Really good food and nice atmosphere :) had the rosted cauliflower salad and loved it!

Looking for a new (after moving) lunch spot where you can also sit alone. That's how I ended up here. Friendly service, nice look of the interior and really incredibly tasty food. Nice that breakfast is served all day. I will definitely come back here. Later I'll have a look at the shop in the front.

I had a nice meal myself. I had the naan with sticky chicken and it was nicely seasoned. My friend ordered gluten free food but the buns were not baked and were "raw" instead. Other than that it was all good.

Very inconspicuous from the outside, a little dream from the inside. Cozy benches and tables, a cute courtyard that invites you to linger. The food is extremely tasty and really beautifully prepared. The staff was super friendly and very hardworking and in an extremely good mood despite the stress. The day before, two houses burned down on the street, so the electricity had to be turned off without the owners knowing early on. Nevertheless, even though there was a power outage, it was totally cozy and friendly :D I can recommend the shop 100% :)

From the outside you couldn't tell what a fine restaurant was hidden there. Unusual cuisine with great dishes. Small, very unusual and great menu. The service was quite slow or leisurely, but always friendly. At lunchtime it took about 45 minutes to eat. But it was very worth it! A clear recommendation if you don't want the usual snacks or dishes.

For new customers: smokers are NOT welcome here! They will discriminate against you in a very nasty way and turn it into a drama, with you in the leading role. Garden? Very small and very claustrophobic, small, cramped building / garden, with ugly wooden tables and no view. Your butt hurts after just 5 minutes of sitting. There were 0 other customers and I was approached in a very strange way about why I was smoking. This is something very normal and I thought NL was a free country, but not here. The lady then freaks out about it a second time and demands that I put out my cigarette. The other 0 customers to my left and right are really bothered by this, haha ​​wow! How crazy can you be? Suddenly loud screams came from the kitchen and of course this was also about me. They shouted that I was still smoking (1 minute later). How dare I do something normal, just out in the open air? Naughty. You guys are really disgusting, to think that discriminating against customers in such a way is normal, really disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. I will also share my story with friends. The iced coffee was without a doubt the nastiest I've ever had and just tasted bitter. 10 ice cubes, when you take that out you might have 50 ml left. Cake was very dry. Next time I will walk to one of my favorite places, where the staff can behave normally towards customers. And customers are allowed to smoke and enjoy their freedom. It now explains why I was the only one sitting outside. All other people who are aware of this are with me on the better terraces enjoying their beautiful view, freedom, drink and cigarette. I'm also going to open a café soon, where customers are not allowed to drink alcohol. I'm sure you'll find them great too. Because yes, if I don't drink alcohol, I MUST assume that everyone thinks like me and that I am going to force this on everyone. Weirdest PIN device ever, they set it up in advance to demand that they get a 5%, 10% or even 15% tip, what a rude joke! First and last time I see this. If customers would like to tip your bizarre place, they will say so themselves and you don't have to force them. But you guys do like to force, that's for sure. Can you make a new logo as soon as possible, in the colors red and black? Would fit with the behavior and a nice red sign with NICHT RAUCHEN in German.

What a gem in Schagen. A beautiful courtyard that you can enter when you walk past the kitchen. You can see that they work with passion and fresh products. Tip: hidden to the left of the kitchen is a mini courtyard where you can sit with a group of about 4 people. Provided the net happens to be free, of course. There I was sitting in the lovely sunshine with a magazine from their magazine basket!

Pepper and Gold in Schagen is truly a culinary gem! The food is not only delicious, but you can taste the passion and dedication with which it is prepared. The quality is simply excellent and the service is excellent. An absolute must for anyone who loves good food! And the terrace at the back is a really nice addition, beautifully set up for an extra cozy atmosphere.

Leuk restaurantje met keuze voor lactose- en glutenvrije drankjes/ eten. En het eten is heerlijk! Vriendelijke bediening. Wat ook een fijne bijkomstigheid is, is dat ze speelgoed en boekjes hebben voor de kinderen.

Tolles, kleines, gemütliches Café, ob drinnen oder bei schönem Wetter im Hinterhof. Hier kehren wir immer gerne zum Lunch ein. Leckere Gerichte für jeden Geschmack und mal nicht der Einheitskram. Toller Kaffee, vielfältige Kuchenauswahl. Für die Kinder eine Auswahl an Spielsachen. Es passt einfach alles, eine echte Empfehlung.

Al meermaals eten laten bezorgen voor de lunch en écht heel erg genoten! Alles is gewoon lekker!!

Sehr gemütliches und schönes Café mit Kuhmilch Alternativen und sehr gutem Kaffee! Der Hinterhof ist total süß und gemütlich.

Haben dort nur ein Kaffee getrunken. Die Bedienung war sehr gut und schnell. Preis Leistung ist akzeptabel. Die aussen Anlage war sehr urig und gemütlich. Kann man wirklich weiterempfehlen. Wenn wir noch ein mal kommen, dann gerne wieder dort.

Prachtig verstopt terras achter met gezellige sfeer en schaduwdoeken. De lunch en gebak met koffie is hier altijd super. Jammer dat we op zondag niet terecht konden. Superleuke kado winkel zit er in. Ideaal voor een kadobon, kan je kiezen of je wilt lunchen of een mooie vaas bijv uit de kado winkel uit wil kiezen. Binnen is ook erg gezellig. Wel ietwat krap soms. Maar dat maakt voor ons niet uit.

Midden in de winkelstraat ligt dit gezellig ingerichte koffie/lunchzaakje met een binnentuin. Hele hartelijke bediening. Uitstekende koffie en soorten thee met een enorme keuze aan heerlijk zelfgemaakt gebak. Hele leuke lunchkaart met verrassende broodjes, soepen en salades.

Wat een ontzettend leuk restaurantje!!!! Leuke bediening, gezellig, als het warm is een klein terrasje achter, weg van de drukte rondom de markt. Je kan er lunchen, iets drinken, wat kopen..... En op vrijdag hebben ze een daghap (vlees/vis of vegetarisch). Ik was er al een paar keer langs gelopen, maar hoe blij ben ik dat ik nu ook echt binnen ben geweest en de lunch van de dag heb gegeten (mosterdsoep en sneetje brood met filet americain). Ook niet zo'n homp brood zoals je tegenwoordig zo vaak krijgt, maar precies goed. Lekkere thee en koffie en er is ook gebak. Ook geschikt voor glutenvrij!!

Ik heb met mijn vriendinnen hier geluncht .we wilde graag buiten eten en dat kon ik reserveren wat heel fijn was.alleen het weer liet het niet toe en hebben we aan een hele lange tafel binnen gezeten.het is een leuke kaart,weer eens wat andere gerechten dan wat bekend is.ik had een broodje met falafel en dat smaakte heerlijk. Al mijn vriendinnen waren tevreden.Hier wordt met veel passie een nieuwe zaak opgezet dat is overduidelijk en ik kan iedereen aanraden een keer te gaan lunchen of heerlijk koffie met gebak.zeer vriendelijk personeel.
