La Place in Meerhoven

Very disappointing experience. I was not allowed to take a cup of water from the water dispenser to my table and was told to drink it on the spot. The staff were unfriendly. Not recommended.

Food was awesome and warm. I had an accident i dropped the soup and burn my fingeres, the staffs were genuinely helpful and made me feel better. Friendly and polite staffs. Atmosphere is cozy ans relaxing, can see the airplanes on the window.

Beef tenderloin for €22.95, the size of my thumbnail and as tender as a shoe sole. One was served with gravy, the other without. When we inquired, we received such an appallingly stupid and unfriendly response that I don't even want to repeat it here. I thought La Place had a decent reputation, but as far as we're concerned, once and never again. It was utterly disgraceful!

Very bad experience! They gave me the paging to wait food to be warm up. It took 15 minutes waiting. And finally the food was horrible, chicken cold and bad taste........

Considering there is a Pizza oven the Pizza is surprisingly bad. Tastes pretty much like a frozen pizza from the supermarket, I don't know how that happend, because I saw them prepare the pizza for me fresh. The view on the runway is spectacular though. I'd probably come again and try some other food.

When I walked in, I heard a young employee complaining loudly that the customers were the worst part of this job. They asked for matcha and oat milk. All in all, a very unprofessional experience, and there was no confidence in the quality of the food. The only good thing about the restaurant is the view.

I had lunch here after my arrival. Water is free with the meal and can be refilled after the glass. Self-service, you can also pay by card. There are various dishes on small "islands": pizzas, hamburgers, pomace are freshly baked. 2-3 types of soup are waiting for the guests in a warm holder, but the wide selection includes fresh sandwiches, smoothies, hot, cold drinks, cakes... There are plenty of seats and a super panoramic terrace, where you can watch the planes arrive and take off from one of the many seats. I had a delicious, thick, rich tomato soup, a huge sandwich and a Latte Macchiato for about 20 euros. And I lived perfectly well. It is also worth noting that there are mobile phone charging facilities at countless tables. There is a separate room next to the restaurant to the right in the corridor.

A quick breakfast before the flight. It's quite spacious and quiet for an airport. Everyone was friendly. The prices aren't cheap, of course, but a bit cheaper than downstairs, and it was delicious, as were the cappuccinos.

What a horror, really not recommended!

I had a sandwich and a cup of coffee here, and it was perfect! The best part was the friendly, enthusiastic gentleman at the checkout!!👌

wij bestelden 3 hamburgers met kaas en bacon en moesten daar ruim 40€ voor betalen. Maar daar leef het niet bij, want onderweg in het vliegtuig werden we alledrie ziek. Voedeselvergiftiging bleek later. Dat is vervelend, maar in een vliegtuig is braken en diaree dramatisch. Daarnaast was het al de tweede keer dat we ziek zijn geworden van eten in La Place p Eindhoven Airport. Het wordt tijd voor een inspectie van de voedsel en warenautoriteit

Everything looks good Nice view

We ate here before our flight. It's a nice place to grab a bite to eat and drink before our trip. We had the grilled salmon and chicken satay, along with two drinks, and spent €50 (!!!), which I find ridiculous for La Place. The fries were good, the salmon and chicken satay were good, but not great for the price. The salad had no dressing; it contained two pathetic pieces of tomato, a piece of chili pepper, and a piece of bell pepper. The price-quality ratio is simply not right here.

Nice food, very fair prices for an airport, great runway views on the terrace. Above all, very helpful staff and management that recovered my suit I had forgotten here and kept it safe for me until I returned from my trip. Thank you again!

Last night I was at La Place at Eindhoven airport. We got there at 7.40 pm, just before closing time. I would have understood if there hadn't been much left, because we were just before closing time, but this was not the case. Instead, unfortunately, all the bins were completely empty and the staff was already cleaning. Fortunately, there was nothing left to eat, because there was just a mouse (yes, you heard that right, vermin) running around in the Efteling play corner for kids. The staff responded very nonchalantly to this. Very worrying.

