La Piazza in Wijk 02 Kinderdijk

A wonderfully nice restaurant in Alblasserdam, close to the Kinderdijk windmills. The kitchen is run by the parents and their son is the host; they are all equally welcoming! Everything is homemade and delicious. Freshly baked rolls, pizzas, etc. Authentic dishes like uštipci and ćevapčići are amazing, and the desserts are definitely worth ordering as well ;) Highly recommended!

Fresh dishes and friendly staff

Honestly one of the better places I have been to. If this restaurant were located in the center of Rotterdam, I think there would be a line outside the door every day! The food is really fresh and good.

They make the best pastas by far. I would recommend the Cremosa.

Do you want to be *always* guaranteed delicious food, good service, a pleasant atmosphere, and all of that for an affordable price? Then La Piazza is the place for you! My boyfriend and I love coming here and regularly bring others along to share in our positive experiences. Every time, we are surprised by the delicious food, the great service, and the cozy atmosphere. So, as far as we are concerned, it is absolutely highly recommended! ❤️

Went here with a friend to eat when visiting the Kinderdijk windmills nearby. I had the tuna salad, my friend had a pasta dish, and we shared a garlic bread for starter. We both really enjoyed our meals and the garlic bread was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also offered to help with any questions about the menu as they didn’t have an English version. Would definitely recommend.

Cozy pizzeria with delicious, tasty food. Very friendly and good service.

This is the place to be for hospitality and delicious food. Everything is freshly prepared. My husband was very enthusiastic about the bolognese, which was a recipe from the owner. The pizza was also top-notch. A family business that holds hospitality in high regard, taking the time for a chat and paying attention to the guest in a warm, cozy restaurant. Highly recommended for a meal if you are in Alblasserdam or the surrounding area!!

Delicious homemade food; you can taste the freshness! Very hospitable, I'll definitely be back.

The staff is super friendly and by far the best truffle pasta I've ever had here, everything is freshly made! 10/10

Fairly small menu, except for pizza, where there is a bit more choice. Drinks are expensive, €3.60 for a Fanta. A simple wine with a screw cap is 46 euros a bottle. Portions are good; a pizza and the tenderloin are slightly burnt for 24.50. The tenderloin doesn't even come with fries, you have to pay an extra 5.50 for those.

Had a good meal, clean and tidy place. Super nice people, I will definitely be back!

Always fun, super hospitable, and delicious food !!!

Top service and delicious food, super friendly too

We had a wonderful meal with my girlfriend; the staff were very friendly and polite, and the food was delicious! You will see me more often; highly recommended for everyone.

Very friendly welcome and delicious food

Best place in all of Alblasserdam

Very bad and unwelcoming experience. We had properly made a reservation by phone for 4 people, which went fine. However, upon arrival, we were refused entry at the door because we were wearing 'work clothes'. Even sitting outside on the terrace was absolutely not an option. As a result, we had to look for another restaurant at the last minute. The way guests are treated here is extremely customer-unfriendly. Never again for us.

A very nice little restaurant. You can sit both outside and inside. The ambiance is lovely, and the restaurant has a beautiful interior. The background music was also excellent. The service was very friendly, polite, and helpful. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Moreover, the food was relatively inexpensive for the area, despite its deliciousness. This restaurant comes highly recommended.

Tasty, friendly, and not expensive.

Super friendly service, very hospitable and professional, truly TOP!! Cocktail perfectly made. Delicious pizza, the best ever!! My friend had a tasty, juicy burger, a flavor explosion. In short, it was all perfect. Very happy that we were here and could enjoy this lovely spot on the terrace, with atmospheric background music that provides extra holiday vibes. The interior is stylish and trendy. If you are on holiday in Alblasserdam like us, be sure to stop by. You will be very pleasantly surprised.

Have ordered excellent pizzas several times. Good quality, great price, and artisanally made. Delivery driver exactly on time and very polite. 10 out of 10!

Very friendly and the food was very good. Father and mother in the kitchen and son serving. The food was exquisite. Highly recommended.

After all the positive reviews, we were very curious about our food. We ordered 2 pizzas by phone and within 20 minutes 2 piping hot pizzas were delivered. Friendly delivery person and 2 top pizzas; the best delivery pizzas we have ever had. The dough was delicious, especially the flavor, and the toppings were good. We will be ordering here often!

