Lin Wah in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

We've been guests since the restaurant opened over 30 years ago. It's still DELICIOUS. And after the recent renovation, with beautiful new tableware, it's a modern yet traditional Chinese restaurant. The catering options are also excellent and you can customize everything yourself.

The food was incredibly delicious! The service was attentive, friendly, and excellent. We had the Thi Phaan special: fantastic (#72). We celebrated our wedding dinner there 19 years ago; it remains a truly excellent and cozy restaurant! Reservations are recommended, highly recommended! Parking is available in front (disc) and there's no paid parking!

Good Food, friendly staff. Kids friendly menu with various options to choose from. They accommodated for our baby as well!

I recently had a delicious meal at Lin Wah in Almere. The dishes were authentic and flavorful, just what you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant. Everything was served quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience very pleasant. The interior could be a bit more inviting and atmospheric, but thankfully, that didn't detract from the quality of the food. For anyone looking for delicious Asian food in Almere, Lin Wah is definitely recommended!

Very good Chinese Indonesian restaurant in Almere with an extensive menu

We ate there on March 28th. I had sliced beef tenderloin, which I'm very doubtful about. The meat was tough and not very warm. It also had noodles, which weren't very warm either... My husband had an egg dish that was floating in a sweet sauce. The meat also had mushrooms in it, which I don't like. They say everything has mushrooms in it, so you have to specify that. Adding one rule that everything has mushrooms in it, so people can indicate they don't want mushrooms, is a small effort. The broccoli was hard; the food there has always been very good, but this time I found it very disappointing. The price wasn't bad either. So I'm done with Lin Wah for now.

A huge disappointment. Not worth repeating. This was also mentioned at checkout, but it's not important.

Excellent restaurant with tasty food and good service

We had a delicious meal here yesterday. All the dishes are well-seasoned, and the spicy dishes are truly delicious!👍 The service was very attentive and good. The atmosphere and ambiance could be a bit more inviting; the surroundings aren't great either, but of course, the restaurant can't do anything about that. One small point for improvement: the fake whipped cream from a can used for the desserts is really not good. Perhaps they could increase the price by €0.50 and just use real, fresh whipped cream.

Been coming here for at least 35 years and it's always good. Staff works hard and is always friendly.

They clearly have a completely different chef than a few months ago. I think the dishes have gotten worse, very bland and the vegetables are not as before, for example the curry sauce in the chicken with curry is very watery. The food is very bland. We'll order it again at New Beijing or go back to Lucky Garden in Reigersbos Amsterdam Zuid-Oost and have a nice meal there.

A nice restaurant with good food and friendly owner/host. The lady who was our host was a bit hostile initially but then was she was very helpful to choose the dishes and suggested the quantity too when we kind of tend to order more. As a vegetarian I had some issues with the noodles tasted a bit different (may be oil or something used) hence a star less for food. But if you love fish and you are a non-vegetarian then this is a must try restaurant.

Offers menu normally fine, but spring rolls were really not OK... Limp reheated snack, only bean sprouts and chicken. We won't do that again...

I was the only client in the restaurant. I only odered a soup and siau mai, I had to wait almost 30mins. Not even some crackers ship for the inconvinience was offered.

Food was really there within 15 minutes! The service was great, they helped me very well when I had questions. Furthermore, the food was really delicious!! A small price but great food! 10/10 recommend!!!

Ordered from Linwah, but had to be in Almere for Linwah, I spent 75 euros and they didn't even give me my money back, even though they can see at my address that I'm from Almere! Not customer friendly, hung up because they were busy! No food and no money back! It's nice and easy to earn money this way and I just heard from Linwah in Almere that they often experience this when people accidentally order from the wrong Linwah!! Classic Chinese in the MZW. Lin Wah has been around for as long as I can remember eating Chinese. Takeout is always solid, the food in the restaurant is underrated.

Food is okay. Delivery was rubbish. We called well after the delivery time (which in my opinion was already long, longer than usual at other restaurants) and the food was not yet on its way.

Super-fast monthly menu prepared

Good and tasty Chinese food that I would definitely come back for more often. It can be very busy and sometimes you have to wait a while for your order. I ordered before 6:30 PM, it arrived at 6:25 PM and I didn't receive my food until 6:42 PM. But like I said, the food is really tasty.

Order is not delivered in full and the restaurant cannot deliver it within the hour. Refuse to refund money for undelivered products.

Placed an order with 6 people, of which 2 dishes for people were missing. Called and was promised that it would be there after 30 minutes. unfortunately we had to wait an hour for this. Unfortunately, money back was not an option before it was delivered and the phone was hung up. The service is downright disgraceful.

We have been coming here for years, had not been for a while due to circumstances, but saw that the restaurant had been renovated and decided to visit the restaurant again. A good choice, what a great Chinese restaurant this is. Friendly service and delicious food. I almost dare to say that this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Netherlands. The renovation was very successful, modern but super attractive. We'll visit again soon.

