LOLO Pizzabar (AVPN certified) in Breda zuid-oost

Yesterday, I ate at Lolo Belcrum for the first time with friends. It was cozy, welcoming, and the service was great, with a fantastic chef. The pizzas and desserts were excellent! We'll definitely be back!

Nice place, definitely worth it

We come here a few times a month now, and it's always great. The pizza tastes just like the ones we had in Naples. Delicious, fresh ingredients, great staff, and a nice atmosphere. So glad this place is in Breda!

Excellent Neapolitan pizzas! You can taste that they use truly fresh ingredients and are made by hand. The crust is just like in Italy. The team is friendly and helpful. We also had pizzas delivered to Breda for a company party, and that was perfectly arranged. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality.

Disappointed. Not premium pizza, not cooked well.

The pizza was fine. The service was incredibly slow and terrible. We had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come to our table, while the three staff members were chatting away.

Had a great meal at a nice, cozy pizza bar. A tip would be to expand the pizza menu a bit.

Had dinner at Lolo on Saturday, the food is delicious, but the service could be better. Lolo is a small place with few tables inside and a few tables outside. With 5 people behind the bar, you should be able to provide sufficient service regarding new drinks, but unfortunately. The entire bar is full of dishes and yet everyone is mainly looking at their phone. This could be more customer-oriented, but that doesn't mean the girls aren't very friendly! So far, of course, we've had a delicious meal.

The pizzas are divine, especially the dough. The service was a bit less alert the last time. It may be that the waitresses still had to learn the trade, but they dropped a few stitches. It was a shame that we found out afterwards that there was chili oil. This was not offered to us.

We came here today based on the reviews. We were thrilled with the really good pizzas. The lady even let us order in English, which was perfect. Our little one had pasta with just Parmesan, but unfortunately, the price wasn't right, hence only 4 stars. We would visit the restaurant again, but we'd discuss the price of the pasta again.

It is a small, cozy Italian restaurant. The tables are very close together (I personally don't like this). You can, so to speak, enjoy the conversations that are being had next to you. The service was friendly, but the drinks took a bit long (given that there were not many people present at the time). The food, on the other hand, was really great!! The gluten-free pizza was really delicious, as if I were eating a normal pizza. Furthermore, besides the pizza, there were few gluten-free options, but I take that for granted. Because the pizza is really too tasty!! I will definitely come back here, but probably to pick up pizza and not to sit inside.

This pizzeria is highly recommended for lovers of real Neapolitan pizza. The pizzas are prepared according to a traditional recipe, with fresh ingredients, a perfectly baked airy crust and the authentic taste of Italy. The restaurant is certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), which proves that they work according to the original Neapolitan standard. Also tried the delivery service and it is fast and reliable, ideal also for companies because they can deliver on invoice. Definitely worth it!

To start positively, I would like to compliment the pizzas, definitely recommended. However, the service was less. During dinner the time between dishes took very long and ordering drinks was quite a task. Now the wait is not a problem, but the time slot they pointed out to us was a problem. Now we were asked to leave because they "couldn't handle it". It then turned out that there was a new group waiting, which was why we had to leave. All in all, delicious food, but the service was definitely an area for improvement.

Great experience! The pizzas are wonderfully authentic and clearly made with love. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced and the delivery was fast and friendly. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves real Neapolitan pizza!

And then the pizzas… just perfect! Fresh, tasty and exactly as it should be. We will definitely come back here!

Went here specifically because they make real Neapolitan pizzas that meet AVPN standards. We also bake pizzas at home so we were very curious about "the real deal". Unfortunately a bit disappointed. No nicely puffed edges and the tuna looked almost raw from a can. Wet dough under the vegetables. We also missed some atmospheric Italian music.

