Lovano Kitchen and Bar in Wijk 02 Oerle

Eating out at Lovano was nothing but praise. What a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food, we had the 4 course surprise menu. In one word fantastic. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed the layout and presentation of the dishes. The explanation for each dish was good and clear. The price of the menu is slightly on the high side, but certainly not extreme. We are satisfied and will definitely come back. There is also an option for lunch and they have a beautiful terrace with lovely sofas. I would say go there, you won't regret it.

The food taste was good, but the amount of food for what you pay is absurd. I paid 20 eur for 3 small pieces of tuna sashimi and 1 shrimp. If you pretend to to be fancy, at least make sure people don't leave hungry.

There were four of us. We each only had the main course, Fjordcot. The menu says this dish includes salad and fries. However, we had to share a small bowl of salad (more lettuce than the rest) and a small bowl of fries between four of us. We were charged for extra fries. We won't be seeing them again!

We had a dinner here with my husband and friends. The cocktails were good, service was nice and quick, but unfortunately the fish that I’ve ordered (Fjord Cod) was completely not tasty: bland and burnt a little. My friend ordered crispy pizza and it was so salty and covered with a lot of sauce on small tortilla’s, that wasn’t really good. And portion was too small that I’ve stayed hungry. I put 3 stars only because the food that others ordered (meat and lobster) were tasty, but also small.

Had a nice lunch, very nicely taken care of. good staff. Price of lunch was on the high side.

Just waited fifteen minutes for service on the terrace. We had to wait a very long time to then receive the message that outside is only for reservations and that we had to go inside. We went to the other side where we immediately got a spot in the sun. That was a warm welcome for a new resident of Oerle. Thank you De Kers 🫶🏻

De bediening was ontzettend goed, heel vriendelijk. Alles met een lach. Het was een fijne beleving. We hebben ook erg goed gegeten.

Some Bas, brown hair, served nice full glasses. And we couldn't complain about the other staff either. All in all, would love to come back for these full glasses and baaaaaassssaa

A great experience at Lovano! We came simply to enjoy a beer and were greeted with remarkable warmth and professionalism. Dorus (the bartender) knew how to transform this moment into a real moment of conviviality: attentive without being intrusive, he took care of us with little touches that made all the difference. Peanuts served at the right time, a glass of water discreetly filled several times... A service of rare quality that deserves to be highlighted. Thank you for this great experience, thank you Dorus we will come back!

Brabantse gezelligheid, bediening aardig en top gerechten. Helaas een kapot bordje, dat moet niet meer op tafel komen. Helaas kwamen de gerechten eerst en toen later het bestek. Prima locatie en fijn buiten zitten. Mooi en chique restaurant! Tot de volgende keer!

Not child friendly. We live in the neighborhood and after having a heavy flu whole family me and my 2 year old daughter visited Lovano just to change the atmosphere. While waiting for our orders my poor sick little girl opened the curtain and touched the window. I saw the waiter coming with whole speed towards us with an unpleasant facial impression and told us that “That curtain is too expensive please tell her not to touch the windows”. I was shocked and left the cafe immediately. I dont think I will ever go there again.

Super tasty food, just perfect, service as it should be, just great, we had a fantastic evening, we recommend it to everyone. The second Christmas Eve was enjoyable and we ate a fantastic 6-course menu, BUT IT IS A VERY Pity THAT THERE ARE NO PRICES FOR THE WINE OFFERED and that you HAVE TO PAY EXTRA for the FRIES, it was NOT POSSIBLE TO SELECT A WINE FROM THE WINE CARD, we thought that a disappointment. This doesn't belong in such a good restaurant.

What a wonderful surprise menu. No repetition of previous menus that we ate there, but once again full flavors and beautifully presented dishes.. In addition to all this deliciousness, they serve the most delicious cocktails. The staff quickly got the crowds under control and we enjoyed a pleasant and wonderful evening.

This is definitely recommended for lovers of exclusive dining. Unfortunately we could only choose from a course menu. Unfortunately, we found that slightly less.

