The young men who work there are very friendly and attentive to the customer. The food is delicious.

The food was decent, but barely better than a snack bar. Pizzas weren't available. Beautiful space, but the tables weren't clean. Very few guests at 6 p.m. on a Thursday, and I understand why. Perhaps it would be better during the day for lunch or a cup of coffee, but this disappointed me.

They don't even offer breakfast, like a sandwich in the morning. They do offer a full lunch with soup.

Just went to drink some latte specials and they were very tasty and the staff were also super friendly!!

Neat and clean. Price/quality out of balance. A cup of cappuccino and a glass of hot chocolate are more expensive than a slice of apple pie 🍏-🍰 or something else. Both the coffee and the 🥧 are of good quality.

Sandwiches are delicious. Tomato soup is just like tomato puree.

A truly terrible La Place. While the staff are friendly, the manager is a rude woman; it's simply not enjoyable to eat here. We arrived with a social deal code just before 3 p.m., and she came running at us, irritated, and told us we'd just have to pay ourselves. Once and never again.

Familiar formula. Slightly nondescript location.

On the way home, we stopped for a bite to eat and this time we ended up at La Place in Harderwijk. Upon arrival around 7:00 PM (after the Saturday rush), the staff was still very unmotivated. There wasn't much choice left, no chicken legs and no salad. A shame. So we went for satay, fries, and a salad for €18.75! Without mayo, that cost extra. Together we spent over €41 for a burger with satay, fries, and a drink each. After a while, the food arrived, and we tried to find cutlery at the service table. There were no forks or knives left. We asked for staff, and finally someone showed up with two forks. They didn't refill the whole container at once. They also forgot the salad on my plate, but I didn't make a big deal about it. I was done with it. No more La Place for us. It's a shame, because the meat on the burger and satay was good. But otherwise, it didn't leave a very positive impression.

The clearing belt was completely full, and the ladies' restrooms were filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. We won't be returning.

Awesome. Super big and super clean. On my way to Drenthe and a stop in Hardewijk at La Place. Easy exit and right at La Place; they had everything they needed. Grabbed a cup of coffee and a cheese roll and then continued on. Superb. Definitely recommended.

Place was a bit dirty, lot of dishes lingering on empty tables. Belt for dishes was completly full so no place to place your tray after eating. Very dissapointed with the matcha latte, like you vould barely even make out wether it was milk or an actual matcha latte. I mean they have a bottle of ready made concentrated matcha they just squirt a little into some hot milk, with standard added vanilla syrup. If you are going to use a concentrated ready made matcha, at least make sure it is really well blended (no bits like on pic), ad keep it refrigerated. The taste gets altered at room temperature. Secondly dont use a flavoured sweetner in the latte. You wouldnt be able to taste the matcha at all, and please either use more water or up the dose of the matcha. The milk matcha ratio is off.

We didn't want to have breakfast at home for a while. So off we went to La Place. The chopped bread was made and delivered with our bare hands. The yogurt wasn't there. Neither was the boiled egg. And yes, making hot drinks larger wasn't an option. All in all, it was a meager breakfast. I had expected a bit more.

It was 9:45 and they weren't open yet. Someone came outside, apologizing that they wouldn't open until 10:00 due to staff shortages due to vacation. But we were allowed in early, even though everyone was still busy. How sweet!

Delicious lunch! The sandwich was freshly made.

Beautiful, spacious location. The people at the cash register are very friendly. For people who are easily irritated by sound, it is an intense location when it is busy. Because of the high ceiling, all sounds echo quite a bit.

A bit early for a business appointment so had a coffee with something nice. Was quite early and then already tables that were not cleared and that is a pity. Because otherwise a neat restaurant with friendly staff. The coffee cake was very tasty and the coffee nice and hot.

I'm a bit shocked by the negative reviews people give. Order breakfast and this is what we get. Doesn't fit on the tray, no problem at all, the cashier just walks along and carries what doesn't fit on the tray. Plenty of parking outside, the space is clean and tidy, enough seating, toilet is clean and fresh. Neat floor, pets are welcome...what more could you want. Well, bought the egg myself, separately from the menu :)

In short: - staff is more busy with themselves than with customers - pizza could not be made at the end of the afternoon, only in the evening. Never experienced this before at a la place restaurant. - ordered sandwich could not be made by staff, they asked me as a customer how it should be made - clearing belt for the trays was not on, which caused a pile-up of trays with empty plates - table and chairs were not clean

Wanted to have a small lunch here just a sandwich ... and or with a soup ....but saw that the sandwiches were 'open and exposed' and there were flies on them ... that is not inviting .... I quickly changed my mind and therefore just had a bowl of salad ... when I indicated at the cash register what I had noticed, the young lady said: we can make a new sandwich for you ... very sweet .... But now I went for my salad ... furthermore a nice space and a clean toilet ... hope for all future guests that you have done something with the suggestion (to cover the sandwiches?)

