Mr. Kebab in Oud-Gestel

Worthless food and even worse service! Just ordered a durum during our stay at a hotel, but what a disaster. The durum itself was completely inedible: soaking wet, incredibly limp, and so damp that it stuck entirely to the aluminum foil. When I carefully tried to unroll it, the whole thing fell apart immediately. It looked like a wet washcloth; truly inedible. When we called about this, we were given a string of excuses. It was claimed that our phone number was unavailable and that the delivery person "had been waiting for half an hour." A blatant lie: we were actually just sitting in the hotel lobby and saw the delivery person walk right in. So the food certainly didn't sit there for half an hour; it was simply very poorly prepared. To top it all off, the employee on the phone said that we "shouldn't have it delivered then, but pick it up instead." If you say that about your own delivery service as a business, you are really shooting yourself in the foot. I don't even need a new durum anymore, but I just want my money back for this poor performance. We are never ordering from here again!

I ordered a pizza on Thursday and have been throwing up since yesterday. I feel very sick and have a high fever; simply put, don't get anything here, but by the looks of it, I'm not the only one.

I ordered a durum doner and received a wrap without meat; instead of the meat, I got fries and vegetables in a wrap. Unacceptable.

You can order via everything but You will never receive it and even dont get info about that . Second time I order food by app when restaurant its soon closed , accept order and then don’t give f.. . No call no info just 2 h waiting for nothing ;)

I've ordered food there twice now, paid twice via Uber, and they come to my door with the order and say I have to pay cash; it's just ridiculous.

“Three days ago I placed an order with Mr. Kebab. The food was only delivered after 2.5 hours and, moreover, was cold when it arrived. I find this truly outrageous. I do not recommend anyone order from here again.” When we called them, it took us 10 attempts to get through, and on top of that, we received an inconsiderate response.

Don’t know about the other negative reviews, but my honest opinion: These guys make quite delicious kapsalons & dönerbox ❤️ Also, with late-night cravings, they are quite handy since the deliveries are open until a bit past midnight.

A dump that uses ingredients from ALDI and a delivery guy from their own ranks who doesn't speak good Dutch. It is lukewarm, watery farts that a half-blind butcher could prepare better. Absolutely not recommended for anyone with taste buds. Never need anything from there again. Good luck, guys. H.

I waited over 1.5 hours and still never received my food. When I called the restaurant for help, instead of trying to resolve the issue, they told me to “learn Dutch because you live in the Netherlands.” Extremely rude and unprofessional customer service. Very disappointing experience overall.

Delivery took 2 hours... but you do click in the app that it's on its way to avoid getting banned... don't answer the phone... don't adjust the time... and no sauces included, never again, definitely not recommended.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been served such disgusting food somewhere. Normally, when I’m hungry, I eat anything, but I left this one untouched after tasting it. The lahmacun was falling apart from misery, tasted awful, and looked like it had been sitting there for a while. The healthy pita sandwich had a mountain of genuinely filthy lettuce and carrots on it that would scare you; otherwise, there was nothing to taste. The garlic sauce didn't even taste a hint of garlic anywhere. That was all I had; I waited 65 minutes for this, even though they’re just around the corner.

I waited exactly 2 hours for my food, and eventually the delivery person called asking if I could come downstairs to pick it up. I have ordered from you often, but I think this is the last time. It would have been polite to send a text message to let you know there was a delay; then there would have been no problem. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone, even though I seriously tried to call about 8 times.

The order took more than 3 hours to arrive. Additionally, the company was unreachable by phone. Very poor!

You order a “Lamachun with salad AND döner” and 2 containers of garlic sauce via Thuisbezorgd at 19:51 with a delivery time of 20-45 minutes (EVEN their own site stated a delivery time of 35 minutes!!), if only that were true. Immediately after ordering, it was visible that the expected delivery time was 1.5 hours, even though this wasn't stated before ordering. Because of this, you want to call the restaurant to ask what's what. But no, the phone is “busy.” Okay, then you can call again later, right? No, the phone remains busy. The “Whatsapp number” listed for this company in Google is also NOT in use. Eventually, you keep calling every few minutes but just can't get through. Around 20:59, your food finally arrives; this is earlier than the order time THEY adhere to, but almost half an hour later than the time you placed the order. Well, the döner that was supposed to be on it was nowhere to be found; in fact, it wasn't there at all. It's a shame that you have the option to order both with and without döner, when you don't get any döner with either option anyway. The only positive thing was that the note you made (requesting no tomato or onion) was actually honored. This was definitely one of those "once and NEVER again" experiences.