Comfortable seats, good coffee, and Ciacho – what more could you need to relax after wandering around on trains and buses? A good place to stop during your journey. I recommend the apple pie with honeyed nuts. Prices are reasonable, but it's quite busy, as is typical for an airport. The place is located on the first floor, so it's easy to miss. I only managed to find it on my fourth visit. The staff speaks English, and my Polish Visa card went through without a problem.

Nice place to wait for your flight. Use it more often. Relaxing environment before the hustle and bustle of your trip.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was tasty and fresh, and the service is good - helpful & kind! What I particularly liked was the atmosphere with all that natural light coming in. It makes it a great spot if you want to read on your laptop or get some work done. The place has a cozy café feel, and there are enough outlets around for charging, which is always convenient. I've been here a few times now and always have a good experience. One small thing they could improve: the tables with cracks need a bit more attention during cleaning - noticed some breadcrumbs stuck in there which isn't ideal. Overall though, it's become one of my regular spots!

Excellent service but the food sometimes leaves something to be desired.

Little variety and exorbitant prices, the glory days of La Place are clearly in the distant past. Salad with overfried vegetables had some flavor.

A portion of fries costs 6 euros and there is no salt on it. Cream cheese sandwich is very sparsely topped. The glory days of La Place are in the past. I still got some food at the AH to go.

Overnachting in Tulip Inn. Pizza besteld in La Place. Ongeveer 20min moeten wachten dus heel normaal. Verse ingrediënten, lekkere pizza. Bar gesloten maar drank mogelijk via flesjes selfservice. Tafels worden vaak niet afgeruimd door klanten (kan La Place niet aan doen) maar de lege tafels worden ook niet afgekuisd. Wel voor herhaling vatbaar

The service was awful, very arrogant and disrespectful. The coffee was burnt, tasted like charcoal.

Way too expensive for the quality it offers

I love to find a nice cafe in airport and wait for the flight and this cafe was the nice one. Their sweets are good and cafe is great too. I liked atmosphere too, has window view to airplanes or inside area, or even children area. We took strawberry croissant and tart, I liked the cream. I liked the design inside too, very stylish and a lot of greens.

Food is cold, bad and expensive. Staff is not interested in the customer. Arguing where you are. They often do not speak Dutch and English is not good either.

If you like mice in food, this is the right place to be🐀🐁🐀🐁! The management did not even deign to respond to complaint email, this is probably nothing irregular to them.

We dachten even een lekker ontbijt te pakken voor onze vlucht. Maar ondanks dat la place om 05.00 geopend is was er niks te kiezen. We vroegen aan de medewerkster of we een broodje kaas konden bestellen (ze was broodjes aan het smeren) maar nee, mevrouw had paniek en dat kon niet. Zelfs een plakje ham door kaas vervangen was niet mogelijk. Hoop dat mevrouw haar dienst niet net begonnen was, anders wacht haar nog een lange dag… Trieste bedoeling.

The food was not great. The bolognese was salty and tasted sour. Pizza / burgers were ok. Overall not worth for the price.

They charge 4€ for water with little bit of mint, and when i took bag of tea she charged me more 3 € more!, not normal

Si bien ni siquiera está lleno de gente, he pedido una pizza y tomó una hora de retraso para una Margharita. La gente ha sido servida antes que yo, mientras que han hecho su pedido mucho después que yo. Hay un gran problema en la organización del Pizzaiolo. Es un aeropuerto de comida rápida, literalmente tenemos vuelos que coger... si hay un retraso entonces mejor que nos avisen antes de tomar nuestro pedido.

Had een pizza Margarita besteld. Lang moeten wachten. Na een tijdje was hij toch klaar maar hij was veel te lang gebakken en helemaal uitgedroogd. Andere pizza’s die ik nadien zag passeren net hetzelfde verhaal. Niet aan te raden!

Ordered pizza. Had to wait a long time and completely dehydrated. Just don't eat cardboard. Service is slow.

There are mice running around here between the tables and flower pots. When we communicated this to the employees, they just said that there was nothing they could do about it. Disgusting!!!

Asked for a sandwich and a strawberry tart. The place was ok and comfortable for waiting my flight.

