Cozy. Nice atmosphere. Delicious apple pie.

Long wait, but then you get delicious food in return. But in the future we will have lunch somewhere else.

06-01-02024 New owner. Went for dinner for the third time now, but without success. Different name and completely different. Vegetarians shouldn't go there. Far too little choice. The Italian bun is ridiculous. A dry side without brie that's useless, and a filled side where you'd expect a whole walnut. The whole thing is sticky, and that's the only reason you know there's honey on it. The plate is nicely presented but makes a lonely impression. And all that for €11.90. A direct profit for "Bij Tijn" then. I think it's truly scandalous. My wife reported it, and they said they would do something about it. Otherwise, the atmosphere is very good and cozy, and everything else looks good! Vegetarian or not, the sandwich is a rip-off and definitely not worth it. I won't be going back. The tap is gone, and you get bottled beer. I was trying to request it, but that's not happening (apparently). For me this is also a No Go

Just opened. Many customers with too little space. They did their best, but there was somewhat too little staffing. The beautiful weather surprised everyone. Good luck in the near future

Coffee outside on the terrace, the website states that it is open until 5.30 pm. Almost all tables outside had already been cleared, coffee was drunk standing up and we were asked to pay inside. It was 4:30 PM. It was quiet according to employee, so they closed.

Sitting on the terrace, rude service, greeting asking if we had moved the table? It turned out that there was a film underneath and now the table was wobbling...sorry, maybe I did that unconsciously, yes. Neighbor asked about the duration, staff was rude again, you're not the only one here, can you see how busy it is? (There were empty tables) We left toast and bitterballen (you paid for what you were allowed to do inside the queue) and it was really not tasty. We'll continue walking next time

Not what I expected from a twelve hour session. Certainly not in relation to the price.

The food was ready quickly. Due to an allergy we asked for an adjustment, which was not difficult. It was even thought about. We had fresh mint tea and fresh ginger tea. For lunch we had goat cheese toastie and brown bread (thick slices) with salmon. There was some raw vegetables and potato salad. The staff was clearly busy because it was quite busy inside, but there were also customers outside. Yet they remained friendly 👍

This place was recommended to me, but unfortunately it was worse than disappointing. No reception at the door, even though there were many staff walking around. Afterwards the choice was minimal. Opted for the croquettes on bread. You pay 9.75 for that, while 2 sandwiches with croquette (which were still half cold) and a measly scoop of egg salad are thrown onto the plate without any nice presentation while you pay for it. Never having lunch at 0318 again for me.

Na de gebruikelijke Corona vragen én nu vraagt een prachtige jonge dame mijn telefoonnummer hebben wij een heerlijke tosti gegeten en genoten wij van een goed gezette koffie verkeerd, niet teveel melk, exact genoeg. Ohja frisse vriendelijk personeel, echt een aanrader voor een lunch!

We sat close to the outside door, very cold, drafty and the door stuck when every guest entered. Apparently the staff had had it completely, they spoke with a high-pitched voice and too quickly for comprehensible communication, which showed that their energy was at 0 level.

Really good lunch and fast, friendly service. We had the chicken with peppers and bean sprouts on a bun with satay sauce and that is worth recommending. If we ever visit Veenendaal again, we will definitely come here again for lunch and try something new.

Whenever we go shopping in Veenendaal we always eat here and it remains delicious

Good food, wide choice and decent portions. I think the interior design looks a bit like a snack bar, but other than that it's fine. The terrace is always very nice to sit when the weather permits. And the staff is friendly!

Attentive and smooth service. Food was fine, nothing wrong with it. The interior of the tent is a bit unusual in style, but nothing to bother you. Great to while away 12 hours with some coffee.

Good food, but not special. Home food. The bread is over 1.5cm thick. By not cutting the hard crust. And the salad, a lot of it. I sat in a spot near the children's corner/checkout line that caused everyone to bump into my chair. I just haven't gotten any bags on my neck yet. They can easily adjust the setting of the tables/chairs, so this is not necessary. Staff work very hard. But asking 6 times if it is tasty is a bit too much.

Nothing special. On a sunny Saturday we had to wait more than 30 if not 40 minutes for a carpaccio sandwich!!! When we asked, we were told to be patient because they were busy!
