La Place Express in Centrum

What terribly rude, arrogant staff there! On July 31st at 10:30, I wanted to order a chicken sandwich... "That wasn't possible," she said, because the sandwiches were still warm and I couldn't cut them open. I had to come back in half an hour...hahaha, and do you think I'm going to do that?? NO, of course not!! I said you're open at 10, right? Then you have to make sure the sandwiches are ready, right?! But you can't get a sandwich until 11, while it's supposed to be from 10. The lady said that if I knew that well, I should come work there myself! And Wow, wow, wow...and that's the staff there? Please throw them out! You're not going to win the war with this, and you're definitely not going to make any money!!! One star is wayyyyyy too much!!!

We wanted a simple meal after shopping because we would visit a concert immediately afterwards. The meal was okay. The staff did their best. Furthermore, the food was good.

Horrible guy who bakes the pizza. Had to wait 50 min for 1 pizza. Working so slowly was not normal. Pizza was terribly greasy.

Poor quality, terrible service, and ridiculously high prices. This place in the Heuvelgalerie is best avoided completely. Unbelievably bad.

Wow, what a disappointment! Not so long ago, a sandwich at LA Place was a real treat. For starters, their famous chicken sandwich is no longer available; instead, they have a chicken sandwich with pesto. The sandwich itself is half the size it was a few months ago. The bread was bone dry, and the chicken and pesto had no flavor. This was my husband's sandwich. I opted for a tuna sandwich instead. This sandwich was also halved in size and bone dry. The tuna salad, which used to have a little flavor like an apple, was also nowhere to be found. A snippet of red onion and a sprig of greenery—oh yeah, and tuna, that was it. Disappointment all around for sandwiches that cost around 5 euros.

Duur. En sinds kort nog duurder. De panini broodjes smaken op zich wel, maar ik kan dit toch echt niet aanraden.

De koffie is lekker maar eten doe ik liever ergens anders.
