La comida era buena, pero demasiado caro para platos simples en comparación con otros lugares cercanos con una unidad de cambio de bebé adecuado y más y más opciones de comida elegante. El servicio era bueno, gente joven agradable tratando de ser servicial siempre. No recomiende si tiene un niño pequeño y podría necesitar cambiar pañales o si tiene asma y no puede tolerar olores distintos del material de limpieza/pulverizador de la habitación en los baños. Vale si tienes un bebé pequeño para el cambio de pañales. Recomiendo reservar con antelación. Bonito barrio que hace posible tener un agradable paseo tranquilo después. Buena ubicación.

This really is such a wonderful place, so typically Italian, hospitable and very good food. The cauliflower truffle soup 💫 is absolutely great. Only here I eat a pizza because they are so delicious. And the nice, very friendly service makes the visit very worthwhile every time.

The ideal place for a meal beforehand if you go to the Concertgebouw. Delicious food, plenty to choose from, beautiful interior (original wall tiles!) Make sure to make a reservation!

The waiter could simply tell us that he is not welcoming tourists.🙂 So that we would not bother him. I don’t want to think the staff is allowed to serve while they are high, as there is no other explanation about his behaviors. Go find another job dude, if you don’t like it (Pizza was moderate btw)

Cozy place with rustic historic feeling. Vitello Tonnato was perfect with extremely good tastes. Maybe slightly too less sauce. Price was hefty 17,50 e which is way the most expensive version I've ever had. No bread was offered, which we got after asking. Bread, which arrived in two sorts, was unfortunately too dry. Tomato soup was delicious. However, the chick pea beef soup with coriander had taste of slightly plain. Both white and red wines were spot on. Experience of 3,5 stars from 5.

Truly the nicest Italian in the Netherlands. Super customer, child and animal friendly. The food is fantastic. You sit outside. Been twice now and a family favorite.

Horrible customer service—it was non-existent. We showed up, and there was a line of two groups of people, but in the half-hour that we waited, no one ever approached us or talked to us to give us a heads-up on the waiting time or even to ask if we had a reservation. Don't come here during peak hours, not even if you have a reservation.

Nice menu, delicious food (as a pizza should be), good service (could have refilled the glasses once more. But even though it was busy, you were not looked outside), top location (5 minutes walk from concert hall) and a very pleasant atmosphere (balloons for a birthday boy or girl at the chair).

What a shame. We used to like coming here, but this time it really wasn't good. There were enough waiting staff, that wasn't the problem. However, in the hour and a half that we were there, we were not asked once whether we had enjoyed it or, for example, whether we wanted something to drink. The employees didn't really seem to enjoy receiving guests. Only twenty minutes after we had finished the main course were the empty plates collected, and without exchanging a word with us. And after five minutes later a colleague came to collect the empty glasses, again without saying a word to us, unfortunately we were a bit fed up with it. We also didn't manage to order dessert... I really hope we can make it better again, because it's such a nice place.

Every time I'm here, I go home completely happy. Simply the good service, friendly staff and most importantly the delicious pizzas. My favorite pizza is definitely the Robusta. Today I went for the Napoletana and the Delicata (nice and fresh), which were also delicious. Actually, all pizzas are tasty. The bizarra, the marinara. But also the lasagna and desserts. The tiramisu is excellent. Thanks again for a tasty evening! See you soon 👋🏾❤️

Do not go here!! My friends and I went out looking for a nice dinner while we were on holiday in Amsterdam and stumbled upon this place. From the start, the waiter ignored us, brushing past all of us multiple times without even acknowledging our existence. In the process of literally pushing past us as we were waiting out the front hoping to be sat he kicked our shoes and made us feel very unwelcome. He eventually noted us as human beings and said “yes?” In a very rude tone. We asked if there were any tables free, to which we could see multiple without any “reserved” signs on it. He presented as though they were incredibly busy and said we’d need to wait 15 minutes. We left. Not because we didn’t want to wait that long, but more because the overall tone of this establishment was uncivilised and generally rude. In short, I wouldn’t recommend this place to a starving dog. 0/5 - do not eat here unless you want to be belittled by rude staff the entire time and pay way too much for basic (and from the looks of it) bland Italian food

