Pizzeria La Piazza in Wijk 13 Renesse

I highly recommend this pizzeria. The pizzas are delicious, and the pizza bread for our little one was truly delicious. Apart from the fact that a misunderstanding meant we had to wait almost 45 minutes for the main course, it was really good.

The service is friendly and attentive, the ambiance simple but cozy. Unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy the pizza, which is the most important thing. It was relatively bland in flavor, and both pizzas felt like they could have stayed in the oven a little longer. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which, for me personally, didn't have much to do with the tiramisu, but at least tasted good in a different way. Certainly not a top-notch restaurant, as some others have described, but it's enough for a quick snack.

Good Italian snack bar! In a perfect location, friendly service. Typical tourist food. If you want real Italian food, you'll have to walk a bit further ;)

Absolutely fantastic! The pizza at La Piazza in Renesse is a dream. The dough is perfect, the ingredients are super fresh and the taste is simply amazing. There is also friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Clear 5 stars! We'll definitely be back.

Very friendly staff and a great pizza. Finally, NO greasy Frisbee! My husband's bolo was also incredibly delicious, and the small mixed salad rounded it all off. A cold beer tasted perfect outside in the sun. I'd love to go back ☺️

I don't like to complain but this was just really not good. The salad (a bowl of lettuce, without anything, just dry lettuce) was brown. I told them that I don't understand how you can serve something like that, you can see something like that. The pizza was as thin as a piece of paper and the shawarma was on about 40 percent of the pizza. Hygiene was fine, the service was friendly (although in English). We heard several tables complain about the pizzas, my wife's pasta was fine. This was a shame.

Best pizza in the whole area! Thin, crispy dough with enough toppings. The service is super accommodating, quick and extremely welcoming. We felt very comfortable on the outdoor terrace during our visit and will definitely come back! 🙂

No spaghetti for the children on the menu. Several people asked about it during our last visit. Apparently the effort required for pasta is too great to offer it to children. Pizza's are good.

I'll put it this way... Nope 🥴. Were there yesterday. One pizza Hawaii, bruschetta and pizza with salami, peppers and mushrooms. For the bruschetta, take baguette rolls from Aldi - put them on a toaster and then serve with tomatoes and oil. The pizzas were bland, small and moderately topped. The edge was crispy - I have to give them that. But otherwise really bad. The peppers had the typical frozen taste like a €0.99 Aldi pizza. . There was no salad or pasta (shortage of staff). But sry... even I can manage a head of lettuce with a few cucumbers and tomatoes. That's why... Nope, you don't have to and you can save money.

We ordered 2 pizzas to pick up via WhatsApp (number can be found on the homepage). Pizzas could be picked up after 15 minutes and were delicious. Staff was very friendly! (For anyone who complains about the tarte flambée-like dough: the website points out the thin, crispy base. 😉)

Were there in the evening to eat. Parking spaces are available on the edge of Renesse. These are easily reachable on foot. The staff was always very polite. Everyone liked the pizzas we ate. Similar in price to restaurants in the area. Gladly again

Although the restaurant is really ideally located at the beginning of Renesse's main street, it unfortunately doesn't make the most of its possibilities. The food was really below average and even the pizza wasn't even close to what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The dough recipe should definitely be revised and the sauces for the pasta dishes should be prepared with more attention to detail. I thought it was a shame and can only hope to be surprised by the kitchen on my next visit. There really isn't much missing to make the most of this great location with this great team from a culinary point of view.

We were guests several times during our vacation in the restaurant located at the front of the pedestrian promenade in Renesse. The food was quite tasty, the garlic bread is highly recommended. The pizza base was more reminiscent of tarte flambée, but the topping was rich and tasty. Unfortunately, the cheese on the lasagne we ordered was very salty. The restaurant also offers delicious Dutch/Belgian beers on tap; The service is without exception friendly and most of them also understand/speak German. Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted in the restaurant.

Pizzas are freshly made, with a delicious base and all fresh toppings. This time I had tomato soup beforehand, also very tasty. Recommended: homemade Tiramisu for dessert! We will definitely be back...Pizzeria la Piazza! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they also look neat and tidy. Cozy atmosphere, right in the center of Renesse.

We each ate a pizza, how can I put it; In our opinion, they were frozen pizzas! We've never experienced anything like this in a pizzeria before... If that's what maximizing profits looks like, then "Goodnight"!

Super delicious pizza to eat on site or take away.

The served Pizza at least has not much in common with a traditional neapolitan style pizza, the dough is rather comparable to a "Flammkuchen" from the much nearer Elsace. Dough taste is primarily flour. Toppings are of reasonable quality but the prices rather high, for the offered (high quality and nice variety) beers as well. Ambiente is nice with view of the nearby church and no cars passing by, the service was friendly and quick.

