The food was lukewarm, the fries were soggy. The service was poor. We were with a group, and it took a long time for everyone to get their food.

We had a delicious meal! We arrived at 5:30 pm and had a main course with three adults and three children, and the kids had ice cream. We weren't finished until 8 pm. The wait for our food was very long (especially for a Monday), and the children were getting impatient. The food was delicious.

Waited 50 minutes for the food, asked the staff how much longer it would take, and they said another 10 minutes. And it took even longer.

My second time at Loetje. I had the tartare and the tenderloin. Tartare was quite good, the main course was nothing spectacular.

I saw very long waiting line even all the people had a reservation. Waited around 40 mins to get the table. Terrible organization. Why did I do a reservation?

A wonderful location for lunch or dinner. Exceptionally friendly staff who treat you like a true customer.

Not what I'd expected. The steaks were small, but about the right size. It's a shame it wasn't one piece, but two. I didn't find the gravy special. It was mostly butter. They didn't ask how the steak should be cooked, so it got medium-well. Not my thing, more like a weirdo. The appetizers were good. The desserts were decent. The staff was friendly and quick. Parking is available in front of the building, but it's not cheap.

I honestly had a delicious meal here, but the price they asked me when I paid... Ridiculous! I wanted to pay cash when the waiter asked, "What do you expect to get back?" I've never experienced this before. How dare you ask?

These guys are such jokes. The guy in the kitchen thinks he's Gordon Ramsay. Even a steak from Albert Heijn is tenderer than the one these slickers make. It's ridiculous that you pay over 40 euros for a piece of "meat" like that! If you want to be ripped off, you've come to the right place!

The food was fantastic!! My partner had the steak with garlic jus, and I had the calf's liver with onion and bacon. Cooked perfectly, tender, and incredibly delicious!! The fries and salad were also excellent. The service was super friendly, the staff were warm, and they regularly checked on us to see if everything was to our liking or to take our drink orders. Parking was no problem. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here for a bite to eat during our vacation. I give them a 9.8. The food was delicious, and the service was super friendly. We brought our dog along, and he was welcome (it's already listed on the website), and he even got a dog treat. If you're looking for a place to eat, you've come to the right place. Highly recommended for both food and if you're traveling with your four-legged friend!

We ate here tonight with six people, and it was definitely enjoyable and the food was excellent. My only tip is that the gravy is very salty. We also had fries, which were also quite salty, which wasn't really necessary. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

40 euros for a steak swimming in margarine. A good restaurant uses clarified butter, but of course, you have to watch the costs... The service was also terrible. Everything took a long time, and gravy was spilled on one of our jackets. First and last time here.

My son and I had made a reservation for Friday, October 31st, and we arrived 35 minutes late. We'd been stuck in traffic, and it just wasn't working out. It was totally our own fault, but the lady at reception was just plain rude. Her response: "After 15 minutes, the table will be taken, and we're full, goodbye." My eight-year-old son, who has a huge crush on Loetje, actually asked me, "Why is she so angry, Daddy?" The food is fantastic, but this really hits home when we think about Loetje.

Had a fantastic tenderloin steak in Bali. The carpaccio and various side dishes were perfect. Fast and friendly service.

It's a very good place . You can enjoy good sun shine . Open spaces around. Nice view with greenery . Food is superb . Nicely behaved service staff.

I'm familiar with the concept, but that was a few years ago. Loetje Eindhoven is large but lacks atmosphere. It was also very busy because of DDW. The staff apparently thought we were already from a nursing home, because we were treated as if we didn't understand anything. This was already the case upon arrival. The food was good but pricey. Furthermore, you have to order side dishes with every main course. Finally, I asked for the bill, which was slammed on the table, and then it took another 10 minutes before we could finally pay. And there too, we were treated like a bunch of little children or elderly people who don't understand how a debit card works. Damn, work in IT yourself. And then finally, the "friendly" help when the parking lot gate wasn't working. In other words, you're on your own. So unfortunately, this was a one-time, unique experience not to be repeated.

We reserved a table for two for today. We were a bit delayed with the bus, so we called Loetje and told her we'd be fifteen minutes late. That was fine. Once we arrived, the table was taken anyway. Very poor service. We won't be eating here again.

You'd think Loetje is a well-known recipe by now. It became famous for its steak gravy and white bread. Well, the steak with gravy is indeed very tasty. The starter and dessert were okay, but nothing special. Anyway, you go to Loetje for the steak. If you don't want steak, I personally wouldn't go to Loetje.

The food is delicious as always. The service was a bit disappointing. The staff was stiff, with several people only speaking English. Older customers didn't appreciate this. Questions were answered nonchalantly.

