A wonderful experience at Bunk for a delicious, generous brunch at a very affordable price for Amsterdam! Located in a converted church, Bunk is a sure bet for a lovely breakfast.

On my last evening in Amsterdam I had dinner at the Bunk Restaurant. The food and beverages were superb, although the portions of the main dishes are on the smaller side. Bea and her colleges were very friendly and attentive; we had a nice chat about our time as students and the city in general. Very comfortable vibe

The food was very good, but they should improve their service.

Look out for the appelpie. Swampy crust. Whipped cream from a can. The service in the restaurant was terrible. I've never had so little success getting the waitstaff's attention.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bunk Restaurant Amsterdam, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant is modern and stylish, with a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The menu is creative and diverse, offering a great mix of seasonal and locally sourced dishes. I tried a few appetizers and the main course, and everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The combination of textures and tastes was impressive, showing real attention to detail from the kitchen. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. They guided us through the menu, explained the specials, and made excellent wine pairing suggestions. The service added a lot to the overall dining experience.

A wonderful welcome with a personalized message: that was a lovely touch! The decor was beautiful (the photo was taken at night; it's even more beautiful in real life 😊). We had a delicious meal. I highly recommend it!

I can't really rate the food as I never got any. Was seated but then ignored for 30 minutes,so I decided to just leave, don't think I'll come back here even though the food on the menu sounded nice

We had a delicious dinner. The restaurant was quite full upon arrival, and we were seated at a long table. There seemed to be little order in terms of seating arrangements. It was also quite cold in the restaurant. Fortunately, the food was delicious. Definitely try the margarita. We also wanted to have breakfast there in the morning, but the restaurant was packed. We were seated at the bar, but after waiting 30 minutes to place our order, we left for a nearby coffee shop. Again, there seemed to be little order in the seating arrangements. The breakfast from the open kitchen, however, seemed very tasty.

My husband and I had the pumpkin gnocchi and the cod: both really delicious

A beautiful, nicely decorated place, the food was good but the service was terrible. Half of the guests had to wait for their main courses to arrive, while the others had already finished eating. When we ordered dessert, we were told that the kitchen was closed and that no more orders could be taken, even though it was only 10 p.m. (closing time is midnight!!!) and, above all, no one had warned us. We couldn't even have coffee “because the machine was closed”!!! Finally, splitting the bill was forbidden and stated rudely and without any apology. We left angry and I strongly advise against going there.

After a very good experience a year ago, what a disappointment! The setting was original and the food wasn't bad, but the plates came out of the dishwasher and the glasses weren't dried. We waited for our food only to be told, without being told, that there was no more dessert or coffee (machine stopped??). Finally (this is the first time I've seen this!) it was impossible to pay separately because the machine couldn't do it. In short, bad faith, a haughty and unpleasant manager. This is the first time I've gotten angry in a restaurant, but this behavior is unacceptable.

My wife and I had dinner at the Bunk Restaurant Amsterdam today (27/09/25). We normally skip starters eat and dessert otherwise we get over full We did the same today and the main course we had Pumpkin Gnocchi and Pork Belly and for Dessert we had Tarte Tatin The main course and dessert were very delicious…. My only observation is that the mains were quite small and in hindsight I would have ordered starters…… no major issue though Recommended for dinner

A really nice place, with a youthful atmosphere and beautiful architecture. I ordered a dessert, which was carefully prepared, but a bit pricey. The flavors were just okay. Nothing special, maybe just not my taste, but it was tasty and a large portion. The staff was very friendly.

The place looks beautiful, but unfortunately we did not feel welcome at all. We asked for a table for two to enjoy some drinks, but they assumed we were going to have dinner. When the waiter asked what we would order, we said we were fine just with drinks for the moment. His response was: “Remember that I only gave you the table because you were going to dine, not just have drinks. If you’re not going to eat, I have the right to ask you to move when someone who wants to dine arrives.” We never said we were there for dinner! Don’t hold us responsible for your assumptions. Only five minutes later, he came back and asked again: “So, are you going to eat something or not?” At that point, we decided to leave. Although they offered the drinks on the house because of the situation, it honestly didn’t make up for the unpleasant experience. We felt pressured and practically pushed out. Next time, simply ask your guests whether they’re here for dinner or just for drinks. I wouldn’t return to this place—not even if they paid me.

Wow. I had the eggs Benedict and it was amazing. Great selection too. A lot of options. So so good.

Tasty food – both burgers and other main dishes, including fish. A wider selection of snacks was missing. Fancy lemonades in various flavors. Friendly staff.

The BEST you will find. The design is amazing, the staff is super nice, the rooms are cozy and comfortable for couples that have no secrets (the bathroom is kind of transparent). The location is the best ever. You have the metro at a 5-minute walking distance, a free ferry at a 15-minute walking distance and both take you to the center in 6 minutes. PERFECT I will definitely return!

Excellent and refined restaurant, with attention to every detail. Portions are modest. Careful and sensitive to "healthy" ingredients. Suitable for vegetarians. Courteous and attentive staff. Very beautiful venue. We didn't stay there, but the attached hotel is wonderful, unique, and architecturally stunning. We were invited to tour it, and we were impressed by the roof and the rooms, which seem suspended rather than empty. Ask for a tour; it's worth it.

Honestamente, no he estado tan emocionada con un restaurante en años... (¡La mejor hamburguesa vegetariana que he probado en mis últimos 33 años como vegetariana!)

Very narrow rooms and poor ventilation. The reception staff are excellent and very helpful.

I was guest at the Hostel. The restaurant ist very nice and food ist excellent. You can spend the time untill it is time to go to sleep, just have a drink or food. I felt very well in here and would not mind coming back.