Mistaking the order, sending people from person to person, waiting for 25 minutes, the food is cold, the cook approaches the table and informs that the food is ready and you have to pick it up, where in two minutes the next table is served and delivered to the table by the same cook. I do not recommend it to anyone!

Delicious loaded fries with chicken. We came for dinner around 7:00 PM, and it was nice and quiet.

Vlak voor een concert daar gegeten, jammer dat niemand daar meer hard heeft voor de zaak. Het duurde even voor we aan de beurt waren, dat kan gebeuren. We bestelden een hamburger, hamburger caprese, een kleine friet en 2 cola. We moesten eerst 29 euro afrekenen en na 10 minuten mochten we het ophalen. Toen ik het kwam ophalen was het nog niet klaar. Op de grill lagen onze burger te fikken. Toen ik er wat van zei hoorde ik dat dat zo hoort. De zwartgeblaakerde burger ging op het bolletje en werden weg gezet want de friet moest nog gebakken worden..... De bijna koude burger en kleine stukjes friet kreeg ik mee. Wat een aanfluiting. De andere gasten moesten op dit alles wachten want eerst moest mijn bestelling klaar. Hier komen wij niet meer terug.

There were lots of sand in my salad. They dont wash the greens for sure. What a pity considering the amount you pay for a sandy salad

This is my most favorite place at Eindhoven airport.I wish other airports would come up with fresh food ideas. I normally have the soup with sausage ,but have also tried the pork shank and today the pizza and cannot recommend it enough

Got here around dinnertime and there’s 3 people working and everything is empty. We got a toastie and focaccia that I’m pretty sure have been lying under a heat lamp for quite a bit, basically nothing else to be gotten here.

Avoid at all costs - Worst case of Food Poisoning ever. Without doubt, the worst case of food poisoning I have EVER had, and I don’t say that lightly. I got horrific Food Poisoning from this restaurant. I was violently ill for three days, and my stomach isn’t back to normal yet. I had vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, a high fever, and terrible stomach cramps. I didn't know a person could get so sick from food that didn't taste bad in any way. It was obviously severely contaminated. Management showed no concern or empathy which is appalling considering they have a duty of care to customers. I would urge you to Avoid this restaurant unless you want to become seriously ill.

Great for a sandwich. Staff friendly and you can sit comfortably there. Outside terrace with excellent views. Fun for children to watch the planes.

Great service and decent selection of fresh food

Hamburgers cooked way too long. No truffle to be found in the truffle hamburger. Cheese on the bacon cheese burger was so fried that it was almost impossible to do. Fries too cold. So totally worthless. Never again.

Buy 2 fries with hamburger and 1 coke for 35 euros. First fries cold go back see that person fries from my plate of food throw it back in the fryer get it back half the plate of fries fried 3 times and the other half not even cooked .really really bad

At 7.15 pm we wanted to have something to eat. Unfortunately, almost everything was already gone. No more sandwich available. With a lot of effort, another portion of fries with rendang was made. There's a young lady standing at the cash register who just strikes something. If you confront her about it after you've walked back to check the price, "oh yeah, that's what I thought." I know it's hard to get staff, but this lady better do something else.

Slow service and the salads are not fresh!

More than fair prices, great atmosphere, great design. And they have some very comfortable chair.

Before getting through customs, is oké to eat. Watch the service; one guy took our order and then quit his service but never passed our order on to his colleagues. I asked them about our food after some time and they apologized and took care of our order. Quality of the burger and pizza are good.

came here last Wednesday for breakfast. staff were just barely sighing to have to work. Choice and quality poor and the cups for coffee were dirty. all still with deposits of tea and coffee. Bah. The quality used to be much better.

Ordered Bacon Hamburger with Fries. Then get a cold vegan burger, with fries. Fries were as limp as a dishcloth. They wanted to re-fry the fries. Finally new fries and a real hamburger. Terribly bad. And the prices don't make any sense at all. So not recommended. It's better to have a snack at the hotel bar. That's across the street.

