The apple pie was delicious and fresh. I recommend it to everyone. The atmosphere was pleasant.

Had a really great brunch here while staying around De Pijp area in Amsterdam - fresh, simple options, all served up by super friendly, charming and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my “filet Americain” sandwich, and really wanted to try the home-made apple pie, but they had just sold the last piece and the next one was still being baked. I said I’d try to swing by again after 3pm, and they promised to save me a slice of the next pie. I was back at 330pm and the pie was absolutely worth the second trip…

My partner and I had lunch at this small restaurant and were delighted. The service was fast, and the staff very pleasant. They were attentive and accommodated our dietary restrictions without any problems. We recommend this place without hesitation.

We arrived and were completely ignored and then told very rudely and aggressively to take a seat.

Sure, the food is not going to be winning stars any time soon, being simple honest fare like plain rolls, soup or salad, but it is super fresh and tasty. The service so kind and attentive, fresh seasonal flowers on the tables, a cherry on top.

The sauce is really thin, which makes it a bit disappointing. On my sandwich, I only tasted meat and little to no sauce. The quality is simply good, but I missed the sauce. Also, the sides look large and empty, with little to no garnish. Despite the fact that if you don't care much for sauce, it's still delicious, 4/5.

Amazing! 🤩 personalized experience and local charm. Food was fantastic. So happy to support this institution of 40+ years. Will definitely be back when I visit Amsterdam again. Great service and kind owner.

We wanted a relaxed breakfast, which isn't always possible in Amsterdam. This loka was perfect! Not crowded, super friendly staff, simple & delicious food at fair prices. The omelet was my favorite! Super seasoned and freshly prepared! We'd go back anytime! :)

Nos encontramos con este lugar por casualidad y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho! El personal era muy acogedor y el menú tenía una gran elección. Sinceramente, ¡no sé la última vez que probamos jamón tan bueno! Teníamos el rollo de jamón caliente y la ensalada de almuerzo que era de ternera. ¡Ambos platos eran magníficos! Grandes sabores y si tuviera más tiempo me encantaría probar algunos de sus platos. Gran precio, gran lugar local y una necesidad si estás en la zona.

Hannibal is one of those things that should stay in town forever. Just delicious sandwiches, omelets and pancakes. Top with a churned gravy and your day is complete.

I usually don't write reviews because it's a hassle, but today was a special and good experience, so I'm writing it to remember it. It was so cold after visiting the market, so I went in without thinking, but the atmosphere was nice and friendly, and the coffee was delicious. If I come to Amsterdam again, I will definitely go there, so I hope they stay open for a long time 🥰

El café era súper fuerte y sabroso, y luego tomé un poco de pastel de manzana, así como se veía tan bien! Mi esposa tiene un sándwich tostado que también era genial. The smoked salmon was exquisite. The salmon was thinly sliced and it was tasty without the saltines and string fishy smell. The healthy vegetables that accompanied it was just right. It was a healthy andneat breakfast order. The bacon was not salty and greasy. The egg was done perfectly. This is a great place for breakfast.

Happy proprietors make all the difference! So nice and relaxed, great food. I dined here twice on my most recent visit to this wonderful city community of free people in De Pijp. I observed a collection of locals and market shoppers / tourists while here - the second time on a rainy day I was the only sit-down customer, although several locals dropped in for takeaway. The proprietors happily greeted all, chatting away in Dutch and English, all making for a lovely ambiance.

The food was excellent and not super pricey. I must say we got pleasantly greeted by all the staff members. It puts a smile on your face. The service was excellent!

Altijd goede service en lekker eten. Leuk personeel, iedereen kent elkaar en de gasten. Geen poespas maar gewoon degelijk A’dams. Van pannenkoeken tot gebakken eitje maar ook een lekker broodje ossenworst of stukkie appeltaart. Af en toe specials en verse jus!

Hier kun je nog een normaal broodje bestellen... geen poespas! Ik had een tosti en die was prima!
