Had a delicious cappuccino with pastry. Had a lovely dinner out. Highly recommended.. Married for 12.5 years and went out for a nice, familiar meal...

We went for an asparagus menu: one with salmon, one with beef. Fries are included; everything else—such as sauce or anything other than fries, etc.—is an extra. The basic wine was not to our taste; the slightly more expensive one suited us better. We had a delicious meal, the service was impeccable, and it is definitely worth a repeat visit.

Three friends and I went to the Breakfast Club at Liesbeth’s Grand Café in Horst and really enjoyed ourselves. The menu features dishes to share, as well as smaller individual dishes. We chose to share everything, which meant we ended up tasting almost the entire menu. Everything was very tasty and beautifully presented. The dishes looked well-presented and the flavors were good. The location itself is also beautiful: a lovely establishment with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff really did their best, which was nice to see. We stayed from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and it truly felt like a fun outing. The price-quality ratio is very good. As far as we are concerned, this is highly recommended for girlfriends, with parents/grandparents, or really anyone. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

It is actually quite a nice restaurant. It is a shame they have a manager who apparently does his job with great reluctance. His face was like a thundercloud; he didn't say a word while we were ordering. He just noted down what we wanted and disappeared. Not exactly customer-friendly. Our table was still full of crockery and food scraps from the previous customers; it wasn't even cleared away all that time, yuck…. Furthermore, tables on the terrace are also reserved, which results in quite a few people walking away. Even though the reservation was only 1.5 hours later according to the card, we were not allowed to sit at those tables. Eventually, no one showed up at two tables at all. In short: Nicely decorated restaurant Coffee and pastries were fine too However, the feeling that you are actually welcome could definitely use some improvement. We used to come here often in the past, and back then the service was much friendlier.

Food was delicious, staff friendly, worth a trip

The first impression was very good. Everything went smoothly. Or rather, everything seemed to go smoothly. After the starter, it took 40 minutes and we still hadn't received our main course. When I asked about it, it took another 10 minutes. I have no hard evidence, but given the speed with which the other guests received their food, I think ours had been forgotten. Next, we had to ask for cutlery ourselves. And the large Coke Zero was well over 4 months past its expiration date..... Once we finally got the food, however, it was fine, so that made up for the wait somewhat. Unfortunately, it is not worth repeating.

We had a fantastic evening at Lisbeth's Grand Café! The burgers were absolutely first-class – you could really taste the quality of the 100% beef; they were delicious and perfectly prepared. The service also deserves special mention: the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and we felt completely at ease. The ambiance is beautiful and inviting. There's also a wide selection of food and drinks, so there's something for everyone. You can sit both inside and outside. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Very bad food, everything reheated, the fried potatoes reheated, the steak very bad, mushrooms disgusting. The potatoes and fries are included in the meal and you have to pay for everything separately, very bad place, never going there again.

Beautiful building with a lovely, characteristic interior. Breakfast was good. The staff clearly needed a bit of time to get going, though.

We had a drink at Liesbeth's on a weekday evening. The atmosphere (it was too cold outside) could be described as cozy. The lighting is dimmed and the interior is a bit on the dark side. This makes it feel snug and comfortable; a living room atmosphere. Nowadays, you can order at the table via QR code, but the staff (very old-fashioned ;) also simply comes over to ask if everything is to your liking. I cannot judge the food, as we didn't have anything, but I do understand why Liesbeth's Grand Cafe has been a popular spot for years. For many customers, it probably feels like coming home, and this is reinforced by the hardworking and friendly staff.

We had a wonderful time on Easter Sunday. Reserving a table online was super easy. We were given a friendly welcome, enjoyed tasty beers, and there was a wide selection of food. We didn't feel rushed at all; everything was relaxed. Highly recommended!

The staff is excellent and does their best. They take questions about allergies seriously and consult with the chef. Prompt service.

Food was good and prices are not high I especially recommend Spicy chicken burger.Best burger !! But the service was bad I was with my girlfriend waiting for waiters for a long time I needed to order twice some drinks because they forget about us and I was asking for the bill 💵 3 times at the end 🤣🤣 so Yes a very good place but the service is bad 😞.

Our family of five had a wonderful meal. The service was friendly and courteous. We had a pleasant evening.