We love authentic Italian dishes like we could find here a few years ago. We have noticed that over the years it has become increasingly busy here. It has become assembly line work. You have 90 minutes and then you really have to leave. The taste of the food can no longer be described as tasty, but more as average tourist. Many of the previously authentic ingredients seem to have been replaced by wholesale products, which detracts from the quality of the meal. The lady behind the bar drank a shot glass with something strong before she started her shift and the young man who took over the service inside stood with a toothpick in the reflection of the coffee machine cleaning his teeth and then went to work. go to work without washing his hands. What a disappointment that was. For us this was the last time we were there.

The host with the dreadlocks in a ponytail is the rudest “host” we have ever encountered. The best man is really out of his mind or does not know any form of civilization. It is a mystery how this man ended up in this position. Enough reason for us to never come back here after years of coming here with our family and friends.

Está en una zona residencial tranquila y nos alegramos de haber reservado ya que se llenó muy rápido una vez que abrió. La mayoría de nosotros comimos pizzas y 1 tenía lasaña, además tenemos una ensalada para compartir en la mesa, todos eran muy buenos y buena relación calidad-precio también. El personal era amable y eficiente. Sin duda recomendaría cuando visite Amsteram!

Definitely not an Italian pizzeria or restaurant! Pizza not good, dough not rised enough (because i want to think that they do the dough in-house and is not frozen..), very burnt all around. Restaurant side? I say only that the lasagna was made with mozzarella.. as italian, i was about to blow my stack..

I come here often because the food is very good. Unfortunately, the service and customer friendliness have been lacking since the departure of manager Arjen.

We have been there multiple times by now, originally the place was recommended by a Russian lady to us. And we very often hear English conversation there, it’s an intentional friendly vibe and amazing food!

The pizzeria has a very nice atmosphere and harmonious atmosphere. It's pretty quiet on a side street in a small square. The selection of dishes is sufficient and everyone in the family found something tasty. The service took a while, but it was busy and the place was popular. Nevertheless, the staff was always friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food (starter, pizza, pasta, dessert) is excellent. It was a real highlight that day.

Worst encounter with staff I ever had. We wanted to have dinner and were given a table. The way our waiter handled us felt utterly disrespectful and weird. We stood up again and left.

They must have had a really bad night that evening. Some of the food was badly burnt, or otherwise badly prepared. Sea shells are not supposed to have the crunch of sand in them. The staff kept forgetting our order. And on top of that, the place was not that crowded. I visited on the 3rd. of July 2024.

Very rude service. My friend and I wanted to eat here. Upon entering we were ignored, after which my friend tried to ask if there was another table. The reaction was a strange smile and an unclear answer. Then I also asked, after which I was looked at and the boy (manager) then walked away with rolling his eyes. We left immediately. Een tafeltje MIDDENIN het restaurant tussen grotere tafels ingepropt. Ongelofelijk brutale, vervelende jongen die ons te woord staat. Geen excuus, niets! We zijn onmiddellijk vertrokken.

no commercial gesture and we waited more than an hour! glass of wine arrived 15min later! New tables served before us. we are in the restaurant business, it happens but we act when we notice an error! coming afterwards with an old cold pizza from a customer who didn't come to collect it and wanting to offer it to us as compensation... big joke! especially since we refuse and the waiter who is going to fill his colleagues in fashion they refused free food! I'm not going to explain your job to you but it would have been more logical to offer our drinks than to try to pass on someone else's pizza! To flee! Incompetent servers. a good management course will not be refused in your restaurant.

An amazing Italian restaurant located in an old butcher shop. Delicious pizzas and other dishes. Their tiramisu is simply the best I ever had. There are plenty tables indoor and also outdoor. The place is very popular and can be quite busy so consider reservations.