The food was good, but the entire staff was running around like headless chickens. Absolutely no overview or insight. We were seated in a corner and were completely ignored. The restaurant is very modern and quite large. We arrived on a rainy day, and it wasn't very busy during the day. This made it a bit chilly in the restaurant. The staff came to us immediately and were very friendly. The menu offers other options besides steak. All dishes are served without side dishes; you have to order them separately. I always find that a shame. We opted for steak, which is served with a generous amount of (delicious) sauce and two slices of white bread. I really liked that, as that's what my grandfather (RIP) ate when I was little. Very satisfied with the restaurant on all counts.

Food was great. Service was terrible. After the starter, we waited 45 minutes for the main course. The starter wasn't brought out until we asked when the main course would arrive. The same story with the main course. We didn't order dessert because we were afraid we'd have to wait that long again. They also didn't ask if we wanted drinks. We had to ask for their attention every time to order something. It's a shame that the quality of the food isn't the main issue, but the annoying poor service, especially since it wasn't that busy.

Afgelopen vrijdag genoten mijn man en ik, samen met een heel goed bevriend koppel, van een fantastisch diner bij Loetje in Eindhoven. 💛 We begonnen de avond met een frisse en perfect geserveerde Aperol Spritz – een ideale start. 🍹 Als voorgerecht koos ik de garnalenkroketjes, heerlijk krokant van buiten en zacht en romig van binnen. 🦐 Daarna kwam het hoogtepunt: een ossenhaasbiefstuk met knoflooksaus en champignons. De biefstuk was perfect gebakken – supermals en sappig. De knoflooksaus was intens van smaak en ongelooflijk lekker. Het gerecht werd geserveerd met wit brood en friet, zodat je alle saus tot de laatste druppel kon opscheppen – echt comfortfood op z’n best! 🥩🍞🍟 Als afsluiter koos ik de crème brûlée, met een perfect gekarameliseerd laagje en een romige binnenkant. 🍮 De sfeer was gezellig en ontspannen, de bediening vriendelijk en attent. Het was een avond vol heerlijk eten, goede gesprekken en dierbaar gezelschap. 🔁 Wij komen zonder twijfel terug!

Last Friday, my husband and I, along with a very good couple, enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Loetje in Eindhoven. 💛 We started the evening with a fresh and perfectly served Aperol Spritz – a perfect start. 🍹 For my starter, I chose the shrimp croquettes, deliciously crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. 🦐 Then came the highlight: a tenderloin steak with garlic sauce and mushrooms. The steak was perfectly cooked – super tender and juicy. The garlic sauce was intensely flavorful and incredibly delicious. The dish was served with white bread and fries, so you could scoop up every last drop of sauce – true comfort food at its finest! 🥩🍞🍟 For my finale, I chose the crème brûlée, with a perfectly caramelized layer and a creamy center. 🍮 The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, the service friendly and attentive. It was an evening filled with delicious food, good conversations, and wonderful company. 🔁 We'll definitely be back!

We ate outside on the terrace with eight English guests. "Great food," was the unanimous comment.

The most delicious steaks in gravy. White bread to dip in. Delicious. Vegetables and fries are real portions to share with two.

I usually find it quite difficult to get a good steak anywhere these days, but Loetje in Eindhoven is most definitely up there with the best of them. Great location and building. Really worth a look.

There you are, in Eindhoven with 4 colleagues who are already unbearable and now even more unbearable because they are starving. But after a good meal at Loetje a smile immediately appeared on their faces. Top place!

On June 9 (2nd Pentecost day) we ate with two adults and 4 kids. In the end we all ate (main course and dessert) and it was all reasonably okay. But o o o o how the service squeaks and creaks!!! With some effort it turned out reasonably well. But it was really on the edge! 1 of the dishes cold, long waiting times, little communication. I think it's because there was too little staff. With so many tables occupied that causes problems.

We went especially for the steak and it was delicious! The red wine should be half instead of 1/3... usually for white. Friendly staff. We will definitely go again.

Loetje Eindhoven is housed in a historic Philips building. We were able to park almost in front of the door, but you can also park nearby in the parking garage or on the premises. It is busier on Saturdays, so it is normal to be patient. The service is quite attentive and we were helped quite quickly considering the crowd. Unfortunately, the restaurant has little atmosphere and because of a rather noisy group of children right behind us, we could hardly hear each other. This is also due to the appearance of a sports canteen with high ceilings and ditto acoustics. At Loetje you cannot ignore the steak and it is excellent. But that is also the only thing you get on your plate, apart from the gravy. You have to pay extra for simple side dishes such as fries, salad or haricots and there is not much more you can order. The steak is quite expensive, as are the prices of the side dishes. If the atmosphere is good and you can converse with your table companion at a normal volume, that high price is quite acceptable. Eating out is also a night out, right? But not in a semi-football canteen where you don't really want to stay longer than strictly necessary. So for me this was really a one-off.