The food was delicious. The service was particularly poor; upon arrival, we were ignored by about five employees. We were given a table that had been reserved for a later date, so with that in mind, we wanted to order something ahead of time. We were again ignored by almost every employee, who stood at a table next to us playing on their phones. After about half an hour, someone came to ask if we wanted to order something. The answer we got was, "It depends on what you order whether you'll make it in time." The food arrived quickly and was delicious. But paying was also a hassle; no one came, and when we went to the bar ourselves, no one even asked how the food was.

Did an escape room here. We had a drink beforehand. That took a while, so we ended up starting the room later, which wasn't a problem. The room was very nice and well-designed, but the lighting was a bit lacking here and there, and the support felt a bit stiff and wasn't always relevant. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish it within the allotted time, but we were allowed to finish it, which I thought was a big plus. There were six of us, but four would have been better, I think. Unfortunately, there was no room in the cafe to chat after the escape room, which was a shame.

The food and service were good until the manager, without any communication, just put a plate on the table that had been booked five minutes earlier! I confronted the manager about why he put the plate there and didn't communicate it. His reaction was absolutely outrageous😕 . Did we even know we'd been occupying the table for a while without a drink? (Do I have to order so many drinks per hour?) It was truly rude. I've worked in hospitality myself; the customer is king, and if you want people to leave, give them a polite explanation. It wasn't like there wasn't a table available. What was supposed to be positive ended in a very negative way.

Enjoy the cozy seating in the conservatory, with attention to detail for food and drinks. Beautifully presented. Always drink with a slice of lemon. A little more like home.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was also pleasant. Friendly service. The only downside: there's no changing station. Only a mat that you can place on a small surface near the sink.

Had lunch with my sister and mother. I had brie with ham, my sister had an omelet, and my mother had a small soup, a small croquette, and a small salad. I would recommend the omelet. We each had coffee and tea. Coffee and Capernacino come with a delicious liqueur with whipped cream; it's a shame this wasn't served with the tea. Another minor drawback is that the brie with ham, honey, and arugula came with regular peanuts. For this price, walnuts should have been included, as was the case before. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect—not too noisy, it was easy to chat, and the location is absolutely fantastic.

The food and atmosphere were great. It's a shame the white wine was old. And I was sitting at a table with a rough edge, which resulted in my brand-new sweater getting all snagged. I can throw that away right now.

Our family had a wonderful meal. Our youngest had a croissant and wanted cervelat on it, which wasn't included. The kitchen served a plate overflowing with cervelat. A happy child. Thank you.

The staff did their best, but we had to wait a very long time before they asked if we wanted something to drink, it took a very long time before they came to clear the table, and we didn't get the potatoes we ordered even though we pointed this out.

We had another great evening here with the bowling club! It's a very atmospheric spot in Horst with delicious food. The local troubadour was also there, which made the experience even better.

The service was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere inside was good. The conservatory is a bit sparse, perhaps due to the high ceiling. The food was okay. The salad with spicy chicken wasn't anything special. The chicken wasn't spicy at all, and the lettuce, cucumber, and pineapple weren't dressed with any dressing. The burger was fine, though a bit dry. The ice cream and the unique citrus-custard balls were delicious! The food earned the 3 stars.

The food is fresh and delicious. But personally, I would serve the shattered platter with a plate (for the mushrooms) and skewers (for the olives)—that makes it a bit easier to eat.

On a Saturday evening, we still had a table on the covered terrace, which is a pleasant place to sit. The aperitif was delicious, as were the other drinks. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. There was nothing wrong with it, the risotto was a bit dry, but the flavor left us neither warm nor cold. The service, however, was excellent.

We ordered a 12-hour meal with French onion soup, and the man immediately said we didn't have that, even though it was on the menu. It wasn't bad at all and was quite good. But the service, especially this middle-aged man, was really unfriendly and slightly racist towards us, probably because I have a tan. This person came by regularly and gave us a look like, "Aren't you leaving yet?" My wife and I quickly finished our 12-hour meal and immediately asked for the bill, again from the same person who couldn't even begin to have a good day. It's a real shame that such people work in a beautiful restaurant with this bad attitude.

Fantastic! We ate here on Thursday and will definitely be back! The service was very friendly and kept a close eye on everything, asking if everything was to our liking, etc. We had a half portion of nachos as a starter—don't be fooled, they're still quite large! My main course was the Italian schnitzel, a nice size piece of meat, with arugula, mushrooms, and Parmesan cheese. It came with curly fries for a small extra charge. My partner had the Bali schnitzel and was also happy with his choice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!
