Fantastic food, fresh and tasty, very friendly service

Sardina is a good place to eat fish; you can choose from a display case full of fresh fish. They weigh your tray and start preparing everything. Some things go deep-fried, the rest on the griddle. I think it's a Moroccan concept. You get bread with a kind of paprika/tomato dip beforehand. You can also order extra fries, grilled vegetables, salad, etc. The fish soup was sold out (or they didn't have it). It is a fairly small place, but it is always full. However, it is sometimes very annoying with all those crying and whining children. Noisy. Very simply and standardly furnished. The heater by the window side could really use a cleaning. The food is fresh, well prepared, and neatly served. One point of criticism, though: everything tastes very bland, and yes, there is salt and pepper on the table! Correct! But a little garlic / parsley, for example with the prawns, is definitely not an unnecessary luxury! Everything tastes very neutral. I found that a shame. That could really be better! The door is constantly left ajar. It doesn't lock properly. The staff works hard, but they are understaffed. Tables remain full of clutter for quite a long time, even though the guests have been gone for quite a while. Otherwise, it is a fine place to eat fresh fish, but don't expect any luxury!
