Very pricey indeed. For 2 fries, 2 frikadellen special, 1 bottle of drink, and a croquette, it's 28 euros.

The food was delicious. Everyone was well-served. The burgers are definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful meal here on Saturday afternoon. It was very busy; the entire terrace and inside were full. We were clearly told the wait time for our food, so we could decide for ourselves whether we wanted to eat there or not. We were sitting comfortably on the terrace in the sunshine, so we didn't mind the wait. We were told it would be around 45 minutes, but it actually arrived after about 35 minutes. And once you order a drink, it's on the table before you know it, nice and quick. Friendly service, cozy terrace on Koopmansplein, and the iced coffee and lemonades are highly recommended. The restrooms were also well-stocked and clean. We will be back.

Today we wanted to have lunch here around 1 p.m. After half an hour, still no food, so a waitress came by and said it would take another fifteen minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes, we still had nothing. We just had simple pancakes, two chicken satays, and a 12-hour meal. We went elsewhere for dinner.

Disinterested, worthless waitresses who bring an incomplete order. A 10-minute wait for a drink and who knows how long for the food. This isn't worth your money.

Only children working. Trained restaurant staff costs money. No one has a good eye for who wants what and when. Unfortunately, the order didn't come through.

Nice place with a lovely terrace

Unfortunately, I can't give 0 stars. I ordered a very simple sandwich, and after 45 minutes they offered a drink because it can take so long. According to the waitress, I should just skip lunch. Very bad. Once and never again.

Extremely poor service! Had lunch with an omelet. It turned out there was a very long black hair stuck in the omelet, right through the egg yolk. I removed it, and there was half the yolk stuck to it. I confronted the waiter about it. He said he would pass it on to his colleagues, but there was no response. I lost my appetite and left half the omelet. I reported it again when I paid. It wasn't known. All we heard was "sorry again" and "unfortunately, it happens." No discount or anything, just having to pay the full price. We used to come here regularly, but from now on, NEVER again!

Yesterday lunch my husband had an omelette that was cold and I had a healthy sandwich that I couldn't eat so dry no butter or any kind of sauce ham that was completely pale. the waiter had already been all over Terschelling because he didn't know who it was for. Wasn't asked does it taste good. So never again here what a bad lunch

Have lunch outside very regularly, both for a day out and because I just find it nice. I always combine that with a walk (before and after) in that area. I often choose Plein 10, located on the Koopmansplein, in the heart of Assen, for the '12 o'clock'. Reason... it's always packed here... so it must be good?! Super conveniently located in terms of the position of the sun and the liveliness on and around the Koopmansplein. On the side of the building there is a narrow covered terrace (gallery-like), because of the overhanging residential buildings above it. Also a large terrace that 'protrudes' onto the Koopmansplein and is very popular on nice days. Inside, the base is industrial, but atmospherically supplemented. Everything clean and tidy. The service is smooth, correct and fast. The menu has a wide choice. The food is fresh and good and feels like value for money. No unnecessary frills. In short, a pleasant introduction. Ed Jansen

If you sit alone on the terrace, you are quickly overlooked. Happened a few times…. I'll look elsewhere!

Had a delicious Caesar salad and tried all the chai lattes😊. Unfortunately, our kitchen receipt had disappeared in the kitchen, so we waited about 40 minutes. If we had not asked, we would not have had any food. After reporting it, it was quickly resolved and two drinks were taken from our bill. Otherwise it would have been five stars. Price/quality is good and you get more than enough, for me it was even too much, even though I can always eat it. Recommended: Caesar salad and chai lattes

Voor de zoveelste keer is er iets. 3 x drinken besteld en eten. 1 drabkje kwam en een thee zonder theedoos en het andere drankje kwam niet. Wat gezegd,werd geregeld. Na 50 min nog geen drinken en eten. Naar binnen gegaan om 1 drankje te betalen en alles uitgelegd. Keek ons aan zei wat het drankje kost verder niks. Nog geen sorry of had niet mogen gebeuren. En dit is niet de eerste keer dat het hier zo gaat. Normaal heeft de bediening een wijk maar iedereen liep door en ze doen maar wat. Geen oog voor de gasten! Naast ons kreeg thee haar heen. Ook geen sorry zou nieuwe thee komen en ze had ook niks gekregen zijn ook boos weggegaan. Pesoneel is gewoon niet vriendelijk en worden niet goed opgeleid. De prijzen zijn omhoog gegaan, overal natuurlijk maar voor deze vreetschuur is het gewoon te hoog!! Geen kwaliteit, slechte service, onvriendelijk personeel. Voor ons nooit meer Plein 10🤮

It is a wonderful restaurant for a quick lunch. The drink had been forgotten for a while, but no problem, it arrived immediately when we indicated it.

Unfortunately no vegan options, nor vegan milk for coffee (a small effort I think). It also always takes a long time for the staff to notice you.

Always busy and a nice atmosphere, the staff is very nice and I would definitely recommend it to others to have a nice lunch here.

Friendly service. Food is ok. About everything you can easily make at home in no time. Price-quality ratio is therefore somewhat disappointing. For 2 ham/cheese sandwiches and 1 simple salad (mixed salad with three slices of carpaccio, some dressing, a few flakes of parmesan cheese and capers), 1 fristi and 2 coffees, it costs €37.50. Not what I expected for that money.

