Very bad they scolded me and I had to throw up after their food

We had a very sad and disappointing experience when trying to have dinner at this restaurant. We were four (3 adults and a toddler) and when asking for table at 18:15, inside the restaurant, they were fully booked until 19:30 and the host offered us a place at the terrace, which we accepted. Since the temperature is 6 C, we asked to the host to turn on the heaters, he answered us with an ironic smile: “i could but i won’t” just for one table, because it would be irresponsible. It’s sad to go out with your family and have this kind of bad attitude of someone thst was supposed to be there to be the first contact the guests have with your restaurant(and it should supposedly be nice and welcoming), and have this unpleasant reception. I feel sorry about that and I dont plan to come back to this place or recommend it to anyone. Btw, a simple “I’m sorry, but we are fully booked” would be super ok and understandable, don’t give us an alternative when it won’t give us a good experience.

The location and decor are really nice. The restaurant is doing well, but that seems to be precisely why friendliness and hospitality are lacking. The manager came across as downright unfriendly. The food was fine, but certainly not exceptional. We won't be going back. From now on, we'll be looking for a place where guests actually feel welcome.

We got there right as they were closing and were told the kitchen had already shut down. However, they kindly prepared delicious, generously portioned lasagna for us to take away so we wouldn’t be left without food, and it was packaged with great care. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stop by to try their other dishes as well. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff!

Italian restaurant with an extensive menu, housed in a still-recognizable former butcher shop. The food is good, the service friendly and efficient. The time slot is 2 hours. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at a graduation party! We received a warm welcome, with balloons and a fun Polaroid photo as a souvenir. The food was fantastic, and the service made it perfect: friendly, attentive, and with a great sense of humor. A truly fantastic evening!

A fantastic experience! We came with seven people for a celebration. Excellent service, fantastic food, and a great atmosphere. The staff is very dedicated and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The food is good, with a wide variety of Italian dishes and is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is also classic with a real Italian flavor. We will definitely be back.

In my opinion, the manager (or maybe he just acted that way) was quite rude and unfriendly. He didn't come across as hospitable at all. The people I was with had the same experience with him the previous time and still wanted to try again, but tonight wasn't to their liking. And so, it was the last time for all of us.

We had dinner on the terrace. The interior was fully stocked, and they had tables that could be joined together (there were 10 of us). There were also heaters in the awning itself, which is a welcome sight when the autumn night falls. High-quality Italian food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

A great neighborhood pizza place with very good food. Our pizza was hot and very delicious. The middle of the pizza was a little more soggy than we prefer but the taste was amazing! You can customize your toppings even though they don’t note that on the menu.

The manager is so rude! Which was horrible, we enter the restaurant and the manager is really rude when we are requesting a seat and that automatically ruined the vibe and we were bothered the whole evening. i would appreciate if the manager can fix his attitude.

Great Italian restaurant, delicious pizzas. Next time I'll try pasta; it looked good, and people were really enjoying themselves.

Tried for 2 nights to get a non-booked table here. When we did get in, we were not let down. The staff are super friendly - to locals and tourists. We watched a couple of big birthday parties get looked after, and we got almost the same treatment too. Pizzas are amazing. And the beer is good too. All for a good price. Will come here again if ever back in the area.

Servers were kind, but very slow service. We waited 55 minutes for four pizzas with a 20:00 seating. The pizzas weren’t a favorite of my kids, two didn’t get eaten, mine was very salty. And they allow smoking on the patio so we ate while surrounded by smoke. €81 euro, will not return.

Staff became increasingly careless. Forgetting to place orders, no follow ups, no check on you. When ordering on the phone, they are plain rude. Used to be a nice place under Julia… new management since her time… chaos here - on a simple weekday, with no crowd in either…

Great restaurant! We were just passing by and stopped in without a reservation. On a busy evening the staff found us a table very quickly. Food was fresh and delicious, making the visit feel like a special occasion.

Service was terrible. We were seated, and that was about that. After a whole long while and many attempts at making eye contact with various servers, we waved less subtly and managed to order with a person based on the restaurant's website we pulled up on our phone (no menu at the table?). At about 50 mins after our reservation time with no contact and no food, we walked up to the counter to ask whether they could check on our order. We then received one of our main courses (a simple salad) 10 or so mins later - pretty sure they forgot our order and threw this together quickly - and then our two pizzas a whole while later with a whispered apology. We had to walk in again to get our invoice and pay, as the waitress who brought our food was seated inside, eating her own dinner at that point. No one else was seemingly interested in or assigned to our table. The smartypants comments by the guy behind the counter handling our payment were the cherry on top. As someone who worked in a similar place for close to five years, please provide these people training on how to provide proper service, proactively manage their clientele and expectations, table assignment, all of it. The food was fine, but pretty sure they forgot the basil on our pizza Margherita...

There are vegan dishes available. I had the penne all'arrabbiata which was delicious. Really friendly staff who were unflustered despite it being busy. Perfect end to our visit to Amsterdam.

