NEVER order a poke bowl here. For the same price, you can get three times the size of this poke bowl at Onori or Sushito, with much better ingredients. Imagine the smallest poke bowl ever... This one is even smaller! Embarrassing.

Wij hadden eten besteld. Op de flyer staat dat ze geen bezorgkosten rekenen, bij bestelling boven €30,00 een gratis drankje en bij elke bestelling gratis kroepoek. Van al het bovenstaande is niets gerealiseerd. Bezorgkosten €2,00. De rest zat er niet bij.

I made a reservation well in advance to eat at Lin's Kitchen before a show. However, I couldn't find the reservation anywhere, so I tried calling a few days beforehand. No answer. I sent an email, but didn't get a response. I tried calling again the next day, but still no answer. I sent another email, but also didn't get a response. So, I drove there the next day, hoping for a change. When we arrived at the door, we weren't sure if it was even open, as it was quite dark inside and the windows were quite dusty. It turned out the door was open, so we went in anyway and asked what was going on. "I'd called outside of opening hours and she hadn't seen either of my emails, but hey, we could still eat." Okay... In the dark, with no music, and with open garbage bags and echoes as filler... Oh well, we sat down anyway (at the dirty tables, by the way) and wanted to book the boat that looked so good on the website. Well, that wasn't available! At that point, my patience was gone for a moment, so we went looking for something else to eat. So I can't judge the quality of the food, but I can judge the restaurant itself. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'm guessing Lin's Kitchen is a bygone era. It used to be a really nice restaurant, but now they mainly do delivery. Fine, but please indicate that on your website. Update your information to reflect the current situation. This was a complete fiasco. The owner was kind enough to direct us to the competitor, though, so that bit of service was actually very good.

I ordered from them for home delivery, the first and last time. I waited two hours for my order, then I called them to hear that "the rolls are finished, we forgot to call you to tell you"

Where should I start… we arrived there and were the only guests, which could imply that they would actually serve us and take up our order. Not really. We then went up to the bar area to order the food, and apparently they have 2 menus with 2 different numbers / dishes for the numbers. So we got something we did not order. Well, okay at this point we were done anyways but at the end of the day the sushi was even missing ingredients (when you advertise a roll with mango, it would be nice to get the mango). Food also came in the most random order because even for a total amout of 2 guests the order of 4 different sushi rolls was apparently too much for the kitchen to handle. Besides all of this the place was freezing cold, so all in all: I would defintely not recommend.

We ordered food online. To our surprise, we didn't receive rice with the teppanyaki this time. When we called, we learned that rice is no longer available due to staff shortages. It's not listed on the website, and the prices haven't been adjusted. This is the last time we order food from Lin Kitchen.

Everything what I eat there was delicious: fresh sushi always, 10/10 poke bowls so good ! 10/10 And last time i tried Japanse udon met kip (noodles with chicken ans vegetables) also good 8/10 but i have to say my favorite simple dish is Huisgemaakte loempia's i love them I've never eaten better 1000/10 Overall i can compare this restaurant with UMAI in Delft Always fresh !!!

Eten was ok. Sfeer was er niet, had het idee dat er maar 1 persoon werkte, ontvangst niet heel gastvrij, geen mogelijkheid tot pinnen dus moest cash halen bij de pinautomaat. Wc was licht kapot en beetje viezig. Al met al was ik afgegaan op de goede reviews dus wilde graag deze info toevoegen want vond het bij lang na geen 5 sterren waard. Beetje aparte zaak... voor afhaal zal het prima zijn.

Never ordered food again, it arrived completely open and dirty with sauce, that can happen if you come with a moped, but then the food itself was bami tasteless, the meat was overcooked, I'm not a whiner about food, but we threw it straight into the dumpster, never again. more yuck yuck

It is certainly not all you can eat. The price is higher, but so is the quality. The dishes are freshly prepared and of high quality. The atmosphere is not particularly pleasant. You really come there to enjoy tasty food. The service is friendly. Recommended!

Walked in with only 30 minutes to grab a quick dinner before seeing a theater show at the theater across the street. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sushi. Atmosphere could have been better as they did not have the heating on (understandable due to the current gas price) but with -6°c outside it was rather cold. Recommend it for a quick snack.

My go to sushi place. Always fresh sushi and fast delivery! Highly recommended.