I the quality is as you might expect, just very overpriced. As people are here to fly, they may be a little on edge. Sometimes, people just stay at the table for an hour after finishing their meal, not allowing others to sit for theirs. Overpriced just like everything at the airport

We had a good and relaxing time here waiting for our flight. We ordered two small soups (for 10.5 euros). It was delicious (heerlijk in dutch 😉). This branch has a direct view to the airport and you can enjoy your food while people unboarding to their flights. If you ever in Eindhoven airport, highly recommend to catch your breath here!

Absolutely awful! The restaurant was almost empty and still we had to wait almost one hour for one burger! After 20 minutes went and asked. And was told something went wrong with a previous order. No wonder when I observed the inefficient way they were working. Ended up waiting almost 40 more minutes before we finally got the burger, no apologies or anything. At the airport people have flights to catch! Never again!

Op zich prima eten maar met 4 klanten wachtend op een hamburger een wachttijd van een half uur.... bij de pizza's idem, het gaat allemaal zo inefficiënt. Dan maar een broodje, die zijn als altijd lekker evenals de soep. De medewerkers zijn niet onvriendelijk maar een beetje training zou welkom zijn. Het is goed maar niet uitstekend. De prijzen overigens ook niet. Waarom een slaatje moeten slaan uit de enige plek waar je hier op EIN wat kunt eten?

Had something to eat from this restaurant while waiting for return flight after a weekend away in Eindhoven . Can honestly say it was the best food we had the entire weekend and not too expensive. The chef/server was very pleasant and helpful. Well worth a visit.

I can’t really speak about anything bar tea. I was charged 3.6 euros for a couple of mint leaves in a cup filled up up with boiling water. When I came back asking for a refill with boiling water. I was rejected by a manager and told that I need to pay again the same price to get the boiling water refilled. It’s nothing major but when I asked cashier if it was reasonable as per her opinion and whether she would be willing to pay that money herself she said “No”. Felt like the place was a bit stingy

Un lugar perfecto donde esperar a tu vuelo, tienen muchos enchufes para cargar tus aparatos electrónicos y las pizzas están buenísimas, preparadas delante del cliente y en el horno de leña, a un precio muy competitivo. El personal es muy simpático. No me pareció bien el precio de las bebidas, muy caras.

Good value for money. Many food options: soups, salads, burgers, pizza, fruit or vegetable coktails, cakes, tea and coffee.

Great airport restaurant. Lots of choice: 🍔🥩🍝🍕🥗and everything is freshly made in front of you. Just take care that you’ve got time - otherwise choose one of the sandwiches or a soup instead.

Redelijk eten, pizza was prima. Burger niet bijzonder. Wel veel onervaren personeel...krijg je helaas met de tekorten in de horeca.

Prima eetgelegenheid. Vriendelijk personeel. Mijn geval pizza gegeten; top, erg smakelijk. Saladebar vond ik wat karig.

Muy amplio y con estupendas vistas a las pistas del aeropuerto. La comida variada y buena. Las pizzas te las hacen a tu gusto y delante tuyo. También te haces tu propia ensalada. Muy bien.

Altijd lekkere broodjes maar wel 20% duurder dan bij andere vestigingen. Je kan hier niet je member voordelen halen.

Heerlijke pizza's bij deze La Place (Eindhoven Airport). Persoonlijk vind ik ze hier lekkerder dan bij een Italiaans pizza restaurant. Ingrediënten zijn vers en indien nodig in vocht bewaard. Alles perfect van deeg tot uiteindelijke pizza uit een echte steenoven. Goede bereiding (geen uitgedroogde pizza's). Mijn complimenten aan de Italiaanse chef en zijn team. Graci! Het was heerlijk 🙂

Vieze en dure koffie, ik proef alleen bitter, geen koffiesmaak. En het was nog wel cappuccino. Nu snap ik waarom het beneden bij Starbucks veel drukker was. Het personeel is wel vriendelijk in tegenstelling tot eerdere berichten.

Very fresh and tasty food! I would recomend Caprese Salad, which is served with pasta, smoothies, pizzas and especially quinoa burger! Tastes delicious!
