La Strada in Wijk 09 Scharendijke

Ordered four pizzas and a pasta dish via Lieferando to the Center Parcs campsite. Delivery took 35 minutes. The pizzas were very good, with plenty of toppings and a crispy crust. Two special requests were perfectly accommodated. The delivery driver was friendly and punctual. Highly recommended.

Generous portions, excellent food and service.

There were 10 of us and they refused to pay by Bancontact; we found that a bit much.

This was our third holiday there, but this was our first time eating at the restaurant. The service was friendly :-) We ordered two pizzas, a schnitzel with fries, and spaghetti Napoli. The pizzas were soggy and the crust was greasy. Not great. My daughter had the schnitzel, which looked a bit odd and was completely dry and tough. She only ate the fries and left the rest. I told the waitress, but instead of apologizing and offering us something else as a courtesy, she just said, "We've never had it like that." Very disappointing; we definitely won't be going back. By the way, we paid €27 for the schnitzel and fries!!!!!

They have delicious pizzas and friendly service. The outdoor seating is lovely and peaceful. We'll be back.

Beware! Not a real Italian restaurant! This is a tourist trap where you can get shawarma and spare ribs, among other things. That says it all..! The food was very mediocre. I think I could even do better myself. The prices, on the other hand, are proportionate... We also had to wait 30 minutes for a baguette with herb butter as a starter. Customers next to us claimed they had been served cold food, and when they complained about this, the owner acted very unprofessionally towards both them and his staff, making all sorts of accusations. If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant, go to Leonardo's (unfortunately still takeout only) or to Da Roberto in the small harbor.

Initially, I was a bit skeptical due to the many online reviews. Nevertheless, we gave the restaurant a chance – and were pleasantly surprised. Both the pizza and the pasta were delicious. The pizza was nice and crispy and not at all soggy. The Bolognese sauce was generously meaty, and the portion size was absolutely perfect. The only minor criticism: The Parmesan cheese was already sprinkled over the pasta. We would have preferred it to be served separately in a small container. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about. The service was excellent throughout, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

I would only go here as a last resort after kitesurfing - the pizza is somewhat nutritional - but that is the only positive thing i can say about it, lol

We got takeout. Ordering by phone didn't work (no one answered), but luckily we didn't have to wait long. The pizzas were great and there was plenty of them.

Had a super mixed grill for 2 people with delicious fries, sauces, and salad. The ladies ate a delicious steak with pepper/mushroom sauce. Nice service by the sons. We were looking forward to a delicious pizza, but were bitterly disappointed. This had nothing to do with Italian pizza. The price/performance ratio was poor, the ingredients were low quality, and everything was smothered in garlic oil. The children's menu was also far too spicy. Eating at home would have been better and cheaper. At least the staff was friendly. Never again!

The restaurant has somewhat rough and heavy furniture. Because of this, it seems a tad outdated, but the food is more than fine and the staff is very friendly. We had delicious pizza!

We ordered and picked up pizza while staying at Roompot / Landal Brouwersdam. Super nice owner, friendly staff, and very tasty pizzas! The crust wasn't too thin and not too thick; just right! You could add extra toppings, and they were delicious too. When I picked up, we had forgotten the sauces; within a few minutes, the owner came to bring them to the park; what service!

La Strada could improve significantly by providing timely and more accurate service. The pizzas were okay, but I am sure the chef can improve them. Two ice cream desserts were returned because they were absolutely not good. As a gesture of goodwill, something was done about the bill; very kind, but a shame that it was necessary. It has been a long time since a dinner was disappointing. I do not expect to make the choice to go there again anytime soon.

(Not) Once again😶 We ordered two pizzas and one La Strada salad. I tried my pizza and poked at the salad. Unfortunately, I found that the pizza didn't meet Italian standards. The base was a thin, oily choux pastry, and the tomato topping was just plain tomato purée poured on top. The salad was a very basic side salad with feta cheese and olives, dressed with a pre-made dressing. All in all, it was a terrible experience, and every euro was too much. I gave the owner feedback about it. He said, and I quote, that no one had ever complained before and that he had many Italian customers… well… The owner offered no compensation. I left the uneaten food, along with the half-sipped drinks, but we still paid. Do yourselves a favor and eat somewhere else.

We have been coming here for over 17 years. Since we’ve had children, we’ve been taking them to this place. We feel completely at ease here. The children enjoy it immensely too. All the dishes on the menu are delicious. But if there is anywhere to eat really good pizzas, this is the place! Super friendly service and a super chef!!! We hope to continue enjoying ourselves here like this for a long time to come!!!

I have been coming here since I was a child and it is still perfect. Good, friendly service and plenty of choice of delicious food. You do need the right menu for dessert, otherwise you won't have much choice there. I definitely recommend the restaurant.

After our day at the beach, we just wanted to have pizza for dinner… We relied on the recent good reviews… We should have been suspicious when the restaurant next door was packed and the pizzeria only had two occupied tables… When we got our pizza, we were already skeptical, and after the first bite, it was clear why there were so few customers. There were three of us, and we all agreed it was the worst pizza we had ever eaten.

