Lemongrass Thai Takeaway 2 in Wijk 05 Oost

Food was really tasty and portions were big but the service could really improve. I get that it is a takeaway place but since they offer dine in as an option the staff there could at least be a little more friendly. Maybe we got unlucky since other reviews mentioned that they had friendly staff, but the person who served us today completely ignored us when we walked in and then barely spoke or smiled the entire time.

Authentic Thai food restaurant, you won't be disappointed if you want to eat Thai food that tastes like the one you eat in Thailand. I recommend it.

First of all, I’m Thai and I was very disappointed with my Thai chicken noodles. For 18 euros, I expected much more. According to what they posted on Thuisbezorgd, there should be chicken meatballs and even winter melon, but as you could see in my photo, none of those were there. In terms of flavor, the soup was very meh and good soup is the heart of a noodle soup. I’m posting this because I hope they will improve and do better at upholding the great reputation of thai cuisine.

Seriously the best Thai in Utrecht and Nieuwegein. Many have been done before, this one is sublime every time. You pay a little more €15 for a curry instead of €12 at most, but then you also get something. I hope they also deliver to Nieuwegein soon. UPDATE: Unfortunately, the price has increased considerably, €18 for 1x red curry with chicken and €7 for 3 spring rolls.

Good food. If it says spicy, it really is spicy! If you eat in the restaurant, you will also be charged a plastic surcharge and a deposit. Please let us know if you do not agree with this and it will be resolved properly.

4 times before it was always very tasty, now it was less than mediocre. The vegetables with oyster sauce and chicken were actually not very tasty, almost flat Pity. Unclear why this happened to us. We are now driving 25 km to pick it up... then it must be REALLY DELICIOUS. The tampoera shrimp were good. Paul R.

Goede curries, 3 verschillende curries besteld, alle drie lekker, alhoewel één onze favoriet was. Goede authentieke Thaise smaak. Erg vriendelijke Thaise koks. Hier maak je je familie blij mee.

Wij hebben hier een lekkere thaise curry afgehaald. (Wij namen de groene). Jammer dat alles in plastic verpakt wordt. Als ze overgaan om karton of compostable verpakkingen komen we hier zeker terug.

Wij bestellen vaak bij Lemongrass. Altijd goed, snel en ontzettend lekker! Wij zijn fan 🫶🏻

We had a great meal at Lemongrass. It’s definitely more geared to takeaways but we had a lovely sit down meal. The food came quickly and portions were very generous. The Phad Thai was delicious, some of the best I’ve had!

Little gem of a takeaway (or eat in) with traditional Thai cooks, cooking authentic Thai home made food. Very very nice people.

Not shy with portions, and a ton of beef! Fast delivery with UE. The Massaman was a little on the sweet side for my taste so could do with some added freshness/sour to cut through the richness.

Super aardige mensen, heerlijk eten voor een schappelijke prijs. Zeker een aanrader, en ik kom er zelf ook zeker terug.

We didn't enjoy our meal at all. The "Tom Kha" soup was too sweet and so was the "Pad Thai". The "Red Curry" was completely off and terrible. The "Pad Prik" was decent though.
