Encontramos este lugar por accidente, yendo hacia Vondelpark. La ubicación era perfecta, hermosa vista del canal. Las mini tortitas estaban deliciosas - perfecto para un pequeño aperitivo! Pequeño café/restaurante encantador ☺️

Poffertjes are amazing, so is the service and environment :)

2025/5 Along the canal. Open terrace. Sweets and meal-like things. Not cheap but delicious. It's like pancakes instead of pizza dough.

A delightful stop in Amsterdam, The Pancake Club offers a warm welcome and delicious treats. We thoroughly enjoyed the lemon curd pancake, a perfect balance of sweet and tart. The plain pancake was also excellent – ask for butter on top :) The staff were really friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. It's a cozy spot for a tasty pancake fix with great service.

Since Jenny went there, there were quite a few Koreans there. I was satisfied, but I couldn't concentrate because I kept hearing Korean. It seems like it has become too touristy (for Koreans!) The taste and experience were worth a try.

Never had a "Dutch pancake" before, so my expectations were mixed. What I experienced was much better than I had imagined it would be. I had the ham and cheese pancake for 18 euros. Not cheap, but worth the price given the location. Under a centuries-old shadey maple tree about 12 feet away from the canal with ducklings paddling by, the experience was relaxing and peaceful. My breakfast partner had a banana and strawberry pancake and gushed about it! The portions were generous and the well-crafted latte finished breakfast properly. A good opening-time experience!

This is a cute little pancake place. I loved the all glass building next to the canal. Very friendly service. We got there when it opened and it did fill up fast. They do not take reservations.

Delicious pancakes! especially the ham & cheese, how divine. Carlo the poffertjes baker is very attentive and helpful! the atmosphere is great and good music! The Pancake Club is definitely worth it!! 10/10

Este lugar ha cambiado su nombre a The Pancake Club, pero parece servir lo mismo. Situado justo al lado del río y tiene asientos en el exterior bajo árboles en su mayoría sombreados. Estuvimos allí el día después del día de Reyes y fue una mañana encantadora. El tiempo era fresco, pero no frío y pudimos disfrutar de la agradable brisa y los barcos del canal que pasaban por allí. También pude conectarme a la WiFi desde el Casino al otro lado del río. Era débil, pero aún funcionaba. Estábamos sentados afuera y esperamos casi 10 minutos antes de que alguien viniera a tomar nuestra orden de comida y bebidas. Pedimos la crepe de plátano para compartir y tomé un café mientras mi esposa pedía el jugo de pera. El par de jugos proviene de una botella. El café fue servido en una taza pequeña y estaba bien. Estoy acostumbrado a beberlo con crema y edulcorante. Pero los europeos no tienen estos artículos, así que lo bebí con azúcar. Creo que esperamos casi 30 minutos antes de que nuestra comida saliera. Ahora, sólo pedimos crepes con plátanos dentro. Por lo general, en el centro comercial, se tarda unos minutos en hacer crepes. No sé cómo les tomó casi 30 minutos hacer un artículo. Eso sí, el lugar no estaba lleno cuando llegamos, así que no entiendo cuánto tiempo tuvimos que esperar a que nuestro servidor pidiera nuestra comida y por qué tardaron tanto en hacer nuestra comida. Una vez que finalmente salió, pensé que el crepé era bueno, pero no fuera de su mente fantástico. Es sólo básico. ¿Alguna vez volveré, probablemente no debido al tiempo de espera y la comida no era tan grande.

Worst experience ever, when I walked in around 11:30am, they told me the restaurant is closed due to the owner has a lot of pressure in the kitchen and they couldn’t handle any more new guests. Even though the restaurant is half empty and guests kept leaving. They said I was welcome to come back later and hopefully there will be service, when I asked when , they said not sure, because the instruction from boss didn’t mention it. We were not even allowed to wait at the table. We were so disappointed and we left as we really want to try it the food. So i do not recommend even going here , as they suck ar running restaurant business

Slow service, crepes arrived cold and the bill was very expensive for what was on top of the "pancake". Only the environment is beautiful

Unfortunately it was too full and therefore couldn't try the food. :(

Tuvimos un fantástico desayuno familiar en The Pancake Club durante nuestro viaje a Amsterdam. Las tortitas estaban absolutamente deliciosas, esponjosas, perfectamente cocinadas y con un montón de opciones dulces y saladas para elegir. El personal era cálido y acogedor, y el entorno tenía un ambiente relajado y acogedor que nos hizo sentir como en casa. A nuestros hijos les encantó, especialmente con la presentación divertida y porciones generosas. Es un gran lugar para las familias, y sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en la ciudad!

Great spot we visit every time we’re in Amsterdam.

I was there with my parents at the weekend, it wasn't particularly busy, but the waitress seemed quite overwhelmed and seated us at a table in the last corner of the restaurant. The pancakes (I had Oreo, with vanilla ice cream and cream, my parents had cheese with bacon) were very poorly topped and prepared without any love, the taste was similar to a ready-made mix from a supermarket and unfortunately the price was far too high for that. There was no beer, even though it was on the menu (the waitress couldn't explain why). We paid almost €60 for 2 pancakes and 3 drinks. In addition, the service was very slow despite there being a small number of people, and my colleagues also seemed very unmotivated to me. The only thing that made us happy was the great location, the rest was pretty bad...

