Very nice place with a couple of tables to sit and eat. Everything is nice except for the fact that there is NO VEGAN OPTION other than plain bread which is very disappointing.

This is a vibrant bakery with limited seating for dining in, they offer some outdoor benches which will be nice if it is not raining. They have a huge crowd coming for their pastries but cashier is efficient so wait is short. Their baked goods are excellent. I enjoyed my special cheese and cranberry sauce sandwich; they complement each other perfectly. This bakery is definitely worth another visit for their pastries!

Overall disappointed by the pastries which were not soft enough and overcooked. The bread, however, is very good.

My favorite bakery! The pastries are amazing. Love their coffee too. This place gets busy so be prepared to be in line if you’re coming at a popular time.

Best coffee, bread and viennoiserie gem in West. Everything is made with so much love by the nicest passionate staff, who always make you feel at home. One of the baker boys Sweder proudly gave me a wonderful delicious focaccia to taste. I’ll be back!

I went to meet up with two friends, they had great specialty coffees with cow- and plant based milks. Lovely looking (and tasty!) pastries and bread, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall atmosphere was very calming and enjoyable. Definitely recommend 🤍

Louf is an absolute gem of a bakery in Amsterdam! The cozy ambiance and inviting vibe make it the perfect spot to unwind. I had an oat flat white, and it was simply delicious—smooth and perfectly made. Their baked goods are equally impressive, from the fragrant cardamom pastry to the indulgent Petitos (a larger, chocolate-filled croissant-like pastry) and an amazing apple pastry. Each bite was delightful, and it’s clear they put a lot of care into their creations. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great coffee and fresh, flavorful pastries!

I had a cheese sandwich and a cinnamon roll croissant. The cheese sandwich was very nice but a little heavy. It may not suit everyone's taste, but I liked it very much. Cinnamon roll was amazing. It is both light and extremely delicious. Must definitely beat.

This cafe is definitely one of the top cafes in Amsterdam. Located in west, you will find a cozy ambiance indoor and a street-style outdoor. Wide variety of options and the taste is simply great. Their coffee is also super good and they offer all kind of options. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Very good sourdough bread and my fav is their pain au chocolat with hazenults. I love it. Nice vibe as well.

Great bakery, shame they don’t serve decaf 😱 would be nice if they could have some tables outside to accomodate the crowds. Also, if you’re dining in, there is no table service you have to join the long queue, which is a pain.

Best bakery of our trip! Good selection of sweet and savory. Coffees were also very good. A good bit of indoor seating and some benches outside too but it gets very busy so seating may be full.

We came here on a Saturday morning and it was packed!! Luckily we got ourselves a seat. I like the vibe here, even thought it wish it were a bit more spacious. The pastries were really delicious! Great pastry - very buttery, but not as oily as Fort Negen for example. Nice mix of fresh breads and pastries both sweet and savory, excellent coffees. Well managed line and a nice atmosphere inside.

Sourdough is okay, not the best I’ve had in the city and not the worst. There are no vegan options in terms of pastry.

The vegan sandwich was tasty & filling - good! But we waited for a LONG time for our two coffees… the vibe is okay - but the place is quite tiny, need to “hunt” for a table…

I bought a loaf of sourdough from here. It was the BEST sourdough I’ve ever had. Dough hydration was perfect, and the taste was amazing. Would also recommend getting a coffee here as well🫶

Super flakey croissants. Mustard and ham&cheese were good. Coffees were average. Got here around 9am weekday, wasn’t busy and had sests available. Staff were friendly. Got a hipster vibe about it. I would recommend their croissants.

The best bread in Amsterdam, I cycle 5 km to get the bread there. It is moist and very good quality, it does not spike my sugar level as other bread does. Very happy with this bakery.

This bakery is my best pic in Amsterdam so far. They provide the bread of the week, which requires much much thoughts for selecting each week. And all of the breads I tried so far was delicious. Only one thing I couldn’t see the toilets but maybe they have?