First time loetje. The restaurant is located opposite strijp S at the Frederiklaan. Parking next to the restaurant is paid and costs 1.50 euros per half hour. The parking lot is not theirs, but it's a shame that you pay 9 euros when you park around 17:00. Furthermore, I find strijp s too industrial and Frederiklaan too old. Personally, I like this atmosphere less, which has a lot to do with the experience. The food is good and tasty, but not extremely special for me. a steak on a plate and some loose white bread and then separate dishes that you can order with it. The presentation could be better. For example, you miss some vegetables, etc. Maybe my standard is a bit higher. This and the location mean that it will probably remain the first and last time for me.

The food was, as always, good. Nothing to complain about. I did find the service a bit less. We waited a while before someone came to receive us. There was no employee to be seen anywhere. It went on like this for a while. When I looked back during dinner, I saw 2 employees sitting on a chair near the bar, on their phones. While there were several dirty/full tables in the restaurant. A little later, some employees joined us and then the cleaning up started, but it didn't seem very cordial. A colleague let the other know that there were people waiting to be received, but she calmly finished what she was doing. I don't really understand this, you can also greet and say "good afternoon, I'll be with you shortly" instead of just continuing to do your thing with your back to it. The employee who came to clear up and settle the bill with us was very friendly. Hospitality is a small gesture, with a big effect.

The fries were swimming in the gravy.

Tasty and sufficient, but quite expensive

O.o steak, delicious, never had it before. In garlic gravy. You do have to order everything separately, even loose fries or potato fries or something, mushrooms come separately coma salad comes separately, if you order a real meat steak you can order it in different sizes The bigger you want it, the more money you will have to pay. The vegetarian steak comes in 1 size. We also had a story I had vegetarian I ordered a beetroot tartare but there was also enough choice of meat or fish. It was certainly tasty for once, if you really like steak or want to try a vegetarian steak, everything together with starter main course and three drinks came to €80 per person. They have a large outdoor terrace in Eindhoven, but it is also very large inside. The branch in Eindhoven is close to Strijp s, is still a 20 minute walk from Strijp-S station, and from Loetje it is also a 20 minute walk to the center station. The location is exactly between the center and Strijp-S. I don't know if I would go back here again, definitely recommended for one time but not a restaurant for multiple times

Ik kwam aan bij Loes en we waren op zoek naar een parkeerplek. We zagen een bord aan de achterkant van de parkeerplaats en zijn daar naar binnen gereden. Helaas dachten we dat het parkeren geregeld zou zijn door het restaurant, maar dat was niet zo – je moet gewoon betalen. Toen we aankwamen in het restaurant, kreeg ik als Moederdag-verrassing een glaasje prosecco aangeboden. Dat vond ik een heel leuk gebaar en het gaf me een warm welkomgevoel. We kozen een tafeltje in de tuin, maar die dag waaide het flink. Het duurde even voordat de service op gang kwam, omdat ze bezig waren met het sluiten van enkele parasols. Ik bestelde een steak met bijgerechten en ik kan eerlijk zeggen dat ik er enorm van heb genoten – echt heerlijk! De prijzen zijn betaalbaar en de tuin is prima, niet bijzonder, maar aangenaam. De service was vrij traag, al waren de dames altijd erg vriendelijk. Mijn aanbevelingen zouden zijn: gratis parkeren voor gasten en een efficiëntere bediening. Maar het eten was echt top – complimenten aan de chef!

Unfortunately we thought parking would be arranged by the restaurant, but it wasn't - you just have to pay. When we arrived at the restaurant, I was offered a glass of prosecco as a Mother's Day surprise. I thought that was a very nice gesture and it gave me a warm welcome feeling. We chose a table in the garden, but that day it was windy. It took a while for the service to get going because they were busy closing some umbrellas. I ordered a steak with sides and I can honestly say I enjoyed it immensely – really delicious! The prices are affordable and the garden is fine, not special, but pleasant. The service was quite slow, although the ladies were always very friendly. My recommendations would be: free parking for guests and more efficient service. But the food was really great – compliments to the chef!

Price quality is skewed. It's a steak in a plate of gravy with 2 white slices of bread. Tasty and fun to do once, but for that money there are many other places where you get much more value for your money.

Loetje has a reputation to uphold with their 'steak in a bath of gravy'. After a previous experience in another branch, we joined a group in Eindhoven. The welcome and service are friendly and authentic. This attention subsided after the drinks were served. Personally, we found the 'Bali' variant of the steak much too salty. This was "as intended", so kindly answered when we were asked about the experience. For this price, the experience felt pleasant but not something to be repeated anytime soon.

