Really enjoyed my experience here! The service was great and the burger was very tasty — overall, I was really happy with both the food and the service. 🤔👎The only thing I couldn’t quite understand was the texture of the meat. We ordered OakWood Burger. The patty wasn’t very juicy and felt quite dense and compact, almost as if the minced meat had been pressed and tightly packed into a mold. 🤔 It was more like a solid piece that you could almost slice, rather than a juicy, tender burger patty. That said, the flavour was really good, so if the texture of the meat could be improved, I think this could be an excellent burger. I’d definitely be happy to come back and try it again!

We were surprised how fast they food came to table given it was peak dinner rush at 1800. Once we started eating we understood why. My spare ribs were cold on the inside, looks like they simply microwaved it for a min. Partners burger didn't have much taste. I'm not going there again.

The great meat quality, really nice atmosphere and hamburgers were fair. We were there for 5 people and needed to reserve in advance for the Friday afternoon. Oakwood is popular for its meats and that’s totally true. However, for a such restaurant the burgers buns and other ingredients could be better.

The food here is delicious! You can taste that a lot of love went into preparing it. The service is also incredibly friendly and they are happy to help. I ordered the 200-gram ribeye with peppercorn sauce and I found it to be the perfect cut for me. The shared starter was also really to my liking. The crème brûlée was on the dry side and I have had better elsewhere.

Truly bizarrely good quality meat. Everything was perfectly prepared, and you can just taste that attention is paid to it. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves good meat! 🥩 And as if the food wasn't enough, we also had a ridiculously handsome waiter. I had the sirloin steak with spareribs myself. Phew, they really know what they're doing. And Judy... Thanks for the great service. We spent €300 for 4 people. (Starter and main course)

What a wonderful experience this was. We had a fantastic meal here, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and inviting. The spareribs were truly excellently prepared and fell right off the bone. The presentation on the wooden board also looked very well-cared for, especially with that beautiful parsley garnish. Everything was just perfect. We will definitely be coming back here soon. It was a top-notch evening.

We had made a reservation for dinner here. We sat upstairs, and it was fully booked, so it was a bit noisy. The service staff was exceptionally friendly, and everything ran very smoothly. The food was divine; everything was perfect. The variety of peppercorns was also fantastic. There's a very good selection on the menu, including many different beers. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, but the food is extremely expensive for the quality. We ordered the “US-style” chicken wings as a starter, but they were covered in curry seasoning, so they didn’t taste like chicken wings at all. The main courses are also overpriced. Except for burgers, for any choice of meat you have to pay an extra €4 for the sauce they cook with and another €4+ for a side dish (e.g. fries), so the final price adds up quickly. They even mention on the menu that this is done for sustainability 🤣 I ordered the lamb rack for €37+. It came with four chops, but there was almost no meat on them—just tiny pieces at the ends. It was actually surprising how little meat there was. Overall, it’s a pleasant place with excellent service, but the quality and portion sizes of the food simply don’t justify the prices.

Friendly service and nice location. Unfortunately, the food was not what we had expected. The mini burgers had rice that I think came straight from the wholesaler. The chicken wings were also quite standard with paprika, like the kind you get at the butcher. Our medium-rare steak was just medium-well done, and a medium was well-done. I don't know if they were having a bad day, but for a BBQ steakhouse, it was far from satisfactory.

We went to this restaurant with a bachelor party and it was a very good experience. The table was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. Well, that was a fantastic evening! We had an incredibly delicious meal. Starting with a starter board; what else would you start with? The bruschettas were nice and crispy, not too soft, with a delicious topping. The tortilla chips were also just as they should be, with everything from guacamole and sour cream to salsa. Everything was equally tasty, well-seasoned, and more than enough. Next, we went for the skewers; the ladies' skewer was more than enough after the generous starter. The meat was excellently prepared, with a delicious red wine sauce; nothing to complain about, in fact, better than good! To top it all off, on the recommendation of the waiter, the chocolate chip cookie. Well, that was also more than enough, more of a cook than a cookie. But so incredibly delicious that not a crumb was left. Nothing but praise for the service: super friendly, helpful, good advice; in short, top-notch!! One point of attention concerns the seating comfort. The wooden chairs weren't very comfortable and didn't exactly invite you to hang around. After 2 hours, you have a numb bum and a sore back. If *that* can be improved, the score will be a solid 10 instead of a 9!

