Limburgs Lunch & Diner Café in Wijk 01 Boshoven

We went out for dinner with 11 people. It was quite challenging with such a large group, but it went really well: we enjoyed a delicious meal from the menu. The food was nice and hot and presented beautifully. The kids even got a coloring page while they waited and a separate children's menu. Absolutely fantastic!

IMPOSSIBLE Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because we weren't served at all. We were simply overlooked, and all the guests who arrived after us had already received their orders. We were at the table for about 20 minutes. Even when we asked, we were told to wait until a colleague came, who never showed up. Once and never again. We simply left!

Definitely not recommended. The restaurant closes at 9:00 PM. It was 8:20 PM when we tried to order just some drinks for the terrace. The grumpy staff who took our order made us feel unwelcome, what a terrible attitude. Then we received our order, and the door was simply slammed shut and locked at 8:30 PM. I also work as a hospitality manager. Definitely do something about this; this is no way to treat guests.

The restaurant has a gluten-free menu, and the jackfruit lunch was delicious. Unfortunately, when we dined with a small group of three people with different dietary requirements, things didn't quite work out. We'll try again at a quieter time in the future.

How the food is prepared and cooked depends on the chef. One day you get one thing and the next day the chef changes and so does the food. Different way of being cooked and differemt ingredients in the same plates depending on fhe employees wotking that day. It is not consistent and surprising as you think you are ordering the same food but its different. Food should remain the same when cooks or chefs change. On top of that they added paprika to the burger that wasn't on the menu and when we said I cannot eat this they denied the burger had paprika. We were with 3 people and all of us tasted the paprika in the burger. Big red flag if they deny it and you are allergic. It even had green pieces of bell pepper and when we said 3 people taste paprika so you cannot say its not in there, then they tried to pass it as jalapeno, which 1 it wasn't as it didn't taste hot at all and 2, jalapeno is from the same family as bell peppers.

They forget your order and make you wait with 2 disabled people and find it annoying when you ask something. I have been coming here for more than 30 years on holiday. The schnitzel were made of rubber and the salmon was dry. After waiting for 2 hours, we had to wait 20 minutes for the new salmon, so everything else was cold. Shame on us. We are still here for another week.

I had to wait an hour for my food and it still wasn't cooked through.

The snack platter is very pricey for what you get. I've had much more extensive and delicious snack platters for less money. Definitely won't be returning here again.

First and last time I bought a hot chocolate with whipped cream it spilled over me and burned me very badly, no staff came to see how it was going while they clearly saw it happening and got angry that the cup was broken, bye bye €4

High-priced can be the first to mention. We first went to the restaurant to eat schnitzel, the schnitzel and the fries were good. The sauce doesn't matter which one, in my opinion it's straight out of the bag. All in all, expensive but OK. The next day: The buffet was great 2 years ago and we were thrilled, unfortunately this year with a different concept it was just terrible. 38 euros for canteen food that has nothing to do with Asian. There wasn't even soy sauce with the spring rolls. The Chinese noodles were exactly like those from the supermarket freezer. So next time we'll go look for a restaurant in the next town.

Didn't have dinner. But we regularly went for the cappuccino with pie. Large pie slices, which is a good thing considering the prices.

We sat on the terrace several times during our stay at the Weeterbergs. Service was good, but it was confusing that one time you have to pay for your drinks immediately and the next time you can pay when you leave. Furthermore, friendly and fast service.

The restaurant has deteriorated considerably in recent years, for dinner and then the main menu only a choice of 4 dishes, 2 of which are salads. Food was not tasty. Don't know if there is another owner, but it was great 6 months ago. Last year it was less, and this year it is really crappy and expensive, we will no longer eat here when we are at Roompot Weerterbergen. From now on we will drive to Weert for a nice restaurant.

Missed the lady with her waffle cart. Always enjoyed having her there. Weerterbergen now has its own waffle and ice cream corner.

The beef burger was sold out on a Friday evening!!! The menu also said Fish & Chips, so I ordered that. Very disappointing, because with Fish & Chips you don't expect Captain Igloo from the freezer. We have nothing to comment about the chicken satay, it was just good, as we are used to in the Netherlands. Not expensive, but on the pricey side. If you get captain igloo frozen fish, then yes, you will feel cheated. Service was reasonably friendly, but they didn't look around properly and everything took a very long time. The wrong drinks were also brought and dessert was forgotten and we had to ask for it again later. The table was only wiped after we asked for it. Shame.

We were here on a Thursday for the Weeerterbergen buffet. This is one of the three buffets offered. For a good price we had all you can eat and drink, even with beer (be careful, it foams extremely when poured) and wine. The employees were very friendly, the food was delicious and was replenished regularly. From soup to salad, main courses, side dishes, extra children's meals, fruit and dessert, there was everything you could wish for. Unfortunately, nothing was labeled, so it was difficult to guess what it was (a portion of fish that I accidentally mistook for chicken unfortunately ended up in the trash). You have a beautiful view of the lake and can use the offer for 2 hours. (November 2022)

Delicious lunch, friendly staff. I had the oriental chicken sandwich (without the bun) and my son had a ham and cheese sandwich. Very luxurious and more than enough. In short, definitely pay a visit while you are in the park.

Food is ok. The burgers were very good. The zoervliesj (or however you spell it) was a bit on the bland side. Drinks took a while to arrive. It was also less pleasant that 3/4 different employees came to work. This also includes people who do not speak Dutch well. The latter, the part that does not speak Dutch well, is not in itself a very big problem. You just don't expect this if you have 2 employees who speak Dutch.

It is not possible to order main courses before 5 p.m., a shame for an international holiday park where people leave and arrive at irregular hours. So you miss out on customers and send them to the neighbors.

A very nice facility especially for children

We had the all-in buffet and it was not really tasty. Soft ice machine didn't work and we still had to pay for a scoop of ice cream. Expensive for what it is, which is a shame because the park is super nice!

Extremely dry schnitzel with muddy fried potatoes with only a few onions and no vegetables. I don't expect haute cuisine but this was really substandard. Skipped dessert and coffee just to be on the safe side.

Food was ok. Service is friendly but not at all smooth. We sat with the dirty plates on the table for a very long time. Maybe because we sat in a separate corner and were a bit forgotten. We would have liked to sit a little longer and order desserts and something to drink, but it really took too long. We did get an apology afterwards, but if you are with a group and spend well over 200 euros, we expected a nicer dinner.

The terrace looked cozy, large video screen to watch football and F1 under parasols that protect you from the strong sun rays. Surrounded by the Sports Café, swimming pool, bicycle rental, supermarket, kiosk, snack bar and restaurant with partial view of the pond where you can also go pedal boating.

Friendly staff, and it looks pretty neat. But you get very little food for a lot of money. You can't even get rid of a ball of salad. Good thing the cafeteria was opposite.

Their icecream is amazing! Huge amount and tastes great! Mango flavour was with actual mango, ice really tasted like a Mango. The ice is supposed to be a dessert. I cannot imagine eating anything after this, it was really filling. We wondered if everyone would always get this much.