Always good at this restaurant, definitely recommended!

Today I ate truffle pasta at this cozy restaurant on Scheldeplein in Alblasserdam. As far as I'm concerned, the TASTIEST truffle pasta in all of Alblasserdam and the surrounding area. Afterwards, I finished off with a delicious ice cream. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, with love, and presented with a smile. It has an open kitchen (hatch), which is also very nice. I felt very welcome there! They remembered what I wanted to order (I had been there earlier this week but didn't have much time then and said I would come back), and that too is proof of attention to the customer and good management. Highly recommended!! I would love to come back! Thank you La Piazza team! You are the best!!

Incredibly nice and hospitable staff who are always ready to help. The dough is homemade and you can definitely taste it, not only in the pizzas but also in the breads served with dishes like cevapcici. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good restaurant in Alblasserdam!

Nice people Delicious food Close to home Really nice

Super food and service. We are very critical, but we always eat sooooo well here. The owner is also so hospitable. Always friendly to all the children.

We had a delicious meal at La Piazza tonight. A very cozy and intimate family restaurant. The atmosphere here is really top-notch! And the food, wow, amazing!! We will definitely be back.

Very nice restaurant, the team was great and the food was very good! Thank you all for a perfect dinner! The French family

We were refused entry to this restaurant today as a group of four, even though we were dressed smartly. One of us was wearing smart shorts due to the warm weather of about 30 degrees. Inside, we saw several other guests who were also wearing shorts, but they were simply allowed to remain seated. When we commented on this and pointed out that other customers were wearing the same clothing, we were still not allowed to take a seat. Additionally, an employee later indicated to a friend of ours that it might have been because we were in a group with a Black boy. That made the situation even more painful for us and gave us a strong feeling that discrimination was involved. We simply came for a respectful and pleasant meal, but felt completely unwelcome. A very disappointing experience and we were treated with absolutely NO hospitality.

What we particularly appreciated was the hospitality and atmosphere. Friendly, warm-hearted people/staff. Good food too. We will definitely be back. It's also recently renovated. It's beautiful.

It was a fantastic evening with lots of wine and delicious food.... we will be back soon

La Piazza is a small, yet charming, and authentic restaurant run by a Croatian family. All dishes are freshly prepared and delicious! The staff is polite, welcoming, and truly connects with their guests! The La Paizza pizza, which I couldn't finish, was delivered in a box. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back!

A very nice family restaurant. There is space inside and outside with free parking nearby. The food is very tasty, one of the best pizzas I had in the Netherlands. Additionally they have a few Balkan dishes which are a must try. The only drawback are the slot machines in the corner which seem out of place

Very cozy and delicious food. Friendly people.

Beautiful ambiance, great atmosphere, hospitality, and above all, delicious and plentiful food! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again!

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend, and it was worth it. You can immediately taste the fresh, homemade dishes. Very friendly service and a beautiful setting. Fantastic!!

A cozy family restaurant with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere.

Super friendly staff and nice pizzas to go with!

Delicious food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Friendly people and very tasty food. The Balkan dishes are highly recommended.

We've lived in this village for a long time and had never been to La Piazza before, but tonight we did, and it was delicious. It was really worth it; the food was good and very tasty. The owner is working incredibly hard to make it even better, so feel free to pop in. You won't regret it. Excellent!!

Great food and everything fresh, nice atmosphere and good service. I would love to come back here!

Top service, great atmosphere Hamburger is my favorite

Always a nice and friendly welcome 👍

The Pizzas were good. The burgers were horrible. We returned the enitre dish minus a bite. And yet they charged us for that. Really disappointing. Not recommending this venue.

Delicious food with a creative twist! Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. The pizza was prepared perfectly and the desserts are a must-try. Well worth a visit!

Best cevapcici in the whole of the Netherlands. Very satisfied with service & quality.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, super nice place with very nice staff. I will definitely come back here!

Very friendly welcome and service. The food was delicious. Compliments to the chef, who can prepare simple dishes exceptionally tasty. The atmosphere was friendly, with respect for the guests

Very good food, the home-made Balkan specialties were our introduction to this friendly (and very close to home for us) family restaurant. Absolutely recommended.

Delicious cevapcici Friendly staff

Delicious food and great service.