Very sweet owners, you are always treated well here. We get something here almost every week. Recommended are the dry fried chicken, pork belly and the noodles noodle soup! 好好吃！

Ended up here by chance on the way from the Randstad to Dronten. And what luck, because we will be going here more often from now on. Nice restaurant for Chinese food

First of all a little story. Me and my brother in law on a super rainy day. We're looking for a Chinese place to in the first place get take out from. One shop for whatever reason was closed on a tuesday. Another shop didn't look very clean and the food really look appetizing at all. A third shop having a 30min waiting time because it was all you can eat. And finally we came to a shop that half a snackbar and half a takeout chinese which, just from the smell was a no go. We googled a bit and found out about this place. From the reviews and pictures, it seemed decent enough.So we called and asked if there was any spot left to eat because we were so tired.We want to eat in instead of getting takeout. Luckily there was a spot left so we came in.And got seats instantly by a very nice lady that was sitting in the register. Looking at the menu , we saw that there was quite a lot of different items on the menu. Primarily you could swap between rice, noodles etc. Also, to note that this is not a traditional Chinese restaurant.In my opinion, it's more of a mix of the surinamese-chinese kitchen. So thats why some people left a "this isnt authentic chinese food remark". We went whit the fried rice and ketchap pork as per reccomendation of the staff. And let me tell you. This dish is MIGHTY. Its salty (even too if eaten alone). But if mixed with the rice its balanced and adictive. We contemplated getting a 2nd serving but our sodium levels would prob be trough the roof. Speaking to the waiter the restaurant has been in service for a decade or two. Whith my brother in law going there for the first time in the 15years he lived there. The atmosphere itself isnt anything special, but its cosey and sufficient. Neat but not suit inducing. Price wise i cant fault it either. Will definetly return here for that oh so sweet ketchap beef dish. And of course the lovely staff.

We have ordered food here far too often, it is delivered on time. Only the contents of the containers are always disappointing, especially the Peking duck. The containers are three-quarters full of bean sprouts with a thin layer of Peking duck. When we called about this, they already replied that we should not order Peking duck. Scandalous!

Food was very good. Duck was excellent. We don’t speak or read Dutch so the menu was challenging. I should have downloaded a scanner translator. I’m not sure how authentic anything was - but I can only compare it to NYC Chinatown which I always enjoy. Big selection, fresh ingredients, friendly prompt service.

The spring roll was not good, almost no egg and it was not crispy, the noodles Singapore was not good either. We will not go there again.

Nasi very bad. Just wash white rice. Well, don't eat raw vegetables. Spring roll 1 piece of chicken. Furthermore filled with raw bean sprouts. Never had such a bad Chinese. If I had eaten at the restaurant I would have had everything taken back. Bah never again.

Really!!! After years of boycotting this place, I thought I'd give them another chance. What a disappointment ! First waited an hour for the order and then received half an order. The person on the phone was very unfriendly and informed me that it will take some time before my other half of the order is delivered, so another hour. The pinnacle, the reason for the boycott.... the gado gado was filled with only bean sprouts and guess what it was filled with again..... only bean sprouts 12.50 for a bowl of bean sprouts with peanut sauce LIN BAH you are still thieves!!!!

After reading mixed reviews, we decided to try it... as a true lover of Chinese food (different places every week) I can say with certainty that this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life. Damn never again bah bah. I strongly advise against this

You can order online and then pick up, which is really super organized. The food is plentiful and super tasty. Especially the Foe jong hai and babi pangang were delicious.

Had dinner on Sunday (babi pangang) meat already tasted strange and in the evening it became bad and still is, first time there and will never go there again.

Food is fine but the service could be better. Waited a long time before the dessert menu was brought.

Well the weekly menu is a mockery. Menu a soup of your choice. That is good, nasi with spicy sauce is also tasty, but the babi pangang is so dry, the meat that should be tender seems to be stringy. How is that possible. Normally it shouldn't be like this, unfortunately it costs points.

Omg, as if I ended up in 80’ies-90’ies traditional quiet Chinese diner! Very careful and helpful staff, the food was served quickly. I had three main courses…I could not finish, I tried. Hat down. Magic place

Vond de Bami een beetje saai, heel weinig groenten. Wel een flinke portie. Foe Yong Hai was ook een beetje simpel.Ik heb eerlijk gezegd liever een kleinere portie maar wel rijk van smaak en goed met groenten gevuld.

Lin Wah overtreft verwachtingen met heerlijke Chinese gerechten. De smaken zijn uitstekend in balans, de service is attent en de sfeer is gezellig. Een aanrader voor liefhebbers van authentieke Chinese keuken!

In de buurt kun je zeer goed uit eten. Leuk park en de huisjes erg mooi en netjes.

Was vroeger heel goed. Mijn mening is nu dat het stukken minder is. Eten was lauw, lang moeten wachten, steeds maar roepen naar personeel. Is jammer want het was top daar om lekker te eten. Ik kom even niet meer.