Fuimos a almorzar (con la esperanza de ir a desayunar, pero no abren hasta las 10 am) y tuvimos nuestro primer panqueques holandeses. Estos crepes - como delicias eran maravillosos! Fui salado (tortita de queso con tomate y champiñones por encima como una pizza! ) y mi esposa fue dulce (plátano con Nutella) . También tuvimos un pequeño pedido (10 piezas) de poffertjes (todavía no estoy seguro de cómo pronunciarlo) con azúcar en polvo y mantequilla que estaban fuera de este mundo! Son como pequeñas almohadas hinchadas. Si solo tienes panqueques holandeses una vez durante tu visita, considera The Pancake Club. La ubicación es genial: justo al otro lado de la calle de Vondelpark y a pocos minutos de Rijksmuseum, Museo Van Gogh, y muchos paseos en barco por el canal.

The very popular pancake house is by the canal and was lovely if you get to sit outside. If you are stuck inside, it’s not bad either as you get to watch the pancake making if you are close to the cooking areas. The pancakes taste ok but not extraordinarily delicious. The choices of coffee are limited.

Service unfortunately sad. Solid food, pancakes as you know them. Upon request, pankoeken was also prepared gluten-free for us. You can sit outside and inside with a nice view of the canal.

Great place for breakfast or brunch. Their mini pancakes are great and would highly recommend trying them out.

The CUTEST little spot for an amazing pancake breakfast. Found myself here for breakfast both mornings that I was in AMS. The little poffertjes are delicious 😭 10/10 no notes! Tried the apple pancake on my 2nd morning and it was just as good! If you're in the area I would definitely recommend. Friendly staff, clean tables, and such a small cute vibe. I will be back next time I'm in AMS!

Update: came back 2 yrs later. It has become rly overpriced unfortunately (eg 3euros supp for onions, 3e supp for mushrooms). It’s good but not worth it imo Lovely pancake place with nice staff.

This place is a true gem ✨️ – the pancakes are absolutely delicious, melting in your mouth, and the coffee is something to savor long after the last sip. The cozy, atmospheric interior makes it perfect for slow mornings and relaxing afternoons

The Pancake Club is a small waterfront shop. You can sit both inside and outside although the seats outside are rather unpleasant as it is dirty all around. The poffertjes were tasty but rather expensive for what they ended up being. We paid 38 euros for 2 small drinks and 2 portions of Nutella because you had to order the toppings separately.

The food is good, but portions are too small for the price. Not worth it for a pancake. The place is nice, but the service is terrible.

We werden op het terras geplaatst naast een paar louche toeristen die de ene joint na de andere opstaken. Zelfs wanneer onze 3 jonge kinderen hun eten kregen, bleven ze gewoon verder doen. Het personeel meldde hen slechts bij betaling dat dit eigenlijk niet mocht. Wij wouden zo snel mogelijk weg van deze vergane glorie. De pannenkoeken zelf waren lekker, maar veel te duur (zelfs zonder tekening te houden met de weed geur).

Die Pancakes mit Erdbeeren waren lecker, der Rahm leider viel zu süss. Auch hatte es relativ wenig Erdbeeren auf dem Pancake. Ansonsten schöne Atmosphäre, man sieht auf die Gracht.

Delicious pancakes and poffertjes, very small but beautiful

Best breakfast in town! Crepe was baked to perfection in banana with fresh strawberries on top and crust at the end. The poffertjes melts in your mouth while their Italian coffee was very good/strong. What a beautiful setting inside the restaurant with a tree in the middle and the customer service was top notch, down from the chef. Such a happy place to be in 😍! Thank you for the experience, staff at The Pantry Club!

Very pleasant place to have a quiet breakfast in the center of Amsterdam. The service is friendly and smiley, which contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. The pancakes are on the pricey side but super tasty! Example: pancake with strawberries, banana and Nutella = €18.50, latte macchiato = €5. The room is also beautifully decorated with tables by the window. It creates a cozy atmosphere that comes into its own when the sun shines.

Very cozy place to have breakfast/brunch, especially when the sun is shining since you sit by the windows. Friendly staff, good crêpes (not pancakes as mentioned) and good coffee. A bit expensive but very tasty. If it's not too crowded I highly recommend. There's also an option for takeout.

Absolutely fantastic place to get a breakfast!

The food is tasty, but no raves. The coffee filter is like an American coffee filter, meaning the beans look like regular Brazil. The service is pleasant. It's fine to stop by if you're passing by, but you wouldn't drive here from another part of the city

Absolute recommendation. Nicely located, cozy café. Reasonably priced. Not many places so it can happen that you have to wait to get in.

Fui al club de panqueques mientras estaba de vacaciones con mi familia en Amsterdam. Una gran configuración en el interior permite un montón de espacio sin dejar de tener una buena cantidad de mesas en el interior. De la amplia variedad de tortitas las tortitas que elegimos estaban deliciosas. Sin duda recomendaría venir aquí si estás en Amsterdam.