Si usted es un turista vale la pena sentarse afuera, ya que tienen bancos calentados y mantas acogedoras para ofrecer. Es simple, pizza y cerveza. La pizza está bien para comer (nada elegante o memorable), la cerveza es buena. Pero es divertido ver el barrio, la gente, los coches, los otros clientes. Probablemente no estaría dentro, o si buscas comida gourmet, tal vez en otro lugar. Pero es tranquilo y un poco fuera de la zona turística que está a 10 minutos a pie.

Last night me and my friends had the pleasure of dining in this cute cozy place, located in an amazing neighbourhood. We arrived as a group of 4 without a reservation, but the welcoming staff immediately found us a table. As an Italian the food was outstanding: it was immediately possible to taste the freshness and quality of ingredients in every plate. The pizzas were delicious, with an authentic Italian touch. One of my friends ordered a pasta, and we were all blown away by how flavourful and perfectly cooked it was. Also the service was impressive. Waiters were warm, attentive, and extremely efficient. We didn't have to wait too long for anything, and they were always extremely available with a big smile, happy to help. Complimenti allo chef e a tutto lo staff!

The service staff was overwhelmed in the full restaurant and only served our drinks after the starter. The seating in the restaurant was far too close together and therefore there was a loud atmosphere in the restaurant. In addition, the aperitif drinks such as Aperol Spritz were too bland and not sparkling enough. And the calzone was disgusting and underbaked, canneloni had too much cheese and the lasagna didn't contain bechamel sauce as described.

Werden apart ontvangen door een dame die over de bezetting ging. Geen vriendelijk woord gekregen van haar( mogelijk te druk op het terras) Uiteindelijk een tafel voor 2 maar op de tocht bij de ingang van het binnen restaurant. Deur was natuurlijk open ivm het heerlijke weer. Op onze vraag of er mogelijk een andere tafel voor een klein uurtje vrij was ging zij ff kijken. Maar gaf vooraf al op een niet echt vriendelijke manier te kennen dat er mogelijk niets vrij was. Binnen was van de ongeveer 20 tafeltjes 1 bezet. Buiten op terras druk. Jammer maar zijn weg gegaan ondanks de pizza's die langs kwamen er goed uitzagen.

The pizza was terrible, domino pizza is actually better. I give two stars only because the prices are quite low given the very expensive area this restaurant is located in, and the fact that it has quite okay interiors. I’d really not recommend going to this restaurant unless you live very close by and you want a cheap option

Super lekker gegeten. We zaten buiten op het terras op heerlijk verwarmde kussens. Leuke plek in een gezellige buurt. Ruime keuze qua pizza, pasta, salades. Lekker voorgerecht en de tiramisu en citroentaart waren overheerlijk!

There was a piece of plastic from the ham packaging in my pizza: no reaction whatsoever from the kitchen. Then eat carefully, because there may be more... Furthermore, the pizza and the salad were drowned in the parmesan cheese.

Me and my Wife went here on Valentinesday. Even without a reservation they gave us a nice table for two and the service was great. The food was even better. We had our food within 10 minutes of ordering. Will come here again!! 🙏🏽

La comida era buena, pero demasiado caro para platos simples en comparación con otros lugares cercanos con una unidad de cambio de bebé adecuado y más y más opciones de comida elegante. El servicio era bueno, gente joven agradable tratando de ser servicial siempre. No recomiende si tiene un niño pequeño y podría necesitar cambiar pañales o si tiene asma y no puede tolerar olores distintos del material de limpieza/pulverizador de la habitación en los baños. Vale si tienes un bebé pequeño para el cambio de pañales. Recomiendo reservar con antelación. Bonito barrio que hace posible tener un agradable paseo tranquilo después. Buena ubicación.

This really is such a wonderful place, so typically Italian, hospitable and very good food. The cauliflower truffle soup 💫 is absolutely great. Only here I eat a pizza because they are so delicious. And the nice, very friendly service makes the visit very worthwhile every time.

The ideal place for a meal beforehand if you go to the Concertgebouw. Delicious food, plenty to choose from, beautiful interior (original wall tiles!) Make sure to make a reservation!

The waiter could simply tell us that he is not welcoming tourists.🙂 So that we would not bother him. I don’t want to think the staff is allowed to serve while they are high, as there is no other explanation about his behaviors. Go find another job dude, if you don’t like it (Pizza was moderate btw)

Cozy place with rustic historic feeling. Vitello Tonnato was perfect with extremely good tastes. Maybe slightly too less sauce. Price was hefty 17,50 e which is way the most expensive version I've ever had. No bread was offered, which we got after asking. Bread, which arrived in two sorts, was unfortunately too dry. Tomato soup was delicious. However, the chick pea beef soup with coriander had taste of slightly plain. Both white and red wines were spot on. Experience of 3,5 stars from 5.
