We stopped here for lunch on the way back from Kinderdijk. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a salad with Camembert.

After being in Kinderdijk we had a nice lunch here. On my own this time. Since it was Thursday, I had plenty of choice as to where I could sit. I had a Flatbread Deluxe with a 'Great White wheat beer on tap and a Spa blue. The Flatbread was slightly crispy and generously topped with carpaccio, a fried egg, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, parmesan cheese shavings and a little bit of balsamic vinegar. Tasty, fresh. The wheat beer too, I didn't know this one yet. Nice and fresh and fruity in taste. Wonderful with the warm weather. Furthermore, the service was also friendly, so certainly no complaints in that area.

Cozy restaurant. Only had a drink so I don't know what it tastes like, but it looked good.

Mooi ingericht, maar bijzonder slechte service. Thee met melk, komen ze met een glas melk, uitgelegd aan serveerster 1 maar toen kwam serveerster 2 met de vraag "u had toch een glas melk besteld"? Nee, ik wil graag een beetje koude melk in mijn thee. Grote zaak, mooi ingericht, maar op het aantal zitplaatsen slechts 1 heren- en damestoilet, hoe dan?

Cozy restaurant with a delicious selection of craft beer that changes regularly! You can view the refrigerator and they have an up-to-date beer menu. Recommended for lunch or dinner, especially if you can sit outside when the weather is nice.

Chose a simple, tasty dish for lunch and it was served beyond expectations. Have been here several times and it is recommended that everyone make a reservation here.

Ik kwam met een groep van 12 mensen (waaronder 2 kinderen van 5 en 8 jaar) om ca 18:30, reservering was 2 dagen eerder gemaakt. Personeel was aardig, wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen en het eten was in orde. Alleen kregen wij het eten pas om 19:50. Wij voelden ons vergeten, er was ook geen waarschuwing dat het langer zou duren. Wij zijn twee keer geweest vragen over waar het eten was, de tweede keer was ik boos geworden, dat was niet leuk. Kennelijk waren de redenen dat het lang duurde het volgende: het was druk en wij hebben geen voorgerecht besteld (direct hoofdgerecht). Zij deden hun best maar ik krijg de indruk dat zij niet grote groepen op drukke tijdstippen kunnen ontvangen.

We regularly eat at Damzicht restaurant, our favorite restaurant here in Alblasserdam. The staff is friendly, the food has never disappointed us and the atmosphere is cozy and cozy. Always enjoy it here!

Had an amazing meal at Damzicht for my birthday. The prices are very attractive and all courses of food are fantastic and top notch. I recommend everyone to have dinner at Damzicht, what a great place!

Came to the restaurant for a late lunch. Location is very cute, choice of food is very good - there are vegetarian options. Draft beer was nice and the burgers we ordered were tasty but very very filling. Service was not great but overall, quick and easygoing. I would recommend to stick to one plate for each person since portions are very big. Would come again also because the price was quite good.

Can no longer dine there cheaply

This restaurant was always very good in the past... but we found some of the meat dishes quite disappointing this time... also there were no fresh vegetables... only a portion of lettuce... unfortunately... that can happen sometimes... but it does. Too bad... if you go out to eat together for a birthday.

Aardige bediening ,prima service. Eten was voldoende, maar mis wel groente, alleen een heel klein bakje salade. Hiermee gevraagd maar de redden dat ze dit niet hebben dat het meestal niet gegeten op. Jammer,

Had dinner here for the first time with 8 people. Food was delicious and lots of it! Good service and normal prices. Nice atmosphere and decoration. Without any fuss, which you have in many other restaurants. The only minor downside was my small plate, I don't find it convenient to cut, but that is the only thing and certainly does not detract from the entire experience of eating here! Definitely recommended to eat here!