If you want to eat Italian on vacation, this is a wonderful option. Nice staff, delicious pizza, cozy atmosphere – even in rainy weather. Particularly recommended is the pizza with seafood, which tastes fresh and fresh from the North Sea. ;)

We were looking for a quick dinner in Renesse and ended up at the Pizzeria La Piazza. Due to the local fair it was a little louder and we had to wait a little longer for the pizza. The waitresses were all very friendly. The food was delicious, even though we have never eaten a pizza with such a dough, it seemed more like a tarte flambée dough. It still tasted good! Priced as usual in the Netherlands.

Centrally located and delicious pizzeria. The pizza is very thin and crispy and therefore tastes great. The ingredients on the pizzas were all of adequate quality. The waiters were very friendly and spoke German, which was very helpful for tourists like us. Special requests, such as additional pizza toppings, were also addressed immediately. If we lived in Renesse this would be our regular pizzeria. Clearly recommended for everyone who loves thin and crispy pizzas!

The card is simple which is good, drinks wise they have a very nice selection of wine and beers. The pizza tasted good however they can be cooled slightly longer for better crisp of the crust and bottom. The pasta was alright but the sauce was a little too thick. My advice would be to bind it a little less and use pancetta instead of ham (didn't have bacon though it said it would). The best would be to just use cream after cooking pancetta stir in the spices and add the pasta to the pan so its coats better. Price was okay for the quality

The employees were very nice and quick, but the food was a disaster. Unfortunately, we have never eaten such bad pizza and bruscetta in a restaurant. The atmosphere is good and cozy, and the location is also great. Maybe the other dishes are better, but unfortunately we can't recommend pizza.

We ordered 2 pizzas. The service itself was fine, fast, friendly. The pizza bases were made of cardboard, which was unacceptable. Unfortunately. Reported to management. It was said that it was freshly made dough. Unfortunately, not a second time for us.

Service is good, food mediocre. First ordered a baguette with herb butter. You get a small roll from the bakery with the dough still raw on the inside. Then ordered pizza funghi with ham, which tasted like it had some cheddar from a bottle on it. That probably isn't the case, but it really wasn't a nice chemical mess and there were very thick blocks of ham on it. All very disappointing!!! Avoid this store!!!!!!!!!!!

I warn you not to smell or look at this frass at all, even the dog vomited it up, vomited it out good and disgusting... these scumbag people belong in the penitentiary to choke this frass themselves every day... plus the drinks are totally overpriced.. .e.g. 0.2 liters of coka cola for a whopping 3.60 EURO... SHAME ON YOURSELF, YOU LOSERS AND FINALLY CLOSE THE SHOP.

Food: We ordered pizza and salmon pasta. The pizza was thin, tasty and good. Unfortunately, the pasta was bland in taste (lacking flavors) and the salmon was tasted but not seen with the naked eye. Very unfortunate. The service was not unfriendly, but showed little interest in the guest himself. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and inviting. Unfortunately, it doesn't look so loving inside. The restaurant can be reached without steps. Overall, okay in my opinion, but not a must-have.

Nice location, but I have never seen a 'pizzeria' that makes such bad pizzas. I can't believe anyone likes this. It's a kind of tortilla pancake with toppings on it. Tuna literally turned over from a can and shoved into a sandwich maker. Poor quality, but glad I didn't get food poisoning.

What an incredibly nice atmosphere. The operation is smooth and fast. Something I can appreciate. The food is like being in Rome, but now with a view of the famous Renesse ring road. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates the originality and freshness of Italian pizza.

Truly the worst pizza we have eaten in a long time. Dough/base without taste and strange consistency. Topping cheap and easy. Sorry🤷🏻‍♂️just didn't work👎 We fully informed your waitress what we didn't like about the pizzas. Your employee had enough time to suggest something else. This also surprised us a lot after our complaint 🤷🏻‍♂️

Every year on our Zeeland vacation we visit this pizzeria. It's delicious, the prices are okay and you can watch "Köppe" nicely. 😃

It was a busy day. Etrn delivery was quick and the food itself was of reasonable quality. Had to wait a very long time to pay, approached several staff members and were eventually allowed to pay. Friendliness and service could be a lot better

I had a pizza for €16. The topping was very tasteless and the dough tasted like a pretzel stick. And dry as cardboard. This is much better.

We were on vacation in Renesse Camping, we discovered this pizzeria while visiting the weekly market and strolling through the city. Very attentive reception, since we didn't make a reservation we unfortunately had to wait a little while, which wasn't that bad for us. After a short wait, we took a seat at the table and the very friendly waitress apologized for the wait, but it was also a lot that evening, not a single free seat left. All in all, the food we ordered was really delicious, everything tasted fresh, there was enough quantity, the price was absolutely okay 👍🏻 absolutely nice, cozy atmosphere 🙂 When we're in the area again, we'll stop by there again. Lg to the team.

First of all, it's very strange that you don't get rolls with herb butter in a pizzeria. I've never experienced that before. Since I'm a salmon fan, I decided on Pizza Salmone. There was a surprise at the first bite. The dough has nothing to do with a pizza. It's more like a tarte flambée. But since I also like tarte flambée, this tarte flambée was delicious disguised as a pizza. I would eat this "pizza" again.
