived there for 20 years, and this doesn't do the cuisine justice.

Strolling through Amsterdam and popping into a Spanish bar is priceless. The food, service, and location are all top-notch.

We ate at La Paella again last Friday, and it was fantastic once again. The wide selection of tapas is all super fresh and delicious. After the tapas, we ordered a paella dish and mussels, as usual. Owner Roberto gave us some drinks on the house (after having served complimentary dishes and offered us digestives on previous visits). A very nice place, great atmosphere, and fantastic—and funny—service. Highly recommended!!!

I had the Paella Especial, it was very good, not crowded, with background jazz and Spanish music. A great place in Amsterdam. Paella always takes time to prepare, whether in Barcelona or Amsterdam, that's normal; here, it takes about 25 minutes to prepare, enough time to enjoy a bowl of soup, for example.

Second time here, first for my birthday with family, and now with my girlfriend. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to a table. We were given the menu, made our choice, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The friendly and cheerful service was excellent; we'll definitely be back.

Yesterday I had dinner with friends. I ordered a veal schnitzel, but it was far too tough and also very thin. The dessert, a banana split with whipped cream, was also disappointing. The whipped cream clearly came from a can, and I suspect it was the cheapest kind. If I hadn't been with friends, I would have returned the schnitzel and left. We ordered Russian salad and patatas bravas. We left the whole thing; the potatoes were overcooked and very mushy, and the Russian salad was strong and out of a package. I don't recommend it at all.

It is an INSULT to Spanish food. We ordered some bravas, the potatoes were overcooked and oily, the sauce was nothing special, the Russian salad had to be from the supermarket because I don't believe a cook is capable of making that, thank goodness the beer doesn't change the flavor because it was the only good thing, the staff was good and attentive.

The paella tastes good, however, the plate used by husband was quickly removed from our table and we asked for another clean plate later. Found that they charged us 3 Euros for the requested clean plate❗️

I can’t vouch for the entire menu, but the paella is first rate! They also have a full Tapas menu that looks very authentic. I just stumbled across his place because I’m staying nearby and didn’t want to eat pizza or pasta. It’s a small informal place very close to the center. Strongly recommended!

Amazing tapas and paella in the heart of Amsterdam.

We started with melon con jamón, a plate with four slices of melon and delicious, savory ham. This was followed by a gazpacho that captivated with its subtle, distinct flavors. The paella marinera was perfect, every bite a delight. And then, for dessert, lemon sorbet arrived, conjuring up an explosion of flavor with every spoonful – delicious! I found the house red wine interesting, but a bit heavy after a while. The sangria, on the other hand, had a lovely, light, summery flavor. Simply delicious Spanish cuisine. Tired of eating sausage and mashed potatoes... welcome to Spain. Paella and fedua were excellent. Kept warm on a stove at the end of the table, the server served the first portion on your plate. To tide us over, as it was a bit long, we were brought bread and garlic cream. The decor is retro and it's noisy, but we had a really good meal with friendly service.

my mom and her friend were craving paella and this restaurant was literally right in front of us. you can smell the delicious aroma just coming towards the door. we just ordered the seafood paella and the paella valenciana. so so good omg. it was so worth the wait. the paella was absolutely phenomenal, probably the best i’ve ever had. it was so good we went here twice, once on our first and the second on our last night in amsterdam. the staff are very friendly and welcoming. totally recommend!

I came to that place specifically because I saw paella🥘 on the menu. I love paella, and this place's dish is large and delicious, just like it was in Spain. Even better, they have sangria, which is another great offering! The staff is very polite and friendly. Definitely recommend!

What a bad experience I had the last time I went. The service was very poor. The waitress, a very arrogant and pedantic blonde girl, took orders and answered questions. She was very rude to the customer, not at all professional. The food, my paella, was very bad, dry and tasteless. The other food ordered was also not delicious at all, as expected. The kitchen was very poorly organized. They brought out all the appetizers separately, and the food was cold. Aside from one of my best restaurants, I will never return.

They speak in Spanish, the attention is good, but the food does not reach the level of the Spanish, the delay in being served a paella (which they are supposed to have a large ready inside and heat in portions) is very long... as if they were just making it, so it takes a while, if you are hungry, you know you are going to wait! Apart from that, the paella is very greasy, the shrimp came undercooked, it was unfortunate, I couldn't eat it (they didn't clean it either, you could see all the dirt that the shrimp brings) I also ordered a cream of mushroom soup and it was literally an easy-to-prepare sachet cream that they sell in the supermarket and that you can prepare at home.
