Bar Restaurant 1900 in Middenmeer

We had a delicious meal; nice atmosphere, friendly service, but one minor point of criticism: I find €7 for a children's ice cream completely exorbitant! We paid a total of €21 for three children's ice creams (a scoop of ice cream with a bit of whipped cream that, according to my son, tastes like nothing); that's just not right!

Wonderful experience. I cannot express how impressed I was with our food. High quality. Staff was also so kind and gave great drink recommendations. CANNOT wait to go back.

Too bad, it used to be such a nice neighborhood pub run by families and with good prices. And it's where I met my ex-girlfriend in 2012. These days it's more of a yuppie joint with a lot of "pink"... I don't go there anymore, although the service wasn't that bad.

Amazing location, a quite street corner. With very good cuisine, steak was amazing. As was the staff.

Fantastic restaurant, delicious snacks. You can't always throw a 6, but at 1900 we always do! We even make the garlands!

We ended up there last minute. It exceeded our expectations. The service and food were excellent. We had the steak tartare and the tuna, among other things. For dessert, we had the cheesecake. Excellent.

Had a drink at Café 1900 today. While the terrace and overall vibe are nice, the service was disappointing. After ordering five drinks with friends and some food, I asked for a glass of tap water and was told I couldn’t have any unless I ordered another drink. I was there with a baby... It’s a shame, because the setting is nice, but that kind of attitude completely ruined the experience

On a nice summer evening you decide to go to a local tent again. Ordered two IJwit from tap, one delivered by the clerk with the comment, the other will come and change tap later! Full of surprise and discomfort, it took a very long time for the second beer to arrive. Naturally, a comment was made about this fact. In short, an explanation to the other clerk about the fact that I would like to toast and have something to celebrate. Comment, tap change, toast and walk away... That was literally the feedback, what terrible service and NO attention to the guests. In short, pay and leave, what a nasty experience!!! Advice guest is king, what do you do with one beer in company. Hey 1900 improve your service and appreciate your guests!!!

It's very pretty and I'm satisfied. The food is very delicious and the staff is friendly. But I think I need to make a reservation. There were no seats, so the manager took one for me. Other than that it's good. The cheesecake had a texture I had never tasted before in Korea. it is delicious!

Since it was Sunday morning, not long after noon, there was not much crowd. You get to enjoy your food and yourself at the same time which is a win-win for me. We ordered lunch and it was finger-licking good, the only reason why I gave it 4 stars (tbh I wanted 4.5 but idk how 🤷‍♀️) is because the utensils were not sharp enough to cut through my toast and I was struggling with that overall experience. Other than that I'd recommend it to people who want good vibes and good food. Keep up the good work!

Cozy place, with very good chefs in the kitchen. Definitely recommended to sit down once. I really like the cheesecake and margaritha here.

We moved to Amsterdam a few weeks ago and this was the first place where we went out for dinner. Was a nice place and the food was great. We ordered the healthy kapsalon, gambas and rib eye. The sauce for the rib eye is great and my favorite because of that. My girlfriend liked the kapsalon the most. I highly advise to visit this spot but make sure to make a reservation!

Bar Restaurant 1900 Friendly staff and fast service. Nice spot in Watergraafsmeer. Has a fairly large terrace. Suitable for lunch and dinner, it has an extensive menu. I can recommend this cafe.

Absolutely fantastic food, service and location! The food is so delicious, i ordered the sandwich and truffle soup, the flavors were bursting! It really warms my heart and stomach. Highly recommend, especially for families. There’s also a small park and water fountain close to the restaurant ♥️

Favorite place in the neighborhood! Lovely little card. Terrace is fantastically located in the sun. In the summer it is wonderful here until sunset.

Fantastic atmosphere. Healthy kapsalon was amazing, as was the lobster bisque. A delightful surprise when ordering the duck breast to find it cooked 2 ways (stewed and pan baked). Service was fantastic and price very reasonable.

Had a lovely lunch here. The sandwiches in this place are delicious, nice and fresh. The service is attentive and friendly. They also have homemade ice tea, which I also liked.

Lovely Restaurant with great food. Been there twice, first time was a not so nice waitress, but the young gentlemen from today was great… Even gave us some tourism tipps! Can remcommend!

Fijn restaurant, kleinschalige gezellige sfeer. Goed eten. Krokante friet. Heerlijke combi van eendenborst en draadjesvlees. Tafelgenoten waren enthousiast over de healthy kapsalon.