Had a delicious meal here, not all you can eat, but you can really eat good food here for a reasonable price. Food is really freshly prepared and the service is super friendly! One of the better sushi restaurants... some in Rotterdam are not nearly as good as this one.

Little food for too much money. I don't think the costs are a problem, but for €60 I expect more. So quantity versus price is disappointing. Fortunately it tasted good. Still, I won't order here anymore because good food can also be had elsewhere!

Always delicious food. The Chicken Curry, Korean Beef and Sesame Chicken meals are especially great. Mie meals too, delicious! And delivered quickly. Recommended!!

Ordered at 5:15 PM. Called at 7:40 and 8:30 PM to ask where our food was. Both times we were severely turned away and we were spoken to with a very rude "yes". Unfortunately, the lady on the phone also had very poor Dutch, which made the conversation even more difficult. Ultimately we decided to cancel the order. When we got the lady on the phone again and wanted to pass this on, she told us exactly the same thing we had heard before. "The delivery guys are almost back and our food will be here in half an hour." Since we had already heard this twice and it was almost 4 hours later, we still wanted to cancel. Then the phone hung up in the middle of my sentence. It is of course understandable if it is busy at times, but waiting 4 hours and then also having poor telephone service is a shame.

Ordered sushi and 3 main courses. The sushi ordered tasted freshly prepared and was indeed crispy. We also thought the main courses were well prepared, with delicious fresh vegetables and tender meat. Price quality was fine. We will definitely order again, you pay a little more but the food is also very tasty...

Ordered for the first time tonight with the family. Sushi was basically good. Only the tuna was old. It had a very strong fishy smell. I've never smelled it like that on tuna. So, we called Lins Kitchen to discuss whether we could get a discount or perhaps exchange it. That was impossible. All sushi was already gone (at 8 o'clock)????? and they couldn't arrange anything. Too bad the tuna was old. And it's completely bad that the manager just doesn't arrange anything. We will never come back. I recommend Hamachi. Better sushi and MUCH better service. All the tuna went straight into the garbage bin.

Only experience with delivery and it is great. Poké bowls are very tasty and fresh. Not filled with lettuce, as often happens elsewhere. The ratio of rice and ingredients could be slightly better (more ingredients and less rice, which is very tasty). Sushi also fine. And with orders above 20 euros, a bag of tasty prawn crackers is included for free. Delivery on time and by a lovely gentleman.

The worst sushi ever!! With roll filled with panko (never seen before) we order a big meal with thuisbesorgd (50€) and we got only 2 mini soya souce bags, definitely not enough... and the sushi was lucking like it came out the freezer.. never again

Ontvangst was heel fijn, hapjes waren stuk voor stuk heerlijk en de bediening erg aardig. Bij afrekenen kregen we nog een rode roos mee voor Valentijn! Echt een aanrader om eens te gaan eten.

Update: N.a. My last visit to Lin Kitchen changed my contribution (from 5 to 1 star). They are not transparent about their ingredients. The staff contradict each other!

We bezochten een platen beurs welke vlak voor de deur was. Even een snelle lunch werd een feestje. Vers, smaakvol en wat een keuze. En ook nog heel betaalbaar.

Fantastische sushi en grill. Keurig vriendelijk personeel, de chef komt de creaties serveren, geweldig. Heerlijk gegeten met zijn tweetjes en nadien nog een tegoedbon ontvangen voor de volgende keer, leuk detail. Niet te vergelijken met de reguliere ketens, vele malen beter. Prima parkeren in nabij gelegen abc parkeergarage👍🏼. Kom graag nog eens bij Lin terug. Aanrader is het menu💪🏼

I have now had lunch there 3 times and once in the evening, everything was tasty, warm, fresh, tasty. Very good food and the quantity is also fine. Small language barrier but the staff is friendly and patient, even with an extremely annoying lady; a portion of soup at home turned out not to be as expected and while the staff offered solutions she moaned and sighed loudly for 20 minutes, even after the chef gave her new soup for free; she ate it and left without saying "thank you" or anything. Sigh. The staff remained polite and correct, kudos. I couldn't have done it.

What an asset to the city center of Schiedam! Good fresh sushi of top quality. Really delicious. Prices per person do not differ much from those of all you can eat. At Lin Kitchen you get much better food and more attention and service from the staff. Continue to maintain these qualities and your business will flow automatically.