Very good pizza at a reasonable price and good draft beer. Staff very friendly. What more do you need?

Four of us ate here. Very hospitable reception and service, excellent food and very reasonable prices. We will definitely come back here again!

Delicious pizza, nice wine. Friendly service

Well, you order a pepperoni pizza and you get pepperoni, onion and jalapeno... not what was included nor what you expected.

Awesome croatian food and very Kind people running this small Family busineee. Pizza was very good too!

Britney has helped us very good. She was very kind and knew our orders by head

I have to say, Google review is really trustable. We came here because we saw good reviews and we were not disappointed at all. We sat in their little patio in a beautiful evening, with fresh smell of all kinds of flowers, we got best pizza and fresh local beer. What a nice dinner experience here!

Excellent food, very friendly hosts!

People unbelievable, I ate here with my 2 children, we were on the ship at the pound, we walked about 3km here, what a delicious meal we had, it was not normal and it was very friendly and nicest. we were walking and it was raining we were taken back to board you don't experience this much anymore we will definitely come back the FOOD really SUPER

Delicious food! You can taste that the dishes are also fresh and homemade. Very friendly staff and clean place :) Recommended

Delicious food. Preliminary steak with meats, cheese, bread and olives. The spareribs fall off the bone as they should. Meal salad is well filled. Nice wine and nice prices.

Ate delicious pizzas. Very nice and friendly service and a clean place. All our pizzas arrived at the table at half past seven and at 10 to 7.

It is nice and cool inside due to air conditioning. Ate delicious pizzas. Highly recommended

The best Koue kebabs I've eaten in the Netherlands so far, I guess it will stay that way. All praise

Good cook and it is clean inside

Delicious food, spacious terrace, good service. Too bad you smoke (another man's cigarette) while eating!

Tasty and fresh food, cozy atmosphere, friendly owners who help in the business. Recommended.

Pizza is very good, value for money a little overpriced

Nice staff. I wanted a salad, it wasn't on the menu, but it was then made especially for me. Wonderfully fresh.

Now ordered from La Piazza for the 2nd time (online) and my experience the 1st time was no coincidence, again great! What delicious pizzas. Everything you expect from a pizza and more. Delicious top quality! Highly recommended.

Nice people, very hospitable. Food is good.

Very customer-friendly service and delicious freshly prepared food, definitely recommended!

Order at 6:03 PM, order delivered at 7:22 PM after calling 3 times. Still wrong too! I ordered pasta without bacon, but it did contain bacon. The delivery person was with us within 5 minutes, if only it could have happened as quickly as I ordered.

Really tasty, thin, crispy base, well topped and particularly worth mentioning, there were 2 good oils, chili or garlic, for you to season yourself. The pizza was big enough and the price was absolutely right. The staff was courteous and friendly, they even provided schnapps. Conclusion on the house, whatever there is less and less. We would like to come back.

Wonderful family who prepares the dishes in a fantastic way with love. Price-quality cannot be better. Great for enjoying something simple every now and then.

Nice service, simple menu, value for money

Hello, ordered 2 mozzarella pizzas, 1 with mushroom. These were delivered very quickly by a nice delivery person with a friendly smile. The pizza tasted very good, you can taste the quality. The price is great for such a quality pizza. Better than dominoes. Greetings

Very tasty cevapcici. Came all the way from Limburg for it. No regrets.

Excellent delivery service within 20 minutes. Extra toppings could easily be added. Only the pizza could be a little warmer

Delicious food. Very neat restaurant. Fun people. Chicken sandwich is highly recommended!!

Never had such a tasty hamburger before! 👍🏼

Delicious burgers, never tasted so good anywhere. Very good price-quality ratio, cozy atmosphere, very good service.

Delicious food, good price/quality ratio. Super friendly service. Will definitely eat here again

Delicious food for a friendly price. Very friendly service. It was quiet in the business, too bad. This business would deserve some more attention and business

Ordered here for the first time via home delivery. Menu is limited. Prices are normal. Delivery was right on time and the pizza was nice and warm. Taste was like a pizza should be. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! Small but cozy, the food tasted good. Friendliness a 10+.

Very neat shop and very good food, nice service, in short, highly recommended

Good food and friendly service. Ćevapčići in Alblasserdam. Couldn't be better.

Delicious food, we were surprised, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