We ordered the 2 course menu with 2 people. The first dish was delicious, but we hated the 2nd dish, when we reported this we immediately received a replacement dish which was delicious. Top service that it was resolved quickly. In short, highly recommended

My father would say a dirty restaurant. ;-) So don't be afraid of a starter, main course and dessert. I'm usually done with a main course, but the portions are small, so I can manage a 3-course meal. I think 4 courses is desirable for the big eater.

We enjoyed a wonderful familiy dinner, hosting eleven of us in comfort. It was a full evening with friendly staff and delicious food and wines. We had chosen for a 4 course suprise menu which was an excellent choice. We loved it from beginning to the end and we shall defenitely return there.

Hier gezellig gezeten en gegeten. Bediening behoefde nog wel wat sturing en (op)leiding, maar men luistert in ieder geval naar opmerkingen over borden inzetten. Gerechten zien er verzorgd en smakelijk uit, en zijn dat ook maar soms zijn de verrassingen niet helemaal ok... Tom kha kai is normaal altijd een warme soep en als je dat als een, overigens zeer smakelijke, koude mousse serveert, is het wel attent om de bezoeker daar even op te attenderen... Heeft iets met verwachtingsmanagement te maken. Gerechten allemaal lekker en de enige kleine tegenvaller was de wel zeer standaard frites; bij de geboden kwaliteit is dat een beetje een afknapper, maar bezoek zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Amazing restaurant where you get really tasty food, a fantastic atmosphere and can taste fantastic wines. We come back every 1/2 months and always choose the surprise menu. Only praise for this super cool and beautifully decorated eatery in the small town of Oers. Truly an asset and unparalleled experience in field courts. This restaurant is just right on all sides

Had dinner today in honor of the 60th wedding anniversary of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law (the neighbors). Good, fast service, nice staff and delicious food!

Had a lovely drink and snack here this afternoon. Lovano has a beautiful spacious terrace with both sunny and shaded tables. A nice extensive lunch menu and a friendly team. I thought the verdejo tasted a bit bland, so next time I think I'll try a different wine, but I'm sure there will be a next time because the interior decor and the dinner menu also looked great. More than 10 different beers on tap and various wines in glass and bottle. Nice restaurant

Delicious meal on the terrace. Too bad other guests were allowed to smoke. Thick plumes of smoke were blown in our direction while we were eating.

Somewhere on the terrace, in Oerle, in the sun…. This time lunch at Lovano. Not the cheapest, but still delicious. We had a sandwich, salad, soup and lunch platter: all four delicious. Service neat and just calm on Sunday afternoon: not rushed, but suitably relaxed.

First time we had dinner here, even though we are Veldhoven residents (really not possible😅). We had to be quick, so we only had the main course. We had a 2-person tomahawk steak with sweet potato fries + truffle mayo. We thought it was very tasty and it was served beautifully. The Primitivo wine was also very tasty. Service was good. Highly recommended and we would love to come back for a more extensive evening.

We enjoyed an amazing dining experience at Lovano kitchen and Bar, and was the highlight of our trip to the Netherlands. The owner Marly recommended the “surprise menu” which did not disappoint. Each dish that came out was so delicious and creative and like nothing we have had before. Our favourite was the Japanese pannenkoek and the duck ravioli. We also really enjoyed the “flower flavour” cocktail and the whiskey sour. The ambience was lively yet intimate and we loved that we could see into the kitchen and watch the chefs expertly put the finishing touches on the dishes right before they came out to the table. The staff were lovely and you could tell that they loved to be there. Thank you Lovano kitchen and bar for a dining experience we will never forget. Cant wait to come back!

It is always a great pleasure to be a guest here. I just wondered what the meat from the dryer would taste like!

Delicious soup, quite expensive, especially when you can't even eat one slice of bread. Apparently yes when it's lunchtime, but not if you order it around 5 p.m. Really a miss. Furthermore, a very nice place, nice staff, but the soup could have been dressed up a bit more for €12 per portion

We only went for drinks, so I cannot rate the food. We had cocktails, and they were ok. The ambiance is very agreable, the personel kind, the decor inviting. Overal a cozy experience. We will go back to try the food.

