What a wonderful evening we had with you! Our group of friends wanted to end the year with a great dinner, and you absolutely nailed it. When we made our reservation (which we forgot to mention), we had mentioned we wanted a handsome waiter and fireworks. We were reminded of this upon arrival. Unfortunately, the selection of handsome men was a bit limited, but instead, we were given a very nice, attractive woman who provided fantastic service, including a "mother photo." The food was delicious, and both the dinner and drinks menus are very extensive. For dessert, a kind man delivered our fireworks, which, after all that wine, made us very excited. Lola's is a unique slice of Italy in Doetinchem. Not a pizzeria, but a true Italian restaurant. It has an authentic, atmospheric setting. But above all, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive to detail, ensuring a pleasant evening. Great wines and a well-rounded menu. Be sure to book in advance!

Fantastic and still top-notch restaurant with delicious pasta, meat, desserts, and highlights such as the exquisite truffle jus, Parmesan cheese, and a golden Chardonnay...all in a truly Italian setting. A lovely restaurant in the center of Doetinchem, near the main church. The restaurant is cozy and compact. The only downside, in my opinion, is the difficult stairs to the restroom. The food was otherwise delicious. The vegetarian options were very tasty, which isn't the case at many restaurants. The risotto LOLA is highly recommended: one of the tastiest risottos I've ever had. The service was also very good.

It was our first time at Lola's. It was a bit of a gamble, but our first experience was truly wonderful. It's a neat restaurant, the atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, it's clean, and the service is attentive. The appetizer platter was fine, but the risotto dish was unfortunately very poor. It was swimming in sauce and far too salty due to the salt flakes, topped with a heaping helping of salty Parmesan. When I said there was far too much sauce for a risotto, I was told it was traditional. No other region in Italy makes risotto this wet, not even risotto all'onda in Venice. And why do I see risotto in reviews that doesn't have much sauce? Fortunately, the tenderloin was cooked well and was tender. My friends had pasta and were satisfied. I saw that other people had left bad reviews about the risotto. Maybe they should just take it off the menu if the chef can't make it properly. Next time, we'll eat somewhere else.

The risotto tasted delicious, but it was definitely not overcooked. Risotto should have a bite, but this one was (for me) much too hard. My colleague had a different risotto, which was much better.

Good evening, so I went with a friend of mine to this very promising restaurant, they sat us at a table outside, I ordered lasagna and my friend a spaghetti. Well, my food was really bad, my friend's 6 out of 10 and when I told the waitress that I didn't like it, she didn't answer me and charged me normally without an explanation.

A very simple restaurant with the most basic dishes for exorbitant prices. Great if you're used to nothing and sensitive to the fuss... This place is seriously overrated. The staff is very friendly, the wine is good, the atmosphere is nice, but the food is of very basic quality. If I'm ever in Doetinchem again, I'd rather eat somewhere else.

Never had such a bare carpaccio, no pine nuts, no green and tasteless. Almost everything at my table was tasteless too. Even the pizza, how is that possible. No, not to be repeated.

Had dinner with colleagues on May 4. At 8 p.m., two minutes of complete silence to commemorate and reflect on our freedom. Then toasted. Such friendly employees and delicious food in a great atmosphere.

I have truly never eaten such a bad spaghetti carbonara anywhere as here, it was as if it were leftovers from other guests that had been reheated, the spaghetti was cut into very small pieces of many different lengths and the sauce was also extremely salty instead of the well-known and expected strings of spaghetti in a delicious slightly salty creamy sauce because of the bacon that you turn on your fork with the help of a spoon and they dare to charge €19.50 for that. to ask. And if you indicate that it is of very poor quality, the only response is oh okay and they walk away, or a worthless place and in any case they will never see me here again.

We ordered Tagliere dello Chef. Unfortunately this had nothing to do with Italy. Price 35 Euro. Some tuna salad, sliced ​​tomatoes, Bruchetta without Italian herbs and cheap slices of sausage that do not do justice to the name Italy. Not to be repeated for us. Service good.

Food is really delicious, service is very nice and nice atmosphere. We were here with my family to celebrate a birthday here. The pizza came a little later because the oven was broken. I'm almost 60 years old now, but I've never had such a bad pizza as last night. Ordered Italian pizza without salami. Got a burnt pizza with lots of tomato sauce and , you guessed it, salami. All of this is drizzled with what feels like 1 kg of salt. Would you like me to inform the kitchen was the response. Yes of course. After that no response. Bill paid and ✅ for the future. Too bad actually.

Delicious food, at a great price. The only downside was that we felt we had a little short time at our table. The last bit of wine in the bottle was quickly poured, which felt to us like “the table is needed quickly”. However, this may also be related to late reservations. We will definitely come back!

Great Italian restaurant. Friendly staff also for the kids. They have a children's menu that the kids can use as coloring page. The food is fantastic, really good pasta and meat dishes. I had the tagliatelle made in a parmigiano chees wheel. Great experience overall. I would recommend going here. Price wise you it depends what you choose. Overall, the price value for your buck. But if you're feeling fancy you can also make it expensive. We didn't have the expensive dishes, so I can't judge that. But what we had was very well made!

Had a very nice evening. We initially sat in the courtyard to eat until it started to rain. We were then placed at a table inside without any difficulty. The staff clearly places service high on its priority list and the kitchen places the quality of the food. All in all it was just right and we had a wonderful evening out.