We have been back many times now and the food remains of consistent quality. The service is also friendly and helpful. Actually, I wouldn't give such a high score, because the restaurant is not large and is already fully booked. All those positive reviews make it more and more busy, but LoLo simply deserves it, so they get 5 stars again. The food is fantastic in the cozy, fairly small restaurant in a very nice neighborhood (there are plenty of terraces on the Ginnekenmarkt in the summer and you can also eat outside)

The pizzas are very good. It's also scandalous how you are reminded three times that you are only allowed to stay for an hour and a half before the next time slot starts and you get the bill well before the time slot is up. And while you're waiting half an hour for your pizza. This way you have a tight hour to eat your pizza and dessert, after which you can pay and leave. Very unwelcoming. I love good pizza, but I won't be going here again anytime soon.

Normally delicious pizzas, but tonight a soft, lukewarm wet pizza. I placed an order for pick up at 6pm, order was ready on time but was no longer warm. Shame. Better luck next time, because the pizzas are delicious.

I think it's the best pizza I've ever had. The dough is really tasty too. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy, with a bit of a Berlin vibe, and the owner is very nice. We were there with the family and will definitely go there more often, highly recommended!

We like to come to you for the delicious pizzas, this time the starter was slightly burnt on the crusts and the pizza we always take, the sauce was different. This can happen, so we certainly won't stay away.

Delicious food and the service is just good. Atmosphere is a bit less because delivery people walk in and out with great regularity. But yes, that is inherent to the fact that you are eating in a pizza bar. Doesn't detract from the quality of the pizzas, because it's great!

Had to wait a long time for the desserts and in the end not everything was ready. As a result, some did not have dessert as it took too long. But the food itself is very tasty!

Unfortunately our last visit was not so positive. Made a reservation for inside, so I walk in and say that I have a reservation, which apparently I have to report to the employee outside, so I walk to her outside, and then am guided back inside to a table. Ordered brushetta, it took at least 25 minutes, of which 1 side of the crust was burnt pitch black, and the middle was soggy and soft from the wet tomatoes. Well, fine, just eat around it. Bottles are picked up from the table and we order pizza, which arrived fairly quickly and was otherwise fine. However, that board with the black crust remained on the table the entire time, while other things were cleared from the table. Normally we like to come here, but this experience ensures that we will look for a pizza or Italian somewhere next time, which is a shame

One slightly negative comment about the staff not realising that one of the beers we wanted was actually on the menu list. We were told it was not there. Staff very friendly, pizza delicious and portion size was perfect.

The pizzas were very good, but the salad was a big disappointment. Especially if you expect a nice fresh salad as a side dish. We got a small portion for almost €10, and to our surprise, a large part of the lettuce was already spoiled. A real shame, because this ruined an otherwise excellent meal. In the photo I have thrown away a large part of the spoiled lettuce from the container. This was left on my plate.

We were part of the first shift and there wasn't any pasta anymore. This means the whole night nobody could eat half the assortment. The main focas was on delivery so our glasses were mostly empty. The view was splendid, you could see the whole market.

Good pizza. Unbearably slow service. The restaurant prioritizes giving out takeaway delivery orders before serving sitting customers, so safely count in 1.5h for a simple order.

It's a nice and cozy place. It wasn't our first time at Lolo Breda, thus yesterday with my wife we've decided to celebrate our Anniversary's wedding. Lolo make us happy and satisfied every time. Best pizza in the Netherlands! Lunch - 02nd May - I am an Italian living in the Netherlands We ordered Pizza Bufala and the pizza of the month (Stracciatella), both amazing. Real Italian pizza baker that loves his job and has a passion for pizza + wood hoven + high quality ingredients = very Italian pizza Great location, pretty place with indoor and outdoor options and free and nearby parking. Good coffe as well! I Highly recommend it!

Really delicious food with good value for money. The service sometimes seemed a bit messy, but they were very friendly and helped us adapt the food for me as a pregnant woman. Had a very nice evening. Recommended!

