Walked in on a Tuesday eve. Got a table straight away. Beers was nearly to the 500ml mark but not quite. Burger was excellent. Huge. Couldn’t eat it all. Lovely skin on fries and lots of. Even given a small roll with some oil, butter and olives whilst waiting. Great friendly service.

Had lunch at Lokaal Victoria with my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival, we were immediately given two glasses of bubbly on the house in honor of her birthday. The food was delicious. The menu was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The host was exceptionally kind and hospitable. He explained everything well when we had a question about the menu. In short, a wonderful keepsake for my daughter's 25th birthday. We will definitely be back!

I was here two weeks ago. I never expected that the Victoria area would decline so drastically. What was once a vibrant and charming restaurant is now a dilapidated place. Literally peeling skirting boards, mold near the radiator, and dirty tables and chairs. The service is truly subpar, even in this day and age. On a different note, I think the days of disposables are truly over, but it's okay that you sometimes need one. But here, during lunch and a cup of coffee, you'll find five or six of them. The fresh biscuit/butter cake with the coffee has also been replaced by a biscuit in plastic. Tea, on a saucer that doesn't fit, so a napkin is placed underneath. It's cheaper to buy the right saucers every year. With the Club sandwich, two sauces are again in plastic. Fries aren't on the plate but first in cardboard and then on the plate? Impossible to pay because the waitstaff is nowhere to be found. Chefs do come forward with very dirty towels on their shoulders. But giving someone a sign is out of the question. After waiting 10 minutes, we were finally able to leave. There's work to be done here.

A lovely, well-decorated restaurant. We tried a meat (lamb) and fish (sea bass) dish. The dishes were beautifully presented, quite tasty, and a decent size, with matching side dishes. The prices aren't high considering the ambiance. The service was friendly and fast. It's definitely worth a try.

Very pleasantly surprised by spontaneously dining here one evening. Very cozy atmosphere and excellent food. The restaurant thought along well regarding my allergies and certain dishes from the shared dining were replaced so that we were all happy. Ultimately, when paying, paid according to value. We do not live nearby, but if we are here again, we will definitely come back!

Restaurant with a nice selection of Dutch dishes, especially for lunch. The service was fast and friendly. The portions are generous and the value for money is very good. The salads are huge. We also had some of the best fries here. Parking nearby is a bit tricky, though.

Surprising dishes and a very good service. They advise well about the wine, keep your table clean and pay attention to whether you need anything. I can recommend the sharing dinner.

A very accessible place to eat a sandwich in the afternoon or a nice bite to eat in the evening. Nice is that the owner is a big fan of wine, so there are often delicious wines on the menu for a reasonable price in my opinion. At the back is a terrace where you can sit in the sun and certainly if the evenings keep a bit of temperature, you can eat outside. So enjoyed.

Tastefully decorated restaurant. Attentive friendly service. Your coat was accepted! You don't come across that much anymore. The choice for vegetarians is unfortunately limited but very tasty. And - fortunately - a 4-person table for 2 people. (If you're tall, you can't fit your legs around small tables, that's not an option.) Highly recommended.

Very nice lunch! I had the hummus salad with grilled vegetables. Ordered a drink, not served but charged for the receipt. That's a bit less. All in all, we really enjoyed the delicious food. I would like to tip the servers to be a little more personal and attentive because it sometimes came across as a bit impatient and impersonal. In addition, some sound-absorbing decoration (on the ceiling?) would certainly not hurt because I found the room very noisy and therefore noisy. At that time, almost all tables were occupied.

Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff, delicious food and atmosphere and very generous portion sizes. The antipasti was an amazing smorgasbord of shrimp, tuna, steak, cheese and a bunch of other things that had nothing to do with Italy but were delicious nonetheless. It was also very filling - we half-joked we didn't even need our entree afterwards. Entrecote steak was delicious and generous portion size. Though the menu we ordered listed dolce for dessert, they had no issues whatsoever swapping that for a plate of cheeses (again, very generous portion size). They had IPA on tap (bonus points). All in all, highly recommended.

Fish of the day: monkfish, very tasty with lots of vegetables and just enough saffron sauce. Dessert: cheesecake was really not tasty, seems to be made with gelatin, which this cake does not need and ruins the taste. There was also no real response to my feedback. Shame! Furthermore, a very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

There were no staff present upon arrival. I had not made a reservation and chose a table myself. My girlfriend came in a little later and was spoken to by an employee. My girlfriend pointed at me and the employee said that I was not supposed to take a seat there. It was 2:30 PM and at 5:00 PM the place turned out to be reserved. We indicated that we would already be gone by then. If we promised to be gone by 5 p.m. it was okay to sit there. Very unwelcoming. I'm not used to local Victoria. Halfway through, the same employee also removed the lantern with tea light. Also seemed very strange. I assume that this is an incident and hope to be received hospitably again next time.

In short: good food and very good service We had dinner here on a Saturday evening. Upon entering we were immediately welcomed and a drink was quickly on the table. In addition to the menu, there were some daily specials and there is plenty of choice. There is also a choice for vegetarians and vegans that goes beyond standard dishes such as goat cheese salad. The food itself looked attractive, but in my opinion the taste was a bit too bland. The cooking of my venison steak was good. Definitely worth it and we will probably go back again.

