The food is delicious! Very affordable. Saw a review about “half-cooked bread rolls.. “ but where else do you pay €2 for a 🥖 herb butter & get a bread roll per person.. the salad is delicious, choose your preference regarding the amount of meat 🥩 I think it is a great place to eat!

If this is the best steak in rotterdam, then go vegetarian! A poor cut off meat poorly cooked. Why bother asking if i want it English rare or Dutch rare when it comes out well done? One of the members of our group had to go in and order after the waiter forgot to take his order with the rest of the table, that should have been a sign!

Cozy little restaurant (the large upstairs is rarely necessary) with excellent meat from a real grill. Don't forget the chimichurri! In good weather, there is a small terrace outside on the Lijnbaan.

Popped in here after work on the way back to the hotel. Very friendly staff and service was efficient. Rib-eye steak was delicious with perfect charring on the outside and perfectly medium-rare on the inside. Would definitely come back again. 👍👍

This place is a hidden gem. The only reason why I didn't rate them with a 5 star, is because the service is not the best. It is just correct. And the music does not create an Argentinian environment. But the food is EXCELLENT, and the price is very good as well. I will definitely be back very soon.

Very bad experience. There were 7 of us, and we were seated at a service table where the staff eats, even though there were available tables upstairs. This was already quite disrespectful. During the meal, we constantly had to ask for fries, sauces, and even glasses. Nothing was brought proactively. When it came time to pay, we were asked to wait. During the roughly 15 minutes we waited, several other tables were able to pay before us. We eventually had to go to the counter ourselves. The payment process for our table started, but the staff continued to check out other tables before finishing with us. All of this gave us a strong feeling of being treated differently and unfairly. As racialized customers, this experience unfortunately left us with the impression of discrimination. It’s a shame, because this kind of behavior is unacceptable in an establishment that serves the public.

They prepare everything over real charcoal, and you can taste it! The empanadas are also highly recommended!

An Argentinian theme would make a 5-star place. As an Argentinian, I can say that the meat is quite acceptable.

I ate here on October 26th. The waiter was disinterested and completely uncommunicative. This restaurant is located in a building that used to be a Chinese restaurant, and no real effort has been made to improve the atmosphere or make it more suitable for the current food scene. It's also in need of some renovation. As a starter, we were given overcooked, mushy white baguettes with herb butter. Nothing appetizing about them. The guacamole with tortilla chips was both stone cold. The empanadas tasted okay, but there was more dough than filling and they were definitely not freshly made. The sirloin steak came with a bottle of garlic sauce and contained quite a few inedible pieces (tendons). I thought it was quite expensive (€26.75). My companion's surf and turf (tenderloin and prawns) was good but also came with a bottle of sauce (€37.50). It was served with thin-cut fries (not special) and a small bowl of iceberg lettuce with bottled cocktail sauce. The price-quality ratio is seriously poor. The food here isn't prepared with care and attention, and the service isn't attentive either.

We came in, ordered a sandwich beforehand, and were given four half-cooked baguettes that looked like they came straight from the supermarket. No effort, no flavor, just ridiculous. With the appetizer, we were given spareribs that almost had to be chopped off the bone, and sausages so disgusting you wouldn't feed them to your dog. Then came the main course, which was exactly the same meat as the appetizer: the same disgusting sausages, tough spareribs with cheap supermarket BBQ sauce, a piece of fat that was supposed to be steak, and some tasteless other meat that was also useless. The "salad" absolutely topped it all: some lettuce, a tomato, cocktail sauce (why?), and a few stray raisins. As if someone threw that together in five seconds flat. As if that wasn't enough, we also got a small bowl of guacamole... with olives on top. Seriously? Who does that? That absolutely topped it all. No idea who came up with that, but it was truly ridiculous. In short: this was by far the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. And they have the nerve to charge 65 euros per person. Disgraceful.

No one can beat the taste of Los Torros. It's been the best for years. Even my young children love steak now.

The quality of the meat was terrible. A Ribeye should be tender and succulent and instead it was tough and tasteless. Moderate prices but I strongly advise against it for those who like meat and understand it.

Wij hadden trek in biefstuk op valentijnsdag. Op internet stond los Toros goed aangeschreven dus hadden wij gereserveerd. Toen we aankwamen zag het er goed uit wel wat krapjes. Het is een argatijns restaurant wat word gerund word door Hindoestanen. Je kreeg als voorafje Stokbrood en kruidenboter. Stokbrood leek gwn uit een pakje van de lidl en kruidenboter ook. De gastheer vond ik ook niet zo super hij werd gebeld en ging letterlijk voor je tafel lopen bellen en stond ook meerdere keren voor je tafel voor niks. Heel vervelend. Vlees was wel oké. Verder kreeg je salade zag er heel goedkoop uit en saus moet je voor vragen. Had er wel veel meer van verwacht. Wij vroegen chimichurri maar dat stond al op tafel. Het was bruin maar dacht dat dat altijd groen was. Wij hebben dit niet gegeten. Er waren mensen die gereserveerd hadden en geen plek hadden. Die werden weggestuurd en moesten later weer terugkomen. Zou hier niet nog een keer eten. Erg jammer.

Didn't look well attended from the outside. Drinks were at room temperature and not carbonated. Side salad came quite quickly but there wasn't much to it, unfortunately the sauce came from a tube. The rump steak and the rib eye were both ok in terms of taste, but very mixed and the sauce that came with it was straight out of the bag... Any fries shop in the area would have done better with the fries as a side dish! Staff only stands at the counter and is not friendly. A real shame for Argentine cuisine

Spareribs literally tasted like ready-made junk from the supermarket. Steak was fine but very tasteless, we had to add a lot of salt and pepper ourselves. Furthermore, I found the service chaotic. The vibe wasn't exactly pleasant either! Didn't really get the idea that this was an Argentinian restaurant.

