Worthless food and even worse service! Just ordered a durum during our stay at a hotel, but what a disaster. The durum itself was completely inedible: soaking wet, incredibly limp, and so damp that it stuck entirely to the aluminum foil. When I carefully tried to unroll it, the whole thing fell apart immediately. It looked like a wet washcloth; truly inedible. When we called about this, we were given a string of excuses. It was claimed that our phone number was unavailable and that the delivery person "had been waiting for half an hour." A blatant lie: we were actually just sitting in the hotel lobby and saw the delivery person walk right in. So the food certainly didn't sit there for half an hour; it was simply very poorly prepared. To top it all off, the employee on the phone said that we "shouldn't have it delivered then, but pick it up instead." If you say that about your own delivery service as a business, you are really shooting yourself in the foot. I don't even need a new durum anymore, but I just want my money back for this poor performance. We are never ordering from here again!

Not the most authentic gyros but it was alright

Very disappointing experience at Grand Café Place du Nord – rude owner During my visit to Grand Café Place du Nord in Eindhoven, I was unpleasantly surprised by the policy regarding toilet use. They charge no less than €1 for using the toilet if you pay in cash, and €1.60 if you pay by card. When I indicated in a calm and polite manner that I found this to be on the high side, the owner became extremely unfriendly. Instead of a normal conversation, I received an angry reaction and was ordered to leave the restaurant. To me, such a way of treating customers is unacceptable. You go somewhere not to be treated like a nuisance. The owner does not seem open to feedback and immediately goes on the defensive – in a way that you, as a customer, absolutely do not find pleasant. If you want to be treated kindly, I recommend visiting another café in Eindhoven. Unfortunately, you feel anything but welcome here.

The chicken sandwich was well made.

What terribly rude, arrogant staff there! On July 31st at 10:30, I wanted to order a chicken sandwich... "That wasn't possible," she said, because the sandwiches were still warm and I couldn't cut them open. I had to come back in half an hour...hahaha, and do you think I'm going to do that?? NO, of course not!! I said you're open at 10, right? Then you have to make sure the sandwiches are ready, right?! But you can't get a sandwich until 11, while it's supposed to be from 10. The lady said that if I knew that well, I should come work there myself! And Wow, wow, wow...and that's the staff there? Please throw them out! You're not going to win the war with this, and you're definitely not going to make any money!!! One star is wayyyyyy too much!!!
