Pizza and their special salad is delicious. We eat here every month on a family sunday and never got any bad surprises.

We visited the restaurant on 18/09/2025 for a 6:30pm reservation for two. The pizza quality noticeably declining than two to three years ago. The dissatisfaction is mainly around the service. Although we arrived slightly early to our reservation slot, were seated first and ordered last compering to the other tables next to us who arrived after. As a consequence, due to ignoring us and messing up with the ordering and queue of tables (first sat, first served), we were served LAST and extremely belated. We waited 45' minutes for two pizzas, our food arrived at 7:15pm, which ruined our evening as we had other plans. Unacceptable service and declining food quality. Wanted to order to a tiramisu and chocolate mous which I had to skip as most probabbly would have waited for another 30'+.

Have been coming here for over 30 years. Always good and cozy. Reasonably priced. 29/08/26 Small update: turned 49 today and ate at this lovely restaurant. This means I have been coming here for over 40 years. Truly a nice, unpretentious place.👌

A noisy atmosphere and terrible service (except for one of the waiters). The food was okay, but they messed up half of our order.

Everything is amazing here! The location is super cozy on a little square, the food is incredibly tasty and diverse, and the service was sweet and noticed when the wine glasses needed refilling. Lovely place! Had a super nice meal!

Last Saturday I ate here with a daughter, because we used to come here often with the children years ago. It has changed, though, and unfortunately not for the better. The pizza was tasty, but my risotto wasn't. It was undercooked and had a very small number of prawns. And a bland tomato sauce in risotto is not a pleasant combination. The service is somewhat uninterested. So, keep the nostalgic feeling of the old-fashioned coziness there, but I won't be coming back now.

A really nice place for a drink or dinner. The terrace is great. The staff was very friendly. Just one minor point: Apparently, it was so busy in the service and kitchen around six o'clock that it took well over half an hour between ordering and being eaten.

We had a Risotto that was supposed to be in a tomato sauce and lobster bisque, butt the tomato overtook the lobster taste, making it undescernible. We also had the ravioli with scallops and smoked salmon. The same thing happened here, when the bite had the salmon, it's taste overtook everything else. It was otherwise a good, although small dish. For dessert, a chocolate mousse cake a little too greasy and a lemon cake with a mango sorbet??? The staff was really nice and always eager to help, but the menu makes little sense.

Disappointing; drink order was wrong, hair on the appetizer plate and entrees came out two by two, separated by 20 minutes. Great location, but they need to do much better.

Nice place, good food. A bit on the pricey side though (the four of us shared 2 bruschetta, I had pasta, a dessert, a glass of prosecco and the four of us shared 2 bottles of sparkling water) and the staff (some, not all) a bit boorish.

Make sure to make a reservation in advance. Otherwise, you may have to wait or eat inside.

Incredibly friendly staff and the pizza was delicious

The best of Amsterdam. Wonderful staff. We felt right at home. Alberto is 100/100: the best chef. Acmed, Mec, and Matilda looked after us and welcomed us warmly at all times. If you're ever in Amsterdam, you absolutely must go to Le 4 Stagioni; otherwise, you'll have missed out!

Super friendly service in a lovely place! The food is good and consists mainly of pizza and pasta, plus a few appetizers. Overall, it's noisy inside, but you can still have a good conversation. All in all, a great place for a nice evening with friends!

The soup portions were quite generous. The pizza dough was thin, and the toppings were of average quality. The chocolate cake was quite good.

A very nice restaurant not far from the Concertgebouw with delicious pizzas and pasta dishes. The service is extremely friendly and efficient; you're served quickly. As the oldest pizzeria in the city, it was very busy during our visit, so a reservation is highly recommended. The somewhat high noise level doesn't detract from the overall experience: Absolutely recommended! We felt very comfortable at Le 4 Stagioni.

I am normally not one to write reviews, but I am so disappointed with my experience on King's Day 2026. I understand that King's Day is a hectic day, but that is no reason to adopt such an attitude towards your customers, and I am referring specifically to the manager. It all started when I asked if a table for 3 was available; I was given a very dirty look and told to come back in 15 minutes. Fortunately, after 15 minutes we were able to take our seats, and soon the very sweet wait staff came to take our order. We decided to order starters, a main course, and something to drink. The starters arrived within 20 minutes and were fine. And then the disaster began: we waited 2 hours for 3 pastas, while everyone around us was getting food that arrived much later than us. During those 2 hours, we asked the wait staff multiple times how much longer the food would take, but they could not give a time indication. At one point, I asked the manager if he could check in with the kitchen. But instead of the manager giving a polite answer, he continuously sent waitstaff who were working there for the first time, and he didn't dare look us in the eye. After 2 hours, the pastas finally arrived, but only 2 instead of 3; we had to wait another 10 minutes for the third one. The pasta was not served with love at all, but just thrown haphazardly onto a plate; it had absolutely no taste. When the bill came, we, as a group, indicated that we were not going to pay for the pastas after waiting for 2 hours and being treated as if it was our problem. The manager started to adopt an attitude and began saying that we were lying (I will spare you the details) and that it was not true that we had observed tables that arrived later receiving their food earlier. After a long discussion, he decided to take the pastas off the bill. Next problem: he still hadn't brought the bill, so one of the members of the group decided to go inside, whereupon the manager told one of the waitstaff not to look, just carry on. What it comes down to is finding a new manager, because we were not the only ones in the restaurant who were treated with an attitude or ignored. A new manager who can show respect to customers, even on a busy day, will be 100% appreciated. Deeply disappointed.

Excellent pizzas, nice location, long wait, and very little chicken in the Caesar salad despite its price of €22.50.

We had a delicious meal; the lamb was so wonderfully tender that it almost melted on your tongue. Fantastic restaurant.