Had food delivered again and this time fantastic spare ribs and XL schnitzel so tender and delicious in taste. Delivery also exactly on time, normally everything is delivered, now I just forgot the warm vegetables, but this shouldn't spoil the fun, keep it up 👍👍👍

Wij famillie de Wit en Kamerman, komem hier al zo'n 16 jaar, blijft fantastisch.Eten is bourgondisch goed en meer als genoeg, kan altijd worden bijbesteld. Wij gaan altijd voor een avondje uit, blijven heel wat uurtjes. Klagers blijf je houden ieder zijn ding, maar als je niet reserveerd heb je bijna geen plek, dus zal best goed zijn toch. "het zoutmannetje"

Veel personeel heen en weer lopen langs de gasten dit komt mede dat de keuken in de kelder is dit ervaar als storend . Voor 2 personen was erg te weinig salade en gebakken aardappels. Tevens was het eten veel te zout. De kruidenboter was de was eveneens zout en geen roomboter. Het er erg warm in de ruimte en onze kleding had een etens lucht. Dit restaurant zal zich moeten verbeteren maar wij komen er niet meer

For the 4th time, a number of guesses remains

The service was rather long, we waited for the dishes around an hour. I chose “gebakken mosselen” and asked the waitress, what are the ingredients of the dish, the answer was: potatoes and a salad. I was very surprised to see bacon in the dish, as I was vegetarian and there was no mentioning of the bacon in the menu and by the waiter. In general the dishes are very oily and not to the restaurant level, very simple. It can not be said though about the price of the dish. The staff is welcoming and smiling, the whole atmosphere is nice.

Dopo un giro in bicicletta nel parco con i mulini pranziamo in questo ristorante ad Alblasserdam. Abbiamo pranzato nel dehor che si affaccia su una delle strade centrali della cittadina. Hamburger con carne speziata e salse di accompagnamento immangiabili. Dehor e tavoli un po' sporchi... Servizio cortese.

We had a delicious meal there. The buffet starters are fantastic. As a hobby chef who likes to cook for groups, I find the necessary inspiration in it. The main courses were fine but it was very busy and you noticed that. But everyone very satisfied. The desserts are of excellent quality. The service is fast, accurate and very friendly. In short, a very successful dinner and stay for a number of hours.

Lekker buiten gezeten op het terras. Prima prijzen voor wat je krijgt. Ruime keus aan lunch gerechten op de kaart. Let op; je bent niet de enige dus terras kan snel vol zitten.

The waitress brought out our $6.00 water and then we never saw her again even though it was mostly empty. Yea, I guess as Americans we want to at least order our food in less than a half hour.

Very good restaurant near the Kinderdijk mill site. We went there one afternoon and we were very well received by a young waiter. The dishes are good and plentiful, with a very attractive price.

We waren met 7 pers. Het duurde te lang met het opnemen van bestellingen en dus ook met het serveren van het eten. (Mandjes met stokbrood kregen we wel snel.) Duurde bijna een uur tot het voorgerecht op tafel kwam. Zo ook het hoofdgerecht. Toen we het eindelijk kregen, vergaten ze het eten van één persoon. Dat kwam later. We kregen de kaart van het nagerecht. De één kreeg blanco blaadjes en de ander kreeg de kaart van luch. Beetje onprofessioneel. Het nagerecht besteld maar er werd weer één persoon vergeten. Mevrouw zei dat het er aan kwam maar er kwam niets. Het eten smaakte wel aardig. Sfeer van het restaurant was niet fijn. De inrichting wat rommelig. De trap naar het toilet was spekglad. De eigenaar bleef steeds hangen bij vaste klanten. Personeel was wat koel. Wij zeiden gedag maar niemand zei iets terug. Voor ons geen Damzicht meer.

Excellent dishes arrive more attractive and well presented than the menu suggests. Young, willing, cheerful service. Table arrangement a bit awkward. Generous portions. Music wasn't really great. Lots of glass for an overview, not for the eye or the peace and quiet. And yet I'm going to spend an evening there. You're out but still at home. Ps. The smallest room requires a little more care