Best pancakes I ever ate in my life loving it

Pancake was something that did not suit our taste, but the employees were really friendly and warm. But if you like trying local flavors, definitely go.

Llamamos aquí un domingo por la mañana una media hora después de abrir, la zona de estar ya estaba llena, así que tomamos asiento en el bar. Me avisaron que la cafetera no funcionaba así que pedí un café con filtro y un té para mi esposa. Decidimos compartir un plato de poffertjes con todos los adornos. Todo parece estar cocinado y presentado a la orden y el servicio es rápido sin prisas. La comida era deliciosa y la porción grande era más que suficiente para el desayuno con la crema, helado y fruta todo incluido. Como era una visita de invierno, los asientos exteriores no estaban disponibles, pero me imagino que en verano el espacio exterior tendría más mesas y sillas haciendo más espacio. Supongo que aquí se reduce a la sincronización, ya que unos 10 minutos después de que llegamos, algunos asientos y mesas quedaron disponibles, aunque sin duda se llenarían de nuevo en un corto espacio de tiempo. Bien vale la pena una visita si estás abajo por Vondelpark o Reiksmuseum, era nuestra segunda visita y era tan agradable como la primera.

The Pancake Club is a small, unassuming little place right across the street from both Vondelpark and the Centraal Hotel in Amsterdam. It does not seat a large number of people but it is great for a quiet bite for 1 to 4 people. They serve a simple menu of just pancakes but they execute well on this and you can watch them make them while you wait. I ordered the ham and cheese and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. The wait staff was friendly and responsive, and the food was excellent. This is not a large meal, but if you need something to get you through a couple hours for a under $20 you can’t beat the Pancake Club.

What a cute tent this is! Small, but cozy and atmospheric. The service was also top notch. Our order was on the table in no time and it was delicious too! The only downside was that it was a bit on the pricey side, but it was worth it.

We visit Amsterdam every year but this was our first time getting Dutch pancakes at The Pancake Club. Between the name and the round “flying saucer” style building, our expectations were a bit low, but boy were we wrong! Everything about this place was fabulous! The woman who waited on us (Lydia?) was lovely, very friendly and helpful with our order. They have good coffee, offered mimosas and other beverages, and a great selection of Dutch pancakes. We had one pancake with apples and bacon, managing perfectly our request to go easy on the cheese. My pancake was ham and caramelized onions with the standard amount of cheese on top. Let me tell you… they were both FABULOUS!! Much thinner than other pancakes we’ve had in Amsterdam, more like a crepe than a pancake, and the pancakes were executed perfectly with the right amount of ingredients in each. Both combinations were incredible and a little syrup on the one with apples & bacon had our eyes rolling back in our heads (I'm salivating writing this review)! Don’t be fooled by the location, name, etc, The Pancake Club delivers!

Gran lugar con comida fantástica y un ambiente encantador y vistas al canal. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras tortitas tanto saladas como dulces. El servicio fue genial. Lindas cabinas y forma circular del restaurante hacen que la experiencia gastronómica sea diferente, muy atmosférica. Aunque es pequeño, espere colas en momentos de mucha actividad. Útil para los museos y el tranvía. No era barato, pero entonces dónde estaría en esta ubicación. Muy recomendable.

It was raining today and we were lucky to get a table. We ordered 2 sets of the small fluffy poffertjes - Nutella and strawberry jam - and 1 Dutch pancake with lemon curd and another savoury pancake with bacon and cheese - all of these were excellent. Service was friendly and efficient and the chef even noticed we had a table by the door which meant we were exposed to the elements anytime a customer came in or left and gave us a discount. Highly recommend!!

The best pancakes in the world, they are truly HEAVENLY!! Fluffy, tasty, melts in your mouth just perfectly!! The only problem: after you've eaten poffertjes here, everyone else can't even begin to eat them!

Great spot for breakfast/brunch! Try both the larger crepe-style pancakes (we had a savory one with cheese & veggies) and the smaller Dutch-style pancakes (we had a sweet one with strawberries and cream).

It was delicious and we were very pleased. We would especially like to thank Ms. Parya, who took care of us, for her friendly service and pleasant conversation. 🥰🥰

What a great little place across from the Marriott Hotel. The mini pancakes with strawberries and cream were the best. The cappuccino was delicious, too. Highly recommend and would revisit!

I had a great experience at The Pancake Club! Tried the traditional Dutch pancake, and it was delicious – light, perfectly cooked, and had that authentic flavor I was hoping for. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I visited around noon on a weekday, so it wasn’t crowded, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Plus, I found the prices reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking to try classic Dutch pancakes in a cozy setting!

I got the special, which was a banana pudding pancake, and it was delicious! My mom got the pofferties and loved them. My aunt got the ham and cheese and loved it too. All around, lovely place to go!

Hele goede service, klantvriendelijk en goede kwaliteit poffertjes. Aanrader om naar toe te gaan welke dag van week dan ook. Goed voor een leuke wandeling vanuit Centrum.