Super sweet and great service! My son and I were still very hungry because we had not eaten and had gone to a nice drinks party and luckily we were allowed to quickly eat a pizza while they were actually closing! It was very nice and they were very helpful... the pizzas there are nice and thin and tasty! Highly recommended! And lovely people who work there. Thank you very much!

Incredibly nice place, but the best man in the service with dreadlocks is an extremely indecent and unfriendly dude. Even to 2 year old children. What a disappointment. And all for an ice cream. If you can't handle the stress of being busy, don't work in hospitality.

Delicious food in a beautiful setting

Hygiene is left to fate there! Super unprofessional when I was there.

After a concert we thought we would have a nice meal here. There were quite a few tables available, apart from 1 reserved sign. My husband walks to two staff members standing outside and chatting, and waits politely until they have finished talking. They therefore take their time. After which he says good evening and asks if the 4 of us can eat. The boy just says with a strange smile; no. To which I laugh and think sincerely and also say: I thought you were joking? Answer: no... and the gentleman turns around and walks away... The older lady standing next to us was also very surprised by this bizarrely unfriendly behavior.

The place looks good and fun but I found the food to be mediocre. I had a pizza and the base was just very dry and too hard, the pizza itself lacked flavour. As a starter we had some bread and that was so tough I’m glad I still have all my teeth. I had a raspberry basil lemonade drink but it mostly tastes of water and smelled like chemical raspberries. People were smoking on the terrace while others were eating, I don’t like that. I wouldn’t return nor would I necessarily recommend going there.

A hidden gem in Amsterdam Zuid. Warm staff, cozy ambiance, delicious meals... The pizza is made to perfection: Juicy, crispy and tasty. Highly recommended!

Je ne noterai pas ici la cuisine car nous n’avons pas pu la goûter. Par contre, nous n’avions qu’un temps limité pour dîner. Nous l’avons bien précisé au manager qui n’a rien écouté et rien fait pour le prendre en compte. Après avoir attendu 20 min qu’un serveur vienne nous prendre la commande des boissons, on nous a indiqué qu’il fallait au moins 30 min pour faire une simple pizza. Nous sommes partis après avoir perdu 30 min de notre temps.

Cannot rate the food because I didn’t had the chance to taste it… We were really disappointed about the welcoming and the quality of service, so we decided to leave. At first we explicitly asked if it was possible to eat within a one hour range, and the non welcoming manager didn’t say a word about it and placed us quickly on the road side. We waited 20 minutes before the waitress to come and take our order. Now lets place to the surprise she told us that cooking a pizza here take approximately 30 minutes. We decided to leave. Thanks, we wasted half an hour, you could just have told us that you didn’t had the time for us.

This was the first restaurant where we dined our first night in Amsterdam on March 14, 2024. The Italian food was very good. The desserts were up to what we expected. The attention was very good...we recommend it.

Pasta was overcooked, pizza too salty

Very nice setting in an old building, cool old tiles, there's been a butchery already 100 yrs ago. We had ravioli and pizza. Taste of the food was great and staff was welcoming, even though it was a busy sunday night. When my pizza arrived, it was darker than the ones I had seen taken to the tables while we were waiting, the bubbles and in general, there was more black burnt on the sides so much that I would not had served. However it was served normally so I asked just to make sure "is pizza here supposed to have so much black on the side". She could not answer to that but eventually she said "tell me if you don't like it and we will get you a new one (just a little hint of frustration on her voice). I did not want to wait for another pizza as it kind of felt that I was becoming a very difficult customer here. I ate it, it tasted good, based on what saw that night, my pizza was clearly more burnt than other pizzas served, we had a nice night. However, from the customer service viewpoint the situation was so weird and I as customer was kind of pushed in public to do the quality control decision on behalf of the restaurant in a relatively cold manner, and also the whole things was not addressed at all later (felt like it was intentionally forgotten), it made me rate the service part w.2 stars.