Exquisite lunch spot with unexpected delicious foods. We came in unassumingly without knowing or reading anything prior, and is pleasantly surprised how tasty the foods are. The service is also classy and friendly without it ever being too much. Really love to sit and eat there again when it’s good weather, enjoying the slow Amsterdam life.

Had lovely snacks, coffee drinks, during our family reunion and luckily outside in a nice Amsterdam neighborhood just outside the hustle and bustle from the main centre. Authentic Amsterdam. Loved it

Gisteravond heb ik mijn verjaardag gevierd beneden in een aparte maar gezellige ruimte ! We waren met 14 personen aan een lange tafel. We konden uit 3 gangen kiezen, Vlees,vis of vegetarisch. Het was allemaal even lekker en zag er ook nog mooi uit. Ook het personeel is allemaal even lief en je komt niets tekort. Ik heb zo genoten gisteravond van t heerlijke eten en de fyne sfeer! Perfect place in a cozy neighborhood. We had a great time, the food was delicious. I had the rood zeebas. I totally recommend this dish. The service was excellent and the atmosphere as well.

Mooi terras, lekker eten, vriendelijk personeel. Maar je kunt maar een fles kraanwater krijgen, daarna moet je voor je water betalen. Dat is logisch als je verder niets neemt, maar niet als je gewoon andere drankjes blijft bestellen. Een dikke min op dat punt, jammer.

Gezellige plek om een drankje te doen/iets te eten. Hele aardige bediening en goeie sfeer.

De bediening altijd super aardig en zorgen voor een warm welkom. De healthy kapsalon en tiramisu waren verrukkelijk en echte aanraders! Ik ben hier inmiddels een vaste klant geworden, omdat de lunch en het avondeten altijd fantastisch zijn.

Prima zaak, alleen enkele drankjes genoten op het terras en dat was prima.

Omdat we in e buurt logeerden dit restaurant bezocht. Kaart zag er leuk uit en er stonden vegetarische opties op. Bij binnenkomst voelden we ons al welkom. Vriendelijke bediening, schone tafel, leuk zicht op de open keuken. De wijn is heerlijk , ook redelijk veel keuze. Als voorgerecht het flatbread, met overheerlijke baba ganoush. De eerste punten waren al gescoord! Als hoofdgerecht de couscoussalade. Behoorlijke hoeveelheid en zo heerlijk aangemaakt, dus ook helemaal opgegeten. Helaas geen plek meer voor een dessert. Als ik ooit weer eettentje zoek in Amsterdam, ik weet waar ik moet zijn om te genieten.

Fijne zaak met goede koffie. Heb alleen appeltaart met cappuccino gehad, maar de rest van de kaart ziet er erg leuk uit. Vooral hele ruime keuze voor vegetariërs!!!

Tosti met spiegelei! Heerlijk Frans bistro gerechtje, met een perfecte asperge soep erbij maakt het een heerlijk momentje op de stoep bij de fontein in Watergraafsmeer 😎

Altijd lekker om wat te bestellen bij Bar Restaurant 1900 nu we er niet mogen komen. Pasta met stoofvlees, de salades en de desserts. Heerlijk. Kunnen we thuis toch een beetje genieten, maar liever komen we gezellig daar om een gezellige avond te hebben.

Prima restaurant, gemoedelijke sfeer en prettig restaurant, zonder personeel die weinig in je geïnteresseerd is, zoals zo vaak in Nederland. Mooie smakelijke gerechten voor een mooie prijs

Drukbezocht en gezellig buurtrestaurant. Verwacht hier geen culinaire verrassingen: op de kaart staan eenvoudige gerechten, die verder prima zijn uitgevoerd. Plusjes voor het gratis kraanwater en de lieve jonge bediening. In de zomer is het heerlijk zitten op het terras met zicht op de Hogeweg-fontein.

Een fantastisch restaurant in het mooie en gezellige Amsterdam Oost. Een héérlijk menu op de kaart. Wij hadden de Beef Tataki , Tonijn Cornett als voorgerecht. Hoofd: Steak en Vegaburger en als dessert de witte chocolade Eton mess. Dikke aanrader ! Restaurant en Bar 1900 in Amsterdam ademt een warme sfeer. De ontvangst in dit pand is gastvrij. De gerechten die er uit de keuken komen zijn mooi en bijzonder verzorgd.