The atmosphere is great! Food is a bit on the expensive side for the quality you get. We also had to wait an hour for the main course, while people who came in later received the main course earlier. Bavette for €31.50, which could be possible if it is really great. It was tasty but not worth the price and you don't get anything as a side dish. We were also not asked. Pasta was on the bland side, the salt mill was no longer on the table so I poured almost the entire Parmesan container over it and then it was just manageable. I don't eat very salty food myself. Dessert was great!

Had a super tasty meal yesterday; Vitello della Casa in advance (shared together), Risotto con gamberi for myself and my friend had the Filetto di Manzo con tartufo (Tournedos) → really delicious. Love is certainly present in the food and the ingredients are selected with love. And also big compliments to the staff! So friendly, professional and perfectly cared for... that is the only reason why it is a pleasure to eat at Lola.

Went to dinner with my partner last night. Unfortunately, a lot of things went wrong while one of us was eating. The starter fell on the floor, one of the side dishes we found a hair among the fries, and nothing was said about the girl's hair in the kitchen. The main course was the meat well done the 1st time, the 2nd time we got it raw and the 3rd time the piece was no longer tasty because it was reheated and the hunger had disappeared. Unfortunately, the fun of eating out together was also hard to find. In the end, part of the total amount was raised, but unfortunately it was not worth it this evening. What I also found very 'sad' is that during the 2 hours that we were there, a girl of about 15/16 had to constantly walk up the stairs through the restaurant carrying full containers of dirty dishes. She could barely walk between the chairs and she could barely keep count of the amount of time she walked up and down.

Friendly reception. Both the pizza with prawns and the pizza with meat were small and sparsely covered (except for the arugula, but we didn't come for that!) and quickly cold and therefore tough. Given the relatively high price, you can expect better quality pizza. Not recommended.

Goed eten, maar miste zelf de Italiaanse touch. Viergangmenu genomen en hiervan enkel het voorgerecht duidelijk italiaans (qua kruiden en Ingrediënten), rest van de gangen was meer internationale keuken.

Op 21 december diner bij Lola. Wilde vooraf een biertje drinken. 30 minuten na de bestelling gevraagd waarom het zo lang duurde, antwoord: we hebben geen bierglazen en die moeten ergens anders opgehaald worden! Uiteindelijk na 55 minuten werd gevraagd of ik alsnog het bier wilde. De pizza's waren karig belegd alleen in het midden met een brede rand waar niets op lag.

45 minuten rijden voor ons maar dat is het zeker waard.

Gisteren een 4 gangen diner gehad en wat was het toch geweldig goed leuke bediening aleen de kok kwam ook uit de keuken vragen of het smaakte 1 een woord geweldig echt een aanrader

Weinig smaak aan de gerechten. Ossenhaas en kalfsentrecote waren ronduit slecht!. Ossenhaas was taai en de KALFSentrecote was 1/3 vet en de rest was taai en bevatte veel zenen. Wij adviseren om het vlees van een betere slager te betrekken. Wat ons het meest stoorde was dat er geen enkele tegemoetkoming heeft plaatsgevonden behalve sorry, sorry. Komen zeker niet terug.

Lekker gegeten in leuke ambiance. Jammer dat de muziek zo hard stond. Rustig gesprek was moeilijk. Ws is dit een restaurant voor jonge lui die daar geen last van hebben.

Restaurant italien, mais la proposition mensuelle surprises avec 5 plats (inclus le dessert) manque de raffinement, et surtout n'a pas grand chose de spécialités italiennes. Nous étions 8 personnes et déçus au niveau des plats proposés et du niveau de cuisine. A refaire en choisissant ses propres plats italiens afin de comparer le niveau de la cuisine.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Lola in Doetinchem. De prijs is wel wat hoger, maar de kwaliteit van het eten is erg hoog. De tomatensoep was heerlijk als voorgerecht, het vlees was perfect gebakken en het ijs was ook lekker fris. De bediening was erg vriendelijk, en snel. Wij hoefden niet lang te wachten tussen de gerechten door. Het restaurant zat helemaal vol, en wij waren met zijn zessen maar we kregen het eten best snel. De sfeer is ook gezellig, en het restaurant is helemaal naar Italiaanse stijl aangekleed. Dit restaurant is zeker een aanrader!

Mooie locatie met een lekkere binnenplaats. Het eten is voortreffelijk en prima keuze voor wijn. De prijzen zijn aller sinds redelijk. Wij komen zeker terug.

Wij (3 pers) hebben hier voortreffelijk en verrassend gegeten in de binnentuin. De menukaart nodigt uit om voor iets te kiezen dat je nog niet kent. Doen! Het zal zeker niet tegenvallen. De bediening is uitermate attent en vriendelijk. Een absolute aanrader. Top!

Lekker gegeten in een gezellige terrastuin (achter).

Ondanks de uitgebreide menukaart gingen we voor het 4-gangen verrassingsmenu. Hierbij een lekkere cocktail uitgezocht, naast de standaard karaf met water. Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Voor een simpele pizza of pasta met je hier niet naartoe. Voor echt lekker en vers eten wel. Bediening is erg vriendelijk en alert.

Er is een mooie keuze van heerlijke gerechten die je makkelijk een traditioneel 5 gangen menu laten samenstellen, maar gewoon een pizza is ook mogelijk. Het eten was creatief en uitstekend van smaak. Was een echte beleving. De cocktails zijn lekker. Voor het eerst oesters gegeten en ze waren heerlijk. Wij hadden een verrassing menu. Was een goede keuze geweest. Alles was top.

Heerlijk met z'n tweeën gegeten aan de hoge tafel met uitzicht op de keuken. Vriendelijke personeel. Heerlijke gerechten en wijnen. Mooie zaak echt een aanwinst voor Doetinchem.