Great place with delicious food

We had dinner at Bunk for our team outing. Despite the large group, all courses arrived at the table at the same time, and everything was still nice and warm. The appetizers, in particular (the melanzane being the absolute highlight!), were excellent and served in generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was excellent and professional, and the tour we received in small groups through the unique building was a very nice addition. The decor of both the building and the restaurant is very special and atmospheric. Highly recommended!

The price-quality ratio is excellent. The professional service is excellent, too. I've noticed so many different types of people who simply enjoy their food. Me included:) 40 euros per person, including drinks.

Really good fresh and creative food but the service is disorganized and slow. I didn’t finish my appetizer so they didn’t give me my main until two separate people asked an hour later if I was ready for it...I was just sitting there waiting like an idiot. It still took them 20 minutes to bring it.

Realmente disfrutamos del servicio personalizado, los grandes consejos proporcionados por el personal de camareros y la calidad de la comida y el sabor. Pensamos que el tamaño de la porción de los ñoquis de calabaza es demasiado pequeño. Sin embargo, puedo recomendar el plato de vientre de cerdo! La ubicación es preciosa y realmente una joya escondida. Decidimos que la próxima vez, también vamos a probar el hotel para una estancia!

I’ve heard many times from friends who stayed at Bunk about how nice the place was, so this time we decided to try the restaurant for breakfast. We ordered Eggs Benedict—normally you can choose between ham, avocado, or salmon, but it’s also possible to combine avocado with either ham or salmon, which is what we did. You get two eggs on two separate brioche slices, with a smooth hollandaise sauce. They were good—I enjoyed them. We had one with salmon and avocado, another with ham and avocado, and the kids shared one with just ham. Cappuccino was nice too, good taste. The staff was super friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is really pleasant. Nicely decorated, cozy vibes. Prices were very fair as well—we spent around €50 for three Eggs Benedict and two cappuccinos. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Nice restaurant inside of the Bunk hotel, tasty food and nice staff. There’s not a lot of choice but it’s good. I really like the hamburger.

Reserved a table, showed up and they didn’t have any tables available. Had to ask for my drink to be brought over on 3 different occasions before it finally arrived. Food took well over an hour since we ordered to arrive. Was later informed it was taking a while because they were understaffed but would have been nice to know before coming. Steer clear!

Nice spot, friendly service, okay food. We had brunch here and tried a couple of dishes. The rendang sandwich was nice, but missed a bit of flavor. The pancakes were quite mediocre to be honest.

My daughter & wife both had the Aubergine hummus, which they found delicious. I ordered the vegetarian Bunk burger, I got more than I could eat 🤣🤣🤣. The burger was delicious. The atmosphere and surroundings were/are ambient. In my opinion, highly recommended I can describe this restaurant/hotel as a former church and a Salvation Army shelter.

De vez en cuando paramos en este lugar para disfrutar de un almuerzo o una cena. La comida nunca decepciona y siempre hay opciones vegetarianas. Esta vez los dos tuvimos los especiales diarios, una hamburguesa (una vegetariana ) con papas fritas junto con un entrante compartido. La factura rondaba los 50€ , - para dos personas y nos fuimos a casa muy satisfechos. El personal es siempre muy amable y realmente hacen un esfuerzo para que su experiencia sea buena.

The vegan options here were fantastic! The vegan bitterballs were super delicious and the vegan gnocchi was amazing - wish I had more time to eat here again! Such a great atmosphere also!

Away from the city center, this restaurant, although not so far away, captivated us. Hidden in a church, the whole thing has been completely renovated: it's warm, you feel like you're in a cocoon. The servers are top notch (🇫🇷👍🏻) and our dishes are excellent. I recommend 100%

BUNK in Amsterdam Noord is a gem! The value for money is excellent, with quality ingredients clearly taking center stage. Allereerst is heeft het restaurant een geweldige sfeer die je als een warme deken omhult. De prachtige ruimte met nog wat metselwerkbogen en pilaren van de kerk in het zicht, maar ook de zeer eigentijdse, sfeervolle en warme aankleding, met goede muziek op het juiste volume waarbij je goed kunt praten, de mooie sfeervolle verlichting, het prachtige kleurgebruik, de ruime zit. Maar ook de geweldige ober die zo vlot en attent bediende en reageerde; dat vind je niet meer zo vaak! Die volstrekt unieke menu's, met heerlijke smaken. En dat voor een alleszins redelijke prijs. Wij gaan hier zeker nog eens terugkomen!

There were just too few meat options for our group and the desserts (with, for example, popcorn ice cream or chia seeds) were not very popular. Quality food otherwise good, starters excellent. Service on the slow side, even when few tables were occupied. A special location indeed.

Very well decorated place, it is the ground floor of a church converted into a very trippy hotel, there is a dinosaur, a fox with a shotgun, a head with glowing balls and a covered terrace, there is also a hunting rabbit with a shotgun and a mysterious door.

The food is not bad but the service is terrible, they do not help you at all, and to make matters worse, they bring you the bill with the dataphone and they give you a 5% tip and they tell you that the dataphone is bad and they bring the bill to you not including that tip. I have felt scammed, I would not return nor recommend it.

I have felt cheated! They charged me a tip without telling me anything and it is not reflected on the ticket! Don't go, it's not worth it

Nicely decorated place. We had lunch there. High oat milk and kinoa content. The menu did not really appeal to us. The table by the window was cold with a lot of draught. Nice to see once, but not worth repeating.

We stayed here for 2 nights. They also have bar & restaurant. This place is good for a short stay. You don't have to go anywhere to grab food/drinks, just go downstairs. Nice building though!