Quaint place and the service was impeccable, my wife had a tagatelli and it was tasty, I stuck with the standard lasagna both were good and fresh. The lemon meringue pie was good yet not the best served with gelato and whip cream it was 4/5 stars. They have wine, beer and some spirits including sambuca which my wife just loves. Stop in for a bite I’m sure you’ll leave happy.

We were referred here from our hotel Omega. Basically across the street. Just arrived from a full day of travel from US. It seemed we needed a reservation, but then he worked us in. The bartender invited us to wait at the bar while we wait. She was energetic and welcoming. Once seated, we agreed to share a pizza. In the end, food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Wouldn't change a thing for our first night here in Amsterdam.

These are truly THE BEST PIZZAS EVER!!! Really, we’ve been coming here for nearly 30 years - left Netherlands - came back - and they’re even better.

Last Monday I thoroughly enjoyed the Carpaccio Classico, very good service and I was seated quickly! Definitely recommended if you are near the Concertgebouw!

Been coming to this place for over 25 years and always love eating there. Good food, fair prices, good wine and dedicated staff. Kitchen always flexible with all my food allergies and service and staff are lovely. Great restaurant for our family dinners!

A clear recommendation for the food and atmosphere: delicious, excellent value, and a great, attentive young team. Unfortunately, it's very noisy inside when it's full (the tiles echo badly), so it's more suited to a "loud & lively" atmosphere – sitting outside in the summer is definitely a highlight.

Delicious food and good service

Great spot for some Italian food. Went in late January and had to sit at the bar it was so full, seems like even the locals enjoy this spot. I enjoyed my ravioli dish, but a lot of customers were ordering pizza so will try that next time I make it by! Definitely recommend getting a reservation if you’re looking to dine here. Great spot!

When it was lunchtime, all the tables at the restaurant were booked. Since we hadn't made a reservation, we had to book on the spot. We went to the 6 PM table to reserve a table for 7:30 PM. Afterwards, we went for a walk in the nearby park. When we were finally seated, the waiter was very friendly and helpful, explaining and recommending the dishes. Another waiter even came to ask if we had ordered. The food was delicious. We ordered a truffle pizza and baked pasta, and the pizza was especially good!

Great and popular place. I have never seen it quiet in this restaurant and therefore reservations are required. Excellent pizzas! What I appreciate is the lowkey-ness of it all. No fluff, just good pizza.

Very bad they scolded me and I had to throw up after their food

We had a very sad and disappointing experience when trying to have dinner at this restaurant. We were four (3 adults and a toddler) and when asking for table at 18:15, inside the restaurant, they were fully booked until 19:30 and the host offered us a place at the terrace, which we accepted. Since the temperature is 6 C, we asked to the host to turn on the heaters, he answered us with an ironic smile: “i could but i won’t” just for one table, because it would be irresponsible. It’s sad to go out with your family and have this kind of bad attitude of someone thst was supposed to be there to be the first contact the guests have with your restaurant(and it should supposedly be nice and welcoming), and have this unpleasant reception. I feel sorry about that and I dont plan to come back to this place or recommend it to anyone. Btw, a simple “I’m sorry, but we are fully booked” would be super ok and understandable, don’t give us an alternative when it won’t give us a good experience.

The location and decor are really nice. The restaurant is doing well, but that seems to be precisely why friendliness and hospitality are lacking. The manager came across as downright unfriendly. The food was fine, but certainly not exceptional. We won't be going back. From now on, we'll be looking for a place where guests actually feel welcome.

We got there right as they were closing and were told the kitchen had already shut down. However, they kindly prepared delicious, generously portioned lasagna for us to take away so we wouldn’t be left without food, and it was packaged with great care. Italian restaurant with an extensive menu, housed in a still-recognizable former butcher shop. The food is good, the service friendly and efficient. The time slot is 2 hours. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at a graduation party! We received a warm welcome, with balloons and a fun Polaroid photo as a souvenir. The food was fantastic, and the service made it perfect: friendly, attentive, and with a great sense of humor. A truly fantastic evening!

A fantastic experience! We came with seven people for a celebration. Excellent service, fantastic food, and a great atmosphere. The staff is very dedicated and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The food is good, with a wide variety of Italian dishes and is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is also classic with a real Italian flavor. We will definitely be back.

In my opinion, the manager (or maybe he just acted that way) was quite rude and unfriendly. He didn't come across as hospitable at all. The people I was with had the same experience with him the previous time and still wanted to try again, but tonight wasn't to their liking. And so, it was the last time for all of us.

We had dinner on the terrace. The interior was fully stocked, and they had tables that could be joined together (there were 10 of us). There were also heaters in the awning itself, which is a welcome sight when the autumn night falls. High-quality Italian food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

A great neighborhood pizza place with very good food. Our pizza was hot and very delicious. The middle of the pizza was a little more soggy than we prefer but the taste was amazing! You can customize your toppings even though they don’t note that on the menu.

The manager is so rude! Which was horrible, we enter the restaurant and the manager is really rude when we are requesting a seat and that automatically ruined the vibe and we were bothered the whole evening. i would appreciate if the manager can fix his attitude.

Tried for 2 nights to get a non-booked table here. When we did get in, we were not let down. The staff are super friendly - to locals and tourists. We watched a couple of big birthday parties get looked after, and we got almost the same treatment too. Pizzas are amazing. And the beer is good too. All for a good price. Will come here again if ever back in the area.

Servers were kind, but very slow service. We waited 55 minutes for four pizzas with a 20:00 seating. The pizzas weren’t a favorite of my kids, two didn’t get eaten, mine was very salty. And they allow smoking on the patio so we ate while surrounded by smoke. €81 euro, will not return.
