I've eaten at Jottum several times before, and this time it was delicious again! Time for a review. Jottum is highly recommended!! You receive a very warm welcome, the service is attentive and friendly, the food is incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I always make a reservation just to be sure. But you can also just walk in.

Was the best place in all our journey. We were before in Spain,Italy,Switzerland,Germany. And this resturant blew my mind. My husband and I had to try with 7 different dishes, because any of them were amazing, how they looked and tasted, really, I felt I was in front of the beauty of art. Desert were incredible too, and honesty,prices were fair. I know I never going to find it something like that again. Waiter was so kind too, thank you so much for the experience, sorry I couldn't take pictures,I couldn't wait to taste it all.

Estuvimos agradecidos de encontrarnos con un lugar con una mesa libre en una concurrida noche de viernes en el hermoso distrito de Jordaan y ¡no podríamos haber tenido más suerte! El personal era amable y conocedor, la comida era deliciosa (especialmente el bistec y los camarones) y había una amplia variedad de opciones sin gluten, algo con lo que habíamos tenido problemas en otras partes de la ciudad. El vino era delicioso y nunca nos sentimos apresurados. ¡Lo recomiendo totalmente!

High prices, especially for drinks. The food is just okay.

We had a wonderful meal with friends. We didn't choose from the menu, but left it up to the owner. Everything was truly delicious and of good quality. The young staff also made sure we left with a smile and will definitely return.

Av en slump hittade vi detta ställe. Perfekt…för man är väl alltid sugen på tappas. Trevlig servitör, bra priser, god väldigt god sangria och fantastisk tonfisk och möra lammracks. Rekommenderar absolut alla att äta på Jottum.

Teníamos muchas ganas de tapas, y este restaurante vino recomendado en yelp. Lamentablemente, no estuvo a la altura de nuestras expectativas, principalmente porque el servicio era tan horrible. Nuestra camarera nos recomendó 8 platos para los dos, haciendo un gran negocio de cómo las tapas deben ser una progresión de platos fríos a calientes. Y luego aparentemente puso el orden en todos al mismo tiempo, así que en el espacio de cinco minutos, los 8 platos llegaron! Apenas cabían en nuestra pequeña mesa, terminamos teniendo que mantener nuestras bebidas todo el tiempo para hacer espacio, luego intentamos comer con una mano. Cuando dije que estábamos un poco sorprendidos de que todo saliera de golpe, ella nos dijo que la comida salía cuando estaba lista. Lo dejé ir, pero obviamente esa es la razón por la que los servidores deben ingresar la comida en al menos dos platos. De todas formas, la comida en sí no estaba muy buena, la albondiga estaba mal cocida, los camarones sabían juguetones, y como alguien con un cuñado español que ha comido muchas tapas, esta fue la peor experiencia que he tenido. Además, una de las placas terminó volcando, derramando aceite sobre los zapatos de mi hijo y arruinándolos. Tan horrible y no puedo recomendar.

We ordered four tapas for two people, dessert, and some drinks, and spent about $70. The price/quality ratio was very reasonable. The waitresses were very friendly. We would definitely return.

Alright. I think you need to experience this yourself. Pretty much everything is amazing. The meat is delightful. We don't need to make Jottum great again. Because it already is.

Had a delicious meal at Jottum. We had the tapas chosen by the chef and the dishes were well tailored to our preferences. Everything was well taken care of and the service was decent with plenty of time between rounds. Recommended if you like Spanish tapas.

First time to Jottum Spanish food with a different twist. Delicious mussels, lamb chops, super tender and wonderfully prepared, nice wine, the duck leg was heavenly, the squid rings were good and tender, not too much batter, crème de Catalan, we could just order it without ice. Carajillo coffee with liqueur is not on the menu, but it was still delicious afterwards. I received a Cointreau con cello despite my poor pronunciation and which is also very special, no sifting, you are not rushed, I will become a regular customer

Dette er en tapas restaurant, noe vi var klar over på forhånd. Men i stedet for å mikse sammen flere forskjellige retter, valgte vi entrecote og lammekoteletter med stekte poteter og matchede sauser. Til middagen valgte vi viner som skulle passe til. Maten smakte fortreffelig, og vi ble egentlig passe mette. Selvfølgelig burde vi valgt 4-5 forskjellige ting, men vi var veldig fornøyde med det vi valgte. Koselig og passe stor restaurant med hyggelige verter. Anbefales.

Have eaten here twice now, the tenderloin and rack of lamb are fantastic! The service is nice and the wines are top notch. Recommended: tenderloin, rack of lamb, mushrooms, bread with alioli, bread with tomato salsa, chicken thigh and grilled zucchini. Really delicious food!

Very flat flavours and quite basic presentation for the dishes.. The tapas had nothing to do with the Spanish tapas. Same for the Pan con Catalan. The calamari were inedible (fast defrost?) and smelled like strange water. The lobster croquettes did not taste like lobster (frozen, ready to deep-fry croquettes with.. 1% lobster?). I guess that this place has such reviews due to its low -for the Dutch standards- prices. The waiters did not ask if we liked the dishes at any time, for obvious reasons :) Do not visit. There are much better places to eat nearby.
