The food was very fresh and freshly prepared. The sashimi was very generous.

Me and my friend got take away here during our vacation in Amsterdam. It was so good we also went there the next day. The staff was incredibly kind and patient although we accidentally came in very late the second time. I truly recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi at an affordable price!

Got Lekker Sushi take out/away on a VERY hot day, and the sushi hit the spot! I ordered (and forgot to photograph) the platter with 14 pieces (nigiri, sashimi, and a roll). It was fantastic! The fish was delicious and the cuts were very generous in size. We also got a complimentary sushi plate - it was chicken of some sort and that one blew me away. I loved the crunchy bits on top! Lekker was reasonably priced and oh so tasty. I would definitely go back! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

What a fantastic experience at Lekker Sushi! We enjoyed a delicious meal with a wonderful variety of fresh sushi. The nigiri with the fried tofu, in particular, was surprising and very tasty. The quality of the fish is truly top-notch, and everything looked just as beautiful in the packaging as it did on the menu. We will definitely be ordering here more often, because this is exactly what you are looking for for a great sushi night at home. Highly recommended for every sushi lover in the area.

Absolutely outstanding experience. We ordered sushi today, and when Uber Eats was not working and the restaurant had no delivery drivers available, they personally arranged the delivery and brought it to us themselves. They even included some extra items, which was a very thoughtful touch. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and genuinely delicious. The quality was far above what I usually find in the Netherlands — honestly, one of the best sushi experiences I have had here. Excellent food, excellent service, and a team that clearly cares about its customers. Highly recommended.

I always take away sushi here! Fresh and tasty. They changed the free roll from orders over 25€ to orders over 35€ though.

Been coming here regularly but due to yesterday, I will not return. I placed my order for takeaway (3 rolls) and upon arrival they told me it is busy. Fair enough, I’ll wait. People ordering way after me were told 30-35 minutes meaning my order should be prepared within shorter time. A couple ordered for eating in, after I waited 20 min, were served within no time while I was still waiting for my order. When they finished their meal and the staff cleaned their table, I was still waiting. Delivery services walked in, collected the order and I was still waiting while it had stated online that I should have received my order by now. I walked up to them asking if my order was ready. They were talking between each other and looked at the big prepared stack of rolls behind them and chose randomly asking if I had ordered this. I showed them my receipt and they said yes this is yours. Fact that they took it from all the prepared rolls knowing I had been waiting for 1 hour made me wonder when my rolls were prepared. There was no apology, no kindness- nothing. When I reached home, I noticed they gave me different rolls than what I had ordered. Receiving the same rolls instead of the variation I chose happened last time as well so is this on purpose? Making the same rolls take less time but this is NOT how you deal with customers. The professionalism is lacking in service and handling. Too bad… i will go elsewhere from now.

I wish I could give this place a 6 star. Great amount of fish and tasty sushi. Good value of money for sure. The seasoning is also right on the point, even beating some other fancier restaurants. Friendly staff.Love it! My go to place after gym.

Our local sushi place and it never disappoints. Great quality fish, friendly guys and a free roll with bigger orders. At Christmas they even gave us complimentary chocolates and a greeting card. Super nice!

I've ordered to be picked up via their website. It was ready on the noted time, and I also received a free roll! I did not expect much, however after reading all the positive reviews I decided to try this place. It definitely did not disappoint! The fish tasted indeed fresh! the overall sushi experience was great. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Stopped in for lunch and it was excellent. The sushi was fresh, light, and perfectly portioned for midday. Best Sushi I've eaten so far. We always order for take away as the restaurant is not very atmospheric itself. The stuff is okay. Sometimes waiting is too long but this is because they are very busy. I guess that means something good.

I ordered several sushi menus as takeaway for 10 people and the food was really good. The taste is above many other places in Amsterdam and you can see that the owner is paying attention to the quality of the sushi that he's creating. It's a place that I will definitely come back to. The food is good. But their washroom doesn't have a sink to wash hands. Limited seating so your best bet is takeout.

Writing this Review while eating their Sushi. I ordered via Uber for Takeaway (2 for 1 Special) - I am just Here for a few days for work, therefore this was the most convenient for me. Don’t do that :) - Order directly with them. You get a free roll over 25 Euro purchase - so it basically results in the same, but the Money Stars with them. For the Sushi: It is really (!!) Good. The cucumber is so unbelievably crunchy, which gives a great texture to it. The Taste is also great - so definitely recommended. Moreover, they were very kind when picking the Order up. So anyone who is craving for Sushi -> Order Here (directly!) 😊

The rice was a bit too sticky, but I think that's just a personal preference. The wasabi really needs to be stronger; it tasted like it came out of a tube. The sashimi was fresh; for Adam Oost, it's a great sushi place!

Totally delicious and fresh sushi, and a really great value. For takeaway, we got the Menu 6 and they gave us a free Sake Wasabi Roll! The restaurant inside is lively and very clean. I trust the freshness of the ingredients not only by the taste, but because of the presentation of the restaurant. The sushi chefs and host at the register were friendly and inviting. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Stopped here for sushi in the small restaurant that is primarily for takeout and delivery. The food was absolutely outstanding. There was some confusion with the order (they charged us and gave us something that we didn't order). No big deal - we had too much food, but it was very good!

Friendly staff, very tasty sushi. Edamame tasted very fresh and not as salty as some other places make it. Generous portions too, especially because I didn't realize there was a deal where I got extra. Very satisfied. Edit: I hadn't been in a year, during which I ordered at several other places. I shouldn't have strayed. Lekker Sushi is in a class of its own when it comes to takeout. All the best to these hardworking guys.