Highly recommended pizza restaurant. It's a 30-minute walk from Breda city centre but the more residential surroundings around the restaurant are worth walking for, leaving alone the good quality of the pizza. The pizzas are very nice and the dough is very light to eat. Good sizes and prices. They always have a pizza of the day, which seems more expensive than the rest. We tried the classic calzone, the tartufo pizza, quattro formaggi and the bufala. The bufala had too much ruccola to our liking but regardless it was yummy. The staff are nice and accommodating. The space isn't very big so we recommend booking in advance. However, it is not super noisy and feels homely and calm. We'll be back for sure! We'll have to try their desserts the next time.

Pizza was good, thanks to the Italian. Operation inexperienced and poorly trained by the Dutch owner. Bottle of wine that is already open. Limoncello that is not cold. They don't know grappa. So just a fake Italian restaurant.

Food was very tasty and portions just enough. From a real pizza oven. Service decent. Little choice in drinks. The time to eat is relatively short (1.5 hours), so the new guests are waiting for the table at “their” time, but the restaurant is not large, which caused crowds during the change of place settings. That gave us a rushed feeling. Tip; cover the wooden sofa instead of those thin cushions, this is really not comfortable!!

Leuke tent alleen ben ik er 3 keer geweest voor spaghetti en iedere keer hadden ze het niet.

trafiliśmy w internecie na to miejsce. Mają naprawdę dobrą pizze, bardzo zbliżoną do takiej jaką można dostać w dobrej, włoskiej restauracji. Dobrej jakości, świeże składniki. Obsługa miła i bardzo młoda, czas oczekiwania nie najkrótszy, ale jest tam pełno i lepiej mieć rezerwację bo w lokalu nie ma zbyt wielu stolików.

I would rate it 3. The dough is fresh and baked to perfection. The salami and cheese was perfect. The only thing in lower was the amount of base sauce in my pepperoni pizza. It felt like cheese pepperoni pizza. I assume they did it to prevent a chewy pizza base. Pricing is on good side of pocket. If the fix the pizza saus im coming here everyday ;) Edit: they really put passion in it and they perfected during my 2nd visit. Now im rating it 5 star

Leuke sfeervolle locatie in t hart van Ginneken, met de beste pizza's van Breda. Heel vriendelijk personeel, alleen is het restaurant wat krap en het meubeulair ook wat oncomfortabel. Ondanks dat een prima tentje om lekker en betaalbaar te eten.

Mijn man en ik zijn meerdere malen bij Lolo geweest. Pizza is uitmuntend. Het beste dat wij in Nederland hebben gegeten en dat doen we het voor. Voor de ambiance hoef je niet te gaan; het is erg shabby, tafels zijn niet altijd schoon, stoelen en bankjes hebben betere tijden gekend, etcetera. Bediening is goed maar niet betrokken. Geen wonder, je bent omringd door tieners alleen. Ze doen hun best maar ze ‘zien het’ soms niet. Er is ook een komen en gaan van pizza bezorgers, het kan storend zijn voor de gasten die zitten te eten. Kortom, je hebt niet het gevoel ‘uit eten’ te gaan en dat is jammer. Maar als je trek in pizza hebt en je wilt uitmuntend pizza’s eten, Lolo is ‘the place to be’. Wij hebben geleerd na de pizza’s ergens anders te gaan voor toetje en drankje. Zo houden we vast het gevoel dat we uit zijn geweest.

Toch wel de lekkerste pizza uit de omgeving. De wandeling er naar toe zeker waard. Leuke sfeer en ook erg lekkere deserts.

Deze lage beoordeling verdient uitleg. Pizza's zijn van zeer goede kwaliteit en (voornamelijk onervaren) personeel doet kei hard hun best. Echter, een aantal keer op het terras gezeten en meermaals 1.5-2.0 uur gewacht op twee pizza's. Dit terwijl de pizza's via onlinebetellingen de deur uitvliegen. Mijns inziens een hiaat en verbeterpunt in management. 'Even snel een pizza eten' zit er helaas vaak niet in. Teleurstellend. Vervelend voor het zeer aardige personeel dat de verbale klappen van de mensen moet opvangen vanwege mismanagement. Een lage beoordeling om hopelijk iets of iemand wakker te schudden.