I have eaten at Lovano regularly and it never disappoints. The 'surprise menu' is highly recommended. They take any allergies into account (it is nice if you indicate this in advance, of course). It is good to notice that a lot of attention has been paid to everything: from the beautiful interior to the beautiful plates and the attentive service. If you go for a 4, 5 or 6-course dinner, you can count on a delicious, full evening program where you will lack nothing. But you can also go here for a tasty lunch or a nice drink.

It was really horrible, the food was not tasty. I went there for dinner last Thursday and it gave me food poisoning. The staff was very customer unfriendly. I will not come back here again.

Over het eten weinig klachten, redelijk aan de prijs maar verder perfect en mooi opgemaakte bordjes. Bediening was ronduit slecht. Je moet je jas zelf ophangen, ondanks dat er 2 dames op n afstandje staan te kijken. Wachttijd tussen 1e en 2e gerecht heel erg lang, we kregen geen aandacht en regelmatig liep er personeel langs met lege handen, hallo onze tafel stond vol met lege borden en glazen. De Sommellier snapte er weinig van. Vlgs hem schonk hij n wijn met twee druiven, Rioja en Alicante. Hallo dat zijn wijnstreken, geen druiven. De wijn is veel te duur, prijs kwaliteit klopt helemaal niet. Karaf water hadden ze niet. Alleen n fles. (€6,-) Samengevat te duur, slecht personeel maar wel goed eten. Voor ons geen volgende keer.

Excellent restaurant in Veldhoven with a wide choice of a la carte or surprise menu. Opted for the 6 course menu where sufficient time was taken between courses before the next dish was served. Well-stocked wine list with various wines from different countries. Worth repeating.

Lekker gegeten bij Lovano. 1ste keer en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Goede smakelijke gerechten, goede smaak balans. Zeker een aanrader om naar toe te gaan. Er zijn wat aandachtspuntjes zoals ijs nabrengen in een glas zonder lepel waardoor je met je handen het ijs moet pakken en nog wat kleine dingen. Vriendelijke eigenaresse/gastvrouw die ook aangaf dag de gereserveerde tafel voor kerst, een hoge tafel, niet ons ding was. Erg attent en eerlijk. Komen zeker terug

The service was super friendly. We're still learning Dutch and the staff did switch back to it, even though is VERY noticeable we're still not good at it. The coffee was good and the appelgebak was wonderful. Also the music is very relaxing and has a great vibe.

Gisteravond hier met vrienden gegeten. We gingen voor het 5-gangenmenu en van tevoren had ik al afgesproken dat de dry ager in het hoofdgerecht zou worden verwerkt. We werden niet teleurgesteld. Prachtig opgemaakte en smaakvolle voor- en tussengerechten passeerden de revue. Er werden heerlijke wijnen geserveerd en ook de Oersterk Tripel liet zich goed smaken. Na bijna 3.5 uur tafelen waren we het er snel over eens. Topavond met topchef en fijne bediening.

We kwamen spontaan aan voor een diner en hebben heerlijk gegeten. Vriendelijk personeel en een veelzijdige kaart. Aanrader!

We hebben met 4 personen uitstekend gegeten voor een zeer redelijk bedrag; € 45 voor een uitstekend 4 gangen menu. De gerechten zijn niet bijzonder groot maar wel bijzonder smakelijk. Bediening is vriendelijk en professioneel, wat wil je nog meer? Aanpassen aan glutenvrij eten was geen enkel probleem. Prima restaurant!

Niet ons type terras, veel te chic en strak waardoor sfeerloos. Maar als je ervan houdt...

Eten en drinken was super goed. Service en bediening perfect, alles goed op elkaar afgestemd.

Complimenten aan de keuken, er wordt hoge kwaliteit eten geserveerd. Er wordt goed rekening gehouden met dieetwensen en allergieën. Wij hebben een fijne avond gehad!

Hier hebben wij heerlijke aspergesoep gegeten en het appelgebak was ook om je vingers bij af te likken.l Fijne locatie met een fijn terras en ook binnen is het erg gezellig ingericht,

Eten is goed en leuk format, echter niet geschikt als je voedselintolerantie of allergie hebt. Ondanks uitleg en vraag of er rekening mee gehouden kon worden ging het 3 x mis en nacht ziek. Niet meer voor ons.