Menu with all Italian classics; delicious pizza, good pasta dishes. Staff was super nice. Food came quickly. I can only recommend. Price-performance ratio fits. Bravo. 🙏

I had my first experience at Le 4 Stagioni. We were received a bit strangely by one of the employees (while we had just made a reservation, he said in quite a funny way that that was not the case), but once at the table we had top service. There was one person among the staff who made it so that I would not come back here anytime soon, despite his colleague doing a fantastic job. Placing food on the table without any description or 'enjoy your meal', receiving a false look while asking for the bill, unfriendly eye contact on several occasions... It looked like a manager figure but I'm not sure if that's actually him. Furthermore, the food was great and the other boy helped us well.

The pizza was the cheesiest ever. My husband had the salami pizza and again it was covered.

Ik kan niet oordelen over de pasta's etc, maar de pizza was droog, weinig smaak, te platte bodem. Ambiance is goed. Mooie locatie. Zou misschien nog een keer de 'versgemaakte' pasta's een keer proberen. Maar spaghetti bolognese zul je in Italie niet vinden😉 Reserveren is aan te raden!!!

Very tasty thin and crispy pizzas for a good price!

When we visited the Van Gogh Museum on January 7. We had our dinner here in the evening. 3 Belgians with a huge appetite It looked authentic and the kitchen has insight from the dining room. Which can be fun. But also doubtful since there was live football in the kitchen (may the best have won) We did receive the menu, but it still seemed like we had to approach someone to be helped. In the end we were served kindly. We received the food in good time. Although this price/quantity was sometimes difficult. The pizza, large but uncut so the cutting had to be done yourself. And then I had to use a knife and fork because the pizza completely fell apart in the middle when I took it by hand... The rest of the pizza was quite ok. The bigger disappointment was the lasagna. Which you could name after just a few bites. The small bowl was not even half full, 2/3 of our group left hungry because of this. Unfortunately, I don't write many reviews about what and where I eat. But the lasagna was somehow the biggest disappointment. We came in around 6:30 It wasn't very busy then. This could all have been a little better. Friendly service. English language when ordering. They also spoke Dutch 😅 International check

Very tasty pizza, arrived without a reservation and got a seat. The place had been vacant for quite some time and we stood at the entrance for 10 minutes without being approached, but the service was otherwise friendly. They were sitting in a cold/early corner.

Great food service price and ambience.

I’ve been coming here for years, and I can still really enjoy the experience, the food is lovely, from pizza’s, pasta’s and great desserts. I especially recommend the pizza salame and the strawberry cheesecake. The service is alright, sometimes it takes a little long. If you dine inside be prepared for a large crowd, it is very busy almost every day of the week.

Our recent visit to this pizzeria in Amsterdam left us with a positive impression, earning it a solid four-star rating. The star of the show was undoubtedly the pizza, boasting a thin and perfectly crispy crust that carried the authentic taste of Italy. The diverse selection of toppings catered to every palate, and we particularly enjoyed the creative combinations that set this pizzeria apart. We did try the Calzone, Valtellina and Trufolona. Equally impressive was their pasta, delightful Tagliatelle con Guancia di Maiale Brasata that showcased a perfect al dente texture and Penne con Straccetti di Manzo e Salsa Tartufata with it's rich flavorful sauce. It was evident that the chef paid meticulous attention to the quality of ingredients, creating a memorable pasta experience. The starters provided a delightful prelude to our main courses. Each bite of the Burrata Tricolore was a burst of flavor, and the Insalata Caprese Classica ensured there was something for everyone. The atmosphere here was good although a little loud. The place was super cute and gave a very nice vibe. I tried the carpaccio which was nice , a pizza Margherita which I really liked and it was very big and my mom had aioli pasta which was also very nice but the pasta a little bit too al dente. Their tiramisu is to kill for,I LOVE IT , maybe I'm bias because it's my favourite dessert however we all know that the Italian make it the best! The staff very super nice and fast. All together a good experience and I will definitely be back
