We have eaten there satisfactorily a few times, but not this time. The spaghetti carbonara was dry and very sticky. You couldn't twirl the spaghetti around the fork without pulling a whole clump of spaghetti along with it. Carbonara is supposed to be smooth and creamy, and it clearly wasn't. Very disappointing....... Otherwise, a beautiful courtyard and the service there is perfect! 👌

We sat inside at the back. A little less cozy than in the busy part, but nice to talk quietly with each other. This was very pleasant for us. We had discussed things.

The experience was a bit disappointing this time. The waitress was clearly having an off day. We were not informed that there was a children's menu, which meant we had to figure out what to choose from the regular menu. The children are 7 and 9, so I would expect her to mention that there is a placemat with a coloring page and that the children's menu is listed on it. A bottle of water costs €6.75, while we ordered a bottle of wine for €42. The waitress was unfriendly and very clearly not fond of children. The chef was great in terms of interaction from the open kitchen. The food was fine.

We had a wonderful evening. We sat in the courtyard and the weather was great. This certainly contributed to our experience. Dishes that stood out positively were the oysters, the ham, and the tenderloin. However, a lot of bread was served with the ham. We are only scoring a 3 out of 5, though, because the sole was really too dry. It was overcooked. The size of the sole was fine, though. If the sole had been prepared properly, we would have given the meal a 5 out of 5.

Very pleasant service, with attentive wine pouring and, in our case with a 5-course menu, a detailed explanation of the dishes. Highly recommended; you want for nothing here when it comes to hospitality. We certainly enjoyed the dishes, and the time between courses was just right. We will definitely be back.

I already mentioned this yesterday; we had to switch tables, which was perfectly fine. However, if the person making the request indicates, multiple times, that this will be "made up for" with a surprise, then I feel they should stick to that. That was a bit of a shame!

The surprise menu with the matching wine pairing was fantastic!! The food and wine complemented each other very well, and each course was explained with wonderful enthusiasm. Beautiful and spacious decor..... a small downside was that the outdoor chairs weren't very spacious, but otherwise, it was a perfect experience!

I called multiple times to make a reservation and was asked 3 times to call back in half an hour. I understand that it is busy, but you spent longer on the phone with me than if you had written it down immediately. And you could have called me back when there was time. There were 10 of us and we only received 1 drinks menu after we asked for one. Otherwise, the service was fine and the food and drinks were very good. Only the pizza crusts were too thick.

The carpaccio at Harry's Bar had been cold/frozen and then thawed. It was completely soggy and tasted like water. My salmon Tachliatelle Di Nero was tasteless. Complained about both dishes, including to the chef, and was told it would be passed on to the kitchen! After all, the chef *is* the kitchen. We did get a free drink, though. We don't want a free drink; we want good food and to be taken seriously. The chef was standing at the counter when we left and didn't give us a glance or a goodbye. Typical of someone who doesn't understand at all how things work in a service-oriented profession! The staff was very friendly and did their best, but the chef set a bad example. Too bad, but €85 poorer for a bad experience. Never received a response. Just proves once again that this place really doesn't get it.

Beautiful place, open kitchen, nice staff who work really hard; you can eat inside, outside, and upstairs. Tasty drinks, delicious food. The desserts also looked good and were tasty; the cheese boards I saw passing by were also beautifully presented. It looked good. The cheesecake was very firm, so heavy; it could have been a bit lighter. But good wine and friendly service made up for a lot. When complained about the pizza being far too hard, the chef of the evening responded with nothing but silence and cool-blooded apologies. He must have thought, "Let him vent for a bit; he won't be back anyway." You are treated despicably, in a polite way. It's a shame there are no culinary courts.

A lovely restaurant in the center of Doetinchem, near the main church. The restaurant is cozy and compact. The only downside, in my opinion, is the difficult stairs to the restroom. The food was otherwise delicious. The vegetarian options were very tasty, which isn't the case at many restaurants. The risotto LOLA is highly recommended: one of the tastiest risottos I've ever had. The service was also very good.

The appetizer platter was fine, but the risotto dish was unfortunately very poor. It was swimming in sauce and far too salty due to the salt flakes, topped with a heaping helping of salty Parmesan. When I said there was far too much sauce for a risotto, I was told it was traditional. No other region in Italy makes risotto this wet, not even risotto all'onda in Venice. And why do I see risotto in reviews that doesn't have much sauce? Fortunately, the tenderloin was cooked well and was tender. My friends had pasta and were satisfied. I saw that other people had left bad reviews about the risotto. Maybe they should just take it off the menu if the chef can't make it properly. Next time, we'll eat somewhere else.

Well, my food was really bad, my friend's 6 out of 10 and when I told the waitress that I didn't like it, she didn't answer me and charged me normally without an explanation.

I'm almost 60 years old now, but I've never had such a bad pizza as last night. Ordered Italian pizza without salami. Got a burnt pizza with lots of tomato sauce and , you guessed it, salami. All of this is drizzled with what feels like 1 kg of salt. Would you like me to inform the kitchen was the response. Yes of course. After that no response. Bill paid and ✅ for the future.