La Place Harderwijk: A culinary kamikaze experience Oh, La Place Harderwijk, where to begin with this gastronomic disaster flight? Upon entering, we were greeted by a tray dilemma that would give Sherlock Holmes a headache. Clean trays? They were apparently on holiday. The leftovers of previous guests were stuck on them as if they were holding an exhibition: “Kunst van de Kliekjes”. The crew consisted of a battalion of youngsters who looked like they had just parked their skateboards. Management? Responsibility? Those words were clearly not in their dictionary. It was an anarchist teenage soap opera, but without a script or director. Then the food. The satay was an insult to every Indonesian grandmother: one measly stick of chicken fillet so tough that my jaws are now on strike. The soup? It was served with a free obstacle course: a floor so dirty and wet that we had to do our best moonwalk to keep from falling. Michelin star for slippery conditions, anyone? Cutlery was a quest in itself. After a long search, a dishwasher bin with “clean” cutlery appeared, casually tossed down as if we were in an episode of Punk’d. Neatly placing it in the cutlery bin? Nah, that’s for amateurs. The green smoothie tasted like someone had blended the lawn behind the restaurant with a dash of desperation. The orange juice? A pit war in your mouth – I still have PTSD from spitting it up. And the salad bar? Half empty, with a selection so uninspired that even a rabbit would sigh with boredom. The toilets were a different story. Dirty, messy, and with a smell you won’t soon forget – and not in a good way. The hand-drying paper was so thin you wondered if it was even paper, and the machine reluctantly dispensed it, as if it had a personal vendetta. After a five-minute struggle, you had a sliver of paper that couldn’t even dry a wet pinky. And then the cash register moment, the highlight of this comedy. The boy behind the counter decided to channel his inner circus artist and, with unexpected flair, shot the cap of a chocolate milk bottle straight into my already sad green smoothie. Splash. Congratulations, La Place, you just invented the first smoothie-milkshake crossover. No one asked for it, but we got it anyway. La Place Harderwijk, you are the Fyre Festival of roadside restaurants. Next time I'll bring a sandwich from home. Or a snorkel, in case the floor is even wetter.

There was almost nothing left to eat, the staff was talking to each other, said nothing about the food (that it would be made, that something was finished, or something like that) and the tables had not been cleaned. It was just the middle of the day. The soup and salad that we could scrape together were certainly good to eat! One of the soups was lukewarm though.

Had a bad experience. On the receipt 2 dishes too many and 1 too few. After some effort it could be solved, a 'sorry for the inconvenience' could not be given. Furthermore: Sandwich was soaked with mozzarella and the take-away pager did not go off, so the food was cooling down nicely.

They open at 8 a.m., and by 8:30, there was no breakfast ready, just old cake from the day before. The employee wasn't awake yet, and the other employee was making orange juice, but he wasn't in the mood for it. When I asked when they were serving breakfast, they just said, "It's later." That's not customer-friendly.

Even if you open in the morning and nothing is offered except cake. The young man just said, "We're opening now." Okay, but not having a roll or anything else when you open in the morning is embarrassing. I haven't seen anything like that at any of the other branches. Liefdeloos eten, enorme berg friet met net-gare saté en rare satésaus. De salade was erg koud en matige kwaliteit. Er was weinig aandacht aan besteed en nogal op het bord gekwakt.

What a sad affair. Employees are uninterested and if you ask something you are not helped properly. No hospitality. There is very little food to choose from. The salad bar is useless. A few roasted vegetables, a kind of couscous and another salad but not much choice either. The asparagus soup did not look good (as if it had been simmering for hours) but chose the tomato soup which was not tasty, very sour and paid 6.70 for a bowl of tomato soup with nothing and no taste! The toasted sandwiches were cold but burnt (a clever combination). Inside almost all Tables were dirty while there was hardly anyone sitting! I say go one door further but this is really bad on All levels! Expensive, bad staff and not tasty and little choice!

Nice restaurant. We stopped for a quick bite. We wanted to eat something healthier than a MAC or KFC. Unfortunately the choice was limited.

On the way to the funeral we had a coffee and a sandwich. Were a bit early but we were allowed in, thank you.

Wanted to have a bite to eat there during a trip. Very small portions and also relatively expensive. 8.50 euros for a sandwich with some lettuce and a little filet American. 1.10 for a small dollop of whipped cream with the (frozen) pastry. Too expensive for what you get. Empty shelves. Toilet etc. fancy and fine. Staff fine. But a store formula and thus ignore the store and go for a bite to eat somewhere else. More value for money.

