Go to Jottum and do yourself a favor; shake Denis's hand and he will give you the most tender and flavorful tenderloin you have ever tasted. No, I'm not exaggerating, it is simply true. Alright. I think you need to experience this yourself. Pretty much everything is amazing. The meat is delightful. We don't need to make Jottum great again. Because it already is.

You absolutely must try the lamb chops! There's no gamey smell at all. The meat is perfectly prepared—tender and not tough at all. A restaurant I'd definitely visit again.

We had a delicious meal. Large portions of excellent quality tapas. The only downside is the rock-hard bench against the wall, which is not comfortable at all even with cushions. Friendly service and good value for money. We will definitely be back. And we did just that yesterday, April 18th. We brought two lovely friends along to celebrate one of their 70th birthdays. We got the cozy round table, had a delicious meal, and as the icing on the cake, Job was showered with praise and the whole place sang to him! Thanks and see you next time.

Great quality food, recommended! Came a little out of the way to find this with the family but very glad we did. Had some cold then hot tapas - all really good quality, loved the iberico ham and manchego. Highlights of the hot food were the chicken thighs and the patatas bravas but it all went down very nicely indeed. Mmm. Pudding menu is short but worth a big shout out, leave room for it. From the limoncello/cava/ice cream concoction through the creme catalana to one of my favourite cheesecakes EVER, all amazing. And really good value, had a couple of delicious beers and still only 30 euro per head for three courses.

I keep coming back here. It’s one of the very very few centrally located spots that manages to stay affordable while offering a warm atmosphere and genuinely tasty food. Perfect for gatherings with friends or a relaxed family meal.

Too good to be true. All those rave reviews, but... we ate with our partner yesterday and... it was delicious. Peppers and shrimp as a starter, followed by a generous helping of tenderloin and chops. I've rarely eaten such a beautiful piece of meat medium rare. Classy, ​​and the generous lamb chops in front of them made the chairs turn. Damn. We'll be back.

We were a party of 7 with no reservation. It was such an amazing experience. The owner recommended we go for a tasting menu which was ideal. The meal was perfectly curated for us. Everything we ate and drank was superb. The hospitality and service was exceptional. Unfortunately we have no pictures as we were too excited each time the food was placed in front of us. Haven't had a meal like it a very long time. The best food during our trip to amsterdam and the best meal I have eaten in a restaurant in a very long time. Amazing food, delicious wine, cozy atmosphere and fantastic service. 5 stars.

A Spanish atmosphere prevails at Jottum restaurant in the Jordaan district. The owner takes our coats upon arrival, a characteristic of the welcoming atmosphere in this restaurant in the heart of the Jordaan. A sophisticated menu with typical Spanish tapas tantalizingly invites us to explore. We weren't disappointed: tenderloin, rosefish fillet, oysters, prawns, and for my partner, the chops. I chose the tenderloin, so tender and rosé that Jottum's comparison with Loetje is in its favor. Incidentally, with the perfectly seasoned chops (four generous servings), my partner exclaimed, "Oh, so good, delicious, we'll be back!" Also worth mentioning is the generously poured red wine at the perfect temperature. Lovely atmosphere, great host, and delicious food. Jottum, we'll be back.

Was the best place in all our journey. We were before in Spain,Italy,Switzerland,Germany. And this resturant blew my mind. My husband and I had to try with 7 different dishes, because any of them were amazing, how they looked and tasted, really, I felt I was in front of the beauty of art. Desert were incredible too, and honesty,prices were fair. I know I never going to find it something like that again. Waiter was so kind too, thank you so much for the experience, sorry I couldn't take pictures,I couldn't wait to taste it all.

El personal era amable y conocedor, la comida era deliciosa (especialmente el bistec y los camarones) y había una amplia variedad de opciones sin gluten, algo con lo que habíamos tenido problemas en otras partes de la ciudad. Av en slump hittade vi detta ställe. Perfekt…för man är väl alltid sugen på tappas. Trevlig servitör, bra priser, god väldigt god sangria och fantastisk tonfisk och möra lammracks. Rekommenderar absolut alla att äta på Jottum.

Teníamos muchas ganas de tapas, y este restaurante vino recomendado en yelp. Lamentablemente, no estuvo a la altura de nuestras expectativas, principalmente porque el servicio era tan horrible. Nuestra camarera nos recomendó 8 platos para los dos, haciendo un gran negocio de cómo las tapas deben ser una progresión de platos fríos a calientes. Y luego aparentemente puso el orden en todos al mismo tiempo, así que en el espacio de cinco minutos, los 8 platos llegaron! Apenas cabían en nuestra pequeña mesa, terminamos teniendo que mantener nuestras bebidas todo el tiempo para hacer espacio, luego intentamos comer con una mano. First time to Jottum Spanish food with a different twist. Delicious mussels, lamb chops, super tender and wonderfully prepared, nice wine, the duck leg was heavenly, the squid rings were good and tender, not too much batter, crème de Catalan, we could just order it without ice. Carajillo coffee with liqueur is not on the menu, but it was still delicious afterwards. I received a Cointreau con cello despite my poor pronunciation and which is also very special, no sifting, you are not rushed, I will become a regular customer

Dette er en tapas restaurant, noe vi var klar over på forhånd. Men i stedet for å mikse sammen flere forskjellige retter, valgte vi entrecote og lammekoteletter med stekte poteter og matchede sauser. Til middagen valgte vi viner som skulle passe til. Maten smakte fortreffelig, og vi ble egentlig passe mette. Selvfølgelig burde vi valgt 4-5 forskjellige ting, men vi var veldig fornøyde med det vi valgte. Koselig og passe stor restaurant med hyggelige verter. Anbefales.