I haven't been there for a long time and now I know why... service is not really unfriendly, but not enthusiastic either. The steak tartare was nothing special and unfortunately my venison steak was not evenly cooked. Some pieces were tender, others too well done. When taking the order, we were also not asked how you wanted it cooked. And when I said it myself, the answer I got was 'yes, we bake it tender'. Hmmm. Last time it went wrong with my deer steak. It was pleasantly busy.

We went here for burgers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but they forgot our order of drinks once and they kind of forgot us after giving us the bill, so after waiting for over half an hour we just went to the register ourselves. Food was good, but nothing special. We were served small rolls before our main course which was a nice touch. The fries were extremely salty though, and I'm someone who generally likes them with a fair bit of salt. I would recommend always going light on the salt, because it's much easier for people to add their own salt to flavor than it is to remove salt after the fact.

Heerlijk gegeten, goede kaart, goed betaalbaar, heerlijk warm ook aan het raam. Bediening zeer net, mede gasten ook erg net. We komen zeker terug. (een jaar later)we zijn voor de twee keer geweest de ontvangst was net en vriendelijk, het meisje van de bediening had er duidelijk geen zin in, zo krijg je nooit een fooi. ze was bot, lachte niet en smeet bij wij van spreken het bestek op tafel, de anderen waren zeer attent maar dit doet zo veel af aan een gezellige avond, we zaten met zijn tweeën aan de wand tussen twee groepen in, je kon elkaar nauwelijks verstaan, dit is echt en restaurant voor bedrijven denk ik. het eten was zeer goed.

Goed eten, lastig parkeren maar moeite zeker waard.

Eerste ervaring hier n.a.v goede reviews. En ze stellen niet teleur. Vriendelijke bediening die maatwerk leveren en meedenken, goede keuken en vooral (in deze tijd) een eerlijke prijs. Interieur zou een facelift mogen hebben maar doet niet heel veel afbreuk. Aanrader dus.

Kwalitatief erg goede gerechten, heerlijke wijnen en bovengemiddelde service. De jonge serveerder deed zijn werk erg goed wat uniek is tegenwoordig. Jammer dat het niet mogelijk was om een karaf water te bestellen (in het kader van duurzaamheid, niet vanwege de prijs).

Geluncht met familie, heel gezellige plek en leuk personeel maar de kwaliteit van eten is teleurstellend. Vis leek niet gaar, fantasie- smaakloze club sandwich en de pizza van de kinderen was een flammenkuchen.. de chocoladefontein van 14/15 euro bestond uit een paar lange vingers en spekjes. Enige wat wij lekker vinden en op gegeten hebben was de friet. Echt jammer want buiten het eten om is het een plek met veel potentie. De ambiance en het personeel krijgt van mij 3 sterren anders 1.

Heerlijk gegeten op het terras achter. Gezellige avond gehad.

Op een zwoele zomeravond weer prima gegeten in de “ secret garden” van dit altijd goede restaurant. Uitstekende en deskundige bediening, prima sfeer en entourage. Blijft een aanrader voor Zeist.

Hebben hier gezellig bijna een middag doorgebracht en heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Tafelgenoot smulde van Club Sandwich Fish, en ik van Belgisch stoofvlees met friet, zalig en betaalbaar. Complimenten aan Lotte voor de attente bediening!

Ik had een salade pittige kip maar de pittigheid was meer gekruid. Het was wel ok maar niet bijzonder. Twee piepkleije stukje brood erbij, dat mag wel wat groter. Ik vond het net aan genoeg voor een lunch.

We had walking dinner for our wedding guests, the time between each course supposed to be around 15 min but it was so much more and supposed to be served from 18:30 until 20:30 but after 22:00 they still were serving when only one tenth of the guests were still there. 2 stuffs for serving dinner for 60 people!!!! Feeling they are running!!! After our complaint email, they discounted us around 150€! But it was the only not so nice experience in my wedding day. There is good for gatherings but never for your important days like wedding!!

Goed restaurant, Vandaag 10 april 2023 weer eens voor een lunch langs geweest. Heerlijke recepten, leuk en goed weer gegeten. Nadeel dat de kaart zo uitgebreid was. Zodat beslissen moeilijk "met zulke lekkere dingen" op de kaart was. Avondeten. Het eten was meer dan goed. Mooi en goed gevuld bord, miste alleen een salade bij het hoofdgerecht. Leuke en goede bediening, zeer netjes en weten wat service is en inhoud. Goed advies van ze gekregen. Vlees was perfect klaargemaakt en perfect van kwaliteit. Je hoeft er niet heen te gaan voor goedkope maaltijd. Maar wil je goed eten dan is dit een goed restaurant.

Heel gezellig en ongedwongen. Reserveren gewenst.

Eenvoudig reserveren, originele menukaart en vriendelijke bediening door Lotte. De oesters smaakten goed maar zagen er niet zo mooi uit, de beide tartare voorgerechten smaakten heerlijk en het kalfsvlees was perfect medium gebraden. De limoncello vind ik (te) stevig geprijsd.

Op website staat 'werken met biologisch en zoveel mogelijk lokale producten'. Serveerster wist te vertellen dat er niets biologisch was op de kaart en alleen het brood bij lokale bakker vandaan kwam. Wist ook het verschil niet tussen vegetarisch en biologisch:D eten lekker maar niet bijzonder, sfeer beetje donker
