We found this place by chance. It looks like is mostly for takeout but there are 4 chairs to eat in as well. I went there twice on my visit and everytime we could sit in. The food is delicious, the lady at the cashier was very kind and smiley. I can’t wait to go back and eat more! 😀

We ordered there more than 50 times and we still always enjoy it, you are welcome with the smile and nice words. I worked 7 years in the sushi business, tasted tones of sushi places but since a few years but this is my favorite!

I went on a Saturday afternoon because of the Google reviews. It was quiet so I was in luck! Ordered my favourite salmon sashimi and their signature sushi. Lady owner was polite and service was great with free hot water refills offered for my hot tea. I would say that they’re are the most affordable quality sushi place I’ve been to here in Amsterdam and would definitely go back there again!

Very, very good sushi, the best I have tasted in Europe. That was for the cuisine, but the best part is the service, which is excellent. When you enter you are greeted by very friendly people! I highly recommend if you are passing through!

The products are fresh and easy to taste. The quantities are generous. The welcome is very nice, the people are pleasant and smiling, we feel welcome. Nothing to say, it was great!

Delicious, fresh sushi and probably the best price/quality in Amsterdam. They are also super generous. I ordered via Ubereats and asked for "a lot of wasabi" and they delivered 6 small containers of Wasabi! More than I could eat but I appreciate the gesture especially because most restaurants are quite cheap with their wasabi

First of all, the spectacular treatment, and a very clean place on a very quiet street. They have a very complete menu and the sushi was delicious. A perfect combination of flavor and texture. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable, don't delay coming!

You could taste that the sushi was fresh and the service was absolutely great! The next day we ran into her and she greeted us as if we were friends. Very nice!

You will not find a better sushi place in Amsterdam! I’ve traveled the world eating sushi, and Sushi Era remains on the top. They take pride in quality, making sure it’s fresh and prepared properly. The rice is perfect, not too sweet and just the right temperature. Avocado is always freshly served. Sushi Era are super friendly, they speak multiple languages, and make the most delicious sushi. The restaurant is perfect for to-go orders but if you want to sit inside there’s very limited availability. On my Uber Eats App I ordered from them 55 times within less than 12 months. That’s not counting the amount of times I just walked in to order. Needless to say, Sushi Era is my favorite restaurant and I became a regular.

This is hands down my favorite sushi spot in Amsterdam! The fish to rice ratio is amazing and the salmon sashimi just melts in your mouth. I’ve always gotten take-out or delivery so I can’t comment on dining in but the friendly service extends to the take-out orders too.

Why a 5? Because Amsterdam sushi takeaway wise I think it’s 4.5+. Is it Japan 5? no, but we’re not in Japan 😁 The rice ratio was good, it wasn’t stale, but soft with a bit of seasoning, which is nice. Sashimi cut well. What i felt was too much is that the special rolls all have the shrimp I did order it, but would be nice to have a more ‘raw’ special sushi rolls. Overall probably one of the best if not the best sushi takeaways I had in Amsterdam.

Hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam! + amazing price quality ratio! We tried 4 types of sushi rolls and 3 types of nigiri. Everything was delicious! Our favorite though was the flamed salmon nigiri! + fresh fish, very good prices + friendly staff. The food came very fast The place is very small and a lot of people actually came and took to go while we were there. But they were still very happy to serve us. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!

Absolutely delicious! I ordered from here this evening and I’m reviewing right after finishing my food. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The flame salmon roll was really good as was the inari and the wakame salad. Really good value for money too. Yummy! No photos because I ate it too quickly.

On Christmas Eve, we decided at the last minute to pick up sushi in the Jordaan (where I live). We have tried almost all the sushi places in the area, but this one stands head and shoulders above the rest! Despite the last-minute order just before closing time, they were super sweet and it was ready very quickly. We even got some extra!!! The sushi was delicious and the fish very fresh, I really enjoyed it! We enjoyed it... In short, for sushi in the Jordaan and surrounding areas: look no further!!!! Thanks again to the lovely owners :)