Food was a bit tough. Something vegetarian with a mountain of French fries. Nicely decorated place and very friendly waiter.

3rd time this week here, always a great place to have lunch and or coffee with apple pie. Love the simple and tasty 12 hour, and their apple pie with whipped cream (apple pie with whipped cream) is yummy. Today a meatball with a roll and some mayo, and a Ruby grapefruit lemonade. Staff are very quick, professional, and friendly. Highly recommended. Very cozy!

How terrible, we had been sitting on the terrace for a while and were not helped then an employee passed by with a customer and was placed at a table next to us (probably an acquaintance of his) immediately the order was taken and our table walked past, no greeting nothing of the sort, then 4 different staff members walked past us but we were not helped, nor did we tell them, I'll get to it shortly, nothing at all, when new guests sat diagonally across from us and were helped almost immediately, the size was full and his We left, so we will never come here again, a shame about a missed opportunity

We came here because of the advertising we saw that this was a child-friendly place. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed after our visit. The service was a disaster, a very long wait and during the wait never even kept up to date as to why it continued to take. We have seen people come in, get food and pay before we could even take a bite. We felt like a forgotten piece of trash, unwanted. Extremely unpleasant. Furthermore, the food was not worth much. Their "specialty" seemed to be thrown into the plate from a distance. The bread was tough. But because I have eaten worse before, I still give it 3 stars. The atmosphere, what you could call atmosphere, was mainly very noisy, now that you expect something like that when you go to a place that is recommended for going with children, but here there was a negative atmosphere. Other tables were also dissatisfied and showed this. It would be a shame to avoid it, perhaps things went wrong there because of temporary workers and a very busy moment. But I won't give them another chance.

Nice restaurant. If you pay a little more attention to the customer, the service will discover that something has not been served. Waiting 45 minutes for an apple straw while the rest arrived in 15 minutes is really not possible.

I had chicken skewers, but it's a pity that the chicken was a bit rubbery and not really fresh but rather cheap wholesale quality.

Food of very low standard and not tasty. Waitresses were pleasant but food took a long time to arrive and one item not what ordered. We kept that dish as had waited so long. Expensive for what it was. Waitress asked if all ok and we said no as had not enjoyed it. She just shrugged and took full payment.

Ordered cappuccino and mint tea. "Would you like honey with it?: I said yes, simply because mint tea, wherever I order it, includes it. At checkout I had to pay 70 cents for the honey, When I mentioned this, the owner said that the honey is a "topping", just like whipped cream. Then I should have read this on the map, that's what it came down to. Strange, I wonder how long it takes before a bag of sugar becomes part of the "toppings". ! And you also have to pay for sugar.

Misleiding. Het lunchcafé had een plate weer op de menukaart gezet. Een plate is een volledige maaltijd op een bord. In tegenstelling tot vroeger moest ik nu € 3,10 voor de frites extra betalen. Hier kom ik niet weer.

Deception. The plate was already more expensive than, say, more than six months ago. No problem. But for the fries, which are simply part of a plate meal, I now suddenly had to pay extra, price € 3.20 extra. An increase on this meal of about 30 percent! And that in a busy business. I won't be coming back to this case again.

Delicious lunch in a great location on the large square in the center of Assen. Service is excellent and the sandwiches are generously filled. And ideal when it comes to paying. You can simply scan the voucher via a QR code. Very handy. Recommended!

Had soft serve ice cream many times this summer. Always super tasty. Also bought a soft ice cream today, Saturday October 7. Better not do this today. Very watery, bad taste and the ice cream cone very tough and soft. The ice cream was also poorly presented. At least half of the ice was hanging next to the horn. The aftertaste was very unpleasant on the stomach. Very unfortunate, hope to have a good ice cream at square 10 next time.

Never again. I ordered flatbread and the cheese had beard hair in it. After reporting, I received a new one and again there was a beard hair on top. Went back, indicated that there was a hair in it again and said that I didn't want any more food. There was no apology and when we left they looked away and didn't say goodbye.

Great place to have lunch after going shopping, would recommend getting a burger if you are hungry. The sandwiches are also very filling and have a really great size, if you like carpaccio they've got a great carpaccio sandwich.

Cozy tent, nice staff. Good food at a good price. Maybe empty the trash in the toilets a little more often, they were too full. All the booklets ended up on the floor, which is a real shame and unnecessary.

Tuna sandwich on the mediocre side in terms of taste, it was too dry for my taste. Great tasting sandwich. Paying via QR code is convenient and above all practical.

Enjoy a glass of wine outside in the sun before the Koopmansplein renovation. Yesterday we sat inside because of the weather: enough staff, but that is the only positive. Laundry basket on the table, door to the office wide open, table by the door was not a good choice, broken furniture, this added to the rain and the disappointing food: SAD!

30 degrees full sun, several people ask if the parasols that are there can be taken out. No, we don't do that because we think it's a shame when the sun shines. Schnitzels suddenly disappeared from the menu, by far the best dish they had had on the menu for years. For us there is every reason that this was our last visit. Very unfortunate.

I had planned a nice morning with this little man, but there were so many children in the library that he found it too stressful. So we decided to play at the merchant's square and have something tasty for lunch. Upon entering, an employee pointed out this fantastic play corner at the back. There he could cook for himself without bothering other people and mom could drink coffee in peace. When the poffertjes arrived, he enjoyed it.
