Sardina is a great place to eat fish. You can choose from a display case full of fresh fish. They weigh your tray and prepare everything. Some things are fried, the rest on a griddle. I think it's a Moroccan concept. You get bread with a kind of pepper/tomato dip beforehand. You can also order extra fries, grilled vegetables, salad, etc. The fish soup was gone (or they didn't have it). It's a fairly small place, but it's always packed. It can be quite annoying sometimes, though, with all the crying and whining children. It's noisy. The decor is very simple and basic. The heater by the window could use a good cleaning. The food is fresh, well-prepared, and neatly presented. One point of criticism: everything tastes very bland, and yes, there's salt and pepper on the table! That's right! But a little garlic or parsley, for example, with the prawns is certainly not a luxury! Everything tastes very bland. I thought that was a shame. It could definitely be better! The door is always ajar in the morning. It won't lock. The staff works hard, but they're understaffed. Tables remain cluttered for quite some time, even though the guests have been gone for quite a while. It's a great place to eat fresh fish, but don't expect luxury!