Geweldige Pizzabar/Ristorante op het gezellige Ginnekenmarktje! Smaakvolle Antipasti en goed belegde knapperige pizza's. Bediening is ook dik in orde. Terras voor de deur op het Ginnekenmarktje, alsof je in Italia zit. Kortom, een echte aanrader!

BEST PIZZA IN NOORD BRABANT - and yes, I'm italian and I live in the Netherlands for 13 years now. FINALLY a joy that "brought" me back home!

Heerlijke pizza 's. Sfeer en ambiance (binnen) viel erg tegen. Om de haverklap ging de deur open voor afhalers en bezorgservices. Brengt veel ongewenste reuring met zich mee. Ons werd onmiddellijk te verstaan gegeven dat we een tijdsblok hadden van 1,5 uur. Maw 'beetje dooreten'! Al met al -afgezien van de kwaliteit van de 🍕- vonden wij het geheel een afknapper.

Het eten was echt lekker. Focaccia, insalata burrata en caprese waren super. De pizza’s zagen er goed uit. Smaak was goed. Maar is net geen Napolitaanse pizza. Te weinig lucht in de korst. Enige aanmerking voor de bediening. Bij het opnemen van de bestelling werd er niet om de drankjes gevraagd. Drankjes lieten lang op zich wachten een paar keer. Personeel is wel vriendelijk en kwam (na de blunder van de drankjes) wel regelmatig checken of alles nog naar wens was.

Het eten is heerlijk, perfect zelfs. De ontvangst en bediening laat helaas flink te wensen over. Het bestellen duurt lang. Druk was het niet. De helft van de tafel wordt afgehaald. De rest volgt 20 minuten later met het verzoek gelijk af te rekenen. Bij het pinnen rond je het bedrag naar boven af, een dankjewel blijft in zijn geheel uit. Jammer, dit doet het eten tekort.

Heerlijk gegeten. Erg vriendelijke service. Beste pizza van Breda! Meer kan ik er niet over zeggen.

Vriendelijk, gastvrij, fijn tafeltje aan de straat en gewoon erg lekker eten.

Het eten was heerlijk. Gezellig gezeten. En alles is erg betaalbaar. Een absolute aanrader!

Deze zondag was het zo ver, etentje bij LoLo stond op de planning. Ik en een maatje van de hok gingen hier samen met de tweelingzus van Sam Rieks wat eten. Lekker gegeten leuke sfeer werd prima geholpen. We konden ons alleen een beetje storen aan de verstrooide jongen die vanuit de keuken helemaal het terras op liep om vervolgens alleen even met ons of z’n ouders te praten. Voor de rest top restaurant kan niet anders zeggen. Ik ga hier vaker langs hoor haha ; )

Op het eten is helemaal niks aan te merken. Daarom 4 sterren. Echt super goed! De bediening was helaas iets minder dit keer.. Het duurde lang, de meiden stonden te hangen aan de bar en daarbij stond er ook nog harde house muziek op. Ook was er meer aandacht voor het terras dan voor de mensen die binnen zaten. Dit alles was de vorige keer dat we bij LOLO waren niet dus vonden het erg jammer.. Maar nogmaals, de pizza was echt heerlijk!

top eten maar de service en bezorging is niet best. Nu via hun eigen site besteld omdat het zo lang duurde met thuisbezorgd de vorige keer maar duurt nog langer. ja het was druk op het terras en dus wordt mijn bestelling gewoon naar achteren verplaatst. Volgende keer gewoon weer thuisbezorgd want dan bepalen zij de tijd. Sorry jongens

We hebben weer, net als alle voorgaande keren, een overheerlijke pizza gegeten bij LOLO!! Alles was verder volledig naar wens, een vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening, prima wijntjes en het tempo was tot slot ook perfect! ga zo door LOLO!