The meat was AMAZING tasty. I eat lots of hamburgers, and tried many "recommended" hamburger restaurants, but the hamburger here, i took the xxl 250g, was just WOWWW. We all had so much fun that my daugther didnt want to leave the place. My wife took the 650g spare-ribs that were so tasty that i didnt even had the chance to try them 🤣. The service was super fast and friendly. We came back the day after for a pick-up 😀😀😀 If you are around, its worth the stop for sure. Wish you would expand to Noord Holland :) see you again next time

We went there for our 10th wedding anniversary. The food itself was good, but the price-quality ratio is not what it should be. My wife had a sour beef tenderloin, which they handled nicely (and gave her a free round of drinks), but I really don't think that is acceptable in a place where the prices are so high.

I had selected this place based on the reviews. We drove there from Recreation Park Ter Spegelt. Very friendly welcome and also very child-friendly; they were given crayons and drawing sheets while waiting. Wide choice of food, which could be personalized. View of the kitchen, the food was very tasty and sufficient for the average eater.

We had a super delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere. Good quality and good portion size. The small bookcase for 2 people as a starter was really nice. And we both had the Real Men's skewers. Perfectly cooked and delicious flavor. It is a bit pricey, but that is to be expected for this quality. The service was also good and the waitstaff were great. We had a nice, quiet spot on the upper floor.

We had another delicious meal here. We don't live nearby, but we really have to go once a year to enjoy ourselves. Delicious food and super friendly staff.

As is unfortunately the case with many hospitality establishments: the whole place is packed with guests, but the kitchen and service are playing catch-up, waiting times are too long, drinks are forgotten, there is no staff on the floor, and then some dishes aren't warm or aren't cooked through. The waitress eventually admitted that things weren't running as they should; perhaps it would be better to announce beforehand that things are going to take a bit longer instead of simply not showing up on the floor......

A lovely restaurant with an upstairs dining area. It was quite busy, but the noise inside wasn't bothersome. The staff was friendly, but due to the crowd, our table was a bit less attentive. Delicious food, you pay a hefty price, but it's definitely worth it! There's plenty of choice, but you do order à la carte, so you have to order side dishes separately! They used to provide wipes to clean your hands with spare ribs or wings, but they weren't available last time I was there. All the ice creams are really delicious, though! The service isn't great; they rarely come by, and sometimes you have to ask for attention. So far, the answering has always been flawless, so that's definitely a plus. It always seems busy here, and because of the small restaurant, the tables are very close together. It can be a bit tricky to get away from your table, but if you just sit down and stay, it's definitely doable! All in all, a nice, cozy restaurant to enjoy a meal at!

The best restaurant in the area. The steaks were melting in mouth and tasted soooo good. The starters were special and very tasty too. The deserts were top notch as well. In the end the waitress presented us with a chupachups tower and let us choose several. They also let you choose a knife for a steak and they serve steak with selection of special pepper and salt. The service was so good too, very polite and friendly. 100/10!

We had a delicious meal here. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. This restaurant might not be suitable for vegetarians, as it's mostly meat-based. Points for improvement: I find it a shame that the prices have risen considerably recently. The tomato soup was cold (which was promptly resolved, but the chef should have known), and fries aren't included with the prawn skewers. They are included with the other dishes. Surely that's worth it for €29?

Fantastic! Great service on the phone and later in the restaurant (as promised over the phone, we were called to say we could get a table earlier in the evening). They were all very genuinely friendly people, a warm and personal welcome, a lovely table, good acoustics, atmospheric decor, service-oriented ("Shall I hang up my coats?" "Shall I explain how it works?") and of course, four delicious dishes served on beautiful tableware, culminating in the (for us, nostalgic) lollipop tower! That personal touch truly made it a pleasant evening, where you can enjoy a relaxed and delicious meal. TOP! Highly recommended.

A pleasant welcome from Jacco. He clearly explained the concept and the meat choices. Excellent food quality, incredibly attentive service. The only downside was the light in the men's restroom's short time setting and the fact that there's no sensor to turn it back on when riding the porcelain pony.
