Xie in Wijk 01 Almere Haven

What a lovely restaurant and what excellent food! We ate at restaurant XIE with a group of four. The dishes were truly delicious; we were delighted with the taste and quality. And the service was superb and very personal.

After waiting two hours, I decided to call. I was told that the delivery drivers work differently and that it was busy because it was Sunday. The holiday had already passed, so I found that argument rather odd. Besides, you can expect it to be busier on such days, so they certainly could have anticipated that by deploying more staff. It took another two hours before our food was finally prepared. I was told that as soon as it was ready, it would be delivered personally. But compensation? That wasn't possible. Nothing could be done to make it right. The woman on the phone was very friendly, which I respect. But as a company, this is simply unacceptable. The service was simply subpar. Hopefully, they didn't forget any dishes this time, because that happens sometimes. And hopefully, the food is simply delicious. Now we'll see how long it will take...

I picked it up here today. The service was quick. Our order also included an extra portion of mini spring rolls that we hadn't ordered. I don't know if this was a mistake. Otherwise, it was very good. I really enjoyed the special spring roll and the tenderloin in teriyaki sauce 👍

In the restaurant, you won't find standard Chinese dishes, but rather unique and delicious specials. And what a warm welcome with great attention to detail. A very positive surprise.

Ordered food. Monthly menu: Foe yong Hai Chicken + Zua xi chicken and Babi Pangang, all in sour sauce. Waste of money. The food is inedible. I will NEVER order from this restaurant again. It looks like reheated food from last night. First time ordered = last time ordered.

Delivery was 20 min earlier than indicated. We found the food tasteless and very bland, the chicken fillet was steamed and not tasty. The quality is inferior to the quantity, because it is a lot.

Unfortunately, we (unknowingly) arrived half an hour before closing time and therefore couldn't eat there as planned, but they were happy to take our order and serve it within a good quarter of an hour – something I don't take for granted! 😁 ☝🏼 The portions were truly generous and, above all, *incredibly* tasty... we were able to enjoy them even a day later. We were given a few (!) sachets of sambal oelek to take with us and then a friendly farewell afterwards – great, a very pleasant visit! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back! 😊👍🏼 Oh yes: English wasn't a problem here. 🇬🇧

Ordered food tonight. Babipangang very dry, noodles no taste, foe jong hai and satay also no taste. Pangsit tough. Actually, only the prawn crackers were tasty and delivery was on time. More than half is left now, but we won't eat it any further. Not recommended

A hidden gem in Almere-Haven for dining. They are well received in terms of collection and home delivery. However, you can also enjoy fantastic food in the restaurant here. We enjoyed a 3-course dinner. We were even allowed to take our leftovers in a "doggy bag" to avoid waste. Great service, beautifully presented dishes, delicious courses with lots of flavor and good wine. We are fans and from now on we prefer to dine in the restaurant instead of ordering. Highly recommended! Hardworking entrepreneurs with a fantastic menu and chef.

I came here for takeaway with some friends. The meat dishes we ordered were great. The rice was average. Service at the restaurant was good though. Our meals were ready in 10 minutes. No complaints

Today I had takeaway from Restaurant Xie, and the atmosphere was immediately super cozy. There was pleasant chatting between colleagues and customers, and the food was ready quickly. Once home, the food was delicious and I enjoyed it very much, there were no complaints and this is definitely recommended.

Fortunately, it is open again for indoor dining! We were already fans, but the food was delicious and the service was super friendly. Obviously a bit quiet on Monday, but look through that and you will have a fantastic evening. So just do it

Tasty food, good portions on delivery and friendly service!

I recently ordered from this top store, and when I picked it up I was greeted in a friendly manner and helped quickly. I had to wait 15 minutes in the attractive restaurant, once I got home I went to eat and I have to say... I was very positively surprised, the meat of the babi panggang was perfectly cooked and also well seasoned. The soup was also really delicious! That's why I give Restaurant Xie 5 stars, highly recommended!!

I ordered a koe loe kai that had no taste, no vegetables and no fruit. The Dutch version, but dry and tasteless. Service was fine....

Itt vorige reviews, vonden wij het tegenvallen. Structuur vlees, (ossehaas) vond ik apart. Smaak sateh rare nasmaak. Jammer, want porties prima, alsook de bezorging.

I used to come here for dinner with my family and really love it. Due corona times the restaurant closed and nowadays you can only take away your dinner, even though the restaurant is still fully furnished with the beautiful orchids blooming and looks pretty good, ignoring the delivery motor bike is parked in the middle of the restaurant. The quality is still good and quite quick made but I must say I really miss this nice spot of Chinese food in our Almere Haven.

Eten is goed. Helaas was de gratis cassave kroepoek niet aanwezig.

1.5 uur gewacht op de bezorging. Toch erg tevreden over de kwaliteit van het eten. Ik zal zeker weer bestellen. Volgende keer zou ik hetzelfde nemen maar ipv dimsum mix nog een wonton soep. -Maaltijd menu 2 personen: indisch vlees👍, cha sieuw👍, mihoen👍, nasi. -Dim sum mix -wonton soep👍

Afhaal is erg goed. Snel klaar, grote porties en goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Heerlijke oosterse gerechten. Uitgebreide kaart met ook combinatie menu's. Op dit moment kan er door gebrek aan personeel alleen worden afgehaald. Eten was erg lekker. Porties zijn meer dan voldoende. Afhalen ging snel. Ter aarde voldoende gratis parkeermogelijkheden.

Waar andere Chinese Restaurants vaak koks inhuren voor hun restaurant staat hier de eigenaar van Chinese afkomst zelf in de keuken waardoor je echte goede Chinese maaltijden krijgen. Vriendelijk personeel waardoor je jezelf altijd van harte welkom Voet. Aanrader!

The place was nicely done aesthetically and easy to find and park. We ordered food to take away, but it felt like it was kind of old, refrigerated. Didn't find it tasty or new. Something to note and improve

wat een mooie restaurant. leuke sfeer en aardig personeel. ik kom er vaak en ik kan wel zeggen dat het de beste restaurant in Almere is. het eten is heel lekker en ik raad het zeker aan.

Lekkere Chinees eten en ook sushi

Wat kan je toch heerlijk eten bij restaurant Xie, Schoolstraat 84, Almere Haven. Gepaneerde tongfilet met zoetzure saus. Een culinair hoogstandje. De garnalen in mango saus zijn ook ongelooflijk en dan nog de onovertroffen Szechuen soep. Voor mij het beste restaurant in Almere.

Alweer drie jaar mag Almere blij zijn met dit restaurant. Dit is geen steenhard Chinees. In de keuken een Kok die weet wat hij doet. Mooie gerechten, prima van smaak. Deze keer het jubileum menu gegeten. Drie gangen voor €20,50, waar vind je daar nog? Vooraf flensje met Peking eend. Als tussengerecht langzaam in pruimen gegaarde spare ribs. Heerlijk mals en zoet gerecht. Als hoofdgerechten ossenhaas in zwarte peper saus en garnalen in oestersaus. Prima glas wijn er bij. Aanrader!

Top quality food and the plates are composed like a piece of art. Very tender meat ( tenderloin and lambchops ). As a starter I can recommend the soft shell crab and the scallops