Chicken satay eaten with fries. I thought it was nice, but the chicken had spent many flying hours and was very tough. Drinking glasses also not sober with leftover orange peel pieces in them. Been there before, when it was also stale bread with tuna salad. I'll skip this thing, next time I'll eat around the corner from that cockatoo.

Great place to stop on a long drive. The cappuccino was fine. Lots of choice of different delicacies. A little more attention to the tables (veet tables with crumbs from previous visitors) and the 5th star can also be given 😄

The short stop is a very good address. The apple pie with nuts was very tasty and was a good way to bridge the waiting time at the supercharger.

We had soup (€6.4), ok you can take extra, but still pricey for a small bowl. The croutons were to die for. Then we had pizza and we left more than half of it because it really wasn't tasty. The man at the cash register was friendly, but that's the only positive thing about our visit. Then we went to Burger King to satisfy our hunger.

Eating honestly is not okay We order a hamburger sandwich And honestly you can also go to McDonald's or KFC across the street It's the 2nd time we've been here, but honestly it wasn't. It's situated near a highway and good for a quick meal. The staff is young and not very friendly. Hopefully, as they gain experience, they will be able to be more client orientated. Food is delicious, and I love the atmosphere.

Not such a good experience. This may have something to do with the fact that we arrived after 4 p.m., but the food was almost gone and it had already been cleaned up. The salads, what was left, had no spoons left in them and were not tasty. Ordered 2 hamburgers, only 1 came and I'm sorry to say, outrageously expensive for a sandwich thinly topped with greens and a half-cooked hamburger. Don't understand it at all. The staff was young and certainly not friendly, but there was no sign of any concession in poorly stocked display cases. Sandwiches were gone, salads were thrown together. I think that does something with the price. I like coming to la place, but I will definitely skip this one next time and I won't say that easily. See it as constructive feedback and do something with it.

Just made a stop here, pitta chicken honey mustard sauce...The chicken is also very tough. There was little choice and all tea glasses had a dirty rim, unappetizing to see. My husband's chicken burger sandwich was small and there were bites out of it...all this for a fairly high price

Meh, it's all a bit dirty. ; Wiping a cloth over the tables would certainly not be an unnecessary luxury. The range of cakes certainly ran out for a while and in general it all looked messy. Of all La Place between Delft and Groningen we have the least.

€11 for just the hamburger sandwich. Absurd. Then cover it up. Garnish it with some raw vegetables, etc. Otherwise I would have gone to the Burger King next door. Work against it. Well, pea soup is too thin according to my husband, I like it better, but then the tomato soup is too thick like passata with thick tomatoes in it and basil. The tomato soup was boiling instead of being kept warm and the pea soup was too lukewarm. Cutlery has not been rinsed and therefore has washing-up drops and residue on it. And not just a little. Very sweet staff who rinsed it for me at my request and even dried it halfway with paper for me. The fries were real potatoes and therefore tasty. The fried chicken sandwich of which the chicken was surprisingly real chicken and tasty but the sandwich was very thin, very soft, dirty and watery because of the tomato that was tasty and the mustard that was tasty and the pickle that was also tasty and even the lettuce leaf was okay, but everything on a very dirty, enjoyable sandwich. Too bad it was better and could be much better.

I thought the price-quality-quantity ratio was really lacking. A hamburger sandwich on a plate that is too large, for just that sandwich and the toppings you pay more than 11 euros. The containers in which you can put salad are becoming smaller and smaller, starting at around 6 euros. Really out of proportion. The atmosphere is cold. For 18 euros you get more value for your money on the other side. Positive: neatly presented. Clean restaurant.

We had a day in Amsterdam and had to load up on some extra cotton to get home easily. A nice lady served us 2 cappucino and apple pie in the afternoon. It was tasty and we also visited a clean toilet. Also a nice place for young children who can burn off some energy on the indoor slide and games. The stop was fun and the battery was full again to get home.

Had double experiences. The first time we had lunch here during the week with a friend and our toddlers and was impressed by how many goodies there were in the display cases. Forest fruit smoothie, focacia aioli with grilled peppers and the apple nut pie were delicious. The second time I had breakfast with my husband and toddler on a Saturday morning and it was very 'underwhelming'; there was almost nothing ready at 9am even though they have already been open for an hour and the shifts even start at 7am. There was only 1 employee in sight ("the others are on a break because by this time you'll be hungry again"), who had just put one of each pastry in the display case, which didn't look very attractive, and she was standing with soup There was nothing else there. We didn't feel very welcome. We also didn't have much friendliness and you had to do the cleaning yourself, so she could make a sandwich for us, she said pita roast beef. The pitas were cold. You couldn't heat them up because then the roast beef would no longer be tasty. I think you should just toast a pita before topping it The lime was very dominant in the banana-lime smoothie (especially for small children). Pumpkin spiced latte was ok, the milk could have been warmer and the beans were stronger so that you could still taste some of the coffee the atmosphere because the branch seems too big for the number of visitors and therefore unpleasant. It's nice that there is a play corner. €35 for 2 sandwiches, 2 coffees, 1 cake, small smoothie and croissant.