Het was niet heel best. De bediening was vriendelijk, maar het duurde erg lang voor we ons eten kregen, zowel het voor- als hoofdgerecht. Ik heb de slechtste tartaar ooit gegeten. De biefstuk was niet heel goed gebakken en beetje droog.

Loetje, good food anyway, that's what they are known for. I compare the atmosphere with Loetje Amsterdam. Eindhoven boring! Service was inadequate. And above all, Loetje is pricey, but we know that now.

Housed in an old Philips building from the thirties that is now residential. Beautiful to look at and retains the atmosphere well.

Food is a 10 with a pencil. Once they get to you, the service is helpful and friendly. Perhaps in keeping with the spirit of the times, but the hospitable etiquette as traditionally appropriate in the catering industry did not seem to be self-evident. For example, one of the employees came in a few meters in front of us and slammed the door right in front of us. Recognizable to come in at your side job last minute, so there would be no need for the man, if it weren't for the fact that the young man then casually started catching up with his colleague. An interesting detail is that this colleague turned out to be the hostess and after about 2 minutes she found space in her busy schedule to show us our table. Twice immediately had hiccups because service did not pay attention to drinking. Nor do you ask whether everything is to your liking. There is definitely room for improvement because the food is delicious, but it is the complete picture that counts. So 5 stars for the food, a paltry 2 stars for the service and 5 stars for my husband's entertainment.

Loetje is known for serving fantastic steak, I certainly had this experience in Amsterdam. Went to Loetje Eindhoven thinking of a fantastic experience from Amsterdam. But this was very disappointing. Not good service, food was certainly not as good as in Amsterdam. Very unfortunate…

Food was very good, although there was a bit of gravy with the steak. Service could be better. Especially when it comes to drinks. Beautiful place that already exudes atmosphere.

Gooi- en smijtwerk met vieze vette jus en middelmatig vlees. Niet mijn stijl en veuls te duur. Eens maar never nooit meer.

It was great food. However, they gave us a super small table (suitable for 2 even though we were 3, and it was in a corner that made a bit difficult to interact). This happened even though we had made a reservation in advance. We asked if we could be moved to a better table, but our request was kind of ignored

Those steaks in gravy and white bread are so delicious!! Tip: don't clean up before the last customer has left. Paying for parking shouldn't be necessary for restaurant visitors.

OMG, delicious food! Perfect garlic tenderloin with sweet potato fries and delicious salad. And then that dessert!! That was "Loetje's dessert", heavenly!! A delicious sticky crème brulee waffle with forest fruit dressing, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Fantastic!!!

I have been here several times and their Steaks are fantastic. We really enjoy the food. This time it was extremely busy, the staff was lovely nonetheless but they were run of their feet.

Zeer slechte ervaring... Carpaccio heel erg koud.. 2 hamburges koud werden teruggestuurd na 3 kwartier nog geen nieuwe anderen vrienddn hadden reeds gegeten.. Bediening slecht. Prijs kwaliteit slecht. Enige wat goed was was de cappuccino die was warm.

We were taken to our table and then nothing... had to wait way too long for someone to bring us the menu. This went on all evening, mainly waiting for service. You really get the feeling that you are being ignored. Very unpleasant if you are sitting here with someone who is having a birthday and wants to have a pleasant evening. We had 1 drink, they never came to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Even though the steak was tasty, it was the first and last time I had Loetje.

Had steak. Is really the only thing you get on your plate, and some greasy gravy that just solidifies on the plate. Also a few slices of cheap toasted bread to dip the fatty gravy on. No vegetables, not a piece of lettuce, no fries..... You pay the full price but then it's bare on the plate. You have to pay the rest, everything separately. 2 people in total with 3 drinks, white wine, Radler 0.0, cassis, sweet potato fries, half portion of regular fries and two majo = €80.00 Disappointing! Staff friendly and helpful, but everything is clumsy and very slow. The space is large and open but austere and bare. Makes it all quite loud and impersonal. Always really wanted to go there, can now tick it off. Final! Shame.....

Had 300 gram besteld maar kreeg een kleinere. Daarna duurde het heel lang voordat ik de goede kreeg waardoor mijn vriendin haar biefstuk al op had anders was die koud geworden. Toen ik de mijne kreeg was die helemaal rood vanbinnen. Bijna rauw. Wel werd er gevraagd of ik een drankje van het huis wilde maar ik had al een fles wijn op tafel staan dus daar had ik ook niks aan. Al met al hele slechte kwaliteit en slechte service.

Nothing special, I know plenty of places with better steak.

You've come to the right place for a good steak! Moreover, there are also tasty deserts. Quite noisy considering it is a fairly large restaurant and therefore many people are present at the same time.