Everything was perfect! We felt completely at ease! The decor was just right – charmingly rustic yet chic. The gentleman who greeted and served us was very friendly and attentive. And the food – absolutely delicious! Beautifully presented, generous portions, and incredibly tasty! It was simply delicious! We'll definitely be back. Yesterday 3-11-25 ate at La Strada had the garlic spareribs and the gyros with spareribs very good portions super friendly and pleasant staff and a nice quiet music in the background super restaurant!

The pizzeria is located in the lovely Scharendijke. The two of us ate there in the evening. We ordered pizza. We found the wait for the food to arrive very long. Drinks were a bit expensive. The food tasted good and the price was reasonable. The restaurant wasn't full, so we could eat in peace. The service seemed a bit bored.

Unfortunately, quality has declined since Lieferando. We used to enjoy eating here, but unfortunately, we don't go here every vacation anymore.

We took pizza and pasta to go and ate them on the beach. The pizza was delicious. And the three girls who served us there were super nice. Our little 5-year-old got a lollipop 😊 to pass the time.

The restaurant makes a nice impression at first glance, both inside and outside. The prices are a bit steep in places: 2 pizzas, a pasta Bolognese, and a baguette with herb butter for starters for €50 wasn't exactly cheap, but acceptable if the food had at least been good! The food, however, is an absolute disaster!!! The spaghetti was old and completely overcooked. The Bolognese was a sad, tasteless, thickly cooked tomato sauce with 3-4 brown crumbs in it, suggesting it might be the ground beef. Absolutely inedible and a disgrace to serve people such a thing. The pizzas are a good size, but sadly, that's all... The dough is bad and doesn't form a nice, fluffy crust or a crispy base! The pizzas were completely soggy and saggy. The cheese wasn't melted properly and had no browning, making you wonder if it was even real cheese. The tomato sauce on the pizzas had no flavor (salt, pepper, or oregano), and unfortunately, the pizzas didn't have any. The baguette as an appetizer was unfortunately made from the same poor dough and, in this case, wasn't cooked properly. We can't comment on the herb butter, as they were unfortunately clever enough to put it in the hot bag, so it completely melted and spilled out. We expected a baguette filled with garlic butter or fresh garlic and butter on the bread (as you would expect from a good Italian restaurant). For €7, this, like the entire meal, was unfortunately a complete flop!!! Sad conclusion… €50 ended up in the trash!!! Very annoying and actually a reason to drive to the restaurant and return the food to the owners. We definitely don't recommend visiting this restaurant.

Not recommended, although the place apparently makes a good impression. We ordered two pizzas, one lasagna, and one spaghetti. After about five minutes, we wanted to reorder a salad – it was a disaster, carelessly slapped on with little sauce, and because it was a starter, the main courses took even longer (even though we'd already ordered). The waitress asked if everything was okay. I said no, the salad had hardly any sauce and tasted nothing. The answer: That's how it is with us, a mixed salad is just plain in our house (lots of greens, two pieces of cucumber, and a tomato). The critique was not accepted at all. A drink didn't arrive, but was brought upon request, but was listed as two on the bill. The main courses took forever to arrive and weren't great; the "chef" should retrain. All in all, €91...you can get better for the money.

A really great place, I even got dessert after 10 PM. Very nice people.

We got our menus and weren't asked for anything (drinks), so we just left... Then we ordered, and the schnitzel was dry and tough and looked anything but appetizing... The pizzas were dry and almost cold, and above all, had no flavor... Simply not good. And definitely not going back. And NOT recommended... A bad end to the day... The waiter came twice during our 1.5 hour stay.

We had a wonderful meal here and were truly pampered. The pizzas were excellent, and the pasta was just as good! We were a large group, and everyone ate at the same time. It was a real treat to eat here!

We had a wonderful meal with the children and grandchildren for my 60th birthday. They even decorated the table with balloons and surprised us with apple pie after dinner. We usually end a day at the beach in Ouddorp at La Strada. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful restaurant! We had a delicious meal on Monday evening. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We were at La Strada on July 5, 2025. Unfortunately, we weren't exactly thrilled with the food. The pizza was very soggy. A crispy base isn't possible. The ingredients were also rather second-rate. Instead of scampi, we had Arctic prawns. The chicken doner kebab was okay, but nothing more. The Pornstar Martini had a grapefruit slice instead of a passion fruit, and instead of Fanta, we had orange juice.

I called and ordered food for delivery. The woman was very friendly on the phone and during delivery! We had a few problems finding each other because the apartment I'm currently living in is very hidden. But we solved that, too. They're actually only open until 10 p.m., but they still took my order right before closing time. If I'm ever in Renesse again, I'll eat there again. The salami pizza was delicious! Thank you! I ordered a tonno. The base was as thin as a newspaper, the tuna made it soggy, and the edges were rock hard. The staff were very unsympathetic and unfriendly. So, I don't recommend it.

