A cinnamon roll with 3 thin slices of strawberry costed €6! They kindly microwaved the cinnamon roll which made the outer layers dried like paper boards. There are no price tag for pastries and sandwiches, so they can price randomly?

This café is owned by a Dutchman but the staff are Italian. The girls are very friendly, smiling, and very helpful with directions and advice. The muffins and croissants are delicious, though not as buttery as the local ones. In fact, everything we had, both savory and sweet, was delicious. Very clean, highly recommended!

This place is a quick and friendly stop for a cappuccino or a latte. They also have decent croissants with ham and cheese. It’s not gourmet, but it’s good.

Everything here is amazing. From the coffee to the food. Amazing coffee, bringing you back to Italy to amazing stroopwaffels. Definitely not to miss out if you're in Amsterdam. They have everything you need to start you Amsterdam walks to end your night in peace or maybe even getting over party mood. Its not expensive, very affordable, 2 amazing guys running the front serving the best. Right around the block in Liedsplein, easy to access, near the tram stationand most importantly by the canal.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming! And yes they have poffertjes you can customize! Great location, we ate outside enjoying the street view and canals. Fresh orange juice and a lot of bakery items to choose from.

We had a lovely experience at Bakaei in Amsterdam. The food was really nice, we had fresh orange juice and a sweet treat. Customer service was excellent—very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended!

I wish I could give 0 stars! DO NOT GO Do NOT come here, I went to Amsterdam for 5 days I was fine the whole trip up untill I came to this place just before my flight… I bought a apple crumble with custard.. the moment the women gave me the apple crumble I smelt a funny smell which seemed to smell like expired milk ! I brushed it off thinking maybe I’m overthinking it but then after eating half of it I threw it away as it didn’t taste right! Less than a hour late, I had belly cramps, few hours after this I was vomiting all on the plane up untill night time and even during my sleep! Long story short they use expired milk and they do not check! Terrible place ! DO NOT GO !!

Total tourist rip-off! Price for waffle with marshmallow not shown publicly, child took one, only then told the price: € 10! For a small waffle that was also dry. Apparently the price here is made arbitrarily.

This was my favorite spot to get coffee during my short visit to Amsterdam in May. The decaf latte was extra delicious, paired well with a pain au chocolat that was generously filled every time! There's no seating here so it's a very grab and go kind of spot, or you can stand at the bar height table outside.

Like few minutes ago I’ve visited this bakery, to buy some breakfast to work. When you’re going into the bakery at 8:00 morning, you usually expect fresh, crunchy and delicate pastries… but!!! I’ve bought two "chocolate rolls with nuts". It was hard and dry, probably few days old. You can see and hear result in the video!!!

Excellent place for breakfast or anything else, the only flaw, the place is a bit small but it's not a problem for a breakfast on the go. Super recommended if you are Italian on holiday or simply lovers of Italian coffee, many compliments to Andrea (the barista) for the service and the quality of the products!!!

The gentleman was very nice and the cookie I had was good!

The Oreo donut was quite delicious, with fresh cream, generous cookie bits, and just the right amount of sweetness. However, still very overpriced. There were no price tags for the pastry and the staff were a bit shady about it too. I asked how much the donuts were, and they were like: 4 euro each, but of course it depends on the flavour, sometimes you need to add 1 euro more. I said ok, then can you please run me through the prices for everything here as you don’t have the prices marked (there were like only 4 types left so it was not like an insane project). The guy went: “sure we got plain, Oreo, raspberry… I strongly recommend the Oreo one, it’s so good, it has this and that” and went on and on, without a single mention of the price. Yeah I know I should have insisted on enquiring about the price, but I will give him the credit that he IS a very good salesperson. In the end I took the Oreo one, and voila, 6 euro! I do believe he just sold me the most expensive one :D Also, maybe they didn’t do it, but they can give you the vibe that they just made up the amount on the spot. And it would be great if they can improve this bit for the customer experience.

I was few months ago in the morning and they had a really nice coffee, but for this time I come in the evening and I got a bit disappointed 😔 products from morning, what mean it's not so fresh and selling by price of fresh one, but surprised was that there's no any prices on vitrina, so I had a feeling that you pay so much how much would wanna the guy or girl from cassa. Recommend it to visit in the morning and not in the evening

The girl from Naples is fantastic. The bartender is very good at his job.

Staff were awesome, stopped here for a coffee most mornings during out stay. Will visit again next time!