I expected more, softer meat for the spare ribs, more grill flavor to my steak, the question whether you want mayo or ketchup, since it is not on the menu. I think the atmosphere depends on what kind of people are there at that moment.

Steak had no flavor on its own, which is I guess why they have all the sauces. But it was also VERY tough meat. Hard to cut, hard to chew. Also they charge 1 euro for ketchup/mayo, which I’ve never heard of in my life. For condiments? Really? Who eats fries without condiments?

The food was dirty and really not that bad. People didn't understand me even though I just speak Dutch. They said I was wearing ugly shoes, which I thought was very strange. I think the coke was extra zero. They scooped this cola out of a well somewhere in Zimbabwe... at least that's what it tasted like.

There was one man serving. To be fair, he was nice and ran wild. But couldn't keep up and the kitchen is small and understaffed, so part of the group had to wait a very long time while the rest had already finished. And then that food. I had spare ribs, € 24.50 for fries, simple salad and 2 large pieces of spare rib. Getting mayonnaise took forever but the worst part is that the spare ribs are downright bad. Dry, burnt black. This is what I would get if I put ribs on the BBQ, watch a movie, sleep for two hours and then think 'gosh, those spare ribs!' Downright dirty and as a dish not even worth € 12.50 as far as I'm concerned.

Sparibbs has the structure of a dried-out sandwich, we heard people at the table say that we didn't like it, we thought we'd give it a try anyway, we shouldn't have gone the next day with severe diarrhea... the only good thing about that place was the wine.

Restaurant to avoid, the rips are burnt and have no taste, the sauce is cold and tasteless. I'm not even talking about fries, anything more basic is not possible. Even the drinks were made haphazardly. I advise you not to go there, move on.

My girl and I had made a reservation here. This restaurant gets a good score on Google. The waiter was friendly, so much for the good news. My girl and I looked at each other in a bit of surprise when we were able to take a seat at the window on cowhide skins. A musty smell came from the skins. The table was not set. No placemat, nothing! As an appetizer we had bread with herb butter. These two rolls were baked-off rolls from the supermarket, the herb butter was too meager. The carpaccio seemed to come straight from Madurodam, so small. There were things on it that shouldn't be on it, like cucumber, tomato and iceberg lettuce underneath with powdered cheese. By now we were laughing. When the main course was ordered, we immediately received a salad in a shabby white bowl, 10 minutes later a plate of fries and two plates with steak and a leaf of arugula arrived. We had to ask for mayonnaise separately. At this point we had had it. Didn't take dessert. Perhaps we should have known that this is not a real Argentinian restaurant but a restaurant run entirely by Indian people. They will never see us here again.

Vlees was erg lekker en goed bereid, frietjes en de sla die je erbij krijgt vielen een beetje tegen. Service was oke, had wel wat vriendelijker gemogen maar zou me niet tegenhouden om hier nog ene keer te gaan eten.

Zeer matig. Voorgerechten weinig smaakvol. Doorbakken bife de lomo terwijl medium rare besteld. Tevens dunne lap met vet, met andere woorden slechte kwaliteit vlees. Geen wijnkeuze. Volgende keer maar iets meer geld kwijt voor betere kwaliteit.

What great food. Greeted kindly upon entering. Non-alcoholic cocktail was no problem at all. Salad wonderfully fresh. And the meat just wow. I will come here immediately when I am in Rotterdam again.

Een restaurant door trivago goed aangeschreven. Was dicht bij ons hotel. Kwamen binnen, kan update gebruiken. De spareribs waren zo taai dat het mes er bijna niet door ging. Smaak was wel goed. Je besteld een gingerbeer maar krijgt het al ingeschonken in een glas en dit was zeker niet wat op de kaart stond. Al met al teleurstellend etentje.

Last night we went to Los Toros, both of us as meat lovers. We both ordered the carpaccio and it was stone cold and could have been frozen. I can be brief about the taste, it wasn't really there with the carpaccio. The parmanzan cheese was hard to find and the truffle mayonnaise was almost non-existent. The steaks we ordered (with garlic) were tasty. Too bad the bowl of salad was there, which looked like it had already been served earlier in the week and came out of the freezer. Also very cold. To be honest, the served fries gave us a bit of a McDonald's feeling. The staff was also friendly and hospitable.

The meat is absolutely not seared. Too bad for a restaurant specializing in meat. Second, you accept a reservation at 9 p.m., and you put pressure on your customers to hurry up and eat. I understand that your employees have public transportation, but there is no need to tell us this 5 times while we are waiting for you to take your order. Finally, when a customer tells you that their meat is cold (ground steak requested cooked to medium), you do not respond “my meat comes from the kitchen I know it is hot”. Fortunately she comes out of the kitchen. You suggest to your client to recook it lightly. In short, restaurants to avoid! Unless you want to eat badly, be unwelcome, and be looked down upon.

i ordered the vegetarian menu and got a beef pastry instead of a corn pastry. When i cried about it and stuff the waiter told me to check my food next time before i cut it?? In the end he did not charge my meal but still.

perfect for dinner with someone special, the atmosphere was incredible with candles, the sofas were personalized which made everything much more romantic. And all the people who work there served us well and were always attentive and wanted to know if everything was to our liking.