At the end of June 25, we organized a three-day cycling holiday in the region with four couples. During one of our trips, we were attracted by the offer of Italian “gelato”. We had a drink and tasted ice cream on the terrace of this business. A spacious terrace located along a relatively busy street. We were served quickly and simply. There was actually no wide choice of “ice creams”. Still, recommended for those who want to have a quick drink without more. Conclusion: A terrace where you can enjoy a drink and/or an ice cream. However, do not expect the high Italian “gelato” quality, this is just average scooped ice cream. Compared to Belgian prices, they are on the high side, but that is a consumer choice.

4 months ago I had food poisoning from an undercooked hair salon that was brought here. I said never again. After 4 months I was persuaded to order here again. This time not me, but my 8-year-old son who has been spitting everything out all night long because of your pasta carbonara... this can't be possible!? Food poisoning can no longer be okay in the Netherlands... this must be prevented. This is not okay.

Very bad service. We placed a large order after which there were complaints about the workload because of it. 4 of the 30 meals were missing, and it took a long time before this was finally ready again. The food was also on the cold side. Rude employee.

Ordered pizza for takeaway here for the first time. They were delicious pizzas. Service was also very good. Friendly staff. We had problems with the debit card and the pizzas were temporarily heated up so that they would not cool down. Eventually, at the suggestion of the staff, we paid via tikkie. We enjoyed the pizzas!

de meeste horeca ondernemers op schouwen kennen mij wel maar lastrada is zeker mn vaste favoriete pizza, kapsalon en vooral de spareribs zaak. geen gierige pizza met paar kruimels kaas erop maar gewoon een lekker volle smeulige pizza waar de kaas lekker van stold zodra hij gereserveert wordt en krokante korst. ook voor de afhaal momenten kiezen wij lastrada voor de kapsalon. geen keiharde pijlen van friet of her opgebakken maar gewoon perfect frietje onder de ruim gevulde van vlees voorziene kapsalon met lekker veel kaas erop, rucala salade, lekker veel tomaatjes en net genoeg knoflook saus en niet zo verzopen bak vlees van de saus om de opgebakken pijlen zacht te weken, een echte aanrader!!! als je van van sparibs hou moet je echt de zoete sparibs is proberen! iedere 2 weken is bij ons de vaste poker avond en dan bestellen we met de hele bende van ellende paar schotels sparibs. geen droge peuke maar lekker stevige bijt maar toch mals van het botje. zoals je hem in een steakhouse ook geserveerd krijgt maar dan nog lekkerder van wegen hun huisgemaakte marinade, die ze tot heden nog steeds niet prijs geven maar dat is een detail hahaha. voor de gene die gaan, eet smakelijk en geniet van bovenstaande gerechten! zeker te weten dat u ook deze zaak tot u vaste eetgelegenheid zal kiezen. eet u smakelijk! groetjes Kevin van Tellingen

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. We ordered OK to pick up from Center Parks. We got there and it was ready to take away. I had the pizza marinara and it was like Poseidon made my pizza, very tasty. Even if you go to Center Parks, go here, because the pizzaria in Center Parks is nothing compared to this.

Due to bad reviews of the pizzas at Port Zélande, we looked for an alternative. Called La Strada. Very friendly service, ordered online, called before departure and quickly arrived at the agreed location at the agreed time. Pizzas were fine, but not Italian style (different dough, loads of cheese). Service top, food good.

The first introduction to this business was an order for home delivery, which arrived only 2.5 hours after ordering but was very tasty. We also had dinner here on site. After we had ordered, the owner personally plus someone else came to the door to tell us that we could not get what we wanted on the terrace and in the restaurant. That's for takeout only. When I suggested that we just go for takeaway, it wasn't good either. Well I probably won't understand. The food is tasty, but the fact that the menu between eating on site and takeaway is such a problem will prevent me from coming again next time. Shame

Had dinner with the whole family this week. Really enjoyed the fresh and delicious food and the service was very nice! Definitely worth repeating.

Underground! Ok first the good....the 2 waitresses were very friendly, but then it stops...plastic flowers on the table, the window view at the back of the restaurant reveals the storage location of the summer's shabby furnishings. When I read: pizza - pasta - gyros - kebab. The chef is by no means an all-rounder! The steak was carelessly prepared, but it was ok to eat. Every chip shop can do better with the fries they serve. It was different with pasta with salmon: the cheese or salmon had a very strong aftertaste. The seat reservation online went perfectly, unfortunately I can't say more good things about it!

During my visit to La Strada last night I enjoyed a delicious dinner. For a starter I had mushrooms on toast, which tasted excellent - the mushrooms were fresh and well seasoned, and the toast was just crispy enough. For the main course I chose the gypsy schnitzel, which was served with a generous portion of fries and a fresh salad. The schnitzel was well prepared with a rich, spicy sauce that balanced well with the other ingredients on the plate. The fries were particularly tasty and lightly seasoned, which made for an extra tasty experience. The service was friendly and efficient; the staff were attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and relaxed, exactly what you are looking for for a night out for dinner. In short, a successful experience that I definitely recommend!
