La Place in Middelwatering Oost

1 person has his pants halfway down and constantly pulls them up. I don't think that is appropriate and I don't need to see his underwear.

Never experienced anything like this at this branch! Bad service, a sandwich with minimal toppings, and having to pay extra for that little bit of extra sauce.

The sandwiches used to be very tasty, but over time they have become smaller and increasingly sparsely filled. The last time we were there, you really had to search for the tuna salad. When I mentioned this, I was told they had been instructed to put less on it. It is really no longer worth going there for lunch. A lot of money for very little. A shame. Update: yesterday, for the first time, the sandwiches were well-filled again. Happy with that!

Beautiful new branch at a new location with a familiar assortment.

Terrible service. We arrived at 12.00. We wanted to eat soup with a sandwich. A young girl told us that the soup would be ready in 10 minutes. That we could wait and she would go to us. We wait 15 minutes and food still was not ready. Every time we asked the answer was: 10 minutes. We were waiting until 13:00. Then, the woman who is apparently the manager or supervisor said: were you waiting for the soup?. You should have told me. But I did not know because you have not paid. For people who does not know: in la Place you first take your food, take it to the till and pay. So, it was impossible to pay if the soup was not ready. We explained that her collega told us that it would be 10 minutes and we had to wait an hour and soup was never ready. Anyway, the manager or supervisor blame us for not telling her (she was in the till, training a new girl, and we communicated with the girl who was making the soup), but no one offer a single apologize. So, no food, not nice customer service. 😣 No soup, no sandwiches. 😔

New manager, but arrogant. The tea water was so lukewarm that the tea bag wouldn't dissolve. I went to report the situation and was met with an unfriendly and lengthy lecture about how it's impossible for an 80-year-old to handle the water too hot. I pay for a product, and then the manager gets offended when the product isn't up to par. I've been going to various La Place locations for at least 25 years. At the Koperwiek location, the manager isn't customer-friendly; I didn't even get another cup of tea. You can tell the workplace dynamic is tense. Not healthy.

Today we had a very bad experience at the Laplace location with too good to go app. We usually receive sandwiches, cake, and juice, as we are weekly clients. However, today they only provided two sandwiches and some basic cheese pastries—no juice and no cake. We wanted to inform you of this issue, as it was quite disappointing.

Please don't include cleaning products in the feel-good deal. Ugh! I'm now sick because of this Laplace. I don't feel well because of this deal, and thank you. Let alone cleaning products for old people. Get them in. This is just execution.

They're always open late! They're supposed to be open at 9:30, but it's 9:40 and they're still not open. Can't be right!

The manager wants customers to say hello before helping them. It feels like you need to be educated and leaves a bad feeling. I wasn't the only one. The older woman after me walked out, and customers who mention this are told she thinks it's important because she's the manager. Something is seriously wrong here.

They don't take the opening hours too seriously, they should open at 9.30, I'm at the door at 9.35, they won't open until later, she says

Staff is great. Small la place with excellent selection. The focaccia tuna is highly recommended.

But you actually pay a lot for a herb cheese sandwich

Had a bad cup of coffee on Saturday, the coffee was cold. I did get a new coffee but it was also cold. According to the staff, that was because the machine was not yet warm. So no more at a quarter to ten because then the coffee is still cold.

The quality of the food in this restaurant is much less than the quality of the food in la place, for example la place alexandrium. It's all less fresh. The service is good. People are very nice.

The herbal cream cheese recipe from la place used to be great, now it is unfortunately a different recipe with a sweet taste that does not belong in cream cheese.... Too bad!!!!!!!!!!

Some employees are difficult about adjusting the Special Latte, my mother is lactose intolerant and would like a Latte with oat milk. But that is not possible for some. Why is it possible at ALEXANDRIUM without any problems?

Think about getting a nice herb butter sandwich in the Redwing. Sandwich so sparsely filled, it's scandalous to charge 5.80 for it. I ask, can you put butter on it, otherwise it will be so dry. No, we can't buy such a large block of butter for 1 customer. Very sorry. Then go to Alexandrium, where the sandwiches are great, normally filled 😃

Not a huge spread compared to other La Place outlets, but more than compensates for its incredible friendly service. There are also sockets for charging laptops.

It was great the first time and will definitely come back again.

Prices are not correct, you have to pay very different amounts than what is stated on the signs... very sloppy and you pay the main price there

Walk-in restaurant at "Koperwiek" shopping centre Capelle a/d IJssel. Conveniently located but sloppy presentation and unexperienced staff. Poor machine prepared cappuccino i.s.o. hand made by barista....

Normally I'm a coffee drinker, but for a change I had a hot chocolate (no idea why) I could choose from white or pure. The whipped cream was tasty and nice and firm But to say it was a spectacle... at least not for that kind of money. Hot dark chocolate milk with whipped cream (without further decoration, no cookie or the like) € 4.50

Om 16.00 uur kan je geen Spicy Hot chocolate meer bestellen hij was al schoon een broodje tonijn 6.05 genomen zo weinig tonijn leek wel of het als boter er opgesmeerd is om 17.00 uur gaan ze pas dicht schandalig kom hier nooit meer als het zo door gaat komen er weinig klanten want verder in het nieuwe deel komt er een heel horecaplein DUS GA ZO DOOR mij zie je niet meer

De 4 sterren omdat je midden en open in het winkelcentrum zit service netjes en beleefd en er werden verse broodjes voor ons gemaakt

Ziet er leuk uit alleen mis ik het om in de zomer buiten te kunnen zitten en het is flink prijzig!

Erg goed eten, medewerkers zijn aardig en behulpzaam. Is in het centrum, voor de sfeer zou ik wat afschermen met bv plantenbakken of iets zodat je even het gevoel kan hebben dat je niet midden in een winkelcentrum zit.

Prima plek om even iets te eten of te drinken.

Weinig keuze terwijl het lunchtijd is als het gaat om bruin brood. Als je gezond wil eten. Ik moest zelf om een optie vragen. Dat is spijtig. Laag stof op de leuning van de bank . Even een fris doekje er over is een kleine moeite denk ik.

Meest smaakloze broodjes en soep ever! Je kunt het vergelijken met het eten wat je in het ziekenhuis krijgt. De jongeman die de broodjes belegt, gebruikt geen handschoenen 🥴 kortom zonde van het geld

Jammer dat er zo weinig keus is

Diverse dingen niet assortiment,saucijzenbroodjes die matig waren en amper gevuld.

Appelgebak ongaar, koffie en thee beide niet echt warm. Presentatie overigens wel goed. Zitgedeelte tochtig en koud !

Eten is altijd wel lekker. Maar broodjes worden met minder beleg geserveerd en ook steeds duurder.

In winkelcentrum de Koperwiek. Hier na jaren weer geweest, flink opgeknapt en nog een klein gedeelte te renoveren. Nu veel aantrekkelijker en veel gezelliger. Gezellig zitje bij La Place en daarnaast Doppio met een speelgedeelte voor de kindjes. Zeker de moeite waard om weer te bezoeken. Parkeren 3 uur gratis. Niets veranderd bij Doppio bakkie gedaan.

Je kan er gezellig wat drinken en eten. De broodjes zijn lekker.