We kwamen om 16.15 uur en op de deur stond: 'vanwege technische storing sluiten we vandaag om 16.30 uur'. Na even doorvragen bleek er gewoon geen personeel te zijn. Belachelijk dat je daar als klant de dupe van bent. We hadden een Social Deal voor die dag gereserveerd en moesten dus noodgedwongen op zoek naar een andere vestiging.

Goedenavond, vandaag kwam ik met mijn ouders bij La Place in Harderwijk geweest. We kwamen rond 13.00 binnen. Geen hartelijk ontvangst en weinig keuze in lunchmogelijkheden. Mijn vader vroeg om een warm saucijzenbroodje. Er stond een jongedame achter een balie met als antwoord:"dat duurt nog effe". Mijn vader vroeg hoelang dat "effe" was, de broodjes moesten nog gemaakt, dat duurde zeker nog een half uur. Dus hij bedankte en zei dat hij wat anders zou nemen. We wilden een app deal, de broodjes zalm met jus d'orange. Die lagen er niet dus mijn vader liep terug naar dezelfde jongedame met de vraag of er 2x de app deal gemaakt kon worden. "Heb ik niet, ik heb geen zalm" was haar norse reactie. We pakten andere broodjes, die er wel waren. Bij de kassa vroeg mijn vader of de app deal kon gelden voor 2 van de 3 bestellingen die we hadden. Achter de kassa stond een vriendelijke jongedame die haar collega, die mijn vader eerder te woord stond, erbij riep. Dat ging niet van harte "dat doen we normaal niet" maar met tegenzin deed ze toch in de kassa aanpassen en rekenden we de bestelling af. Mijn ouders gingen vast zitten en ik pakte de 2 jus d'orange die bij de deal hoorde. De jongedame zei tegen me dat ik er maar 1 mocht pakken want ze had 1 deal getekend. Dat ging even over en weer en ze haalde er uiteindelijk een collega bij. Die vriendelijke jongeman liep mee naar de kassa. De jongedame kwam, boos kijkend, erbij en vond het nodig om haar ogen naar me te rollen. Ik heb haar gevraagd: "Gaat het? Je ogen rollen er zowat uit". Ze zuchtte absurd hard. Ik heb haar de tip gegeven een klantvriendelijkheidstraining te volgen. De jongeman heb ik vriendelijk bedankt voor zijn hulp. Als klant vind ik het onbegrijpelijk dat je klanten met zulke tegenzin te woord staat, nors doet, rolt met je ogen naar een klant, zucht om duidelijk te laten weten dat het je allemaal niet zint en het niet je eerste prioriteit is om het je klanten naar de zin te maken. Het is puberaal gedrag en zeer ongastvrij. Op nare toon discussie voeren, onbeschoft reageren op mijn vader (en daarna tegen mij) terwijl wij daar komen om gezellig even wat te eten. Daarnaast is het heel vreemd dat er amper keuze is om 13.00 uur aan lunchmogelijkheden. Wij komen hier in ieder geval nooit meer. De tip klantvriendelijkheidstraining is absoluut gemeend. Want hoe we vandaag te woord zijn gestaan is ver beneden peil

Large restaurant, occupancy is quite low, which makes it feel less cozy. Decoration is fine! The price used to be good, but it has now become very expensive. €19 for 1 chicken satay with a little satay sauce, portion of fries and a minimal amount of salad.

Chicken satay with fries was disgusting and the burger was not tasty either

Unsanitary! Empty dishes (2.30 pm on Sunday and most of the staff were just chatting with each other), sandwiches requested. Sandwich was prepared with dirty unwashed hands. The helpful employee had been scrubbing the stove beforehand and with her dirty hands she cut open a sandwich to fill. I refused, she became very grumpy and did not understand the complaint. Staff insufficiently trained? Men's toilet dirty, clearly not cleaned in some time. Throughout the country, La Place is no longer what it used to be since the takeover by Jumbo. It's a shame that the food quality, range and portions have become so poor, which the staff also agrees. We used to be regular customers, enjoyed the generous fresh selection and now we just stay away.

If you get a children's menu here, you can wait 20 minutes longer, plus the children's surprises are gone. “Yes, I am standing here too, but alone, sir.” Don't sell children's menus if you don't understand it.

The interior looks nice, but you pay for that. Coffee far too expensive and not drinkable.
