This was my second time here, and once again the food was fantastic! We ordered the Kai Massaman, which was absolutely delicious; it's always good. Definitely recommended! Our server, Hasnat, was super friendly and really listened to our suggestions. That made it even more enjoyable. In short: a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!✨

The food was very tasty. We just had to wait a long time for both the drinks and the food. We waited over an hour for the starter. That was a shame. When the food finally arrived, it was really tasty!

Doesn’t get better! Sarv and Aysuda, our waiters, were very nice and attentive. It’s hard not to recommend this place more. Sitting on the canal anywhere in Utrecht is so extraordinary. Pair that with amazing Thai food and it is an amazing evening.

Had a great meal with a dozen fellow Thailand goers; we all remembered what the food was like there, and this came pretty close. Very good red curry/beef. Service very helpful, everything has to be in English. A bit pricey but it is in a popular location.

Super slow service and hidden fees. They charged for bringing tap water, €3.50 per litre. And charged for rice which should be included. Took 30 minutes to bring one round of drinks and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Used to really like this restaurant but won't be returning anymore.

Fantastic food, we eat regularly at a Thai restaurant but we both said after a few bites: this was without a doubt the best one so far. Divine flavors, we had the Nua Massaman (pieces of beef with a delicious creamy mild sauce with coconut and coriander) and the Kaeng Fuk Thong (vegetarian, with pieces of pumpkin in a mild-spicy creamy sauce). With a Thai beer we were very happy. What a discovery!

Wow. Just, wow. I never write reviews but Mahanakorn’s excellent service and food really inspired something in me. My servers were thoughtful, attentive, and kept coming to the table to ask what we wanted. The food was spicy, but we got good recommendations on what was would fit for us. Excellent food and setting! Went here on a social deal. So the price was amazing for all the food and hospitality. The staff is very courteous (a few served us, but the Pakistani gentleman, especially). We came at a busy moment, so a bit of orders being mixed up, but nothing that wasn't speedily fixed. Pretty plates and bowls/dishes, filled with plenty of food. So a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.

Very nice service and tasty food!

Eten is goed, bediening niet. Beetje rommelige zaak. WIjn besteld (3 speciale op de kaart), duurde een tijd en moest er om vragen waar dat die bleef en toen werd gezegd dat ze deze niet meer hadden. Andere keuze wijn was matig. Moesten paar keer de bediening attenderen om gerechten te bestellen. Eten was goed en lekker.

Visit with friends and its first time thai food i eat in Netherlands and it was really great experience . I tried thood man khawpood and tahoe phad phrik the tast was really good, the guy and girl were really attentive they kept visiting to ask what we need which made us feel really respected. I would really like to visit it again.

Food was great. Service was okay but the food was served almost an hour.

As far as Thai cuisine is concerned, the food is very ordinary. The fried dough is not bad, but the fillings are completely deducted. Only the fried meatballs are okay, but they are a bit spicy. Those who don't like spicy food may not be able to do it. Accept, the soy products (tofu?) in the vegetable dishes are not good in texture and taste. The curry tastes okay, but the beef is cut into quite small pieces and is slightly burnt. The main reason is that the location where the restaurant is located has a very good atmosphere, especially at night, which is more romantic. If you come here to dine, you don't have to look forward to the food, but the service and atmosphere are good.

We were taken so long to serve that we had to get it as takeaway. Very expensive on top of that and the food just OK, not a good experience.

I don't often write a bad review, but Mahanakorn gets the honor. The intention will be good, but the execution will be dramatic. Very long wait for food, my tablemate got another drink without asking because the other one had run out 🤯. And between courses (which were really not complicated, because the choice was limited due to the social deal) we had to wait a very long time. The soup came after an hour, and was ok. Delicious entree. The main curry was filled with large chunks of zucchini, tofu (I ordered chicken) and lacked essential ingredients of a good green Thai curry such as Thai basil, galanga root, etc. I quickly devoured dessert. I won't be coming back here again

Good Thai food. Made a last minute reservation here and we will definitely come back here! Nice and pleasant host (and other service), sometimes a bit chaotic but that is 'part of the experience'! The Thai chicken meatballs in red curry were especially delicious! Absolutely recommended!

A really great place to eat! The service was great, the food arrived quickly and the price/quality ratio is perfect. The shrimp I had were well fried and I got a lot of them, especially for the price. My blackhead's chicken was also delicious. It is also fun people watching on and behind the canal. Recommended!