Best bread, great coffee, but way too busy…

Louf in the picturesque heart of Amsterdam offers top quality products. The bakers show excellent craftsmanship. Their croissants: crispy on the outside, velvety soft on the inside. For only €4.50 you can enjoy an excellent espresso and delicious croissant, ideal to start your day. Louf is an absolute must for gourmets.

I've been to all the bakeries like Arms, but this one does some bread. The sourdough is especially delicious, so be sure to try the pastrami sandwich, and the cinnamon bun is perfect to fill your mouth. Coffee is just okay.

This has become my favourite sourdough bakery in town! Highly recommend the baguette, croissant and if you’re in for a special treat: hazelnut pain au chocolat and the orange blossom brioche. I’ve seen people drink coffee here but I’ve always gotten a take away. Not a lot of place to sit down but you can head to the next door park for a stroll!

Please advertise that you do not allow laptops! There were no signs, and this led to quite a bad experience. My partner and I walked in at 14:30 today, and he sat down and opened his laptop to work while I waited to order our drinks. It was a sunny day, so others sat outside on the bench, but we were the only ones at a table inside. I ordered, sat down, and opened a book, while the staff made drinks and cleared another table. After a few minutes, our drinks were dropped off with an unfriendly “no laptops”. I then had to go back to the bar and get to-go cups as we obviously could not stay any longer. It sucks we were only notified after the drinks had been ordered and brought to us (as the staff was around our table before then). I had to hurriedly pour our drinks into to-go cups and leave to return home since we could not go to another cafe with our drinks. We were excited to try out a new cafe as we just moved to the area, but this experience has left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. The drinks were good, but not worth the price and experience.

We had the plain croissant, chocolate croissant, and the apple Danish. Surprisingly the Danish was my favorite, and had a nice balance of sweet and buttery. The croissant was great, but it could use a bit more butter if you ask me ;-)

This is a true hidden gem. Such a great place to spend time. Vibe is so good. And than the staff, so friendly and helpful. Than the food, you won’t be disappointed, great quality freshly baked and they have specials like sandwiches with rabarber and such. Or their cookies or special croissants… i can go on and on. Just go their you won’t be disappointed. (Tip be early because once the sell out it’s not being restocked)

Great viennoiserie. The croissant had an excellent honey comb shape inside. The cinnamon knot was delicious. Reasonable price. The design of the places is very beautiful as well. It’s very small, but there is a beautiful park next door where you can have a picnic 😉

Bakery with loads of goodies! We had ours to-go but they still amazing and great! The mustard croissant is a must try!

This place became our daily morning spot because of the winning mix of incredible pastries, friendly staff, and super cute ambiance. The cheese mustard croissants are not to be missed. Also the cinnamon knots are light and not overly sweet. On the weekends they have a miso chocolate chip cookie which was warm, gooey and so delicious - very special.

Beautiful space - and beautiful kitty outside the bakery - and the pastries all looked delicious. It was heaving when I visited (a Friday lunchtime) so I had to take my lunch away. Service wasn’t wildly friendly and although the bread in my sandwich was perfect the filling was only so-so. Would definitely return - at a quieter time - and try and the sweet treats next time.

We wanted to try this place for a while. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to the expectations. Food was average, not justifying the price (escargot was very dry, cinnamon croissant was good but nothing special), coffee and hot chocolate were better than food. We weren’t really welcomed when coming in and we found the staff very rude. Tables were very dirty with previous orders and not cleaned up. Overall atmosphere was not nice. After being invited to a re-tasting session, adjusting the star rating from 3 to 4 stars due to a better experience vs previous time. Food (pepito, apple danish) and drinks (oat cappuccino and hot chocolate) were very good, tables were cleaned up and in order, however there is room for improvement when it comes to friendliness and positive attitude of the staff which would justify the premium price for breakfast since table service is not allowed!

Stopped for a quick coffee and snack. Delicious. Highly recommended