It's a shame to write this because I don't usually give such a rating, but in this case I have to. The kebab was so old, the fries were dry, the salads stayed on the kebab for an hour. I ordered the Kapsalon with chicken, and that was the last time. Unfortunately, the positive reviews on other platforms were pointless for me. We ordered three kebabs, and each one was poor. Maybe they're better locally, but I wouldn't recommend it for takeout. After a few bites, we decided to throw most of them in the trash. The promotions encouraged us, and the positive reviews on other platforms, but it wasn't worth it.

I got kebab here for the first time last night. The place didn't look particularly tidy. Prices were normal for this time. The döner kebab itself was mediocre. No second time for me.

After an hour-long wait, our food arrived. This is rather long, considering it's only a five-minute drive. The food was lukewarm or cold, but otherwise tasty. The fries, which I paid €5 for, were limp and soggy, and the portion was small. They do pay close attention to what you write in your order.

Scammers. Ordered through Uber Eats. I waited until an hour and a half after the delivery time. I called several times to ask where my order was. It was "in transit." Eventually, they said it was canceled. Apparently not, because Uber Eats simply shows it as delivered. They never delivered anything, but I lost my money. According to Uber, my order isn't eligible for a refund. What nonsense. Disgraceful service. I never received anything.

Very disappointed with my recent experience ordering from Mr. Kebab. The delivery driver went to the wrong address and, despite me clearly explaining the correct location over the phone, he refused to come to the right place. I had to walk five minutes in the rain to retrieve my order. On top of that, the driver was rude, and when I called the restaurant to report the issue, the owner was dismissive and unhelpful. Sadly, this wasn’t an isolated incident — it’s the second time this has happened. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority. I won’t be ordering from Mr. Kebab again.

Love the food, always quik at the door and friendly, i order here for 10 years now and if i ask for anything to be separate for the kids its always done. If i ever had a complain the always fixed it quik and where nice about it.

Unfortunately I got extremely sick after eating my chicken doner pizza. Food poisoning says the doctor.

Should of ordered a lettuce kebab, would of got more meat. Literally the absolute minimum dregs of chicken given. I asked for more sauce to add flavour and they gave me some, it was also tasteless, but at least the gave it for free.

The food is delicious and hot upon delivery. Friendly treatment of customers, both upon delivery and in the restaurant.

I asked if they could ring the doorbell at my house and they arranged it very politely and in a friendly manner. A really large pizza for quite a low price if you look at other places and a very nice man on the phone. Also very tasty. Loved it 10/10 for me! Plus I got a sauce for free.

Super fast delivery during the late hours. Order was here in 20 minutes after ordering and the food was exactly what I expected.

We waited almost 25 minutes for 3 buns with shoarma. We don’t have the issue with a waiting but the food. When you order special shoarma you expect full bun of meat and veggies, they made a salad out of it. After 2 bites, bun full of only veggies.

On the app it was saying that the food was being prepared while it was on the door handle for 1 hour. Kebabs were not so good either especially after being on the cold for 1 hour. Me and my friends ordered food. Slowly, everyone started leaving the house. Soon enough we understood why. We all were sent with serpantine 💣🎉. I do recommend if you are having a tough time to get your intestine to “work”.

I have never eaten such a thin, poorly filled durüm döner as at this kebab shop, and even ask for the top price of €8. I know many other restaurants where you can really enjoy a meal (read: two and a half times as much) for the same amount of money. My girlfriend's pizza was fine by the way. Take an example from other kebab shops, go and have a look there, I would say. You can't sell this like this.

I have tried a variety of items (doner kebab, kapsalon, wraps) from the restaurant, and the quantity and taste of each item is great! Each time I order from Mr Kebab, I am left very satisfied. The prices are also very attractive compared to other outlets. I found the delivery service very friendly and understanding as well.

What an antisocial thing this is! You order food they tell you it could take 1 hour! In the end it takes 2 hours. You ask the delivery person if this is normal and you immediately get a big mouthful! That you should be happy that your food is there at all! And half of the deliveries were also delivered incorrectly! If a business owner treats his customers this way, you should do something else with your life! NOT NORMAL THIS!
